Setting

After a minute or so of silence, he lifted himself up from where he landed on his bed, now sitting up on the edge of the bed frame, his eyes observing his skateboard for any slight hint of cracking when he had heard a knock at the door. Setting the board against the bottom of the bed's head rest, he stood up, straightening his bed back to how it was before he jumped onto it.
Approaching the door, he heard the voices of... two girls? They're here already?! Taos thought to himself, giving himself a mental slap for forgetting about the school's "experiment". They were introducing themselves to each other, before a third student's voice entered the fray, one asking about a scream, but this new voice was that of a boy's, who had introduced himself as Kagura. After taking a deep breath, he grasped the doorknob, turning it ever so slowly, before silently opening the door.
Reaching for the sign, he noticed the trio of students. The two girls - one with silver hair (or was it white?), the other black, were facing to a redhead junior, one that he had seen only a few times before. He wasn't sure exactly what grade the two girls were in, but he raised a finger to his lips, signaling the junior not to say anything, to keep the two girls from turning around. He silently pulled the sign from the door, setting it on the small desk next to the door frame, taking a small notebook and pencil before slipping out and slowly closing the door behind him, keeping it as silent as possible.
As he closed the door, making little to no sound, he leaned onto the outside frame of his door feet, giving the same junior an "all clear" signal, hoping that the redheaded boy understood what Taos was trying to do.
She then turns back to the read-headed boy who introduced himself earlier, "Hey, again." She smiles, becoming a lot more bubbly now another girl was there.
She feels movement in the room and looks down the hall to her left and then right and shakes her head slightly when she sees no one.
She frowns at the boys question, "There was screaming?" She asks, maybe he heard the noise when they were outside because she didn't hear any screaming.
Yuri looks down at her messy skirt that had gotten bent out of shape when she sat down on her bed, she brushes it down until it looks acceptable and looks back at the people.
She only really realises now how the girl looks, having been caught up in actually getting to talk to her.
Luz as she introduced herself as was only a little smaller than her but had much more striking features - Her long hair was white at the top and as it went down became purple.
"I like your hair." Yuri says, hoping she doesn't sound weird.
Haruhi was confused by the crowd, getting lost in his own head until he realized he was completely alone. He sweatdropped, slapping himself across the forehead, "They probably think you're some kind of freak!" He snapped at himself, then noticed the time on his watch, "S-shit!" and he ran instantly, before skidding to a halt at the end of the hallway, "My stuff!" and he ran back to his room, slinging the door open and frantically pacing around until locating his pencils and notebooks before scooping them up and restarting his dash for class. "I can't believe I'm already at risk of being late and it's my first day!" Haruhi whined to himself, exiting Silver dorm and dashing for the large building in the center of the campus, the school itself..
He adjusted his glasses as he flung the front door open, almost unable to keep his panic silent as he realized just how huge the interior was and how hopeless of an attempt finding his class would be. Why does this always happen to me? Touya never had any problems like this when he first attended Sanctuary.. The small brunette went wide eyed when he laid eyes on his older brother for the first time since school began. His eyes were icy blue, his posture refined and confident.. him and Haruhi were nearly from separate worlds, possibly galaxies. They were nothing alike.. yet it was almost expected for them to be related, a grand cliche. The confident successful older brother being pursued by the clumsy little brother who resembled the little engine that could. Haruhi shook his head, he couldn't think like that. He was only beating himself up. At this rate he'd never even stand a chance of comparing to his brother. Touya didn't beat himself up like this.. Haruhi clenched his fists, running past his brother quickly, pretending to ignore him.
Haruhi finally made it to class, blinking when he realized there was only one classroom for each grade. Wow. Only twenty of the top freshmen in the region made it into Sanctuary? He blushed a bit, rubbing the back of his head. He felt a little accomplished, but then he remembered that everyone in the room earned the same achievement as him, feeling considerably less special. Why did he always bring himself down like that? Haruhi was his own worst enemy. Haruhi sat towards the middle of the classroom so to not be distracted by the windows or the whispering in the back of the room, but to not seem like a teacher's pet by sitting in the front. He wanted the most equilibrium possible. Standing out wasn't really his priority, at least not at the moment. He wanted to get a good feel of the classroom and how advanced the homework and open discussion questions would be. The last thing he wanted to do is make a fool of himself. He noticed plenty of boys he'd never seen before were already seated, staring at the seat in front of him and across from him. He was... such a loner. He didn't have any friends..
"I wonder when everybody will finally pour in? Maybe I've met some of my classmates already.." Haruhi whispered to himself.
Kagura smiled and scratched his head with a light blush on his face in embarrassment and nodded when he noticed the two girl's expression.
“I sometimes can't tell the direction of where i hear things when i play my guitar, I most likely did hear it from the outside or so... Anyways.. Nice to meet you Luz, My name Is Kagura Demuri and don't worry about crashing the school. I always preferred co-education anyways. And I do believe i met you only minutes ago...” He smiled. Shortly after the girls began to talk and for a moment he did feel like he was in a ackward situation until he saw the purple haired dude he usually had seen in the hall. He realized he had given him a signal for an all clear and what not and Kagura smirked looking both ways with his eyes and nodded. It was then when he slipped his hands into his pockets and turned his head slightly when he Haruhi appeared out of his room. His eyes widened when he saw the boy run down the hall in a panic.
He chuckled. “It appears classes are starting soon... I wonder If we're going to be called in for an opening ceremony...” He spoke quietly to himself before turning to the others.
“I believe we'll be taking our leave for now, the freshman that just ran down the hall kinda gives me a vibe that we'll be late if we continue talking here. I'll see you both around” He smiled before raising his right hand in a wave. He then went into his room before grabbing his case. He didn't bother taking off his guitar because he figured he'd use it in between classes. He then walked out and locked the door then went straight out of the dorms.
After walking to the building where his classroom was he slipped in noticing some familiar faces yet none he was too aqcuainted with. He went to his window seat towards the middle of class, sat his things down beside his desk and stared out the window waiting for his teacher or for someone that would talk to him. It became natural for some people to give their hellos on the first day and he was ready. Although Kagura may not start the conversations, He's always willing to keep them going or to at a minimal reply.
She made her way across the school grounds with hurried steps while at the same time rummaging through her bag for her note with directions. She could feel the looks and stares from the male students around her and this only made her blush. This kind of attention was not what she was used to. She remembered being able to make her way through corridors without being noticed, right now she almost preferred that. "Ah, found it..." She said to herself pretty much in a whisper. She held it infront of her as she entered through the doors. The school interior was huge and she felt more panic rising up. Well, here goes nothing... She thought as she took a deep breath and taking her first step forward.
She seemed to be making her way in the right direction. She was actually smiling a little now. Maybe this won't be so bad after all. Just as she was about to make a turn, someone running in the opposite driection managed to into her side, leading to her falling and landing on her behind with a thud. "Oww." She heard chuckling and snickering from around her. Her face went bright red. Sha had managed to embarrass herself even more on the first day and on top of that, she dropped her glasses. She frantically felt around her and actually managed to find the glasses. Her earlier slightly good mood was now gone as she stood up, neatly placing her glasses back on and dusting herself off. I was wrong. Us usual. She sighed and looked up and her eyes widdened. there was her classroom. She amanged to fall on her butt right outside her classroom...great. She quietly entered the classroom and looked around but did not recognize anyone.
Her face was still flustered from her fall so she decided to take a place in the front row by the window to make it harder to see. Well atleast people wouldn't turn around to look at her but she could still feel the same looks she received before entering the school and she still did not like it.
He found easily the senior's classroom and took a seat in the far back of the classroom. From there he could easily see everyone in the classroom and he could sleep peacefully without disturbing others. During his first year in the school the teachers would always get angry at him for sleeping in class, but since he proved them that he could easily keep up with the best students in school, they let him be. Occasionally they would wake him up and wait for the answer to their question and they kept being amazed how he gave the right answer even thought they were sure that he was deep asleep. Leaning backwards on his chair he lazily looked around the classroom. When he noticed Touya not that far away from him he almost fell from his chair.
He had forgotten for a moment that they were in the same class. Rui secretly hoped that Toya would forget about their little game. But he knew very well that hell would freeze over before Touya would forget. There is no chance of backing up now. I must come up with a very good plan. Who knows with what will he come up with if I lose. I might as well end up beaten up.He sighed and leaned on his table. This will be a very long day and classes haven't even started yet. What if I ask someone to help me avert his attention? That way I could... Who am I kidding? There is no way Touya would fall for that old trick.I can't think of anything. I don't have enough sugar in me. I want candy~
"Uhm, n-not to be rude but I, I mean we, I mean I...I really need to go to class."
Lyn stared in horror at the girl, and glanced at her watch. Only five minutes left for her to get to class. Lyn refused to be late. Lyn Akeda was never, ever, late. She held back a swear, and rushed to her bedroom. She slammed the door closed behind her, and let out a low scream of frustration. Making haste, she grabbed her dark olive shoulder strapped bag ( which of course she had already packed ), and flew out the door.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Lyn stopped short of opening the heavy wooden door, her hand resting on the doorknob. She let out a relieved sigh, checked her uniform for any blemishes, and walked in with a smile plastered on her face. As she made her way to a seat near the teacher, she scanned the small crowd of students. They were all new faces. Though she was a bit disappointed that there were no other females in her sophomore class other than her, she quickly let her disappointment pass. In any case she was here to learn, not to make friends. She neatly lay three #2 pencils atop her desk, and straightened her back. She was ready.
Verin noticed one Haruhi Fujioka sitting a couple seats away from him but couldn't find a reason to care. Though, maybe the other male could give him insight on his "perfect" brother. He shook the thought away, that would require the natural recluse to open up and talk to another human being that wasn't related. He tugged on his hood more and cleaned his glasses, two very normal habits of his, but they seemed almost nervous, even to himself. He opened up a couple files on some of the other freshman, making sure to hide the pictures, and read over them, checking and fixing grammatical errors as he went.
He turned to look out the window, his eyes catching the clouds as they floated past. Not even looking at the screen, he opened a new document file and began to type, whatever came to mind. Words were twisted into a beautiful sentence and laid onto a virtual, white canvas. Tales of little green doves and wide open skies swam through his mind as the class filled into the room. He paid them no mind, as he was too busy writing his latest story.
Finally after re touring around the school, he headed towards his classroom. This year this school would be different. This school was never co-ed and now it finally is. Hunter hasn't been in a co-ed school since eight grade, so this would be interesting. Once he got into his classroom, he saw that it was quite empty. He took a seat in the back row and sat there, twirling his messy curly hair around his finger,waiting for everyone else to come, and start class.
He looked out the window his a bored look on his face, wondering about how would this school year would be like with the small changes, with the new students and freshmen.
