Being Demi-Gods
Godly Parent:
Apollo
Power:
Jason has the ability to heal people to a certain extent. He can only speed the healing up only a little bit, but he can guarantee that the wound won't become infected or get worse. Small cuts and scrapes he can heal easily with a bit of light nearby as that helps him in the process. Jason also has the power to be able to play any instrument he wants rather easily though he is a natural at guitar and piano, so he doesn't often play anything else. He can sing but not at the level his brother can and doesn't have the same abilities involving it. Jason, like all Apollo children, is gifted in archery and is almost unmatched by his half siblings with the exception of his full brother Jordan.
Strengths:
Guitar
Piano
Instruments
Writing Music
Archery

Jokes
Comebacks
Jason is only able to heal people when they are in sunlight as he can get sick or light headed and dizzy if he does it in an unlit area. Jason is better with his brother for some reason, even in things such as healing. In one case, when Jordan was with Jason, Jason was able to heal a cut completely and fully as they had been in the sun and side by side with each other.
Weaknesses and Flaws:
Taking criticism
Poetry
Using javelins when needed
Cooking
Fessing up to things he did
Tight Spaces
Cats
Dark or unlit areas can make things difficult for Jason as he needs light around him. He isn't afraid of the dark, but he is uneasy in it and can make him be more on edge and unpredictable. When he's far away from Jordan, Jason can feel it and can get sick or rendered unable to use his powers. Jason has been known to feel Jordan's wounds just as strongly, the same with Jordan.

In-Depth
Personality:
Jason, between the brothers, was more school smarts as he was gentle in his approach and less extreme. He wouldn't leave you behind and wouldn't hurt you but he won't not take a chance to crack a joke... Even if it is rather terrible and makes no sense to some people. Jason never loved school though he never disliked it as he knew it was an important thing and that he was very privileged to go to a school at all. Jason will speak his mind even if it isn't always what people want or expect to hear but he tries to "sugar coat" the news a bit. He shares everything with his brother and has never kept a secret from him except that time with Lisa...
Jason has always loved playing music growing up and is a rather easy going person, not really wanting to do too much yet not wanting to do nothing. He will do everything he believes to be worth it to the maximum, careful not to mess up. He usually fails in that goal as he likes to do unpredictable things (he thinks them through a bit more than Jordan) and will probably do something unexpected that will mess up other peoples plans though he is always on board with his brother even when they don't discuss what they'll do. James is not a very judging person but once he has his opinions, they very rarely change.
Jason never believed he would ever have a dark past when he was extremely young and was very affected by his mother's death. He didn't know what to do and neither did his brother, so the two just didn't do anything after it, still stunned and not sure how to handle anything. They both then got into the habit of laughing off insults and pulling pranks, being even closer than close as they now realized that they were all they had left. The two twins got into trouble though they didn't care much as they believed they didn't have much else to loose until after the event with the foster system.
Jason is there for people when they need him, though he will never be as strong and capable to protect people as Jordan is as he believes that if he isn't careful he could be the result of one's pain. Jason is not sure whether he wants to meet his father or not as he is unsure whether or not the man will be what he expected and hoped, having reasons that would justify his nonexistence in the boys' lives.
The Past Defines Us
History:
Jason and Jordan Brooks were born on February 14, 1997 to Olivia Brooks and the Greek god Apollo. Olivia Brooks was a alcoholic and abusive mother as she had been abandoned by her love at the time, Apollo. She took all her pain and anger out on her two young sons as she knew who their father was and didn't want them to be around though she didn't want to give up her opportunity of revenge.
The boys would more often than not go to school with bruises that were hidden by make up their mother made them use. Jason and Jordan endured their mother's abuse for five years, not quite sure that it was not what mothers were supposed to do. They weren't allowed to do anything outside of their house including playing outside when it was daytime, meaning the boys wouldn't play outside for their disliking of the dark.
When Jordan told Jason a week before their birthday what would happen to their mother, Jason was terrified. He didn't want to see the only figure in their life gone, but he didn't want to keep feeling the pain that she brought. He stayed up all night, hoping to figure out his feelings and in the end, decided that he would wait, watch, and decide when the time came.
When the twins birthday's came alone, the day changed their lives forever. It had began as their birthdays usually did, with them waking up early to go to school only to come home to endure their mother's harsh hand. The different part of the torturous day was that night. Jason was with his brother, the two practicing a song for their school's musical, Jordan singing and Jason playing an old guitar the teacher let him borrow, when their mom began screaming for them to come downstairs.
The twins both went to down, fearful that if they didn't something bad would happen. Jason wasn't sure what was going on, but could tell by the feeling Jordan was giving off it was worse than they thought. Their mother stood in the kitchen, a container of the medication from Jordan's seeing in her hands. "Do you know what these are?" She asked the two young boys. Neither responded as they didn't know what to say. Their mother smiled at them as if she had won. "They're my ticket away from you devils. You both killed me," She told them, then swallowed the medications.
The boys stood there, never having been told what to do in such a situation and watched as their mother smiled one last time at them in her evil way, then collapsed, not breathing. The two young boys then finally remembered and got the phone, calling the police who then came. The twins were led away from the house and never saw the place again, bouncing around in the foster home system. The boys grew up in varying foster homes as they were moved often thanks to their trouble making.
Around the age of twelve, the twins encountered a terrible problem. They were no longer given the option to stay together and were told they were going to be separated as people were only wanting to take in one child at the time. The boys refused and on their last night in their last foster home, they ran together. The boys made their way south, unsure where else to go.
When they reached DC, the two were encountered by a problem. They encountered their first monster, a rather large cat that scarred them forever. The two went through a fight with the creature and in the end, were both nearly killed before being saved by a rather kind man who they later learned was a demi-god. The man told the two he could tell they were demi-gods as well and took them in.
Now, years later, the two are going into their third year at the academy.
Other: Jason is willing to do anything and everything for his brother whether it be stupid or not, no matter what the consequences.
