Ryoka's regenerative abilities are said to be on par to a purebloods, being able to heal almost instantaneously, however; she cannot regenerate anything such as lost limbs or appendages. Theoretically, she could heal herself and repair this damage, however; to what extent is unknown. She's never had a reason to do such things. An odd, and strange ability she has is something similar to rejection. Basically, in some senses, she can reject reality, restoring something to its original state. This ability was linked to her healing abilities, but further testing would have proven beneficial. Another odd ability of hers is the manipulation of ice and its subsidiaries such as water and moisture. To what extent, however, has never been found out. She's only ever used it once, and that was a long time ago. She is also proficient in hand-to-hand combat, having been taught by Ichimaru. There is another ability of hers, one linked to the consumption of her blood, but Ichimaru is the only one who actually knows what it is. And he isn't exactly keen on telling anyone.

Ryoka is the first, and only, Dhampir in existence. Her creation baffled the scientists who created her, thinking that she would be more like Ichimaru, however; she was nothing like him. She was an experiment much like he was, and her results were different enough for them to take interest. Something about the genetics that were used in her sample, altered her DNA. One of the samples used were of undetermined origins - and while there was speculation of what exactly they were, it was never proven. But the fact is, Ryoka is the result of splicing the DNA from the Queen's unborn child with a flower and the blood of one of the most powerful pureblood families. The unborn child, however, did not belong to the King. This result has manifested in her strange abilities, but mostly the exotic scent she gives off. If sin had a physical manifestation, she would be it. She smells like indulgence to not only other vampires - it is worse when her blood is actually exposed - but to humans as well. It can be intoxicating to some, and those who have just a sliver of her blood, become addicted. This happened once when she was but a child, and one of the vampiric scientists indulged. He nearly killed her, and would have if it weren't for Ichimaru. She was given the number six - this being her name until it changed.

Ryoka is the embodiment of all that is ethereal. She is the snow covered tundras, beautiful, serene, calm, and appealing to all the senses, however; she is also the storm that ravages everything in its path. She is as blunt as a dulled blade, and as sarcastic as they come. Perhaps it is because of how she was raised, but there seems to be something empty behind her, as if she were trapped in an endless glass case of melancholy. This is not the case, of course, and despite being rather blunt and straightforward, there is an inherent shyness about her. Some have mistaken this shyness as a sign of being coldhearted and void of any emotions, however; Ichimaru can attest that her emotions are very powerful and can borderline addiction. When she is affectionate, it is given in the most intimate of ways, and when she is enamored or enraptured by something, the light in her eyes seem almost as bright as the sun.
Despite this outward appearance of beauty and calm, Ryoka is rather dry in her choice of words. She was always expected to answer directly, truthfully, and that is what was burned in her to this day. She will not lie, however; that doesn't exactly mean she'll also answer any questions directed towards her. If someone asks something she considers personal, she remains silent, and the aura that surrounds her becomes dark and suffocating. To be sure, Ryoka can be a frightening individual, even if her appearance might not seem intimidating. She acknowledges that she is a predator; that she is, essentially, a monster in the form of something divine and beautiful, crafted for a single purpose. But these are just minor details, and she does not act on those.
In reality, Ryoka just doesn't care. Apathetic at best, is perhaps, the proper way of describing her, but even that assumption would be somewhat wrong. There is just very little that Ryoka cares about, however; the few things she does care about, she tends to protect in an aggressive manner. This has resulted in a somewhat possessive nature. This can be truly frightening for the object she is possessive of. There is no sense of privacy, no personal boundaries, and some have noted an obsessive need to constantly be in contact with her object. In this case, she can always be seen standing extremely close to Ichimaru, her hand always touching his, or grazing some part of his body.
She is an enigma all wrapped up in a soothing aura of alluring indulgence. And this is something she is too keenly aware of. She acknowledges that she smells a certain way towards humans and vampires, and that if she were to ever let her guard down, this could essentially kill her. And so, she keeps up a facade that none can penetrate. She can appear soft, gentle, and humble, or she can be fierce, passionate, and unyielding. All of these are integrated into a survival instinct, one that she does not let go of. For those who wish to know the true Ryoka, however, must delve deep into the dark abyss of her mind, to search for the flickering light about to become extinguished. She is a woman who only wishes to be understood, to have her pain alleviated, or her life extinguished. She is a dark person, indeed. Not many who have known her can say their perspectives haven't changed, because they have. She only wishes to be free. From what? it is unknown for sure.

The circumstances that brought Ryoka into the world are similar to her brothers. After the first successful, albeit failure, of creating an artificial pureblood, the scientists at Sanguine Industries decided to try something different, though they used the same process. Genes gathered from the remains of the Queen - how she was found still perfectly preserved is a mystery - and her unborn child were spliced with genetics from an unknown donor. The man who provided his genetics to be used was unknown, but one curious human speculated she knew the answer. Still, they worked, molding and creating the creature that would become Ryoka. Her birth was odd, and it would become apparent from the moment she opened her eyes, that she was the key they needed to perfect the cure.
She spent her first few years underneath a microscope, both figuratively and literally. She was their prized creation, and they wanted to study this wonder of a child. She did not display the hunger vampires did - in fact, she didn't display hunger at all. She did, however, possess abilities the purebloods did and their strength. The scientists eventually grew greedy with her, and it was then the extent of her abilities was shown. Her blood permeated the air, driving the vampiric scientists into a reversed state of hunger. The humans, affected by the scent of her blood as well, tried their best to restrain their coworkers, but to no avail.
Ryoka was nothing more than fodder to them, and they had attacked her, bringing her to the brink of death. It was the first, and only time, Ryoka ever felt fear. She screamed and pleaded, but no one would listen to her. Her screams of anguish, however, managed to bring forth an unlikely savior. Ichimaru, whom she had grown extremely close to over the years, had answered her pleas for help, and managed to destroy the entire building of Sanguine Industries. With no where to go, Shiori, her adoptive mother, took them to her manor in Italy, raising them there the best she could.
It was there that Ryoka learned to be normal, or as normal as she could get. Her life in a room and confinement, being nothing more than an experiment, made the transition difficult. But Shiori never gave up on her, nor Ichimaru. Together, they learned to be different, and that they were dangerous creatures who could, essentially, kill everyone around them. Shiori, however, taught them mercy, and Ryoka had loved her surrogate mother dearly. And even though Shiori's death affected her, it did not do so to the extent it did Ichimaru, and she had to leave her surrogate brother's side for a time. The one death that did affect Ryoka, however, was the death of the first person she ever loved.
He was bright, charming, and the only friend she had outside of her brother. He was everything she wasn't, and she had desperately wanted to preserve that. His name was Lucius Basile, and he was the love of her life. At least, this was what she thought because she had never known the feeling that he gave her. Even though he was a pureblood, and he survived off of blood - hers specifically - she was blinded to the truth. But the way he died is something she will never forget. The only thing she will say, though, is that there was a man, with hair as dark as the midnight sky void of stars, and eyes as pale as the moonlight, who took her beloved from her.
Centuries have passed since that incident - perhaps four, though she does not remember. Since then, she has lived with Ichimaru at one of her surrogate mother's estate known as the Kuragiku Mannor. She and Ichimaru have become nothing but whispers to the wind, their existence completely forgotten by those who wished to experiment on them. This is what she believes, however; she has a feeling Ichimaru has kept more from her. She is the key, after all, to the completion of the cure, for it is said the blood of the Devil flows through her. Whether or not this is true, she does not care. She only wishes to live out her existence away from the nonsense of the world, working in her shop known as Kuragiku Gardens. It is the only source of happiness she has left, for the bleeding heart flowers remind her of how her own heart bleeds.
