History
After killing his brother Abel, Cain was punished by God, being told that the land would no longer sustain him and give him strength, he was then sent to wander in the lands of Nod, east of Eden. While wandering there, Cain encountered Lilith, his father Adam's first wife. From Lilith he learned the basics of the Disciplines. Cain was then visited by four Angels, agents of God who offered him the chance to repent for Abel's murder. Cain rejected each angel in turn, only to be cursed for each rejection: weakness to fire, vulnerability to sunlight, thirst for blood and constant betrayal. Each of his decedents also endured these curses and are known today as vampires. Dolby was a son of Cain, born into a life he did not deserve for his fathers own sins.

Dolby Venris's Story
“
A young boy, appearing in his mid teens, stands upon a branch of a tall oak tree. He stares down at the coven and smirks slightly, glancing from the girl to the coven. He had been searching so long that he had almost decided to give up. "It gives you a feeling... Doesn't it? Almost like you belong...", he speaks outloud as he stares at the building.

Dolby Venris shakes his head, still staring at the building. "I am a member of no coven...", he spoke to her softly, but firmly. His voice had a sound of power to it, as if the most brilliant mind in the world had been stuffed into the head of a 14 year old.
Dolby Venris shrugged, "I go where I please... But the last time I was here, there were no man made structures..." He scowled at his own words and rubbed the tree as if consoling it.
Dolby Venris turns his head towards her, "Then who did?... God?" He said the name as though doubting its existence, although he know all to well the truth of Gods existence. He turned his gaze back forward and stepped off the limb as if about to walk across the air. He plummited straight down towards the ground and landed in a perfect standing position as if he had just taken an elevator.
Dolby Venris does not look at her but merely walks towards the building admiring the stained glass windows. "I know all too well..." He had a slight tone of sadness in his voice as he touched the glass.
Dolby Venris chuckled, a low animal-like growl. "Your Master does not frighten me... I have had words with your master, Andrei... Amadeo... Armand... or whatever name he has chosen by now, in the past."
Dolby Venris rolled his eyes and turned away, "Seldom Pleases me, but your master was unique... as are you."
Dolby Venris tilts his head at her response and then turns towards the voice. "It wouldn't cause me satisfaction, but I cannot decline such a generous offer."
Dolby Venris nodded in appreciation and turned on his heels, following her as he folded his hands behind his back. He ignored the vampire at the door and followed the girl, staring at the back of her head.
Dolby Venris remains behind the girl, still staring at the back of her head. He had no intent on interrupting and the conversation was no interest to him anyway.
Dolby Venris looked past the girls head and looked into the eyes of the vampire momentarily before returning his gaze to the back of her head.
Dolby Venris walks out from the building where he had been talking with Armand about private business and leant against a tree viewing the confrontation. His fourteen year old image seemed oddly out of place in the woods and his funeral attire only added to the vulgarity. "Armand is attending to your food source...", he spoke coldly as he folded his arms.
Dolby Venris shrugged and turned towards the door, allowing them to pass. "Shame to waste...", he muttered as he eyed the following male. "I smell suspicion... and prejudice...", he spoke as they entered the room, sniffing the air.
Dolby Venris continued to stare back at Rose, still smiling and unfolding his arms to bring his hands behind his back, exposing his whole front.
Dolby Venris took the punch in the chest with a slight waiver because of his small size, but buckled over at the groin shot. He looked up at her with the same smile as she turned away. He righted himself and resumed his posture.
Dolby Venris stopped and stared down at her, "I'm sorry... Did I lead you to believe that I doubted your warning?" He stood in the middle of the hall and stepped inches from her position. "I do as I please... but I do not take what is not mine." He closed his eyes momentarily and added, "Armand knows this..." He resumed the smile and staring once again.
