Derrick James Peterson's Story

"Time to wake up, Simone!"
A loud, male voice shouts. Toni covers her head with a pillow, as Kyle, her adoptive Father yanks open the curtains, letting in the rays of sunshine.
"Get out!"
Toni shouts, throwing her pillow at him.
"You better be up when I come back,"
He chuckled. Once he closed the door, Toni immediately got up and yanked the curtains shut. She looked around at her room, and frowned.
Same room. Same life. Same house. Same parents.
Toni didn't like anything about her life, well except one thing...She snuck out almost everyday, and meet with her three other friends...She rehearsed with them. They have always dreamed of starting a band, and going on a world tour...or at least she did.
Her room was decorated with a wardrobe, right across from her huge bed, with teal covers, and white pillows, and white sheets. The bed frame is a tanish color, as is the wardrobe. There was also a desk next to the wardrobe, with a mirror above it. On the left side of the wardrobe, there was a door leading to a small bathroom. On the right side of the wall, there was a huge window, with teal curtains. The left side just had a door, that lead to a hallway. The walls were painted a dark red, the ceiling was just a plain white color.
Toni marched over to the wardrobe, and slipped on one of her favorite outfits---

She brushed her hair, and teeth, then headed out of her room, and to the kitchen for breakfast. She had a quick bowl of cereal, and when she was done, she yelled out,
"I'LL BE IN MY ROOM! LEAVE ME ALONE!"
Right before she looked the door to her room, and crept out the window.

Jenna carefully started her warm-ups. She started with a simple song, then some harder ones, then started to practice the song that they were playing. She loved to played the drums, and she thought that the band was a great idea. She knew that if they worked hard enough, they could be great. For now, they were just trying to get all set up.

Keith groaned as he woke to the sounds of drums. He looked at the clock.
"Crap!" He muttered. He dragged himself out of bed and picked out a simple outfit. He quickly grabbed a piece of toast to eat and his guitar. He ran next door and opened the door with the key that all the band members had.
"Hey-o!" He cried. Jenna was doing her warm-ups, and looked up and smiled, but kept on playing.
"Still waiting?"
"Yep. I'm surprised you're the first one here," Jenna commented.
"Miracles happen," Keith set up his guitar.

(Or we could ask him to give him up and one of us could adopt him, preferably you. He could be bringing news about the producer or something, I don't know)
"You can hope!" Keith groaned.
Jenna rolled her eyes.
"I'm sure he overslept or something! I'll call him right now," Jenna dialed his number.

[I am just going to use his Character. No point in making another when we can tag him.]


Derrick moaned. A small ring could be heard. He yawned, and sat up...Someone was calling him. He picked up the phone,
"Hello?"
He mumbled.

(Alright!)
"DERRICK! COME ALReADY!" Jenna whined.

Toni cheered.
"HE ANSWERED!!!"

"Wha--Jenna? What are you--"
Derrick looked at the clock.
"Ohh. I'll be right there..."
He hung up the phone, and trudged over to his dresser. He picked out a pair of dark jeans, and a plaid shirt. She grabbed a quick bowl of cereal, and rushed over to Jenna's place.

"Sorry, overslept!"

Keith grinned as Derrick came in.
"Dude, next time, don't sleep in! I had to talk to these two!"

Toni smirked.
"It's too bad. I still hope there was a bomb in that package..."
She trailed off and looked at Jenna.
"What?"
Derrick asked, glancing at Jenna.

"IT's a joke," Jenna took the wrapped gift containing the new amp and handed it to Derrick.
"for you,"

"Wow! How did you afford this stuff?"
Derrick gawked.

"Death of long lost family members gives you a pretty good wad of money,"

"Ahhhhhhh."
Derrick smirked.
"Hey, I had an idea in mind,"
Toni then pointed out.
"Maybe we could try to do a video, and be internet stars..."
She trailed off.

Keith practically fell over.
"Toni, the way you say it sounds kind of..." He snapped his fingers.
"I'm surprised you even know enough words to say that sentence,"
Keith crossed his arms.
"Shut up,"
"I think the word you're looking for is ambitious,"
"Yeah! What does that mean?"
"How did you even pass kindergarten?"

Toni laughed.
"I think they felt sorry for him,"
Derrick crossed his arms.
"That's a bit mean,"
"But it's true!"
Toni threw her hands up in the air.

Jenna laughed.
"Lighten up Derrick, we're just teasing him, after all, smarts isn't his best area of expertise,"
Keith clapped Derrick hard on the back.
"You'll get used to it. We should practice now, if we're ever going to internet stars, we better sound awesome!"

"Exactly!"
Toni cheered.
Derrick smiled.
"Okay, what song?"

"I don't know! Um..." Jenna snapped her fingers.

[Who picks?]
Toni thinks, as does Derrick...

(I don't know, I don't know a good song name,)
"Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm," Keith muttered. Suddenly he lit up.
"I KNOW!" He started to play a familiar song on his guitar. Jenna grinned and joined in.

[Ooh, I got one!]


"FALLEN ANGELS!"
Toni sang the tittle, and joined in. Soon, Derrick did too.
