Theme Song 2 | The Reveal
Theme Song 3 | Monster
Adopted Name: Demetrius Homs
Aliases: None
Apparent Age: 26
Gender: Male
Classification: Class I
Appearance (Human): (Plus a tattoo of the first image on his right outer bicep)
Appearance (Monster):
Skills: Hand-to-hand combat, exceptional brute strength and respectable wits when it comes to strategy. In his Monster form, he has considerable power that can go toe-to-toe with a Class IV or V, despite not consuming a single Fragment. Also in his Monster form, he can shred his enemies with his fine-tipped claws.
Special Ability: While in his Monster form, Renauch can summon balls of explosive flames; these orbs' densities and pressures can be manipulated to have a variety of different effects. Thus, no matter what size these spheres are--from as large as cars to as small as golf balls--their destructive capabilities can seem random to someone who can't figure out his attack patterns without being obliterated into dust. On top of this, his smaller frame (compared to most other Fragments' Monster forms) and a decrease in weight allows him to be considerably agile and quick, only increasing his deadliness.
Weaknesses: Anything relating with liquid water that touches him can weaken him. Also, if the fiery inferno sprouting from his back is covered/, then he will gradually overheat, as the fire acts as a vent to regulate his body temperature.
Other Fragments Consumed (If Known): None
Persona: Renauch is a very passive being, preferring to follow his pursuit of knowledge and truth rather than bathing himself in the blood of others--both innocent and fellow Fragments. His entire quest can be boiled down to a single question: "What does being a human mean?"
However, when in the face of others, he is considerably outspoken and honorable. He places his moral code in high regard, willing to go to the ends of the earth to follow it; he believes that any form of power should be moderated and limited, after all. Whether it be a total unwillingness to attack an innocent being or following his superiors' every order (unless they contradict his own beliefs), the other Wilde Jagd recruits will inevitably see Renauch as the "big brother" of the group.
Known History: Not much is known about Renauch, as only a small number of people (including a couple Hounds) have ever caught onto his trail. Unlike most Fragments during the escape of Saltmaw, Renauch slipped out of the area without needing to spill a single drop of blood, beginning his pastime of visiting different towns shortly after. What little information about him known to the Hounds is that he spends his time wandering from place to place, doing nothing more than experiencing things that humans take for granted, like drinking, going to the market, and enjoying himself at entertainment centers. One of these people who caught onto him in the past had theorized that Renauch endlessly travels to try to be more like a human, simply due to curiosity, intrigue, and perhaps even longing. However, due to him being only a Class I Fragment, the Hounds have effectively put his file to the bottom of the stack, basically freeing him from any major threats.
But one day, he noticed that the same group hunting him down was accepting new recruits. Throwing caution to the wind and forgoing his survival instinct, he decided to enlist in order to gain a better understanding of humans.
Other: The minute detail that allowed people in the past to suspect him of being a Fragment is his sharp yellow eyes. He's been able to skate by almost unquestioned by stating that it was a minor birth defect unrelated to the Witch Gene. He also has a tattoo (the first image at the top) on his right outer bicep; while most people wouldn't think anything of it, there are still a few Fragments out there that would know him if they saw it, as they saw it on his arm during the escape of Saltmaw.
