| Age |

17

| Occupation |

Part-time waitress at Meg's Café

Image
| Appearance |

Chloe is described as very beautiful. She has healthy peach skin that’s smooth with hardly any blemishes. The only marking she has is a rose tattoo on her right side rib cage, something her parents don't know about. She does, however, have a scar from when she was bitten on her right shoulder.

Standing at 5 feet 3 inches, her body shape is slim and slender and she weights 106 lbs. She usually if found in jeans and a tomboyish style. During the winter she wears jeans, long sleeved shirts, a fuzzy coat, a beanie, fuzzy socks, and thick shoes. Summer she's more stylish with shorts, tanks and sometimes dresses. She style varies from boyish to girly. It all just depends on how she feels that day.

She has hazily-gray eyes. When in the light, they have a tint of baby blue. Her most distinguishing feature would be her eyes, since they are an odd mix of colors; hazel, gray, and baby blue.

Her hair is long and wavy. The color being between blonde and slightly dirty blonde. It falls about 3 inches passed her shoulders. When touched, it is silky and smooth.

Image
| Personality |

Chloe was very independent because her parents showed little care for her when she was young. She is described further as 'a mathematics genius' and the type who likes things neat and in order, which could be an aftereffect of the childhood neglect; she might be trying to keep everything in place all alone, therefore becoming someone who was hard to get through to, unless you had already been an object of her affection, i.e the wolves. She describes herself as a girl, who chooses solitude.

Once you are able to break down Chloe's barrier, she is a kindhearted, caring girl. She's not really mean or strict, but she will be when she needs too. She's also a very fun and lovable person. But she puts up a string front and will not show people how truly sad or hurt she is. She feels that if she shows how hurt or sad she is, everyone she cares about will be too. So she fakes a smile and tries to get through it, bottling her true emotions up. At times, Chloe will hint at a specific posture is, whether it be an angry one or an upset on, but people might want to be careful of what they say around her or else she'll burst out the emotion she's feeling.

| Bio |

Being an only child, Chloe found herself a bit lonely as a kid. It also didn't help that her parents ignored her most of her childhood. Her mother was too involved with her art studio and would either spend all her time in the art room in their house or down at her art studio where there was "more room to work". Her father, being a police officer, was only home at night though sometimes he'd be gone all day and night. He also frequently goes on hunting trips with police unit whenever they had a few days of. Chloe doesn't make friends easily, as her interest in the woods creep other kids out as they thought she was weird for it, saying that the woods were a dangerous place. She believed otherwise.

On one winter day, when Chloe was 10 years old, she decided to go into the woods that were behind her house. She wanted to know if there really were monsters inhabiting the woods. What she didn't expect upon entering the woods was to get bitten by a large grey wolf. She thought she was going to get eaten by the wolf as it jumped on top of her growling and baring it's teeth, but it only bit her on the right shoulder then ran off. For some odd reason, she didn't cry when she was bitten. But she did scream, since the wolf came out of nowhere. When she went back home, her parents freaked out. Her clothes were slightly torn from the wolf's claws and they were stained with blood from where the wolf had bitten her.

Her father was yelling at her mother for not keeping a better watch on her when he was at work. That soon ended up as a divorce that followed a week later after the indecent. Since then, she has been living with her father. Her mother, of course, still lives in Marcy Falls so Chloe can go see her whenever she wants to. Though she was bitten, she hadn't shifted into a wolf, so maybe it was just a regular wolf and not a werewolf...

Summer Girl || Sulaiman Azimi
I fell for her in Summer
She is my lovely Summer Girl
From the Summer she is made
My Summer Girl

I'd love to spend just a Winter
With my lovely Summer Girl
But I'm never warm enough
For my Summer Girl

Oh, it's Summer when she smiles
And I'm laughing like a child
It's the Summer of our lives
Oh, we'll contain it for a while

She holds the heat, the breeze of Summer
In the circle of her hands
Oh, I'd be happy with this Summer
If it's all we ever had, oh...

I fell for her in Summer
She is my lovely Summer Girl
From the Summer she is made
My Summer Girl

I'd love to spend just a Winter
With my lovely Summer Girl
But I'm never warm enough
For my Summer Girl

Oh, it's Summer when she smiles
And I'm laughing like a child
It's the Summer of our lives
Oh, we'll contain it for a while

She holds the heat, the breeze of Summer
In the circle of her hands
I'd be happy with this Summer
If it's all we ever had

Oh, is this Fragile love
Just a way to say goodbye?
All About Us || He Is We (ft. Owl City)
Take my hand, I'll teach you to dance.
I'll spin you around, won't let you fall down.
Would you let me lead, you can step on my feet.
Give it a try, it'll be alright.

The room's hush, hush,
And now's our moment.
Take it in feel it all and hold it.
Eyes on you, eyes on me.
We're doing this right.

Cause lovers dance when they're feeling in love.
Spotlight shining, it's all about us.
It's oh, oh, all,
About uh, uh, us.
And every heart in the room will melt,
This is a feeling I've never felt but,
It's all about us.

Suddenly, I'm feeling brave.
Don't know what's got into me,
Why I feel this way.
Can we dance, real slow?
Can I hold you, can I hold you close?

The room's hush, hush,
And now's our moment.
Take it in feel it all and hold it.
Eyes on you, eyes on me.
We're doing this right.

Cause lovers dance when they're feeling in love.
Spotlight shining, it's all about us.
It's oh, oh, all,
About uh, uh, us.
And every heart in the room will melt,
This is a feeling I've never felt but,
It's all about us.

Do you hear that love?
They're playing our song.
Do you think we're ready?
Oh I'm really feeling it.
Do you hear that love?
Do you hear that love?

Do you hear that love?
They're playing our song.
Do you think we're ready yet?
Love I'm really feeling it.
Do you hear that love?
Do you hear that love?

Do you hear that love?
They're playing our song.
Do you think we're ready yet?
Oh I'm really feeling it.
Do you hear that love?

But it's all about us.

(Hey-ey hey)
And every heart in the room will melt,
This is a feeling I've never felt but,
It's oh, oh,
It's all about us.

Location: Meg's Café || "Anything's possible if you've got enough nerve."

Chloe had been at Meg's Café since six in the morning. She was wearing a simply black button up dress, that went just above her knees, a red apron around her waist, and roller blades strapped to her feet. This was her usual waitress outfit, complete with either a pad of paper and pen to take orders or a tray with food on it. With the carnival in town, a lot of out-of-towners stopped by the Café before going to the carnival, as well as locals. The place was packed, all tables inside and out were filled and the wait to get in was about half an hour long. But Meg's Café was the best in town, out of two other Cafés, everything was handmade and extraordinarily delicious. It also helped that the staff was super nice to all customers.

The town's clock tower stroked, as the loud chime of bells rang out through the town. It was now noon and time for Chloe to end her morning shift. She went into the employee's break room, in the back, to get her things. Once her stuff was retrieved, she stepped into the bathroom to change. She was now wearing a black cami top, a purple layered skirt, and dark brown ankle high two inch boots. She shoved her work clothes into her bag and left the Café. Taking out her phone she texted her two friends to meet her at the carnival, which they gladly replied 'Yes' to.

Half an a hour later, Chloe and her two friends; Stella and Beca, were sitting at one of those gross tables at the carnival. The ones that look like they were from the trash. The girls were all munching on some fries and sipping on their floats. "Okay, once we finish eating, we should play a few of the games and go on a ride or two." Chloe told the other two girls who agreed with her. The girls finished their food and left to where the games were.

After playing the Bottle Ring Toss game five times in a row, Chloe finally as able to win a prize. "Finally won!" She cheered, retrieving her prize, which was a medium sized lion. "Let's go play another game~" The carnival had always brought out her inner child, as when she was littler her parents never brought her here. Dragging her two friends to the next game, she had a wide laughing smile.

"Chloe, after we play this game ONCE, lets go on a ride. Kay?" Stella suggested, chuckling because she knew Chloe would be determined to play again and win another prize if she didn't get it on her first try. "Yeah, let's just play this game once and get a few rides in." Beca added, giggling along.

Chloe looked at her two friends for a moment, slightly pouting. "Fine. One game them rides." She sighed, defeated by those two. Oh! I have another shift at Meg's later, so I need to go back around 8 tonight."She remembered, thinking to herself as she gave the carnie the money to play the Balloon Dart game. After that game the three girls went off to the rides. The first one was called Vortex.

Morgan walked around the carnival slowly. It was rather packed for a place with such a small population. Then again, they got visitors during this season, so it generally made up for it. He was walking down the breezeway where all the games were. He was ignoring the ones who were yelling at him tocome win a prize. Morgan didn't play games, he didn't like to. He sighed. It was so hot, he hated the heat. It was then that something caught his eye. Or his nose, rather.

It was a scent, a very female scent, one that smelled like hay mixed with strawberries. He wasn't sure why it caught his attention, but it did. He glanced around, and then he zoned in on her. He recognized her from the local cafe, but he didn't know her name. She was blonde, pretty, as humans went. She'd also come to the library on more than one occasion. He thought it a little odd that he didn't know her name. He watched as she and her friends went over to the rides. They went on to Vortex. Morgan never rode rides. Another thing he didn't like was machines. They made him uneasy. Even after she got off the ride, his nose was following her. He stopped at one of the stands, and got a funnel cake. He was chewing it when the girl and her friends walked straight by him. He caught her eyes for a second. He didn't smile, and when they passed, he kept walking. He was uncomfortable with how she made him feel.

Morgan laughed. "Not much for thank you's I see." He dangled the three dollars in front of her face, and made her jump for it when she grabbed at it. He finally handed the money to her and then popped a piece of cotton candy in his mouth before handing her the bag. "You're welcome, pup. You should be more thankful, not to mention less of a pushover. You shouldn't have let him play you like that, Ells." Mogan stood up, stretching. He glanced around them again. The waiter girl from before had disappeared, giving Morgan mixed feelings. He looked back at Ellie.

"So, what have you been up to, pup?"

Jason "Jace" Michaels
Location: Eastice Park, Carnival || “It was tough attempting to be social with people who'd rather pretend you didn't exist.”

Image

Jace wondered around the carnival for a bit, Fritz following after him. "Let's see. Where to go first." He said to himself trying to find a game that the puppy could play with him. After searching for five minutes, they came across two games. One was the Fish Bowl, where you try and toss a golf ball into a fish bowl to win that fish. The other was the Duck Pond, where you grab a rubber duck out of the flowing water and depending on it's color you win a certain prize, it was a game of luck.

Jace looked at the two games, then down at Fritz. "Which one do you want to go to first?" The puppy barked and headed towards the Duck Pond. "Game of luck it is." He smiled, following his dog.

Reaching the booth, Jace handed the man four dollars. "Two ducks." He told the man, patting the edge of the table. Fritz understood this and jumped up onto it.

"Alright kid. Whenever you're ready, grab a duck. If the bottom's black, sorry no prize for you. If it's blue, you get to choose a small prize. Yellow a medium prize. And if you get lucky and grab a red, then you get one of the big prizes." The man informed him.

Jace nodded, then looked to Fritz. "You got that boy?" The puppy barked, meaning he understood. Let's see. The ducks with an outfit are probably the black and blue ones. Since kids are going to be more attracted to them and there is more. So the plainer ones must be yellow or red as there is only a few of them. The boy thought, trying to analyze the trick to the game.

Fritz barked again, sticking his head into the water and withdrawing a rubber duck. The bottom of it was blue. "Good boy. You got yourself a new toy." He praised the pup and picked out a small purple bear. "Here you go. And now it's my turn." He placed the bear in front of Fritz, who grabbed it in his mouth right away. Jace finally grabbed on of the plain ducks and, to the carnie's surprise, was yellow. "Let's see, I'll take the duck." It was just a regular looking duck, but he liked it for some reason.

The two then headed over to the Fish Bowl booth. Jace paid six dollars this time for two balls. He tossed the first one, but sadly it missed. Then he lightly tossed the second to Fritz, who hit it towards the bowls with is muzzle. To everyone's surprise, the golf ball made it into one of the fish bowls."Well kid, that's some lucky pup you got there. Here you go."The man handed Jace the fish bowl and the two left.

"I didn't intend on getting a fish...Nala with eat it if I bring it home." Jace sighed, looking around. Might as well just give it to someone. He thought, spotting Morgan and a girl around his age. Fritz ran off towards the two before the boy was able to say anything. Not again! He ran after the puppy, stopping in front of the two. "Fritz! Do I need to put you on a leash?" He scold the pup, then glanced up. "Ah. Sorry about that.." Apologizing, he looked to the girl. "Um..I can't take care of this fish because I have a cat who'll probably eat it. Do you want it?" He asked the girl, thinking that she looked somewhat familiar.

Getting off Vortex, Chloe was laughing. Her friends were fairly dizzy, but spinning rides didn't bother her. "Alright! Next ride should be...That one!" It was Zipper another ride that spins. The girl was strangely fond of spinning rides, as she never got dizzy or a headache. Her friends, on the other hand, sometimes didn't appreciate this aspect.

Nevertheless, the three girls headed to Zipper. Though, Chloe stopped for a moment, feeling like someone was staring at her. She looked around, but there were too many people to tell who it was. Shrugging, the girl ran to catch up with her friends.

In line, Stella retrieved her phone from her back short's pocket. "Chloe, my mom wants me home in an hour to watch my little brother. So I'll be leaving after this ride. Kay?" This made the girl pout. It was only three in the afternoon.

"Alright. Guess me and Beca will hang out and have fun without you." Chloe stuck her tongue out at Stella, causing the three girls to laugh. "I have to leave at 7 anyways. Tony is making me do another shift. Man, he's so annoying."

Morgan shrugged with a small laugh. "I suppose I didn't think that through, did I?" He crossed his arms and spotted Chloe in the crowd, the girl he had been staring at before. Why did she make him feel so strange? He watched as they were headed to the Zipper. Morgan made a face. That ride was particularly nasty. His thoughts were interupted by the arrival of Fritz and Jason. Morgan gave them his attention, bending down to pet the puppy. Jace seemed to be offering Ells a fish.

"Nah, Fritzie don't need no leash. You're not bothering anybody, are you, little man?"

He stood up again. "Well, I'll leave you two alone for a bit."

He walked over to the Zipper, standing near the exit gate. He wondered once more why he seemed to be so drawn to the blonde waitress.

Zipper finished doing it's rounds before letting the girls off. Stella and Beca were, of course very dizzy, while Chloe was once again laughing. But this made up for the fact that every time they went out of town to visit an amusement park, the two girls forced forced her to go on the roller coasters. Which she was not a fan of. Chloe hated heights, being forced on tall coasters scared her shitless. So she didn't care if Stella and Beca disliked all the spinning rides, especially in a row. That was the price for doing what they do every year.

"Ugh. Chloe that one was a bad choice. I have a major headache now. I hope Axel isn't in a screaming mood today..." Stella wined, rubbing her temples. "Well, bye guys. See you two later. And good luck Beca." The girl left the carnival and headed home.

The remaining two waved bye and took a seat on one of the benches next to the Zipper. The remaining two waved bye and took a seat on one of the benches next to the Zipper. Again, Chloe had a feeling someone was watching her. She took a quick glance around and spotted Morgan. Isn't that the Librarian? Is he the one staring at me? She lightly shook her head and turned her attention back to her friend.

"Okay, it seems like you can't handle another ride at the moment. So we'll play some more games." She told Beca, who let out a relieved sigh. "Okay, it seems like you can't handle another ride at the moment. So we'll play some more games." She told Beca, who let out a relieved sigh.

The two got up and went over to one of the food stands. They both bought a water bottle, as it seemed to be getting hotter. But that might be because all the blood rushed to their head on the last ride. "Chloe since you have 4 hours before you need to leave. How about we play 5 games, go on two more rides, then get something to eat. That way I can have the blood return to the rest of my body instead of just my head." Beca suggested

Chloe, taking a big gulp of the water, nodded. "Sounds good to me." The two girls headed over to the Milk Bottle Pyramid game. They paid six dollars for three softballs each.

Chloe throw her first ball, but it completely missed. The second only knocked the top bottle off. And the third also missed. Beca had no luck either, except all three of her balls missed. "Come on this game is probably rigged. Let's just go to a different one." Beca told her, pulling the girl's shirt.

"No! I will win that wolf stuffed animal!" Chloe declared, paying for another set of three balls. She was determined to win the wolf, especially since it was the last one on the rack. She always had a strange liking to wolves, as she always snuck into the Boundary Woods during the Winter to take their pictures. Sadly, she lost again, then played again.

Morgan watched as Chloe tried -and failed- to play the bottle pyramid game. He smiled slightly. Her friend was right, the game was rigged. The bottom bottles had weights in them. Only good pitchers could knock them over, unless you knew how to play the game. He walked up next to the girls and threw a bill down. The guy handed him the softballs. He looked over at the girls and nodded once.

"You're throwing it wrong. You have to aim at the bottom three, just between the middle one and one of the ones on the end. They're weighted, so you have to have enough force to knock them down. The ones on top will fall because they don't have any support left." Morgan picked up the ball, cocked it back, and threw it. He had a good arm, as attributed to his years on the highschool softball team. They entire pyramid fell over, and the guy begrudgingly gave him his pick of prizes. Morgan nodded to the wolf.

He had to laugh slightly. It was an all white snowy wolf, that looked uncanilly like himself, the only difference was the eyes. The stuffed animal had plastic blue ones. Morgan's were a deep, blood red. He glanced over at Chloe, watching her eye the toy with envy and desire. He gave her a slight half-smile, and then handed it to her. "Here. You wanted him, right?"

Chloe stopped playing after her third try. "I know the game is most likely rigged. But I really want that wolf!" She was pouting again. Stupid game. Suddenly there was a bill on the table. She looked over to see that Morgan was standing next to them. Which he nodded to them.

"You're throwing it wrong. You have to aim at the bottom three, just between the middle one and one of the ones on the end. They're weighted, so you have to have enough force to knock them down. As he received the white wolf she wanted.

"Well I'm not good at sports. And I'm not coordinated. That's why I kept missing." Chloe said, glancing at the stuffed animal every now and then. She was jealous that he had the wolf and not her.

It seemed like Morgan noticed her staring, as he offered the wolf to her. "Here. You wanted him, right?"

"Yeah. Thanks.." She took the wolf from him, holding it close to her so it hid her blushing cheeks. When guys did this cheesy stuff, it always made her blush.

Beca, on the other hand, took advantage of this. "Ah. Well I see you're all better now. And Oh! Look at the time. I got to go. See ya girly." With that, she waved and ran off.

"Beca! Wait!" Chloe called after her friend, but it was too late, she had disappeared into the crowd of people.

Jace was thinking of what to do, when Ellie offered her last piece of cotton candy to him. "...Do you want it?"

He felt that he couldn't decline the girl's offer so he accepted it. "Um..Sure. Thanks." He took the last piece and ate it as he looked around. "Well, what kind of rides do you like? I'm down for anything really."He told her, then remembered Fritz was sitting patiently next to him.

He picked up the Finnish Spitz, holding him with one are while the stuffed duck was in his other hand. "By the way, this is Fritz." The puppy muffled a bark as his stuff bear was still in him mouth.

Morgan smiled slightly. She wasn't very good at hiding, either it seemed. Though he had to admit to himself, she was pretty cute when she blushed. He glanced up and down the row of games. It was then he noticed her friend basically run away from them. He arched an eyebrow. "Does she usually run away like that?" He smiled again, and then extended a hand.

"I'm Morgan, by the way. Morgan Alistair. I'm the librarian in town. I think I've seen you in there a few times, but I don't believe I've ever caught your name?"

He ointed in the general direction of the other booths. "So, any other rigged games I need to teach you how to beat?"

"Does she usually run away like that?" Morgan asked, he was smiling and had his hand out to her.

Chloe scanned the crowd again. "Only when she wants to be a nuisance..." She sighed, taking his hand and shaking it.

"Yeah, I know who your are...That sounded much more creepier than I intended." She placed her hand over her face and looked down after she said that. "What I meant was that I know you're the librarian here. As you mentioned, I got to the library a few time, so I've see you around and behind the counter." She smiled, mentally slapping herself for sounding like a weirdo.

"Anyways, my name's Chloe Williams. It's nice to officially meet you." Chloe said, then followed to where he was pointing.

"So, any other rigged games I need to teach you how to beat?" He inquired, having a slight smirk on his face.

She looked at the rows of games booths, thinking to herself for a moment. "I don't know. Is there any game you had in mind?" She asked, really only wanting to play the one game for the wolf and go on more rides.

"He's cute." Ellie said, smiling, as she patted Fritz head.

Placing Fritz down, Jace bent down and whispered. "Hey, why don't you go home, kay? Watch Nala for me and make sure she doesn't ruin the house." He told the pup, who whimpered, but ran off towards the clock tower.

He looked at Ellie as she told him that she loved spinning rides and roller coasters. "I love rides that spin, but, uh, I can see if you don't like them..I like roller coasters, too."

"Ah. I'm fine with anything. So, I'll let you choose the ride." He sheepishly smiled.

Morgan shrugged. "Not in particular. I'm simply here because they won't allow me to open the library. I'm not the most sociable person around." He did grin at her comment about being creepy. "Creepy, now, is it? My, my, but someone doesn't hide their tracks very well. Just kidding. Odd comments generally come my way." He wiggled his bare toes. "Especially with the not wearing of the shoes."

He watched her face for a second before crossing his arms with a smile. "And here's my turn to be creepy. You look like a girl fixin' to go on a few more of them steel death traps. So, what's your poison? There, now we're even in the creepiness factor."

Jace looked to the Zipper, it was three rides down from where they were. A smirk appeared on the boys face. "Race ya there!" With that, he ran off towards the ride. He was quite fast, being small and light weight, plus he's on a junior track team. Lot's of running practice.

It was quite unusual for Jace to be so social. He would typically bury himself in a good book rather than talk to people. Maybe it was because it was soon to be the start of a new school year. He probably decided to try and stand out a bit more as it's his last year in Middle School.

Chloe blinked a few times. "Ehhh?! What do you mean 'someone doesn't hide their tracks very well'??" She was slightly confused. Did he mean when she blushed? Did he see that?! She shook her head, then looked down. Wow. He really isn't wearing any shoes. Does he do that often?

Morgan was staring at her again, then he crossed his arms with a smile. "And here's my turn to be creepy. You look like a girl fixin' to go on a few more of them steel death traps. So, what's your poison? There, now we're even in the creepiness factor."

She looked around for a bit, trying to spot a ride. Steel death traps, huh? Someone's not a fan of roller coasters. She cracked her knuckles, something out of habbit. "Let's see..How about..That one!" She suggested, pointing to Evolution.

Walking to the ride, Chloe thought for a moment. Not sociable. Huh? Like that little clock tower boy. She gave it another minute or two before she spoke. "Well, why don't you try and be sociable?" She asked him, with a questionable look. "I mean, I've only seen you work at the Library mostly during Summer and Spring. And you're there from opening til closing, right? So what do you do when you're not working at the Library?" She paused, her eyes widened a bit. "Ah, that might be a bit too personal. We've only just meant. You don't have to answer that." She quickly added.

After thinking for a bit, girl couldn't help but let out a small giggle. "I'm sorry, but you're like the wolves that live behind my house. But the opposite. They're only around during the Fall and Winter. You're only around during Summer and Spring..." She went quiet and looked down. "Ah! I'm sorry for saying something weird. Most people around here don't like it when someone talks about the wolves..." Her smile slightly faded. Was he one of those people? I'm saying sorry too much... She sighed.

Morgan smiled. "I'm just...not much of a people person, I suppose. Communication never really did come very easily, and now that it's just me, it's gotten even harder." He smiled as she began to stutter over her own words.

"There's nothing wrong with being curious. Knowledge makes the world go round, and it's why we discover new things. When I'm not working, I'm usually lurking somewhere that has animals, or holed up reading." He left out the part about hanging around the cemetary. That would just be weird to mention. Wolves are one of nature's most misunderstood creatures. We're lucky to have them around. They're apart of this community, even if people don't actually realize it." He told her after some thought. He looked at her as the ride started. "Do they hang around your house often? The wolves, I mean. I would think that meant you're quite close to the woods then?"

He almost said "we" instead of "they". That would have been really akward. He'd need to watch his words. But to find someone who didn't seem terrified of the Mercy Falls Wolf Pack that wasn't actually apart of the pack was interesting. He certianly hadn't expected it. He also thought she was adorable when she blushed. That was another odd thought for him. Being around Chloe made him feel strange, and he couldn't figure out if it was in a good way or bad yet. Then, with some abruptness, he asked, "You don't seem as afraid of the wolves as most people. Why is that?"

Chloe nodded subconsciously. "Ah, I have to admit I'm not a people person either. So I find it a bit funny at how easy it is to talk to you!" She smiled, as they neared the ride. If he called these steel death traps. I wonder if he's scared to go on them. I don't want to force him too. She pondered, but they were already seated and getting buckled in before she could say anything. Too late now.

"That's true, knowledge is important...But that's all you do? Hang around animals and read? What about when you're gone all Winter? What do you do then?" She asked, knowing the librarian who takes over his work when he's not there says that he leave town all Winter and most of Autumn. I wonder where he goes all that time. Hearing wolves being mentioned brought her attention back. "I agree. The wolves here especially are misunderstood, everyone thinks that ever since a few kids went missing a couple years back, it was the wolves fault. Everyone in town believes that when the kids went into Boundary Woods, they were killed by the wolves. I don't...." She mumbled, not knowing if Morgan even heard her or not.

At first the ride was pretty calm, as the spinning and swinging wasn't that fast. So it was easy to hear and understand Morgan. When he asked if the wolves hung around her house, she blinked. "Yeah, the Boundary Woods is at the edge of my backyard. So I see the wolves a whole lot during winter." The ride then picked up. Spinning, swaying, and going around faster now. Chloe couldn't help but scream, "Wooo Hooo!!!" with her arms up and laughing too.

The ride had finally stopped just as Morgan asked, "You don't seem as afraid of the wolves as most people. Why is that?"

This made the girl think some. "I guess it's because I was bitten by a wolf when I was ten. But that was just it. A bite on the shoulder and then it ran away. At first I thought it was going to eat me, I thought I was going to die that day. But I didn't." Getting off the ride, she stopped, having her back to Morgan. "See. I still have the scar from the bite." She told him, moving her hair out of the way and showing the faint scar on her right shoulder. She was wearing a black cami top, so it wasn't hidden.

She turned on her heels to face Morgan again. "It was strange though. I didn't cry at all. The bite hurt like hell, but the tears wouldn't come out." She shrugged, placing her hands behind her back and started walking. "So that's why I'm not afraid of them. That wolf didn't kill me. It might of just been scared and attacked me thinking I was a threat. But realized I wasn't and ran off. I don't know. I have no idea what wolves think of."

Her phone buzzed. It was her alarm going off. She took out her phone from her skirt pocket and turned off the alarm. It was now five thirty. An hour and a half before she needed to go back to work. "Hey. You wanna get something to eat? I mean, I have to go in a bit, so..."

Morgan smiled, but inside his head was working overtime. She'd been bitten as a child? Yet she didn't smell like a werewolf. That meant the one who bit her must have been one of the normal wolves. But it was odd for them to attack people. He pushed it out of his mind, he figured now wasn't the time to be worrying about it.

"Sure, do you have some place in mind?"

As the two were walking, Chloe looked around for a place to eat. They could eat at the Carnival, but food was expensive. The only places to eat in town were a pizzeria, a Mexican restaurant, a sushi bar, and a Chinese buffet. Of course there was also Meg's Café, but she didn't feel like eating a her work place, plus it was really suited for mornings. Pizza and Italian food sounded the best to her right now.

"Um, how about Vivito's Pizzeria. I feel like Italian, so..I mean, if you want to go somewhere else, we came." She said, begin considerate of what Morgan thought too.

Morgan couldn't help but smile. She was always speaking her mind and then taking it back, like she was afraid he wouldn't approve. It was charming. "I have no preferences, Italian sounds delicious." He told her. Being the gentleman he was, Morgan offered her his arm as the walked through the carnival. Sure, maybe it was weird, and she didn't have to take it if she didn't want to.

Despite all the scents around him, there was one that continually stuck out to him. Strawberries mixed with hay. There was also a hint of something that made him think of a fresh spring rain. It made him smile even while it unnerved him how intoxicating Chloe's scent was.

Seeing Morgan offer his arm to her, Chloe let out a small laugh. "Ah. Quite the gentleman, I see." She gladly took his arm and the two continued walking around the carnival. At least until they can across the exit and left.

They walked down the street to Vivito's; it was a quiet walk. Chloe had absolutely no idea of what to talk about. Which always had made her a bit uncomfortable. With her two best friends, she was a chatter box, almost never shutting up. But around other people, especially ones she didn't know well, she tended to be awkwardly silent.

Upon entering the pizzeria, Chloe looked around for a table. The restaurant was self-seated, so they didn't have to wait for a table. Unless the tables were all filled and luckily there was a table near the window. "Hey. I see a table over there."She pointed to it, while releasing her arm from Morgan's. She went to the table and sat down, picking up one of the menus that were already on the table.
