The princess was still upset, but the girl named Alis assured her that she didn't think ill of them. This cheered her up a bit and she smiled, thanking her. Before another word could be put in though, a boy rushed in and embraced the two. She assumed this was the missing member of their trio as they had described it. Cole, as Alis confirmed. He then looked over at her, Micheal, and Martin and greeted them. "Hello Cole!" she said cheerily, her mood brightening again. "My name is Valencia and I'm here to help you."

Upon glancing behind him, she noticed that somebody was leaving. Whoever it was had successfully saved Cole from any trouble and guided him to his friends. So where were they going? She was about to speak up when Martin walked over to stand closer to her and Micheal.

Valencia was displeased with his lack of trust as well. She honestly couldn't tell him the whole truth if she wanted to, which had been fine up until now. There hadn't be an event of this size when they were traveling before. She had bothered a few people, yes, but none of them seemed to have the care to question them. "Why?" she whined softly as Micheal began to explain to the best of his abilities. His explanation of her innocent guess that these people were from a far off world, for their seemed no possible way that they were from some uncharted country, was on the ball. He also knew her well enough to say that she was a curious child, if not a benevolent one. Her position in Thania allowed her to help whom she wanted and most in her country did not shy away. She loved her people and they loved her and her family.

She nodded as Micheal finished. "I like adventure and traveling," she added. "I can see why you wouldn't trust us, as we are but strangers to you and to them. But every stranger has a tale to tell, and a quest to accomplish. I haven't found my quest yet, so I wish to help others fulfill theirs. Do you do the same?" She was curious to know more about him as well, as to why he had decided to help these girls as well when he could have easily walked away and discredited them as demons or insane.

Michael Maxwell

"Who are you really?"
"By the Divines, you aren't siblings. You look nothing like each other! And what's this about another world? What do you know about them that nobody else does? Why are you so willing to help complete strangers; if they really are strangers to you? If you want me to, I'll stay quiet about the truth, but maybe if you'd been more honest Winsley would have trusted you."

Questions threw to them by the young man named Martin had Michael bring his guard up. Any moment possible that he does something suspicious, he will have his sword up his throat. He threw a glance over to the princess, trying to tell her it'll be fine, as after that he returned his sight onto the man in front of them. His left hand already on the holsters to ready for a draw. He answered the questions in a low volume, a tone of voice that emitted precaution and a speed that says that Michael is choosing words enough to not let any of their deeper secrets to be known.

"I shall answer you questions, young man, so please calm down." He tried to calm the tension of the conversation. He breathed in a huge amount of oxygen, before proceeding to answer all the questions he was thrown at. "You can call us travelers of the world if you want to, as we travels around the world, hungering for knowledge." He placed a palm to his chest. "As a fellow traveler, we have already grasp the basic knowledge of the customs of each country, as we will need to blend in with the cultures in order to avoid attention. Judging with my small enough knowledge and the young lady's clothes, I can somehow assume that the young lady is from a different country, if not world." Slowly, his gentle smile dies. "Valencia here have the tendencies of helping people in need, as for her personality allows. This is but a fact that shows she has a great future ahead of her. As her brother, I have a duty to prevent any danger that might befall her, even if caused by her nature to help others." He let out all the breath remaining in his body in a sentence. "Any further information will require the permission from my sister in order for me to tell you anything."

Martin Silverwood

As Martin got closer to the girl she began to weep and sniffle loudly. Once she realised he was approaching, she hugged her knees in a vice-like grip and sat there, motionless.
"Miss? Are you all right, Miss?"
She curled up into an even tighter ball once she had heard him and stopped breathing. It was as if she was waiting for him to strike her. She was obviously in a terrible state, most likely insane. Still, that didn't mean that Martin should leave her curled up in a ball and crying by the roadside.

She remained silent for a while, and Martin was beginning to wonder if she had not heard him or if she was simply ignoring him. He was just about to ask her again, but she did eventually reply.
"I-I'm f-f-fine. Why are you h-here?"
She spoke in a hushed voice and seemed to have great difficulty pushing the words out of her mouth; her jaw shook uncontrollably as she spoke, causing her to stutter. She had a very peculiar accent, unlike any other Martin had over heard before. Maybe she was Dharan. Martin quickly threw away the thought, while he had never spoken to a Dharan and so had no idea of what they sounded like, he knew they had much darker complexions, and they certainly didn't have hair as bright as hers.

The peculiar way in which the girl spoke almost made Martin forget what she had actually said. It took him a second or so to remember. She had told him she was fine, and asked why he was there. What funny thing to ask. The fact that she had just blatantly lied to him didn't make him think any more of her, either.
"You quite obviously aren't." Martin replied, "And I'm on my way out of Kalistos."
She was still hugging her knees tightly and not looking at him, so he walked around and knelt down in front of her in an attempt to get her to make eye contact with him. Maybe she would realise he wasn't to be scared of. He tried to get a look at her face, but she was still hiding it with her legs.
"I think I could ask you the same question." Martin told her, "What are you doing by the roadside, crying to yourself like a scared child who's lost her mother? It isn't safe, you could get attacked and robbed; you're obviously an easy target."

Earth -----> Outside Kalistos

There were three of them. There had always been three of them, almost since the beginning, when she first moved to the States. They had always, always been there for her, just as she had always been there for them. It was a rare occurrence to see any of them apart, and when one did, in fact, see such a shocking event, one would know that something was not right. The three were as close as could possibly be, and with Winsley there to watch out for the other two, they would often find trouble, yet somehow remain unharmed and, well, not in trouble by their superiors.

The day that Cole received his grandfather's diary was the day that everything changed. She continued to insist that it was worth it to actually take the journal seriously, but he laughed her off for a few weeks, until finally he allowed her to translate the dialect that her grandfather had written in, and had allowed her to help him understand the riddles, maps, and other various, difficult items in the book. When she had finally gotten her hands on the journal, she wouldn't let it out of her sight. She took it home with her, and spent every second she could spare on it.

The night that they had finally broken through the entire journal, was the night that they followed the map, and the night everything went to shit.

They followed the map, and when they reached the end of the line, it was to find a gem, that captivated them. However, she retained her mental state, and attempted to explain to her friends that they should not act hastily, before they uncovered how the gem actually worked. Before she could do so, Cole had already hurried over to pick it up, sending them into an odd, otherworldly universe. That was the last thing she remembered.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was far too bright for it to still be night. As she slowly awoke, Winsley grew aware of this fact. It was night just a few minutes ago ... How long was I out? She shoved her arm over her eyes and rolled over with a groan, doing anything she could to block out the sunlight. Her head was pounding and her stomach flipped, causing her to swallow back bile. She grimaced at the taste, but kept her eyes closed, not ready to yet climb out of bed and face the world.
It was then that she noticed that she was not in bed, but was laying instead in what could only be grass.
"What in the Hell ...?" she murmured, slowly blinking open her eyes. Her face was in the soft blades, her nose pressing into dirt. She must have been really out of it not to notice that her face was shoved in dirt and grass. She coughed a little as she pushed herself onto her knees, rubbing her face with her arm, itching her nose and eyes, and she finally mustered up the courage to look around her.
And that was the largest mistake of her life, for as soon as she did, she felt panic swell up inside of her. Immediately her heart began to hammer in her chest, her breathing increased in speed, and she felt her body begin to tremble. She had no idea where she was.
Winsley pushed herself up and onto her feet, where she clenched her hands into fists at her sides and forced herself to calm down. "Calm ... Slow, deep breaths ... You are okay, Wins, you are okay ..." she murmured, beginning to pace and rubbing her temples in the process. Her red blouse with pink and black lace, along with black bows, only caused her to become warm far too quickly for her liking. She loosened the neckline and one of the bows. Luckily for her, she still wore her pink and black-laced mini-skirt, so her legs remained cool. Her mid-knee-high boots stuck to her skin from her sweat, and she lifted her hair in on hand, peeling it away from her neck in an attempt to cool the back of it.
"It is far too hot for me to think ... I am hot, I am hungry, I am thirsty, and I am thoroughly exhausted due to my headache. I haven't a clue as to where I am, or even what time it is. All I know is that I am lost, and the last thing I remember is Cole touching the gem and me screaming for him ... Not ... To ..." she trailed off and stopped her pacing, her eyes widening. "The diary! The gem!" she cried, her hands flying up to frame the sides of her face.
She dropped to her knees and let her forehead fall to the ground, her eyes closed, her fists beside her head, and she let out a groan. "No ... Cole ... Alessandra ..." she groaned the three words, her hands flattening out into the grass. "Sono così spaventato... Che cosa dovrei fare...?" she murmured.
She remained like that for quite a while, before she finally pulled herself up to stand. She wiped at her wet eyes and sniffed a little. "At least I remember everything from Cole's book, everything about this world," she said quietly.
