Power:
Enhanced Dexterity – Elinor is capable of controlling her movements and muscles, this keeps her from falling or otherwise being clumsy. She’s much like a cat in the fact that she rarely falls and when she does she lands on her feet. Able to control her fingers and toes individually she is truly ambidextrous.
Celerity - Superhuman speed is another gift that Elinor possesses. She can move far faster than your average human. Though she still moves at subsonic speeds her ultimate goal is to break the sound barrier.
Strengths:
Clever – Speaks French – Lock Picker – Forgery Artist – History – Gymnastics – Disguises – Accents - Performing
Weaknesses and Flaws:
Math – Eavesdropper – Instigator – Occasionally Obnoxious – Manipulative – Jaded – Prone to pulled muscles and strained tendons – Turning corners while running
Sharing Our Desires

Running – Pranks – Laughing – Horror Movies – Turtles – Singing – Performing – Being the center of attention – History – Music – Money – Fashion – Boys – Flirting Recklessly – Parties – Drive-ins
Dislikes:
Driving – Being Ignored – Silence – Boredom – Being told to grow up – Snitches – Getting Caught – Naiveté – Rain – Sitting Still
Hobbies:
Performing – Elinor is quite the ham and loves to perform for other people. She loves to sing, dance and act and was often in school plays and community theatre productions when she had the opportunity.
Athletics – Being the daughter of Hermes has gifted Elinor with attributes suited to a more athletically inclined life. She started gymnastics when she was four and recently gave it up due to loss of interest though she still works out in the gym for fun. Track was also something Elinor loved to participate in until she decided that she wouldn’t trade on her unfair advantage.
Fears:
Bugs – Hitting something while running full speed which would probably equal death – Her tendons snapping or bones breaking from misuse – Being Alone/Ignored/Unimportant
Secrets:
Elinor’s mother is a grifter, otherwise known as a con woman and until Elinor’s arrival at the academy she was a willing pawn/accessory to her mother’s schemes. Stealing identities, forging checks and shoplifting was the way they made a living until Hermes demanded she be sent away to school.
In-Depth
Personality:
Elinor is quite the handful according to most people. It seems as if she’s always “on”, always performing for the masses. It’s hard to take her seriously because you’re never sure when she’s being serious or just melodramatic. Extremely extroverted, Elinor prefers the company of large groups to anything else, especially being alone.
She’s very funny and always has a quip or one liner to add to a conversation. With excellent comedic timing she also has an affinity for playing practical jokes on the unsuspecting rank and file. Occasionally her best judgment isn’t put to use and her jokes verge into malicious territory. At times she feels guilt about the embarrassment she might have caused a fellow student but for the most part once the joke’s over Elinor has all ready moved onto the next one.
For someone so outgoing and full of life Elinor is very private, especially when it comes to her past. Although not exactly ashamed of her past misdeeds she knows that some people would only see that they’d been right about her. An opportunist who didn't care who she hurt to get what she wants. She can be so much more than that; vivacious, welcoming and occasionally even sweet and loving if you can get her to let her guard down.
So while she may not share all of her deepest darkest secrets with you it doesn’t mean Elinor doesn’t like you. Elinor starts off liking everyone she meets until they prove themselves unworthy, usually by being uptight and judgmental. She detests naivete and gullibility in others and considers such people prime targets. If she didn’t toughen them up for the real world, who would?
The Past Defines Us
History:
.Elinor grew up an only child of a single mother and spent her formative years learning the family trade. Which happened to be conning people out of their money any which way they could. Elinor’s mother, Grace was a pro and was adept at gaining people’s trust and then turning around and abusing it. Grace was an excellent forger and shoplifter, traits she made sure her daughter also possessed.
Elinor spent her childhood roaming the country with her mother, taking their schemes from town to town never staying long enough to make friends or put down roots. There was never enough time to go to gymnastics or play in the park, it was always business all the time until it was time to flee to the next city to start over again.
It was shortly after her fifteenth birthday that Elinor was caught shoplifting…again. She didn’t know why she kept frequenting this store with their pervasive security cameras, maybe she wanted to get caught. She wasn’t sure what her motives were all she knew now was that she was actually being arrested and that hadn’t been part of the plan.
While she was processed she was put into a room to wait for a guardian which seemed bizarre to Elinor. It was usually do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars go directly to jail. What she didn’t know was that her father had finally decided to make an appearance. It wouldn’t do to have a child of his in the juvenile court system and to be perfectly honest he was quite disappointed in her mother.
Hermes explained to Elinor that he had met her mother and had immediately been taken with her, she was beautiful, clever and vivacious. Of course like all gods he couldn’t stay and was long gone before Grace even realized she was pregnant, the only reason for his sudden involvement was to save Elinor from the disgrace of juvenile court and to demand that she be sent away to a school of his choosing which just so happened to be the Academy.

Wanderlust || Metric
"The Wanderlust"
I've been sleepwalking
Through the railway station
Wake me up
When they call my destination
Where I've been
I was bound to leave behind
All device and all disease was mine
I'm speeding out of reach
Oh, you're the one I had to meet
I never wanted to go home
Wanderlust will carry us on
There was nothing there for me
Wanderlust will carry us on
In a high rise on my own
I've been ...highways for so long
Looking out in a mirrored balcony
Wanderlust will carry us on
Will there ever be a place for you and me?
Wanderlust
I'm rolling in for a seven day weekend
Living up again to my old reputation
Can you cover me?
Cause I got no armor
Keep on moving down the line
Keep on going further
I'm speeding out of reach
Oh, you're the one I had to meet
I never wanted to go home
Wanderlust will carry us on
There was nothing there for me
Wanderlust will carry us on
In a high rise on my own
I've been...highways for so long
Looking out at a mirrored balcony
Wanderlust will carry carry carry us on
I don't know where to go now, I got nowhere to hide
Nowhere to go, nowhere to be
I don't know where to go now, I got nowhere to be
Oh, wanderlust will carry us on
Walk fifty city blocks down but they always find us
Wanderlust will carry us on
Will there ever be a place for you and me?
Wanderlust will carry us on
Will there ever be a place for you and me?
