She would have her payment for the time wasted. Marcey will do what is necessary to get back at him. Even if that meant destruction of self or all others who get in the way. Because the system that allowed this? The people that sanctioned it? Well, they are legion, they are empire - They are Aschen. So maybe she couldn't do anything about them. But she could do something about her ex husband, and then? She would leave.

Marcey looked on in disgust. But she would show no changes in her face. Even if you could read her brain, you would not know at all that she had such abhorrent feelings that contradicted the empire. Her home. The place she was a part of for her life. Most of it anyway. That was until the fateful day she was abandoned for the state, for the empire.
"AD VICTORIUM!" She yelled in sync with everyone.
Certainly. She would continue to live her life. Until she no longer could. Until the day came. She was here nonetheless, everyone none the wiser of the last several years of her activities and training and collecting. No one would know.
Until it was time.
"AD VICTORIUM!" She yelled in sync with everyone.

Octavia Capori had tears welling in her eyes as Prince took the stage. Prince! In the flesh! She shoved her way through the crowd, not as if she had to shove much, to get closer. Closer. She gave a salute as the fanfare began, "AD VICTORIUM!"

Brothers and Sisters, we are gathered here today to celebrate our victory, the culmination of the hard work of every citizen who serves this Empire. We have worked tirelessly to bolster our defenses for the inevitable Asylian attack. Every one of us, a critical cog in this grand design. Without each and every one of you, our Empire would surely, and inevitably fall.

The Telescreen showed Ilia Thauce, the Asylian Admiral on the screen.

The crowd went nuts, screaming at the telescreen, throwing rotten fruit, half empty drinks, and even their shoes. "Ilia Thauce!" They screamed.
Marcey Gillian participated in all of the throwing of the fruit. Certainly wanting that part to be nothing but her upmost full on feeling coming to each swing of the arm. Every chuck was her releasing true feelings of disdain. She was hoping to look just as enthusiastic that way.

Marcey Gillian looked on with actual visible disgust now. Once again, moving with the crowd, making sure that she would be able to move along without notice.
The Telescreen shifted to an Asylian Soldier moving to attack the viewer, screams were broadcast all throughout the square, before the Aschen Anthem began to play, and Big Brother returned, to reassure the crowd.
Octavia Capori screamed and flinched, then was instantly angry with herself and the Asylians. Herself for showing fear, the Asylians for provoking it.
