Mina Harker's Story

Zosimos cared not, and pulled his kin towards the shadows. The soldiers were still recovering from Alucard's blast. While Alucard egotripped Zosimos would have to make a stealthy exit stage left. Silently, the vampire signalled his kin.

Annie would first seem to follow, but then something weird would happen, she would collapse and a ghostly form of a woman would appear, her hair black as night and features very pronouced and Victorian, staring around she would appear somewhat lost, before noting her husband unshackled, "Vlad?" it was his old name, a name he rarely used now, but this was no ordinary person, "Vlad Tepes, I once met you long ago with my fiancee and two other people, you spoke to me of eternal life, of the gift that I could never refuse, do you remember me Vlad?"

Vlad took a step back as he stared at the abberation. His eyes widened in bewilderment and confusion. "M-mina? Is that you? How can it be?" Though the majority of his face was void of emotion and cold, there was yet a layer of shock that filled his demonic eyes. All thoughts on Annie and Zosimos had left. In fact, any empathy or malice he felt towards them had gone with the shackles that chained him.

She nodded, staring down at the girl next to her, "I don't understand, how is this possible, Quincy slew me right before you my love, and then they imprisoned how, can I be here? I felt life leaving me, I felt the pain and anguish and yet I am here now, staring down at what appears to be grand-daughter of Abraham Van-Helsing, please tell me how long has it been? Why am I here now?" she would appear so confused and unsure of anything, at this point it was doubtful Zosimos could break this, since Annie necklace appeared to be the source.

Finally she saw it... "Our wedding symbol... the girl wears it... but how, how I am..." trying to breath slower, she would stare at him, "Vlad please answer me."

"Our children dwell here..." he gestured to his surroundings with a guantlet. "In this castle. They have become influential leaders of history and of vampire kind." Vlad clenched his hand. "Still, he was the first to defeat me. He had managed to transcend his humanity by his perseverance and pride. For that he has earned my respect."

He paused for a long moment before speaking again. "I have missed you dearly... For all these years I have felt alone - so alone. If I possessed tears to shed, they would flow."

Trying to step forward, she would be unable too, the necklace holding her back, "I feel your pain Vlad, your sadness, but why is the once proud king under the yoke of more oppressors, I see all Annie sees and they not only blackmailed another vampire, but they destroyed her mind. Were we not once refined and noble, but here they are making you a dog? If you want me back my husband you have too find a way, but I warn you now I care nothing of the qualms of those fools you choose to serve, once I am back I shall make it clear my love, this place wherever I am will soon understand, will soon learn that Mina Harker was no concubine to the finest Vampire to ever live, she was sadistic and cruel, a mistress who slew your fabled brides because she wanted you for her own. I can be brought back, but it will take time, do you wish to partake in the risk?"

Vlad nodded, but his perpetual grimace intensified. "If you have seen what I have seen, then you know that I am no longer bound to their whim. I will go my own path now, and leave these mongrels to their own devices. They will fall, or they will rise to power and then fall, either by the hand of Man or my own."

"However, I will undertake the task to return you to this world and restore my promise of eternal life to you. I have connections with the powers of Hell. It will be no great feat to bring you back."

"I trust you Vlad Tepes, my husband and my life. Just do me one favour only one favour, you are only no longer sworn to them, but protect his child, I do believe she needs it and Zosimos has no idea what power he has given her, you only witnessed a minute amount from today, she could destroy so much, he was a fool to change a Van-Helsing did he not realize how strong their faith was, did he not realize any of this?"


"I will watch over her..." he said. "I believe, by unshackling me and forsaking my protection, she has placed herself in a precarious situation. She may regret casting away my servitude. However, despite it, I will be watching from the shadows - like I have for their line for generations."

Smiling she reached out her hand, before dropping it and sighing, "Very well, to bring me back you must first find Quincy Harker or his descendents and take their blood, then find my soul, it's only essence within this necklace... finally you need to go to an unconsercrated ground, it has to be unconsercrated, nothing else will work. Then well I hope I don't have to tell you what to do next my husband, this is after all similar to ritual you once spoke of to keep you alive."

Vlad - Dracula, Alucard - nodded. "Very well... I will search, and I will destroy. We will meet again, my love." he said somberly before turning away. With a slow stride he made his way towards the door. The barrier opened on its own accord, allowing him passage. His long tattered cape trailed behind him, and the river of darkness and blood followed.


Zosimos removed himself and his kin from the room, receeding through the shadows. Alucard's insanity would be noted of.

The Forces Vankoryth poured in through the front doors as Descorp evacuated the planet completely. With what technology was left, the whole entire structure was seized by it's occupants.

"Setcher p'sitions!" Ulrich's harsh voice climbed the walls. From his pocket he pulled a piece of technology. Quickly, he found the single red button that would detonate the emergency message.

"Make sure them royals'r safe," He commented to a soldier at his side. Silently, Ulrich thumbed the button. The message was sent out. He turned for the stairs, barking.

"Detahnt!" Ulrich shouted, "Bad news n'such!" Soldiers hustled around.

"Oh for..."

Where the Castle should have been standing was an enormous stone block. The defenses had been activated. What a pain!

"Draco, I hate to inconvenience you, but it appears Castle Vankoryth is a bit...indisposed."

The wall was impenetrable - even for the strongest forces of darkness. Daemala glared at it before turning a warm smile to Draco.

"Verinotte Hollow isn't far off. Besides, wouldn't you enjoy to see the domain of the Detente?" If she were the type to wink, Daemala would have, as again she touched at the ring. The hoverlimo continued past the castle.

Ulrich Paternosta finished with the messengers and swiftly got to work.

Chronus restored the castle to it's normal defenses and posted up in his usual spot.
