Strages Mansion

Strages Mansion

0 INK

Four angels and four demons are brought to a strange mansion named Strages. There they find out they must coexist for a year, and there is no way to escape. What will happen? (Side Note: I had this RP on another site and am now bringing it here.)

1,323 readers have visited Strages Mansion since Cookies Need Love created it.

Introduction

One day God and the Devil had a meeting. Each of their Kingdoms had been growing weaker as they fell more and more out of balance. The two spoke, and fought, for a long, long time until a conclusion was reached. This conclusion was based upon the fact that the two found they were most powerful when they were coexisting equally. All the fighting, wars, and bloodshed had only brought disaster upon each Kingdom. And so a solution was devised.

Four angels and four demons are, for some reason or other, on Earth. Some may have been cast out, or some may have been sent on a mission. Maybe some just wanted to get away. Each one is in a different place and are unaware of each other, but at the same time on the same day each receives a strange message. The message comes in the form of a blood red butterfly that turns into a letter as soon as it touches the intended receiver. The message states a date, time, and address and is signed, respectively, the Devil or God. Of course they might be suspicious or unwilling, but refusing an order from one so powerful is a bad idea. And so they all go, bringing as few or as many possessions with them as they desire.

As each one arrives at the address they will find a mansion. They will enter the mansion and be greeted by a butler who will guide them to a room that has only a single table with eight chairs on either side. They will not be able to exit that room. As soon as all eight have arrived and are in the room the butler will disappear, never to be seen again. Not to worry, of course. They will not be stuck in that room forever. Their prescence in the mansion will be explained as soon as all eight are present and sitting in the chairs. The chairs will be labeled and no demon will sit next to a demon, or an angel next to an angel. Already they are being prepared for the situation they will have to face.

As soon as the last angels and demons were seated a glowing light filled the room. It blinded everyone and when it faded two glowing orbs were floating in the front or the room. One was pure white and seemed to be created out of a celestial light. The second was a dark, blood red and emanated a feeling of anger and despair. The first orb countered the second with peace and hope. The two orbs could instantly be recognized. They were the Earthly prescences of the Lord and the Devil. The two had never been seen together, so this occurrence was odd enough before the orbs began to speak. Well, more like they projected their thoughts to the demons and angels in the room.

"Greetings, Young Ones. No doubt you are confused about your prescence here," came the white orbs kindly greeting. The sound of His voice was enough to calm the most heated tempers.

"We shall tell you what we require of you. You have no doubt noticed that there are four Demons and Four Angels in this room. Even those of you who aren't too bright should be able to grasp that," was the Devil's opening statement. His voice could inflame the most tranquil in the room. Still, the Devil sounded cordial, and only slightly insulted those at the table.

"We have found that we are both most prosperous when we are in balance. Balance is, regrettably, very difficult to achieve. We each wish to see if Angels and Demons can stand to be together for long periods of time without killing each other," God added. The reason for the mix of Heaven and Hell in the room was now becoming clear. The tension was thick, but no one would dare interrupt the two powerful Master's. The fact that they seemed to be working together alone was enough to keep most of them quiet.

"You eight are our trial run. You will be living together for a year in this mansion. You will be able to go outside, but do not attempt to leave. You will not be able to. Those of you with wings are permitted to fly, but go too far and you will be retrieved. We will always know what is going on here, though we may not intrude," the Devil finally announced what exactly the eight were doing in a mansion. A wave of shock rippled through the room but was ignored by the two deities.

"If you start to fight we will not interfere. But do your best not to kill each other. There will be no servants. Simply ask the house for what you need and it will be provided. Do not ask for a way to escape, or any means of communication. They will not be provided," God explained further, the orbs voice echoing in the minds of those at the table. No one had moved or made a sound during the entire presentation.

"That is all. No questions? Good. Farewell, our little pawns. Enjoy yourselves," the Devil said in a teasing goodbye. Again a blinding light filled the room and when it faded both orbs were gone, leaving the Angels and Demons to ponder what had just happened.

A year left to their own devices with the creatures they have been taught to hate since birth...

We will be starting the roleplay with the angels and demons just arriving at the mansion. When all eight are in the room, I shall post the Lord and the Devil's speech once more to refresh your memory. Then you can go ahead and do whatever you wish... Mostly.

Rhiannon looked around, making sure she was all alone in the dark alley, then turned into her dragon form. She used a spell to track down the address. "This better be important. I was so close." Rhiannon sighed and blinked away the tears in her eyes, now she was angry. "Why did he have to bother me now I was so close. That rat ba*****." she mumbled to herself. Soon her flight took her to a large mansion where she landed on the front lawn. She saw angels and demons arriving and growled to herself, snorting a small flame. This was not a good time to put her with others.
Rhiannon transformed into her regular form, and walked to the door.
"Greetings," a butler said as he walked her to a room with a large table. "Please have a seat where your name has been written on the place card."
Of course she was in the middle. Perfect. Rhiannon fought to keep from turning into her dragon, since it would destroy the table, and she was pretty sure her and others would need it.

It is during when he is playing in some sort of meadow belonging to the humans when he first sees the red butterfly, and when it comes to him, Elijah is at first, confused. But he doesn't question the reasoning behind its being here when he sees that the message that it has taken form with is signed by his beloved God, and unquestionably, he stands from the sweet scented grass as the few woodland creatures that he had been playing with slides down from their place on his chest and arm when he had been lying down. Little bunnies and squirrels look up to him with sad eyes, and he crouches down with a similar look, "don't worry. I'll be back sometime." He widens his smile, "don't be sad. Please grow up properly, " he cheerily speaks, "so we can play next time!" In understanding, the small fluffy creatures run off in several directions as he sprouts wings from his body.

Despite how drawing forth his given wings creates vibrations through the air scared several off, he stares at the destination in which he was to go to, and he draws away any curiosity or doubt. Elijah holds onto his hat when he jumps with his feet to take flight, still holding flowers from that meadow in his hand. "Perhaps it is a sort of mission?" He says aloud to no one in particular as he spreads and flaps his wings. As he's soaring throughout the skies in search, he shakes out stray grass strands in his hair, and doesn't notice how he's still wearing human clothing until he reaches the mansion, of which he notes has several other beings, and he freezes on the spot when landing once he realizes what they are. Angels, and.. demons? He tries to shake away any fear that God may want them to go and try to kill each other or something, as Elijah knows that God knows that he is unable to kill even the most vile of creatures, even of demons.

He enters the building nervously, and shakes off the jacket and hat on him as he places in the hands of some human, whose attire he doesn't recognize, but the human(?) male merely smiles reassuringly and leads him to a room of a large table where Angels and Demons were gathered, seated in orderly fashion of no two demons together, nor two angels seated beside the other. It makes him even more nervous, and once seeing the label of his name on a chair, he takes a seat, and merely smiles brightly, as he patiently awaits what should happen. There shouldn't be anything to worry about, as God has asked of my presence here. Surely, He has something in mind.. But Elijah cannot help his leaning away the comfortable chair, as comfortable as it was, and nearing the table as his arm props up to support his tilting head before staring off into space with a daze. Already, he was missing the nice feeling of the field he had been in prior, and how the grass really sweet. He slowly falls into a sort of soft reverie, imagining how cute the young woodland creatures before were when they had been playing their games, ignoring the others' presences and calming himself from any nervousness previous, until God and the Devil himself (!) (Elijah could feel his eyes widening) appear before their gathering. Now, he was utterly terrified as to what was to happen as of now, to see his God and the most infamous Fallen within the same room.

Alyss

Alyss stepped out of the cab, her wings folded up underneath the black t-shirt she was wearing. If she wore white her wings would show through and Alyss couldn't have that. No one even knew she was an angel, let alone a Fallen, and she preferred to keep it that way. She had brought nothing with her for she needed nothing. Even if she had to stay in the mansion she saw before her over night she would be fine. God hadn't specified why he needed her here, but Alyss assumed that it was for further punishment. After all, she had become almost happy in her human guise and that wasn't acceptable. She was supposed to be suffering for her heinous crimes. Alyss slipped a couple bills into the cabbie's slightly opened window without even looking. She could've given him a hundred dollars for all she cared. Money was so easy to earn on Earth. Alyss walked up to the mansion, long dark hair pulled up into a braid. Alyss had intertwined dark green ribbons into the braid in an attempt to look slightly presentable. After all, she might be meeting her Lord in there. Still, Alyss was a little suspicious so she had a dagger tucked into the back of her worn jeans. Who knew what could be hiding in there?

Alyss knocked on the mansion's door, a hand hovering close to her hip so she could grab the dagger if she needed to. She had other ways of fighting, this was just the quickest. A butler opened the door and smiled at her. "Miss Alyss, we've been expecting you."

"Follow me," the butler said. Alyss nodded and followed the butler into the mansion. The man led her to a plain door and opened it for her. Inside was a table with eight labeled chairs, and a girl. Alyss arched an eyebrow and turned to the butler, but he had dissappeared.

"Oh, typical." Alyss muttered, walking into the barren room. She slipped into a seat and nodded once at the girl.

Damien

Damien stared at the mansion, a cigarette hanging from his mouth. He had on his usual smirk of confidence and bravado. So, this is where he was supposed to be, huh? Damien didn't see anything special about the place. Too old fashioned for his tastes but eh, who was he to argue with the Devil? 'Sides, hopefully he'd be outta here soon enough. Damien headed for the door, letting out a plume of smoke. The door opened before him, revealing a stately old man.

"Mr. Damien, please follow me," the butler said. He turned and walked deeper into the house. Damien hesitated, then shrugged and followed the butler inside. Who knew what was in there, but he might as well check it out. It seemed like fun, anyway. The butler stopped in front of a plain door and stopped, waiting. Damien pushed open the door to see two girls waiting inside with a table and some chairs.

"Two pretty girls? Is it my birthday?" Damien asked, offering a wink to each of the occupants. He strode into the room and glanced around. There was a chair with his name on it besides the black haired, pale girl. He tossed his feet up on the chair and relaxed back, blowing some smoke at the ceiling.

"Anyone know what the hell we're doin' here? How 'bout you, weird dude?" Damien directed the last question at the guy who had his eyes closed.

Rhiannon nodded at the 3 who entered, "Could be." she winked back, forgetting her foul mood for an instant. "All I know is I got a note from Devil, Boss saying to come here, which really pissed me off cause I was in the middle of something." She sighed and put her feet on the table, leaning her chair back. "So since we're all here together, I feel we should at least learn something about one another while we're waiting," she continued with presenting her self. "I am Rhiannon, also known as the Welsh Witch. I am very pissed off right now, and am holding in extreme emotions that may explode any minute, so do not be stupid." She then got up and walked to the obnoxious, flirtatious guy, "Your turn hotshot," she stated as she touched his arm lightly and then leaned against the wall.

Damien

Damien smirked as one of the girls winked back at him. He decided he rather liked this girl; much more then quiet one who had simply glanced at him before turning away. He sensed a rather cold, dark aura from her and preferred the other girl's willingness to flirt. After all, flirting was one of his favorite things and he liked it when a chick was happy to oblige. He tossed the other girl another smug smirk and leaned further back in his chair.

"You got a letter from the big guy, too? Small world," Damien commented carelessly. He let loose another puff of smoke cheerfully. Damien didn't particularly care about what they were doing here. He hadn't been in the middle of anything important, really, seeing as his fortune would continue to amass even while he wasn't there. It was almost time for him to head home, pay off some debts, and spend a little well needed time in the fires of Hell. He arched a brow as the girl- Rhiannon, apparently- introduced herself. Extreme emotions? Well. That was certainly most tempting. He looked up at her as she walked over to him and leaned over him in a... Well, a rather appealing position. He sighed in disappointment when she decided to lean against the wall and swung his legs down to stand.

"Well, sweetheart, just because you decide you wanna get open and friendly with everyone doesn't mean I gotta do the same. Although I wouldn't mind gettin' a little friendly with you, darling," Damien responded, moving to lean in front of Rhiannon. He leaned in a little closer and grinned at her with another rather flirtatious wink. Then, suddenly, he pushed away from her to return to his seat and his original position.

"I'm Damien, everyone. Nice to meet me, I'm sure."

The red butterfly appeared in a woodshop at a poor school one day. It flitted to a slight, blonde haired young girl who was admiring a bird house created by a young man who had just changed his life around. Before that girl had shown up, he was on a dark path that would lead only to trouble. That girl's mission had been to guide him back onto the right path and to teach him to do something constructive instead of the other way around. Evangeline watched as the pretty insect wound its way toward her and landed in her palm. It became a letter from her Lord that requested her pressence.

Muttering a distracted excuse to leave the workshop, Evangeline made her way out of the school yard, and to her partners office, where she proceeded to show him the letter. She was nervous about what it meant and was frightened that she did something wrong and that the Lord was calling her to answer for her mistake. Her partner just laughed, however, and with a kindly voice, told the young angel that is was a great honor to be called forth to His pressence, especially as a Guardian as she was.

Feeling better, Evangeline took her leave, transforming herself into a dove and flying toward the described location. Alighting on the front lawn, her fears returned. Why was she here? Did she do anything wrong? The suspense was too much for her and she forced herselft to breath calmly before knocking on the door. After all, she thought, this is suposed to be a great honor, right? She knocked on the door, which opened and revealed a sharply dressed butler. He stood aside and ushered her in. 'The others are in the meeting hall.' He said with a bored drawl. He opened another door for the girl and gestured her to enter.

Evangeline tentatively walked throught and stopped at the sight of the others already there. Thre was an angel, she could see by his aura. A fallen angel. And two demons. these last two made her heart just into her throught. Demons? Here? why would the Lord have her come to this place with demons? She had her stories about them and had learn to hate them from the time of her creation. Thier malevolent auras didn't help either and the already terrified angel grew even more frightened. She made her way to the table and took a seat as far as she could away from the others in that room. She didn't speak, she didn't look up, she just waited for it to get started so it could end. Whatever it was.

Corbin looked down, leaning onto the railings of the roof terrace. It was silent—and that was why he liked this neighborhood. It got boring, of course, but he’d rather stay there than go to a noisy environment. Just as he pushed himself away from the railings, hell’s messenger, or at least he considered it such, gave him a letter.

He saw an address, and, apparently, it was from an old friend—the Devil. He thought about it for a while, assuming it was a trap. After all, he did stop obeying some orders of the guy. But another thing occupied his mind… the fact that the demon could’ve just dragged him back down to hell without need of any unnecessary activities.

He disregarded everything and just jumped up the railings and down the building, only to turn into a raven just in the nick of time, and soar back up the blue sky. A raven didn’t look appropriate for a place like that, though.

The place indicated wasn’t very far from wherever he was. He just flew for a couple of minutes and glided down an alley that led to the said address. Before the black bird could set foot, he turned back human, and instead of scratching noises, his footsteps were what can be heard.

Upon entrance, he was greeted by a man, supposedly a servant of whoever owned the place. He led Corbin to a room where his fellowmen, and some “Feather folk,” as he called them, were there.

“Sir, we’ve a seat reserved for you.” The man told him, gesturing to a seat that was, apparently, in between the seats of two Feather folks.

His right eye twitched, and when he turned around, the butler wasn’t there anymore. He faced the others now, sighing, “Oh joy.” He somehow managed to bring himself to the chair without having to kill himself. “Fate can be quite irritating, huh?” He refrained from rolling his eyes.

Alyss

The black haired angel watched the room with apparent disinterest as those around her talked. Well, two of them did. The other angel, at least that's what she thought he was, had sat in his chair and kept his mouth shut so far. The guy with the tail, Damien, seemed like the typical demon to her. Arrogant, self obsessed, and horny. Alyss turned her head away from Damien, instead directing her attention to the other demon in the room. Rhiannon, the Welsh Witch with extreme emotions. Certainly fascinating stuff, really. Alyss didn't care much about the other occupants of the room. She'd long since lost any prejudice towards demons.

Alyss shifted, her wings still tightly folded up underneath her black shirt. Invisible to the naked eye, Alyss hoped. She glanced at the door as a girl entered, then a guy. The girl looked absolutely terrified to be in the room. An angel, scared by the mere presence of evil. How.... Quaint. Alyss could remember the legions of Warrior Angels; not afraid to tear down and get bloody. The two other angels in the room didn't seem like that type, not that she could tell much from the guy. Still, he didn't look like the fighting type. Had Heaven changed that much since her fall? She had become a Fallen thousands of years ago. Maybe they no longer fought, and that was why there was such an odd combination of angels and demons? Alyss sighed, hoping the missing two would get here soon so she could ivied out what was going on.

Rhiannon smirked as the guy leaned into her, "All talk, I bet." she said, challenging his words, as he sat back down. She then pulled herself away from the walls and walked around everybody, feeling their emotions, some there lack of, and getting to know everyone's presence using a spell. "Alright, whose up next?" she asked the ,now growing, group.
Rhiannon felt some shy souls, as well as some warriors. Her mood slowly shifted as she became more intrigued with everyone. "For those of you whom just entered, we are introducing our selves."
Rhiannon blew a small flame, in the general direction of the table, "Come on , now. Don't be shy." She smirked and stopped at the head of the table, sitting on top. She felt very....above...some of the angels, more powerful in her eyes. Maybe it was just her over-confidence, or maybe she was right. Only the Bosses knew.
Rhiannon laughed to herself, "We all came here from a letter. But as you introduce yourself, explain why you think you are here."
She crossed her right leg over her left, her mini skirt showing her thighs as she waited for someone to respond.

Rhiannon pointed to one of the shy angel girls with blonde hair and green eyes. "You! You go next." she said throwing out a flame for good measure. "What is your name, and why do you think we..or you are here?" Rhiannon shook her leg as she waited for a response, she got from the angel's presence that she was extremely shy and would not answer her questions well. "If you missed it, I am Rhiannon, Welsh Witch. And I have no patience, so it would be greatly appreciated if you answer quickly and thoroughly."

Victoria Delmina

Victoria was sitting on the balcony when she recieved the message. No doubt it appeared on a beautiful night. A nice full moon, a gentle breeze and... a bloody corpse that was fetched no earlier then an hour ago. Her red eyes studied it as the message was relayed to her. Curiosity and a bit of a annoyed hint was roaming through her mind. Yet no matter she dressed up, got her bags ready and rushed towards her destination. A bit in a hurry it may have seen yet, the only reason was because sunlight would most likely halt and sicken her. So suddenly the vampire arrived at the door knocking gently and gracefully waiting for one to open it.

"I'm glad a beautiful night such as this is still young which very well keeps a smile on my face and yet traveling far from my mansion, leaves me sadden. . . Mainly because I was called by it.." She spoke looking towards the moon until suddenly the door opened. A man well dressed bowed and spoke in a proper tone.

"Well met, Lady Delmina, please follow me." The butler spoke walking neatly deeper into the mansion. Victoria bowed and followed. Her hands over the other as she gracefully walked down the hall only to take a stop when the man directed her to her seat.

It was there when she noticed the others around them. Immediately once hearing a conversation between the two, Rhiannon and Damien. She cleared her throat not caring if anyone heard it or not. It was just a sign of disappointment and possibly uninterest. Victoria had her left leg crossed over her right, her hands gracefully in her lap and her face displeased. She looked over at the angels and then to the fallen even they seemed less annoying then those two but who was she to judge. She at least thought a first appearance may stray her to dislike them but they could be quite nice.

Victoria then spoke outloud towards everyone. She wasn't quite sure how they would take her intro but it would be a swell test in her mind.

"I, my dears am Victoria Delmina -- I hope we can work things out in a civil order with a high proficiency of diplomacy. That goes for everyone and not just you two."

Damien

Damien took a deep drag on his cigarette before lazily bringing a hand up to remove it from his mouth. He pursed his lips and let out several, perfectly formed smoke rings. The type that only came with years of practice. He watched as they floated towards the ceiling, and then dissipated. Self cleaning air courtesy of the Devil himself. Well, that was certainly new. And convenient. Damien flicked his cigarette in the vague direction of not near him, not caring where it landed. Just then the door opened and another girl swooped in.

"Another pretty chick? I like this ratio," Damien commented, winking at the woman. She looked a little uptight to him and the moment she began speaking he knew he was right. One of those ultra polite diplomatic types. He hated those kinds. Mainly because they usually didn't like a good tussle in the dirt. Didn't wanna get their fancy clothing dirty.

"Lots of fancy words in there, your highness. I don't think us commoners can understand you," Damien responded flippantly. He grinned at her, making sure to put as much stress on the words 'your highness' as possible. He'd probably just call her that for as long as they were forced together. Seemed like a good name as any, and Victoria Delmina was a bit of a mouthful.

Alyss

Alyss turned her cold, dead gaze on Rhiannon. The girl seemed to think she was in charge here. That she was holding some position of power by being the most talkative. Other then the flirty demon boy, Damien, over there. The thought almost amused Alyss. No one had power here. They had been summoned by God and, she was assuming, the Devil. Did they think their names mattered? Why they thought they were here mattered? All that mattered was the purpose God had brought them here for, nothing else. Normally Alyss wouldn't say anything, but she felt herself growing tired of Rhiannon's efforts to force the others into speech.

"You seem to believe," Alyss began, her voice level and empty, "That you are somehow powerful here. That you are in charge. I must tell you that you are sadly mistaken. If any of us in here wished to ignore, we could do so without consequences. You are not a threat. You are a nothing. Kindly stop acting as if you have power here."

Alyss turned her face away. Not once during the little speech did her voice or face change to reflect any emotion. She was not annoyed or angry. She was simply stating the facts. Alyss simply listened as someone else entered, Damien made a comment, and the woman introduced herself as Victoria Delmina. One person left, it seemed, and then they could go about their business once more.

Rhiannon blew out a large flame from her mouth , flowing over the table. "I never said I was in charge. I'm simply trying to get everyone to be polite and get to know everyone."
Rhiannon turned to Victoria "Pleasure to meet you Victoria, and as Damien said, I'm afraid we might not be able to understand your fancy talk." She sat down at her seat infront of the angel who had just confronted her, "I already introduced myself to everyone, and it apppears we are still waiting for someone, so i will once again introduce myself upon their arrival."She crossed her legs and placed her feet on the table, her black high heeled boots making a click as they landed on the table.(OOC: sorry its short and if there are any mistakes I am on my phone )

Evangeline looked up at the sudden command from the demon and uttered a small squeak of fear at the flame that appeared from the woman. She had been trying to keep to herself and avoid the attention of the occupents of the room but to no avail. ' My name is Evangeline.' She said in a small voice, angelic and pure in her shyness. This was completely new ground for her and she was not in her comfort zone all. She didn't even have anyone she could turn to for guidence as she had since her creation and deployment to earth. 'I...I don't know why we are here.' As she spoke another woman entered, making a scene. Then the black haired woman spoke up. Berating the demon for acting in charge. Thankful from the break in attention, Evangeline wrapped her arms around herself and took the moment to take a better look at everyonein the room. Why were they all here?

Victoria Delmina

"So i am here with pitiful low rankers?" She thought in her mind hearing what they had to say. In the vampire's mind, even one so simple should have known what she said. She could only sigh speaking as if she had shown pity and disappointment in the two. Victoria already felt they were unworthy and nothing to pay too much attention to unless need be. Had it not been needed for introductions, she probably would've skipped over finding herself a nice room to rest.

"Please allow me to make it easier for the 'pawn' and those who fit his low ranking standings. I hope that most things can be dealt without unneccessary bloodshed and we'll all be able to talk it out" Her tone was sharp but her posture remained the same. Victoria then sighed turning her head towards Evangeline with a grin. Victoria noticed the fear she had shown and tried to calm her with a different tone.

"Well met, Evangline" She said in a pleasant tone. After such she didn't feel the need to speak again and stoop her speech down to have others understand. It wasn't her fault nor problem the devil didn't choose those with more knowledge. She could only wonder how long she would remain here. Victoria moreso wanted to explore deeper by herself in the mansion before the sun came up and she slept. The architecture looked well made and such manners did everyone whom worked in the mansion had. Her eyes explored her surroundings only to come to a stop at the last person's given position. "I am guessing, we await the arrival of this acquaintance. I only hope he arrives soon" she thought. Victoria then thought of the question given. She thought she broke all ties with hell, doing her own thing and living among the race of man yet i guess you can escape the ruler's order too long. She didn't mind too much, Victoria herself did claim she was getting bored in her mansion.

"Dear God........ I am in a full load of trouble..." Harute said as he soared threw the sky at the speed of a jet plane. A few hours ago, he got a letter from God (yes... the creator and.. this is a little awkward but yes.. My Boss) to come to this mansion. However, with a little side tracking to do like a cat in a tree, a old granny infront of a running car and a guy dropping off a building saying "good bye cruel world!!" had made him a little late for his apointment. "Well, the most he might want is to go kill a surtain demon so..." Harute murmered as he finally landed on the mansion with a little crash.

"Am I so hoplessly late?" he asked frantically at the butler who had come to his side. "No sir.. you are a little (write little and read very) late then the others but if you shall follow me, I shall dead you to you destination." said the butler as he started for the mansion. "Ok..." Harute answered in a unsure voice. 'So God wanted me to come here where there is a strictly human butler in a strictly human mansion???? That's a little odd?' he thought as he followed the butler into a room.

The room was discribed (well at least in his turms) simply. The end of the world inside this small little room. There were angels and demons in pretty much even numbers in the room which is something you just rarely see, expecially if they are not firghting for dear life in the room. 'What is this... are we tring out to see what happens if angels and demons fight in a smaller scale before we do a full scale war???' Harute thought. There were three guys (know including him, 4), 2 devils and a angel. Then there were the 4 girls seperated into even numbers as half being demon and half being angels. As far as he could see, the green haired angel was about to attack one of the female devils or with a highly unlikely possibility, was saying hello... Seeing that he had one being that was in his state, he walked over to the male angel from the back and pocked him from the side.

"Sorry, I was late... What in the name of Jesus is going on???" he asked to the angel as he sat in the only remaining seat.

Damien

Damien had just been about to make a sarcastic comment that would include Rhiannon's 'fiery' temper, the weird Angel's cold attitude, and your highnesses rather stuck up way of talking when the door opened. He allowed his eyes to wander to the last in their little group. Damien kept watching the man as he moved into the room. Damien had come to the conclusion, like quite a few others, that something was bound to happen when that last chair was filled. After all, it certainly wasn't a mistake that they were all left waiting with only one chair left. And now the occupant of the chair was here and he was sitting and the bright light flooded the room.

Damien blinked several times until he could see the two orbs. The Devil he immediately recognized, of course, and had been expecting. That'd been the one to invite him after all. Damien had even been kind of suspecting God would show up too; after all, there were Angels here as well. Still, the presence of both of them together was enough to convince him to keep his trap shut as they spoke. After all, they didn't seem to be fighting or arguing. In fact... They were agreeing. Agreeing that they should stick four Demons and four Angels together in a mansion for a whole year. Were they insane? Did they not realize that this whole damned venture was going to end in a bloodbath? One which Damien would gleefully participate in, of course, but nonetheless probably not the end result the two were hoping for. Why did they have to go to such extremes about it? To Damien it seemed a little unnecessary, though he waited until the light had completely faded before he allowed himself to speak.

"Well, that's certainly one way to go about it," Damien commented. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. In the next moment there was one in his mouth and he was puffing away. Damien slid the objects back into his pockets and took a deep drag on the cigarette. It was a calming habit for him, not an addiction or anything like that. Weak Human substances like nicotine did not effect him.

Alyss

Alyss watched the interactions if those around her with undisguised amusement. She was old, far older then several of them. Alyss had seen many years and done many things. She had committed several minor sins, and the one major one that had gotten her kicked out of Heaven. Nothing could surprise her anymore. Alyss watched annoyance grow in Vidtoria's face when Damien and Rhiannon talked to her, and the way Rhiannon reacted to her comments. Such a childish Demon who cared much too much about the others in the room. Alyss ran a hand through her hair, wondering when they'd be let out of the room. Alyss needed to be free. Too much times in enclosed spaces destroyed her tranquility and made her freak our. Just as Alyss was thinking this a blinding light filled the room.

Alyss squinted and when her vision finally cleared two orbs were floating in the front of the room. Alyss immediately recognized her Lord, and assumed the red orb was the Devil. Why were they together? It made no sense. Taking turns the two awe inspiring powers explained their prescence in the mansion. Whenever God spoke Alyss felt a strange sort of peace take over her body. On the other hand, when the Devil spoke Alyss felt the overwhelming urge to jump up and fight someone. It was only the sense of power from the two orbs that kept her in her seat. The Devil gave a teasing farewell, the blinding light filled the room again, and the two orbs had disappeared. Alyss leaned back in her seat, her mind working double time. Permanent balance? Live with Demons for a year? Most importantly, why these eight? Why put such an annoying demon, like Damien, in the group if they hoped for peace? Or even someone as anti-social as herself?

"That was interesting," Alyss said into the momentary silence after the two orbs had disappeared. To everyone else in the room she would seem calm, under control. But confusion was clogging her mind and claustrophobia was beginning to take over. She needed to get out of that room soon. Without another word, Alyss stood and swept towards the door. She had no doubt that before the presentation she would've been unable to leave but now the handle gave way easily under her palm and she could slip out into the hallway. Alyss headed down the various corridors, searching for the exit. She needed to fly, to clear her mind.

The room filled with light and Rhiannon almost fell back from her seat, her legs swinging in mid air. Luckily she had grabbed the table and brought her self to proper sitting position. She could sense the Bosses' calm attitudes and was completely awestruck at their agreement. She would have to waste a year in here, instead of searching for Dagona (her ex-lover). She was completely mortified and was about to yell at them when their presence had her hold her tongue. Rhiannon was in tears and waited for the orbs to vanish before she got up in a pit of rage.

She knew the only way to calm her down was to sin, find a sinner, or fly for miles. She spat fire on the floor, watching it be absorbed into the flooring and collected her self. "Alright. Since we will be living here for a year, we have that time to get to know one another. At the moment however, I will be finding my room, so excuse me everyone. It was a pleasure to meet all of you." she looked over at Damien , "Some more than others." she winked at him.

Rhiannon left the room with a flirtatious strut, walking into the vast halls. She sighed and went to the entrance, finding the spiral stairs on either side. Rhiannon stood for a moment and went up the stairs closest to her and found a large master suite that was empty. She giggled at the chance to be her room's designer, she supposed this could hold her temper for a while. "House. I would like a black marker." she held her hand up, palm up and a marker appeared in her hand.
"Alright where to begin...."

When Rhiannon was done, the room was filled with Victoria-gothic furniture and large windows. Her walk in closet was filled with different styles of clothing, and her bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub, probably able to fit 8 or more people. She smiled at the size, and she giggled at the fun she had. Rhiannon walked on her black-bear rug imagining the Angel's faces when they saw one of their beloved creatures on the floor. She also took the time to add some snake and alligator accessories in her closet.

Evangeline nodded her head to the demon who civilly greeted her. From what she seemed the other two demons didn't like her. Maybe this one wasn't so bad? Suddenly another angel entered the room and filled in the last chair. Everyone seemed to be there, was something going to happen soon? Just as the thought crossed her mind, a bright light filled the room and she could feel the pressence of her lord in the room. His light filled her soul and she felt relaxed and calm, then she noticed the devils aura beside him. This confused the young angel. What were the two of them doing in the same room? Her heavenly creator, and he whom she was taught to hate since her creation a short while ago.

She listened as they talked, explaining what they were to do. A whole year with these creatures? No leaving whatsoever? Her eyes widened. Could she survive that long in a situation that was already tense in the short while they all have been in this room? Evangeline sat stunned at the announcement. A whole year. That would be almost a fourth of her life, as she had been created three years ago. The best plan for her then, was to stay under the radar. Her teacher had always told her the best way to get by as young as she was, to observe and watch more than act. That was what her first duty with the boy in the woodshop required her to do. Her teach would want her to spend her time learning more.

One of the others, the black haired girl who had the aura of a fallen, got up and practically ran out. Then the commmanding demon left too. Evangeline still sat there, considering whether or not she should leave too. She still felt like she didn't belonged there and was way out of her comfort zone. She gripped her arms and watched warily, waiting for more to leave so she could be sure she could too.

He had snapped out of his trance once God and the Devil had had made their presence known, and he looked over the other participants in the room, not being able to help his confusion. Elijah straightened his back, and let his hand fall from his face, where it was beginning to leave a sore spot in his cheek for leaning his weight onto his knuckles for far too long. Had they arrived while I was off somewhere? He couldn't shake off the feeling that perhaps that it was true, and that he had not caught their names. Bad impressions, indeed.

The blonde angel quickly looked each being over. A white haired male demon - a most obvious in appearance one, if he must add; a black haired female, who he strangely found quite familiar.. but his memory wasn't all that great, as he continued to exist throughout his very long life; a very wild-looking female devil with light colored hair as well (he could tell that this one was a free spirited and quite dangerous, he supposed, demon); a graceful and lady-like woman, who, had it not been for such dark clothing and the aura that she kept, despite class, he would've mistaken her for a dark angel, not a demonic-like creature; a mysterious-like, black and white coordinated demon, appearance also obvious; then a more gentle an yet innocent like angel (he didn't recognize her too much, so it was likely that she had a different class than he, as he could already tell that she was an angel); and finally, a white haired male angel, who, by the looks of him, Elijah could already recognized the presence of that of a Warrior angel, be his instincts often wrong or not.

However, after quickly looking over each being and determining their status, Elijah paid careful attention to what the two most powerful beings, of at the very least this very room and beyond, had to say. As they spoke, he kept fidgeting slightly, nervous about what all of this meant. Having four beings each of completely polar opposite existences coming here before their presence.. To balance it out? Why must it be an experiment? Would not their greater existences be able to know?

Elijah couldn't help how these thoughts came to a single conclusion: not even the greatest of Gods or beings know everything in the world, no matter how powerful or respectful, or kind, they may be. But he knows that his loyalty does not, and shall not ever waver for God. But the very idea of having he and seven others be a part of a.. 'trail run', was it? Well, the idea seemed rather.. mad. Completely, and as well as utterly, mad. What struck him the most odd was how they mentioned that they wouldn't step in to stop any fights or disputes that may, and most likely, occur, should they happen. The group will be stuck together for an entire year, and would have to either adjust to each other.. or kill each other.

It didn't settle well with him at all.

He merely quietly observed the others once the Great Two had left, and their presence was no longer clearly known in the room, and the other beings began to leave before he could pull himself together fast enough. It was slightly disturbing to know that he was to become accustomed to strangers and be used in terms of an.. 'experiment', but he'd treat it as it were a very serious mission, and just coexist with the demons and fellow angels as best as he could. As long as he didn't have to to strictly kill anyone, he would be able to manage.. he supposed.

Standing up quietly, he kept his arms to his sides, and bowed slightly, as he spoke softly, "if you will excuse me, I should go and find some personal time to think this situation over, if you wouldn't mind." Elijah pauses, and lets his smile not stretch too far, out of embarrassment. "Uhm, I wasn't able to properly introduce myself." He could feel his hand reaching for the back of his head. "It is of my apologies for that. Please, call me Elijah, as my given name. It is certainly lovely to meet all of you." He bows slightly forward again, and pauses again as others may or may not introduce themselves as well. "Hopefully, we will be able to coexist in a peaceful fashion.. but it's very unlikely, isn't it? Haha."

Once established, he excuses himself again to venture out into the corridor and takes custom to either climbing out of a window or walking out a door to breath in nature's fresh air and to merely relax, as he tried to calm the brewing thoughts that made out the storm of his mind. "Completely.. and utterly crazy." He sighs.

Damien

Damien took the last drag on his cigarette, having already reduced to thing to a stub. He flicked it away once more and let the smoke pour from his mouth in one final puff. Finally he kicked his feet down, having watched as as Rhiannon, the weird Angel, and finally the male Angel called Elijah left. It seems they were all eager to escape the room and he couldn't blame them. Keeping them together after spilling that news would've been way too volatile a situation, and he respected that some of them needed space. Damien... Well, all he could think about was the inevitable fight he'd get out of it. All in all it didn't seem like a bad time to him. Fighting, close quarters with hot chicks...

"Well, those of you who have yet to flee, I'm sure you'll all do so soon but let me be the first to say; they're completely insane and this is gone be fun," Damien said rather decisively. He stood and grinned at the occupants, adding in a wink for the quiet Angel. When his gaze finally landed on your highness, Damien swept her a deep bow that was as mocking as a bow could be. "Well, your highness, it certainly has been a pleasure." With that final teasing comment he moved towards the door and walked out. Once on the outside he paused and glanced around, wondering where to go first. He was bored and that Rhiannon girl had seemed fairly interesting. Damien sniffed the air and caught her scent. With an almost feral grin, Damien headed off in that direction until he found a door. Without even bothering to knock, Damien pushed the door open and looked inside. What he saw made him whistle.

"Really spruced the place up, didn't you?" Damien commented, casually leaning against the doorframe. He smirked as he took in the Victorian design, the huge closet, and all the dead animals strewn about the room. She didn't have bad taste, he had to give her that.

Rhiannon felt Damien coming up the stairs and to her room. She has the feeling he would barge in, and he did. She was not surprised or mad, just half annoyed at her self for actually hoping he would. She looked at her self in the mirror then looked back at the rude demon with a smirk. She decided not to lecture him about knocking, she didn't care.
"Thanks, thought the angels would appreciate the critters." she laughed. She walked closer to him and sat on the edge of her blood red Victorian styled couch "So, what brings you here? Couldn't resist me, could you?" she said flirtingly laughing.
She had grown interested in the obnoxious demon. She was curious about him and wanted to learn more about him. Maybe she was trying to distract herself, maybe it was just the new situation, but if what she felt was what she thought, she could say she was slightly attracted to him. Why? She didn't know. By now she would have been so angry with herself that she would go flying, but she wasn't now. She was still flirty. This confused her.

Victoria Delmina

Although Victoria was somewhat awaiting a sarcastic remark from the "Pawn", that suddenly was amiss when the door crept open and entered the last aqcuaintance making a soft entrance. She studied the white haired angel as he made his way towards his seat. The vampire wasn't very interested but it was good to get a face when you're in the same room. Victoria clapped lightly in joy to see this meeting would finally be set in motion. After everyone was seated the two dieties entered.

Victoria listened but honestly was unimpressed by the speech and instructions the two dieties relayed to her. She didn't have any interest to take part in their "game" but knew she had no power to go against it. The vampiress shook her head. She meant it when she wanted nothing to do with both heaven or hell and would rather go about her own ideals then serve under another. Victoria knew no matter how rebellious she could seem, she was still stuck here unless she were to fight against minions of heaven or hell which was unappealing to her. Naturally Victoria was stuck here and she figured she might as well get use to it.

When the others left it appeared to be only four including Victoria remaining. She honestly felt like just returning and seeking her dark quarters to shun herself from the others but just couldn't bare seeming rude. Victoria looked to Evangeline, so scared, so shy, and so out of comfort no one couldn't see such trembling inside. The vampiress sighed and gave a warm smile standing up and walking to her stopping at a arms length, her arm extended in a friendly matter. She than spoke in a polite and gentle tone towards her.

"Well met, Evangeline, as i will say again. . . I could not yet bare to notice you are practically shaking in fear for say. As it may be late and the night is still quite young as one may know, might you be interested in having cheesecake, wine or tea with me in my quarters on the balcony so we're outside in the night air? I would like to assure i mean no harm by such and unlike the pawn that walked out or the other demon - I honestly have no interest in quarreling between our races, unless forced to" She spoke her eyes looking towards her awaiting her reply.

Re: Strages Mansion

Well I'm done with this rp - good luck all.

Re: Strages Mansion

Agreed. Why give up on something you started, have control over, and have other people willing to join in on. Its lazy and unfair to other rp'ers.

Re: Strages Mansion

Sad, this was such a good RP too...

Re: Strages Mansion

And this my friends is how generally RPs die. . . I'm beginning to debate if i should wait or just stop myself and quit this rp.

It's one thing to not post but give a heads up if you're too stressed out to reply as a game master
and another to come on complete everyday, not give a heads up and seemingly create other characters/join other role-plays. Which is what i am seeing from our Game-master. I mean - I don't mean to sound cruel because i honestly don't know whats going on with him but yeah from experiencing the scenario from other GMs and from what i see from how he is getting on each day. thats what i am coming up with for a conclusion.

Re: Strages Mansion

Well, we'll just have to sit tight then, and hopefully, Cookies'll come back ASAP.. (:

Re: Strages Mansion

And I have to wait until Cookie...well I could go about she got frustrated and went back into human form, but I'm really looking for the fight so I'm just going to wait.

Re: Strages Mansion

I'm waiting for some others to finally if not at least Cookie's reply - I wonder if they are having complete writers block - that includes Cookie being the head the RP and 2 characters of the opposing side which one needs more attention too.

Also Harute and Neej kinda just disappeared after awhile...

Re: Strages Mansion

Its okay, Thanks.

Re: Strages Mansion

Sure i'll edit it up a little - Sorry i misread it.

Re: Strages Mansion

Hey, Reveries and Usui, Evangeline is still on the balcony asking Victoria what was going on, she didn't fly down or anything. Do you want to change your posts or should I just write around that.

Re: Strages Mansion

.. I shall suffocate either way then. XD

And food? I speak not of the material food, but rather, the imaginary likeliness of that of Epic Meal Time! .. And then afterwards, material food. Haha.

Re: Strages Mansion

What if the balloons are rubber? o:

Re: Strages Mansion

Clowns are creepy...

Food? Bah, what is this food you speak of? I have no need of sustenance!! I LIVE ON CUTE VIDEOS OF KITTENS!! The internet is all I shall ever need!!!

Re: Strages Mansion

... LOL. My bad. I have requirements to eat, y'know. Please, feel free to do so. I enjoy more casual conversations. :D
.. But, gah! Don't attack me with balloons! ; n ;
But as long as they don't have clowns on them, I hope to not die by suffocation of helium-filled aluminum objects. .. o u o;;

Re: Strages Mansion

That sounds suitably cute and flirty enough for Damien to take part without getting serious XD

Revvvvvvvv!!!!! Come here and feel the pain of the ballooons!!

Also, do you mind me calling you Rev? If not I can understand since it does kinda sound like I'm talking about a car... You know, rev the engine and stuff... I do three periods a lot XD

Re: Strages Mansion

Re: Strages Mansion

Re: Strages Mansion
