Name: Meira Phenix
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Eye color: An orange-ish shade of brown, seeming crimson when looked at in the light.
Hair color: Silver.
Height: Five feet, five inches.
Weight: 110 pounds.
Appearance: Meira is the sort who doesn't exactly stand out in a crowd. She is average in height, build, and figure, with long, slender limbs, narrow, slightly hunched shoulders, a fairly thin waist and flat stomach, and a well rounded, small chest. Her pale skin is kept impeccably clean through a creative application of her powers, and, consequently, has nary a mark or blemish on it, aside from her spade-shaped scar seared into the dead center of her back, right between her shoulders. Her nose, ears and chin are petite, her teeth clean and white, her lips soft and pink. Her only real distinguishing features are her somewhat unsettling eyes and her long, straight white hair, kept out of her eyes by a red and white bow but otherwise let flow back to a spot a little way above her waist, covering her scar from view should she ever go swimming or some such and expose her back. On a final note, her usual manner of grinning in a slightly crooked way causes her left canine tooth to poke out from behind her lips in a fang-like manner.
Her usual outfit consists of a simple white blouse, the collar of which is left unbuttoned so she doesn't get hot, a slightly baggy pair of bright red trousers kept up by thin red suspenders, and an aesthetic half-skirt, colored mostly red but trimmed white. Topping this off with fingerless white gloves and a pair of simple black shoes, she ends up with a somewhat tomboyish appearance. Her usual manner consists of a slight slouch, wandering aimlessly with her hands either slipped firmly into her pockets or stretched over her head in a carefree manner. She talks in a casual, almost condescendingly blunt way, and is almost never seen without her trademark crooked grin.
On a final note, her weapon of choice is a rather unusual one - a Naginata, which is pictured along with her. Essentially, it's a scimitar blade mounted on an amazingly well crafted and sturdy wooden staff. Using her powers, she usually just calls it to her location when she needs it and sends it back to her room when that use is no longer required.
Personality: Meira is, in general, a shameless tomboy. There's nothing girlish about her at all. She's blunt to the point of rudeness, dresses and acts with an incredibly casual air, and generally doesn't care much about things in general. Or at least, she doesn't seem to. While normally, she's rather aloof, if you're one of the Numbers of Spades, you can expect her full protection. You might as well have a mother grizzly bear watching your back, because she does not let anyone touch her pals. She loyally follows orders so long as they don't put any of her friends in harm's way, but she'd walk through hell and back for her allies, even if her commanders had specifically ordered against such an action, and then go tell it to those very commanders' faces with a grin and a laugh. She doesn't really care about the whole Human situation, but doesn't mind Humans either. On a final note, she can act somewhat battle-hungry at times, and is always up for a good fight, be it simply a training spar or a duel to the death. Such activities are the little bits of fun in her otherwise boring life. On a final note, she suffers from mild pyromania.
Suit: Spades, 10.
Power: The manipulation of distances, a bizarre power to be sure, with many diverse applications. It has its limits however. Something about other people prevents her from manipulating any distances inside another person's body, so she can't, say, rip someone's heart out with a thought. In addition, without someone else's consent, she can't move them very far from their current location. So, say, teleporting someone else to the surface of the sun would be impossible. On the other hand, she is fully capable of doing things such as summoning her naginata, no matter how far away it is, warping the fabric of space to keep enemy attacks away from her - although this has its limits as well, as enemy attacks, especially magical ones, have a certain "will" behind them that she finds hard to manipulate - or, her personal favorite, opening a gate to the surface of the sun and releasing colossal typhoons of fire upon a target. She can control this fire in a way by manipulating distance gratuitously, but this requires a great deal more patience and concentration than she generally cares to possess. As such, most of her fire attacks are just a non-directional barrage of pure heat, which she herself is not harmed by, as she manipulates the distance between herself and the heat of the flames so as to stay out of harm's way.
However, Meira is also very, very lazy. While this power normally might have been enough to propel to her a higher rank, she has managed to fool her fellows into believing that she simply has the power of teleportation. As such, when other Suits are around, she generally will just teleport herself, or use "continuous teleportation" to hover/fly. However, when nobody's watching, she kicks things up a notch, and begins using her true power to disastrous effect.
Bio: Meira was born to a rather strict family, and as such, was cooped up inside a great deal of her life - partially due to her minor case of albinism and overly paranoid parents - a fact which aggravated her to no end. Her two brothers always got to gallivant around outside, and she often did her best to sneak out and join them. She spent most of her free time playing with boys and, consequently, picked up several boyish traits of her own, which in turn served to further irritate her parents. Possessed of a rebellious streak, when she found out about her unusual abilities, Meira was overjoyed, and used her powers in her spare time to explore diverse locations a la teleportation. Eventually, however, her parents discovered her little trips when she made the mistake of appearing out of thin air right in front of them while they were trying to find where exactly their daughter had been hiding from them. Everything was explained, and Meira was quickly deemed a freak and a threat and turned out of her home, souring her view of the world somewhat. While she tried to convince herself that they had never cared for her and she had not cared for them, it still hurt to be thrown out of the place she'd been raised by the very people who had raised her.
It was fortunate, then, that she found SUIT before any of the anti-SUITs found her. She quickly entered the organization, and, at the time, was actually convinced that her power was just teleporation. However, training both in weaponry and in control caused the young SUIT-to-be to realize that her ability was so much greater than that. She might have revealed this to her comrades as well, were it not for that lazy part of her who would have hated to go to a bunch of meetings or do paperwork. As a 10, she realized, all she would have to do would be train her fellows and follow orders from the Aces, Kings, Jacks and Queens, giving her the power she would have greatly enjoyed without making her do a bunch of annoying paperwork and unnesecary strategizing. So, instead, she honed her abilities to the point of perfection, and soon managed to outdo the previous Ten of Spades, taking his place. And so we reach the current date...
Oh, and Deuces.
