History
After killing his brother Abel, Cain was punished by God, being told that the land would no longer sustain him and give him strength, he was then sent to wander in the lands of Nod, east of Eden. While wandering there, Cain encountered Lilith, his father Adam's first wife. From Lilith he learned the basics of the Disciplines. Cain was then visited by four Angels, agents of God who offered him the chance to repent for Abel's murder. Cain rejected each angel in turn, only to be cursed for each rejection: weakness to fire, vulnerability to sunlight, thirst for blood and constant betrayal. Each of his decedents also endured these curses and are known today as vampires. Dolby was a son of Cain, born into a life he did not deserve for his fathers own sins.

Dolby Venris's Story
Dolby Venris sniffled slightly, staring at the tree. He caught Rose's scent immediately, but didn't turn towards her. He also didn't want to argue with her. He sniffled again and turned towards her location, heading off into the mist. He felt she deserved an apology and was fully prepared to give her what she deserved. Although, he was feeling rather tired of apologizing for his behavior. As he approached her, he stopped and picked up his jacket off the ground. "I do not want you to... Fuck off...", he stated, sounding more like a statement than an honest confession.
Dolby Venris nodded in silence and rested a hand on her shoulder. "Many things I say are not how I mean them...", he stated and then stopped wondering how that could have actually sounded good to say in his head. "I mean... I say things that i don't really mean...", he corrected. "I care about you, and I'm seriously trying to change like you asked..."
