"Welcome to Death Weapon Meister Academy. More commonly known as the DWMA. It stands as a defense against the forces of evil, which would plunge the world into chaos and drag humanity into the very depths of fear and madness. The demons known as Kishin, and their eternal hunger for destruction. To ensure that the Kishin never regain their hold on this world, this Academy was founded by the Grim Reaper, Death himself. So basically we're an organization that serves to protect and preserve peace! I guess it's not exactly a typical school. Oh well, that isn't important! For now, lets roll up our sleeves and get to work!”

The main goal of the Academy is to protect the world from evil and preserve peace. In the world, there are humans that may abandon their life as a human and go on the path of an Evil human, a path that transforms them into vicious evil beings that kill innocent humans for their pure souls. When enough souls are consumed, the Evil human can transform into an incredibly dangerous being called a Kishin.
To stop this, the DWMA trains people to combat against these Evil humans, by training their students from a young age to fight and kill these beings. The DWMA trains these Meisters and Weapons to also combat against Witches, which also threaten the peace of the world. Many students are motivated into fighting against the Evil humans and Witches with their main goal: making or becoming a Death scythe. When a Demon Weapon has consumed a certain amount of souls in a particular order (99 Evil human souls and 1 Witch Soul) they gain extraordinary power and can be used by Lord Death himself. Creating a Death scythe is thus known to be a hard and difficult process, and many Meisters are respected for creating a Death scythe, and Death scythes themselves are respected among the students as well.
As well as an organization to protect the peace in the world, Death Weapon Meister Academy is also a philanthropic organization, donating a lot of its money in order to help with the upkeep of the world. In turn, the Academy runs on global tax.

The students are split into two main categories: the Demon Weapons and Meisters. Meisters are humans who show great potential in combat and physical fitness, giving them an advantage in a fight. Demon Weapons are humans with the unique ability to transform their bodies into weapons. The DWMA pairs up different Weapons and Meisters together to form partnerships between them, in order to make powerful teams to stand against the Evil humans, with the Meister wielding the Demon Weapon. Many students in Shibusen are gifted with an abnormal amount of power, and because of this, they are sometimes shunned from normal society. Shibusen takes them in and teaches them on how to control their power, so they can be respected more by people around them.
However, pairing a Weapon and a Meister together is not easy, as their Soul Wavelengths (for more information on Soul Wavelengths, see the article, Souls) need to be compatible with each other. Therefore, the DWMA often holds large gatherings, where students gather together wearing badges indicating whether they are a Demon Weapon or a Meister and try to find the partner they are compatible with. It seems possible that even after accepting a partner, one can change partners if they wish to. Upon enrolling in Shibusen, new students are first grouped together, wearing badges indicating whether they are Weapon or Meister, and workshops are run, giving the new students a chance to make partners. Meisters or Weapons who are popular with more than one person can make 'sponsored partnerships' with others.
Once a Meister and Weapon team is formed, the students can take part in lessons and take assignments on the Mission Bulletin in the Reception area of the Academy to kill Evil humans. Well-trained Meisters and Weapons develop many new powers and abilities as their experience and bond as a Meister and Weapon team grow. Training sessions and physical fitness tests and sparring matches etc. are thus held often in the Academy.
Some high-level Meister and Weapon teams are sometimes called upon to take part in large battles against separate societies that are declaring war with the DWMA.
The classes of the DWMA are split into two categories: the NOT Class, and the EAT Class. NOT stands for Normally Overcome Target. Roughly 90% of the students are in the NOT Class, and they are the ones who are more 'normal' than the EAT Class, and do not have much power, making them more like the non-combatants of the Shibusen students. The EAT Class however, the remaining 10%, are exceptionally talented people with great power. They are given the duty to actually fight against any evil-doers. EAT stands for Especially Advantaged Talent. The combatants of Shibusen are also known as 'agents' (戦闘員 Eejento).
There is no set uniform for the students of Shibusen, however, there are a variety of uniforms once can choose from, and one can match any top with any bottom. Casual clothes are also accepted.
Every year, the DWMA also hosts a grand party for all students and staff, commemorating the founding of the Academy, called the 'Foundation Day Eve' (創立記念日前夜祭 Souritsu Kinenbi Zen Yasai in Japanese) which means that it takes place the night before the actual day Shibusen was founded.
The Meister students and some members of staff that are also Meisters in the Academy are separated into a ranking system. This system is based on the number of stars. Meisters of One-Star Rank make up the majority of the Academy, rookie Meisters. Two-Star Meisters are considered the most advanced Meisters of the student body, like the members of Spartoi. Three-Star Meisters are the most powerful, and is a rank associated mostly with the teachers, such as Sid and Stein. It does not necessarily mean that a Meister can become a Three-Star Meister just by turning their Weapon into a Death Scythe. A Meister needs to have exceptional skill and power to have the title of a Three-Star Meister. There is also the rank of a Death Scythe Meister, a Meister who has made their partner a Death Scythe. Although they are of high rank, they do not necessarily have to be Three-Stars, as the protagonist Maka, has made her partner Soul into a Death Scythe and is still a Two-Star Meister.
At first glance, the Academy can be said to have a rather eccentric appearance, looking a bit like a large fun house rather than a school. Standing on a large platform which can be accessed by a long line of white steps, the school is comprised of a collection of large black towers and spires patterned with white lines and the occasional Shinigami mask. The roofs of the towers are conical and bright red in colour. Enormous candles poke out of shafts along the circumference of the buildings. Strangely, the flames of these candles never go out, and the candles never shorten. The Academy's most distinguishing feature however, are the three large Shinigami skulls lined up at the entrance. The middle skull is the largest, and sports three blood red spikes going through its eye and nose holes. The skulls on the side are smaller and have slanted eyes. The gaps between the 'teeth' of these giant skulls serves as the school's main entrances. At the top of the school hover three strange black orbs, which may have something to do with the seal on Asura due to the way the reacted when he was released. However, it may also be due to the fact that the negative space of the sky, with the three orbs in the sky, looks like Shinigami's mask.
The Academy is completely symmetrical, which immediately impresses Death the Kid upon first enrolling in the school.
The Academy is quite big and grand inside and contains many long corridors with arched ceilings and lamps to light the way and staircases. The corridors also have round windows looking out onto the school grounds. Shibusen is infamous for its winding corridors, many passageways and long staircases. There is a long staircase leading up to the school itself. This structure is on purpose as the Academy seeks to improve its students physical fitness and strength in mind and soul even in everyday school life.

Jack walked in the door of the small caffe, and up to the counter, leaning on the edge, as he talked to the owner.
"I'd like a Latte macchiato, with low-fat espresso made with chocolate milk and extra foam please." He said with a charming smile. The caffe owner gave him a blank stare and said,
"We have coffee. With sugar. And cream."
"Well, I guess that will do." He said. "To go, please." He added. The caffe owner nodded, and poured the steaming liquid into a plastic cup, added sugar and cream and put a lid on it, handing it to the Demon weapon. "That'll be 2.50." he said.
"Okie dokie, here you go." Said Jack, handing him the money and exiting the place. The Weapon took a sip, and put his ear buds in, turning the volume on his music player loud enough that he could not hear his surroundings. Today was the first day of the semester in Shibusen academy, and boy was it tiring. As he made his way back to the dorms, after doing a bit of grocery shopping, he wondered what his partner Shade was doing. During this brief period of though, Jack tripped over a rock and landed face first into the ground. He sighed, picking up a jug of milk, a loaf of b read, some cups of Ramen, various candy bars, and a pack of soda. He frowned, realizing he had spilled his coffee, but he got over it, and entered the dorm. In the lobby, he has greeted by another fall to the ground, as he bumped into a large kid, who clearly had caused the fall by shoving Jack when he bumbed into him. "Watch where yer goin' idiot!" The boy sneered. Jack picked himself off the ground but was shoved again by the boy. "I didn't hear an apology!"
"Oh, um..sorry guy, I guess I wasn't watch-"
"Come on! Speak up I can't hear you loser!"
"I said, I uh-"
"What!?" The boy sneered, obviously taunting Jack.
"Listen you stupid piss bag, you heard me, and If you touch me again, i-"
The boy pushed Jack again, this time slamming him against the wall.
"What yaa gonna do, you wimp-ass punk?!" The boy gaunted.

Kendra had spent the rest of her day after her first day reading a little bit despite hating it she decided to finish up the readings for class. She had went to the store near by and picked up some lollipops, of course different colors she shoved them all in her pocket and had one out which was the lemon flavor one. The lemon flavor lollipops were probably her favorite ones it had a nice taste and she found a great balance.
Kendra put the lollipop in her mouth and then started to walk zoning out, which she did quite a bit. Right now her luck was really holding out she usually got in trouble a lot and that wasn't the best thing ever but Kendra was good with handling that kind of thing. She learned that if you act like the things they say to don't bother them and you leave them without a fight they will shortly leave you alone but Kendra still has tons of fights. She came up into the hall for the dorms. These dorms though were the ones for partners who had wished to share a room. Kendra was still spaced out but then her attention was brought to a huge guy and Jack. She sighed and walked over so she was standing in the middle but beside them at the same time so she wasn't exactly in the way. "Leave him alone..You really have nothing for a life do you? Picking on kids half your size not even..Must mean you really suck at fighting huh? I mean it's common sense you can defeat those who are bigger than you and put up a big challenge so you go and under estimate the shorter kids and try to beat them up. You're such a prick." She said calmly and with a matter of fact tone in her voice and she crossed her arms. Out of the three of them she was the shortest but that didn't mean shit.

Aiko was tempted to throw the book down on her desk. So she did. "New rule.. never read more than two-hundred pages a day. Headache, much.."
She rubbed her temples and got up. After untangling herself from the chair, she walked outside her dorm door, deciding that fresh air would be great right then. She brushed her blue hair behind her ear as voices sounded just by the corner. She stopped, listening for a second, before determining that it was the same, overmuscled guy that was shouting at her earlier. She thought he'd shut up after her reply. Apparently not.
Aiko turned the corner with a look of irritation. "Yo. Hey. Look at me. Remember me, from earlier? Yeah, I'm the one who made you run back to your mom." Akru spent most of the day sleeping in class. Which he did a lot not that he never did his work he always made sure to do it when he woke up. But after class he went to his dorm and making sure his things were there. He looked around and grabbed his stuffed bunny it was warm and soft he always loved it the most it was about the size of him and it kept him warm in the cold season and it was already getting kinda chilly he walked back out the door locking behind him he went down to the store to pick up some supplies that he need mainly tea and sweets after he was done he returned to the dorm plopping down on the bed hugging his bunny he was still very tired from the night before. He didn't get much sleep at all he started day dreaming and started falling asleep quietly laying in a bed with oversized animals that kept him warm.

The bully let go of Jack's collar and scowled. "Whatever. I'm not fighting freakin' girls." As he walked away, he made it a point to step on most of Jack's groceries. Jack dusted himself off, picking up the groceries that weren't ruined. "Thanks guys...er, girls. What an asshole he was."

Beatrix had been all happy and hyper through all her classes today. Beatrix has so much energy she hardly gets burned out during classes. Akru felt Beatrix when she entered the room to begin with she had so much energy he could feel it when she started poking him he blinked his eyes a bit his vision blurred he mumbled for a second then her face became clear he blushed and started burying his face into the soft material that he was wrapped around and mumbled through it "yes?" he was still really tired and wasn't a good waker-upper he sat there waiting for a reply and was kinda embarrassed and didn't even know why he blushed.

Waking up late Shade slips into his regular clothes simple light black pants and shirt. "Time to check what trouble Jack has gotten himself into" Shade sighs to himself. Before heading out of the dorm room Shade slips on a long black cloak/jacket. Walking down the hall he notices a leaf falling outside the window, bringing a smirk to his face. Noticing Jack And to girls as well as a bully slinking off. wiping the sleep out of his eyes Shade sighs "Jack what happened?" Shade asks in a serious voice,as he walks in from behind the two girls barley catching the words "pick on you" said by one of them.

Riku had been sitting on the roof of the dorm, his sketchbook in his hands, and a slight scowl on his face. This drawing was not working out. He couldn't seem to get the shading right on it at all. This was after spending almost the full day's worth of classes working on it...it frustrated him no end...he was giving up on this one, it had to be said. Closing the sketchbook and placing it carefully back into his bag, he climbed down from the roof, almost regretting that he had to. He was no angel, but he liked high places the best, and Shibsen Academy was about as high up as you could possibly get. Riku liked it here, it was safe for him. He liked his partner as well, Lilith was pretty nice to him, despite her nastiness to everyone else, and she didn't ask about his scars...that was the main thing for him, that nobody knew why he had them...

Akru whined alittle bit "but I like the night its so much quite and easer because your a sleep your energy is a lot lower making it.....peacefull" He sat up and moved to the edge of his bed "well if im up what do you suppose we do?" he stood up and noticed he was kinda short compared to her but it didn't bother him at the monument any way he went to the end of his bed were he put his bags of sweets and started unwrapping butterscotch his favorite candy on earth.

"Really Jack do just attract bad luck or what?" Sighing he looks at the girls. Recognizing Aiko from the eat class but kinda unsure if he knows Kendra from anywhere, Shade makes a sweeping motion with his hand and bows towards the girls. "Thank you for taking care of Jack if you ever need anything from me do not hesitate to ask." Shade says smiling before returning to a straight standing position. "So you did remember to get our supper Jack" Shade says looking back towards Jack and the mess, "and didn't just get your coffee thingy like usual."

Beatrix smiled. "Arku, do you not like the way I act or how much energy I have?" She asked looking at him. "I can try and lower my energy rate if you want." She said trying to make him happy hoping that her was of course because if he wasn't happy then she wasn't. "As for something we could do..Maybe get something for dinner and meet up with others we haven't seen for awhile." She said thinking about all the different things now.

Aiko smiled, feeling slightly triumphant. She dipped her head at Shade in acknowledgment and turned her smile to both of them. They looked nice. As soon as she thought it, her face reddened and she looked away.
"Bye, Kendra," she called. Aiko adjusted her hair again. She was rather self conscious about it. "So, you guys, I suppose if you don't need me, I'll be off.." she took a step back, wondering where Kor was this time.

Dante rolled off the couch and fell onto some old pizza boxes, he got up while opening his eyes then streched and yawned. The place would be classed as a mess by other people but he didn't care, at least he knew where everything was. After tidying himself up abit he left the apartment, passed some people on his way down the stairs and went out the front door of the dorms. It was late afternoon and the sun was had fallen asleep in the sky, that means Dante had slept through pretty much the whole day. He bought himself a pizza and went to the steps of the academy and sat down roughly in the middle of them, he just ate his pizza while laying down and didn't really care what was happening else where at the moment, as long as it didn't involve him.

She said excitedly and let go of him. "I just want you to be happy..I'm fine if you want me to tone it down a bit I mean sometimes I get too excited." She said and cocked her head slightly to the right and gave a bright smile. "I'm sorry for waking you up I just figured that you'd want to do something with me and I didn't want to leave you all alone." She said and brushed a few strands of her hair behind her ear. Dash pulled a backpack over her shoulder, pulling on her boots while munching on a piece of bread. Everything else of hers was being delivered in a truck. The only thing she was leaving behind was a note saying she was moving out. She was in a rush to leave her parent's messy house and move on in life. She was planning to start a new life at the DWMA and she was not going to have it ruined by a bad start. She pulled a rainbow colored skateboard from the closet and opened the door silently. She stepped out and closed the door, making sure not to wake her parents. She placed the skateboard on the ground and took off, heading down the road. Her parents wouldn't know where she was ever again, plus they probably wouldn't even care. She chuckled to herself as she finally spotted the school on the top of a slope. She increased speed and stopped at the steps. She picked up the skateboard and picked it up, strapping it onto her back. She ran up the steps, spotting a boy with pizza. She giggled to herself and grabbed a slice as she ran past him. "Thanks!" She laughed and ran into the school dorms and pulled a piece of paper from her pocket. She looked at it and then spotted her and her meister's room, quickly trotting over to it and opening the door. A stench hit her nose and her eyes went wide at the sight of the dorm. She closed the door behind her and screamed. "I have to deal with this all over again?!" She grumbled to herself, placing her bag on a rusty hook by the door. She trudged to the closet, thanking an invisible being whenever she saw it was filled with cleaning supplies. She quickly got to work, cleaning the couch and floor, mopping the kitchen, and doing all the rooms until they were sparkling clean. She looked at her rainbow thunderbolt watch and sighed. "Great. A new record of 40 minutes. Now to meet my meister hopefully." She sat on the now clean couch and turned on the dusted TV, changing it to a cartoon channel.

Beatrix quickly grabbed her favorite hoodie and slipped it on as well as grabbing her soft white scarf. Beatrix had always loved being so warm and cozy. She then ran out closing the door behind her and caught up to Arku. "You know I'm glad you're my weapon..You're so damn cute plus together as a team we're awesome!" She said happily. She walked along side him until the started to walk outside and came to the steps where Beatrix saw Dante. "Hey Arku look!" Beatrix said very excited and happy. "It's Dante!" She said with a big smile.

He smiled when she noticed Dante so she wouldn't think anything was wrong he personal thought he was a slob but maybe it was just him he held the stuffed animal closer to his face it was starting to get chilly but he kinda liked the cold.

"Hey Dante!" She said smiling. All that went through her head was 'he's gonna eat a whole pizza to him self?' That was kind of gross. Beatrix could never eat more then two slices let alone a whole pizza but everyone was different. "Bye!" She said quickly and walked down the steps and stopped at the bottom waiting for Arku. She knew well enough that Arku never really talked to anyone but her and besides right now seemed like the perfect time to go get something to eat.

Sorry didn't post much today! I have been helping my parents out and through out this whole night I have been waiting for my friend to get home also I've been up doing homework I had a 300 word paper to write..Which was nothing but still I also had a whole bunch of notes to do..So I am tired out and I am going to bed!

A.C: perhaps have your character/meister meet some people talking. From what it looks like, there are students everywhere. Also, I completely understand what you mean by roleplays failing. I dislike when there's lots of short posts coming in constantly, because that's usually the biggest factor of a failing RP. More spaced out posts are better; also you have something to look forward to! =D

Soul I would like to point out that A.C's characters have nothing to do with yours, Lurelle's, and Triblade'sn characters. You and Triblade are waiting on Lurelle to post so double check before you go and say things. (I know I'm not the GM or anything but I just like to be fair and I don't like people being told they are being waited on when they simply aren't.)
