Description: Standing at five foot eleven inches, this young man is tall without being overly so. He weighs a healthy one-hundred and fourty-seven pounds, pure muscle by the way ladies. Wink, wink. Julian has dark brown hair that is kept short and usually swept back from his face, revealing his sparkling emerald green eyes. This male has high cheekbones and a pronounced jawline that seems to draw many girls to him due to his apparent strength.. Appearances, pshht, who needs them?
Strong arms and legs, a flat stomach ridged with strong abdominal muscles, and long (oddly elegant) fingers that surround his average sized hands make up the rest of Julian's relatively typically masculine physique. Oh, and one more thing. Julian has the ivory skin tone all Moroi have, royals and non-royals alike. Perhaps it only adds to his good looks? The lovely young ladies of St. Vladimir's seem to think so anyway.
Personality: Julian is your typical goofy party guy. He's the type who doesn't like silence and covers it with a joke, good or otherwise, just to fill the empty air. He attends parties to socialize and have fun, of course, and has a tendency to flirt unintentionally toward both sexes while intoxicated.. Which he often is at parties, typical of a teenager. While fun and games are his favourite thing in the world, Julian has his periods of being calm and serious too though they never last long. " Why not make people happy when they're sad?"; is one of his most commonly said phrase whenever he get's in trouble for 'not taking class seriously' and such.
He isn't one to become angry much, nor annoyed, which makes him a pretty laid back kind of guy to be around. Dependable and trustworthy, you can come to him with anything and he is guaranteed to take you seriously and try to cheer you up. He's never managed the top grades in any class, ever, but this doesn't mean he's stupid; just lazy. Very, very lazy. Although it does help that he remembers things quite easily, not quite a photographic memory. Honesty is something you can expect from Julian but, beware, he tells it like it is even if it'll hurt. He doesn't believe in lying to 'help' and that lies only bring people down that much more.
In other words, Julian is a pretty friendly and reliable guy to have as a friend. He's easy to trust and never gives up on his friends or his newest project, school projects being an exception.
History: Julian Nicholas Sterling was born during a heavy rainstorm on April 4th, almost eighteen years ago now. Even as a baby he was always laughing and smiling, which began from almost day one as strange as that is. Always the happy child, pleased as punch to try to toddle around the living room as his parents stood and watched with nothing but smiles for the boy. When Julian turned four he found out he would be eagerly awaiting his newest family member in a few months and would constantly feel his mothers already bulging stomach while he spoke soothingly to the child he knew it held within. Full sentences, no less, and little to no stuttering or 'baby talk'. As you can tell, his intelligence was actually quite high from early childhood.
He welcomed his baby sister, Amelia Margery Sterling, a few months later; born several weeks premature. Unfortunately, Amelia had had a twin, unknown to everyone, who had been much smaller and hadn't survived the birth let alone having been early. He was named Aarik Warren Sterling and given a small burial service at a nearby cemetery, although Julian never found out about his baby brother until a few years later when he was leaving to attend St. Vladimir's Academy at the age of ten. His parents hadn't wanted any secrets between them and had taken him aside to inform him. Sure, he'd been bothered but quickly realized his mother and father had just been keeping him protected from death at such a young age. Secretly, he was a bit angry but, for the most art, glad they had finally told him.
And so, Julian began to attend the academy that would determine most of the rest of his life.. If he was forced to really have a Guardian.. While attending parties, of which alcohol became a permanent fixture in as he grew older.
