Personality

Zoraka is a brooding sort, darkened by loss and strife. Happiness is a phantom to him now, as all meaning left his life years ago. He harbors an intense hatred for those that call themselves Sith, and has dedicated the remainder of his life to vanquishing those who ally themselves with the Sith lords. Despite his hatred, he harbors compassion for the weak and helpless, and tries to do everything in his power to defend them. Within him is nothing but torment and struggle, as he seeks peace and atonement for his past, even if he has to employ the power of his enemy to achieve such.

Equipment & Abilities

The Force - Being a Dark Jedi, Zoraka is able to utilize the power afforded to him by the Force, and has ventured into the realm of the Dark Side in order to attain the power necessary to combat his enemies more effectively, all the while refusing to bow to the doctrine of the Sith Code.

Meditation - Clearing the mind is a healthy way to recuperate, and being in this meditative state allows Zoraka the clarity he needs to effectively plan his actions for his ongoing crusade against the Sith.

Lightsaber Mastery - Mastery over the powerful lightsabers, Zoraka has proven himself a more than capable combatant with such a weapon in his hands, becoming a deadly weapon of anger and vengeance with one (or two) of these weapons in his grasp.

Vibroblade Mastery - Mastery over these weapons has come in handy during Zoraka's plight.

Virbrosword Mastery - Heftier than the vibroblade, these weapons are nevertheless useful in certain situations, and Zoraka has made great use of his ability to wield them.

Electrostaff Mastery - These weapons, made of lightsaber resistant phrik alloy, are armed with elctromagnetic pulse generators, making them excellent defensive as well as offensive weapons. Zoraka doesn't often use them, but can be quite devastating with on in his hands.

Blaster Mastery - Zoraka is able to utilize blasters effectively, though he doesn't prefer them as go-to weapons. Better used against non Force-sensitives.

Echani Mastery - This hand-to-hand combative form focuses on the strict use of one's body as a weapon, restricting the use of weapons and/or armor. This fighting style is meant to give the practitioner enlightenment to know themselves through physical conflict.

Teräs Käsi Mastery - A martial art made for fighting against Force-sensitives. It teaches the user to block their minds from Jedi and Sith influence, as well as how to combat them without use of a weapon or Force power. This fighting style has aided Zoraka in countless hunts against Sith.

Lightsaber - A lightsaber with a purple crystal inlaid in the hilt. Customized for Zoraka's preference for two-handed weapons, the hilt is extended to allow for use of one or both hands, allowing Zoraka a better grip on the weapon when necessary.

Vibroblade - A lightweight blade emitting ultrasonic vibrations for improved slicing ability, Zoraka keeps one on his person at all times for its simplicity and deadly capacity for effectively cutting enemies down.

Vibrosword - Longer and heavier than the vibroblade, Zoraka keeps this weapon on his back, utilizing its awesome cleaving prowess and weight against his opponents.

History

Zoraka grew up on the planet Coruscant, trained to be a Jedi at a very young age. As he grew, he showed great promise as a future Jedi, surpassing his classmates by a large margin. It was here that he met a girl, Amalgama, who became a close friend to him. As Padawan to Jedi Master Gorgas Vrant, he excelled in his duties, showing great fortitude against his opponents, growing into a very capable Jedi warrior himself. Eventually making his way to Knighthood, Zoraka was the staple of what it meant to be an exceptional Jedi. However, as he grew, a budding romance formed between he and Amalgama. They kept their relationship secret, as it was forbidden for Jedi to dwell in such things.

One night, Coruscant was visited by Sith assassins, seeking the life of Jedi Master Horkun Doss. The assassins infiltrated the Jedi temple, making their way through the hallways. They were met by none other than Zoraka, who had been awoken by their presence, and Amalgama. They shouted for assistance, facing off against the assassins. Their battle moved to the grand hall, enshrined by pillars and darkness of the night. At some point, Zoraka and Amalgama split apart to drive the assassins away from one another, leading them to various parts of the temple. Zoraka's former Master finally arrived in time to slay the assassin, congratulating the young man for his courage.

Making a move to seek out the other assassin, and his beloved, Zoraka took his master through the temple on the hunt, splitting up to cover more ground. In the darkness of the training chamber, he felt a presence, and was attacked by what he presumed was the assassin. In the confusion, he drew his saber and struck the assailant down in a single blow, only to discover that the one he had killed was Amalgama. Stricken with horror and enraged by what he had done, he came face to face with the smiling Sith with hatred in his heart. The assassin was brought down by Zoraka's might, but the darkness that tainted his heart had done its damage. His secret discovered, Zoraka was cast out from the temple.

Angry and lost, Zoraka sought to achieve the means to eradicate the Sith once and for all, tapping into the awesome power of the Dark Side to accomplish these means. He traveled the galaxy, hunting and establishing himself as a slayer of Sith. Using his never-ending rage as his ultimate weapon, he still makes his mark in the flesh of those that serve the Dark Side, cutting them down indiscriminately.

So begins...

He'd been watching from the rooftops, having concealed his presence from the Sith below. He had been following the vigilante for quite some time since he captured Isra Ventra, an impressive feat for a non Force-sensitive. But now it seemed that the man's luck had run out as Isra broke free of his grasp. He recognized the group below: Byron Irura and the Crimson Legion. Byron had managed to subdue the man and bring him to his knees, his Legion cohorts utilizing the Force in order to restrain the Vengeant and attempt to execute him. Zoraka thought it as good a time as any to jump in.

He plummeted down, down, down. Impact with the ground was lessened by a Force shockwave, making a light crater in the pavement as his back was to the rest of them. He turned, slowly, his helmet glaring in the streetlights above. He surveyed them, their stares drawn to him as if he were an apparition. He was known as the Reaver of the Sith, a Dark Jedi who earned his reputation upon the various bodies of slain Sith. Immediately, his lightsaber was in his hand and activated, its pulsing purple blade humming its deathly song.

He flipped into the air, landing near the Legionnaires and striking at them, attempting to rend them to pieces, striking in order to bring about their swift and untimely end. In Zoraka's eyes, they were just more Sith scum that needed to be purged.

The gunman's arm would snap and right as it was just getting entertaining a new arrival showed up. Byron used the force and pushed both the gunman one way and Isra another so that she could not get in his way as he began to walk towards the rather all to familiar figure before him.

"Zoraka!" Byron shouted as he watched one of the masked member of his coterie cut down right before him. The other was quickly enough to use the force to catch the blade in mid strike as it came dangerously close to decapitating the legionnaire but the masked figure was quick enough to push it away and counter with a stern push amplified with the force in a desperate attempt to send the man back. Byron simply opened up his robe like garb a bit revealing that the inside was covered in custom lightsabers that suddenly came to life as they fell out of place from their pockets only to hover around the Sith Scholar.

"You misguided fool. Stay out of my business and flee while you can."

He was forced back by the legionnaire's power, his companion now dead at their feet. The retaliation didn't affect Zoraka too terribly, and he was able to regain his composure easily. Byron forced the Vengeant and Isra away from him, utilizing his power to encircle himself in a collection of lightsabers. Byron was a tough one, that much was certain, and Zoraka found himself in a crucial situation. Caught between Byron and the legionnaire, Zoraka would have to plan his next move carefully. The legionnaire would be more annoying than challenging, and his distraction would hinder Zoraka's ability to combat Byron, if only a little, but a little could go a long way against this tyrant.

Thanos regained his composure, shaking off the shock he had just endured from the Sith's influence over his body and mind. Standing in front of the two Sith was another Force-wielding individual. The newcomer had already executed one of the peons, and was now engaging the remaining two combatants. Thanos decided to take this moment to give a bit of assistance. Sneaking up on the other legionnaire, he kicked down at their knee and grabbed for their head, attempting to snap the Sith's neck violently.

Zoraka stared as Byron's flurry of lighsabers encompassed him. "You misguided fool. Stay out of my business and flee while you can." Zoraka only stared, his hatred coming to a boil at the sight of the Sith before him. He slung his own lightsaber downward, cutting through the air, the weapon firmly in his right-hand grasp. "I don't run, Byron. I fight, and I destroy all that dare face me," he said, pointing the lightsaber towards his opponent. "You're no exception."

Immediately, a burst of Force lightning emanated from Zoraka's left hand, aiming to engulf Byron's person in its malicious embrace, seeking to electrocute him with the dark powers afforded to him by the Dark Side.

Just as the Force Lighting reached Byron a pearlwhite blade sprang to life and absorbed the lethal energy. Seconds later the weilder of the blade chose that moment to appear. Using the Force to hide herself within its ceasless waves. Deiyi stood, dressed in her typical black robes of a Jedi Watchman Knight. Still using the borrowed blade from Byron at that moment. The force lightning absorbed into the blade and then sprang harmlessly away as she flicked her wrist.

She looked to those around her carefully, A lone Jedi, surrounded by Darkness, but the Force was ever at work. Naturally not really caring the Jedi spoke. "I felt I should waken, and now I am glad I have." the dark haired woman said. She cast her gaze towards Toraka, then to Byron, "Does someone want to tell me what is going on, or am I going to have to use this ?" She twirled the pearlwhite blade in her left hand, igniting her own ssaberstaff, the unstable bright orange blade sprang from both edges. She had found another powercell somewhere in Byron's ship.

She looked ready to kill something.

But first she wanted answers

Byron just watched as the fool hearty Zoraka made his peace and with what resolve the man had it was impressive yet ultimately a failure, on both of his enemies parts. The sabers all activated at once revealing an array of colors but Byron suddenly found himself without much need to worry. It was when Deiyi spoke of using her lightsaber Byron began to snicker a bit.

"Well I suppose I would not mind if you helped me. We have stopped so I can require the foolish woman who is laying over there due to her apprentice asking for aid. Needless to say that vigilante......." Byron found himself cut off as he watched the other masked force adept he brought with him killed in the prime of his life by Vengeant. This caused the Sith Scholar to shake his head. "Anyway now that we have introduced that wild card. The other is a dark Jedi who stands before us. In short they both want to see me dead and that woman and I have no intention of dying just yet."

Isra felt herself be force pushed out of the way and heard another jedi appear and Byron and the jedi speaking, fed up with her bonds she instinctively attempted to use the force to break her bonds forgetting about the collar attached to her neck. Instantly she was met with the voltage once again but this time she did not stop, instead she ignored the pain and shocks.

She let out a powerful forcescream, letting the feeling of the Legionaries death and failure fuel her rage. The bonds that held her writs would snap under the emanating force power then the electricity was redirected from her body reaching up in a sporadic and pained motion she grabbed the collar and using the pain to fuel her power she ripped the collar from her neck. But as it was ripped she fell to her knees. It was off over in a matter of seconds but still the voltage had taken a toll and from her knees she let out another force scream to rally her willpower.

Thanos stood over the body of his victim, breathing heavily, his body taxed from the pressure he had endured moments before. He collapsed to his knees, struggling to regain his composure. He lifted his head, watching the scene unfold before him.

Zoraka's lightning was easily deflected by Byron's ring of sabers, as was expected. However, he was truly taken aback whent he flying Forcesaber came into the lightning's path, dissipating the stream of electricity and absorbing it. Zoraka took a step back, readying himself for the worst. What appeared before him was an unexpected sight: Deiyi. Zoraka knew her, even if she herself were not familiar with him. He'd made it a point to learn the names and faces of notable Jedi and Sith alike, and Deiyi was no exception.

She stood between the two combatants, her gaze on both of them, attentive and watchful. "I felt I should waken, and now I am glad I have." She surveyed the scene, her vision grazing over Byron and Zoraka. The Dark Jedi held his ground. "Does someone want to tell me what is going on, or am I going to have to use this?" she said, twirling the blade in her hands. Zoraka merely watched, as Byron chuckled and explained himself to her. "Well I suppose I would not mind if you helped me. We have stopped so I can require the foolish woman who is laying over there due to her apprentice asking for aid. Needless to say that vigilante......." Here, Zoraka found his gaze cast toward the Vengeant, who was down on his knees next to a slain legionnaire. The Reaver had to give the vigilante credit; taking down a Crimson Legionnaire was not an easily accomplished task for someone not trained in the ways of the Force.

Byron continued: "Anyway, now that we have introduced that wild card. The other is a dark Jedi who stands before us. In short they both want to see me dead and that woman and I have no intention of dying just yet." Zoraka's eyes merely burned into Byron's person. He turned his attention to the newcomer, keeping his lightsaber by his side. "You're going to allow these Sith to live?" he asked, rather demandingly.

Behind them, Isra was able to break free of her bonds, ripping the collar Thanos had placed around her neck from her being. The affair had taken much power from her, and she summarily collapsed in exhaustion, free of her captivity. Zoraka, however, kept his attention on Byron and Deiyi, refusing to take his eyes away from the scene in case he needed to react.

"It is not my poistion to choose weither one should stay or one should leave. Or to give orders. I am merely following the will of the Force." Deiyi said, turning to the one that cast the lethal energy towards her friend. She gave Zoraka a careful look over. "Considering your own strengths, you too, should listen to the Will of the Force and what it wants. Not go off on your own tangent and strike at those that work with me at this moment."

If this was the case, they were delayed. And delays meant that trouble was to come, more then she desired in fact. "Now" Deiyi said. "Will you continue to hinder, or do you want to join us ?" She flicked the pearlwhite lightsaber in a lazy circle. "Or do you want to meet your end by this blade ?" It was obvious the Jedi, one so young, had a very strong and clear understanding of the Force.

The woman seemed ready to duel if she had to. But she was honestly hoping not to have to do so. She had a date with Darth Mor concerning something rather important to her. And any more delays only made more trouble for her.

Byron only smiled and crossed his arms as he watched the events unfold before his very eyes. He was rather pleased with himself knowing he had an ally like Deiyi around and was pretty sure that it was rather unlikely for her to loose in a fight from what he had seen thus far. "Deiyi not to keep you from jumping into the fray of battle, and don't get me wrong I am sure you are relishing the very thought of showing this man every ounce of righteous fury, I think that our fight is not on this field." Byron only smiled a bit as he reached out to touch Deiyi's left shoulder only to then look upon the Lady of the Sith who he needed to interrogate and then the two wild cards that had stopped him on such an easy acquisition. "Zoraka, I bring my offer up once more, let me do my work while you turn tail this day. I have no intention of fighting you even if you brought your blade against all of mine." Byron then gestured to the lightsabers that surrounded Deiyi and himself. Time was of the essence and every little bump in the road that prevented Byron from reaching the Emperor was just one more step back he would have to deal with later.

"If it pleases everyone here I will be taking that very stupid woman away from the vigilante so that she may face real justice and be on my way. Do we have any who would oppose me on such a thing?"

Anonymous tips could work wonders when you pressed the right people. Staring through the display of his buy'ce, Jolo used the systems suite on his HUD to mark his targets, sorting his firing order as he adjusted the scope on his Verpine Shatter Rifle. Mostly concealed by the deep shadows of an alley, he rested the kinetic rifle on one knee, crooking his other hand to hold it steady. Experience in hunting the Jetiise and Darjetiise kept his mind from imagining kills, instead it was as if he was looking forward to cashing in liquid assets. A cold smile touched his face at the thought.

He let his gut choose the first mark, slowly easing the barrel on the man surrounded by floating lightsabers. That was all the reasons he chose this particular weapon. It's projectile could be easily destroyed by such a weapon, but hitting it was another matter altogether. Extremely fast, virtually invisible compared to a blaster bolt, making a sound quieter than a muffled cough, and such a small slug were an incredibly hard target to hit...particularly when the shooter had trained their mind to eliminate the impulse of lethal intent. It was with the thought of withdrawing credits from a bank that he settled his sights on the man's chest, just below the heart, and squeezed the trigger, adjusted to the throat, and fired again.

He faced them down, not moving, even after Bryron had offered him the option. "It's not in me to flee, Byron," he said, twirling his saber down by his side. "You know that." Intensity grew in the air, just as the electricity surrounding Zoraka's body did. Focusing his energy, he was able to rip up chunks of the ground beneath his feet, utilizing them as fodder and possible projectiles.

Surrounded by the Force, he stared his opponents down. Why Deiyi was helping Sith, he didn't know, nor did he care. If she was on their side, she would suffer the same fate as they. He held his place firm in the ground, rooted until action called him to move. He would wait for them to strike first, gauge their movements and react accordingly. He was aware of how powerful they were, so he wouldn't risk striking the first blow. No, he'd have to-

A sudden presence, new and unfamiliar. It bore the aura of battle and bloodshed, and something of greed. He couldn't take his eyes off of the enemy before him, but he felt a new enemy nearby. And suddenly, all hell would seem to break loose.

Thai was in still in the ship when she head shots and sabers going off she also heard her masters screams. The masked being was still blocking the door but she thought she had heard someone else exit the ship. Hearing her master caused Thai to gain some strength back and now she was walking toward the masked figure.

"Let me pass, they could be in trouble can't you feel the loss of your companions clearly they might need assistance!" Thai exclaimed in a plea to get past the guard.

--------

Isra though exhausted managed to get up and stagger toward Byron and the Deiyi she knew she was going to be in trouble but she felt it best to stand with them than with the others. A shot went off in front of her but still she continued to stagger forward. The ground was trembling and electricity moved forward but she still moved forward.

With the Force Adept before her surroudning himself with Force Lightning was trying to intimidate, it was not exactly working as he had hoped. Deiyi looked more or less bored than anything else. It was either bordeom or she was slightly impressed by the display. She was in fact slightly distressed at the lack of learning the Sith before her possessed. As far as she could sense at least.

The Jedi was dressed in black, from head to foot. Simple black robes of a Jedi Battlemaster Watchman. Typical for her station and training. She held both her own lightsaber, now one bladed, and the pearlwhite blade that Byron had made and she was still borrowing. Whatever methods he used to create the almost too simple hilt with a very well designed blade casing and crystal housing made her wonder slightly.

Then it happened.

Faint in the Force she felt it. And she moved Seemingly to disappear, leaving a shadow of herself slowly moving as she moved first. The pearwhite blade impacted against somethung unseen, but clearly felt by the female Jedi Knight. With a flare of white energy the pearlwhite lightsaber connected with something that Deiyi was unable to see.

But she could sense its direct path. And where it came from. She also knew the target. Someone was aiming for Byron ? Sith had enemies sure, other sith, but this, this was just too much. She turned towards Byron, "I think we need to go." She said, then she said a bit more sternly "Now" She wasn't sticking around anymore then she needed to.

And like all turns of events Hell did seem to break loose, but only for a second, for the calm that was Byron was suddenly replaced with the threat of an assassin who failed to make his or her mark all due to Deiyi and her connection to the force. The Sith Scholar felt his heart rush up into his throat for a second and panic suddenly began to fill Byron. What was more discerning was that for all that Byron was he did not feel the presence of the assassin as the killer pulled the trigger again and again in rapid and accurate succession. Quickly Byron ducked and bobbed only to duck for cover behind something large and on wheels.

Meanwhile at the ship the masked figure continued to hold her own against the young child. She simply continued to stare down at the girl only to perk her head up as a thought was received that almost seemed to be covered in blood and filled with agony. Byron was clearly not fairing well against the ambush and it was up to the coterie that was remaining to come to his aid.

'Stay put child.' The masked woman spoke only to then rush out from the ship accompanied by the remaining three who quickly began to work together amplifying their own abilities in order to search and find their target while Byron still lived.

"You missed," the armored Mando'ad said in jest, speaking to his kin from the darkness of the alleyway. Beneath his helmet, the Zabrak smirked, revealing sharpened teeth in the mischievous grin. "It is but a Sith, brother, surely you can manage killing it." He crouched, making his way over to Jolo's side before stopping in the shadows, peering out at the scene before them.

"Dar'jetii abounds, it seems. How do you plan on handling this?" He looked to his Mandalorian brother-in-arms, the smile still painted across his face hidden by his helemt.

Zoraka jumped clear of any attacks, throwing the Force lightning-covered rubble he had accumulated from the concrete towards the Sith and Deiyi. When he had achieved distance enough away from them, he held his ground waiting for another attack. He planted his feet into the ground, anticipating the next attack.

Thanos, having regained his senses, couldn't help but smile at the cowering Byron. He'd been fired upon, making Thanos breathe a sigh of relief. There was someone here that he'd get along with after all. Taking advantage of the confusion, he lobbed a pulse grenade at Byron. Should the grenade detonate near the fearful Sith, he would be fried by the electrical energy that would emanate from the canister.

"Copaani mirshmure'cye, vod?" The human Mando retorted, not needing to turn his head to see the familiar "face" of his unexpected companion. Flipping the rifle over his shoulder and hearing it click and lock in the hardpoint holster, he drew another few pieces of his arsenal. The first was an unusual sight, a weapon akin to a halberd. Held in his left hand near the bladed end, he hefted it as he pulled an odd looking grenade from its bandolier. The infamous Merr-Sonn G-20 Glop.

Triggering it for a three second delay, he twisted around, sidearming it backhand on a low path over the area, burning 1.3 seconds off the timer. "Muun'bajir, vod." Jolo quipped as he triggered his jetpack, a gout of flame propelling him up and out of the alley to land on the low rooftop next to him, just in time to witness the Glop's eruption of spray adhesive. Within a ten meter radius, the grenade sprayed a rapidly hardening foam adhesive that settled to a hardened state of concrete, the foam expanding on contact for maximum coverage. Sliding his grip down the beskar naginata's staff, the mercenary counted off the seconds till the foam would set before looking to drop into the area. Five, four, three, two, one...

Thai sighed as the other sith were fighting. Just because I'm an apprentice doesn't make me a 'kid'! She thought anger then she head the sounds of more explosions and finally with a decision she checked to see if she had her saber and she conditioner joining the others. She said stay on the ship... Thai thought when suddenly she came to a decision.

Turning on her heels she used the force to open one of the doors and found her way to the cockpit a place that was very familiar to her. Thai had been flying since she was 10 and and now had 7 years under her belt. Smiling she as she realized the ship was still on she jumped into the pilots seat to get a feel for the thing. Before slowly taking off.

The thing was larger than the fighters she was used to flying but it was nothing she couldn't handle with a bit of practice also she knew something of this size was more durable though Byron would probably feed her to a Rancor if she scratched it. Or that's what Thai would do if she had a ship like this.

Opening a comm to the docking bays owners she began to shout. "Open the door now, or I'll blast the thing Bosses orders." She said in a cooler voice than normal.

"A-alr--it" She heard in a scared tone. They must have be scared shitless of us. Thai thought with a smile as the docking bays door opened she brought the ship out and up to look over the streets she could see the fight below and brought the ship over the street slow keeping away from the fight she flew as if she were just flying a cargo mission and happened to be passing over the area.
------------
Isra continued forward and managed to make into a doorway alcove on the street before collapsing exhausted. She knew she needed to fight but the shocks from the collar were taking a serious toll on her body. "I--i must-" she exhaled before slipping from consciousness.

As the strange device ticked down Deiyi did the only thing she figured that would work to her advantage. She grabed Byron and practially threw him, his lightsabers following as if on strings. Then she herself jumped after Byron's flying form. leaving in her place a tiny device, no larger than a humanoids heart. A thought bomb. As soon as the glop hardened over i the bomb went off. sucking all life in a two meter radii into its core. at the same time Deiyi did her best to shield from the explsoing glop device.

What the hell ?

She then hid herself from view, completely. Using the force to hide was easy as a thought. She could not be sensed, targeted or even tracked. She felt to where the incoming projectile fire had come hence and while unseen went towards that direction. Deiyi however soon halted as the pulse grenade hit her left foot. Ah hell no! As the pulse grenade went off in her face she threw down a Force Shatterpoint in an effort to protect herself from the energy blast.

It was yet again Byron felt himself hit the ground once more but it was this time thanks to Deiyi. Just a few seconds short the four masked members of Byron's coterie showed up just at the nick of time only to draw their own sabers and rush into combat using the force to quicken their pace.

As Jolo ascended, landing on a nearby rooftop, Shaka couldn't help but shake his head. "Nice to see you, too," he said. He remained in the alleyway, curious to see how his Mando'ad brother would handle the situation.

Zoraka dashed clear of the Thought Bomb's blast radius, just barely avoiding his own soul being wrenched from himself. He held fast, unsure of what the Sith's next move would be. Suddenly, there was an explosion; one of Thanos' pulse grenades. Deiyi was caught in the blast, throwing up a barrier in order to protect herself.

Byron on the other hand was busy hiding from the attacks he had been suffering. "Byron! Quit your cowering and face me!" he roared. He stood facing the vehicle behind which the Sith had taken cover. However, Zoraka's attention would be diverted to the onslaught of advancing legionnaires hastily making their way to the battlefield. Zoraka brought up his saber, ready to face down the new opponents.

Shaka, in a bout of savage happiness, thought he might have to throw in his blaster for this fight. "Seems you may need my help after all, brother," he said to himself.
