Aoiro Hoskei's Story

"can falling really do that?" Aoiro asked from below them.

He too had fallen, but his more as a result of Elliot's falling. Currently he was sitting on the steps below them in an odd postion. It was clear he hadn't moved after falling, and his eyes sparkled as he spoke possibly from tears that he may have cried as he fell. He stared up at them blinking then smiled, and pushed himself up

"Ohai there are you new?" He directed towards Bill. He liked her hair color it was like his but not as bright. He glanced over to the one who knocked him down. He already knew him he was in Karuko's class maybe this girl was too.

He smiled sweetly waiting for an answer.

Bill laughed as she watched him stretch. 'Wow... He's really flexible..' She muttered silently to herself, then just smiled faintly. She looked at the other people in the hall, slightly staring them down. They turned away, Bill sighed. Then she looked at the boy which had seem to fall too. "Oh hi there! I'm Bill, and yes, I'm quite new! And you are? Actually screw that, come with us to the cafeteria!"

She blinked as Elliot dashed forward and kept the door open for her. She giggled "Being a gentleman are you?", she asked in a rather sarcastic voice, then made a lady-walk into the cafeteria, and ran up to the vending machine, looking through the chocolate bars that were there. "Even though mint is my favourite type of candy, I feel like i want some chocolate." She said, tapping her finger on the display glass.

(they're heading to the caferteria for an event)

Aoiro stared speechless at Elliot. Blinking consistently. He seemed really upset, and Aoiro didn't know what to do. glancing around a few times he finnaly settled his gaze on Elliot again.

"No really I'm fine" he proved this statement by getting up brushing himself off and giving Elliot a huge smile.
"Are you going to the event?" he added trying to be casual still smiling

"I'm eager to meet the new students"

He glanced behind Elliot at the girl by the machine. Then back at Elliot.

(Actually its in the gym... xD But yeah.. Events are cool B|)

Bill walked back to the two with a pocky box. She looked at Aoiro, he was almost her size, except she was a bit taller. She blinked and extended the pocky box towards him. "Want some?" She asked, smiling brightly, then she looked at Elliot. "You can take some too if you want." She nodded.

"Anyway, whats up with this event? Sounds cool." She nodded slowly, nomming her pocky as she looked up at the cieling lights, which were about to go out. "Pcht. Haunted house games." She muttered silently to herself.

Aoiro blinked as the girl approched

"Oh? Me.. uhm ok" He took out one and nibbled on an end of it
"Thanks uhm..." it occured to him that he didn't know her name. Wow he must look stupid accepting food from a total staranger. He stared at the pocky blinking. It seemed safe to eat, didn't taste bad plus she seemed like a real nice girl.

it was about then when Michael came over, Aoiro knew him too he was also in Karuko's class. He smiled up at him and greeted him

"Ohai" ^^.

and then the lights went out and Elliot started ...panicing?
Aoiro didn't like the dark or haunted houses sorta actually believed in ghosts. He clung to the arm nearest him wishing he could find someone he knew.

"..."

Bill remained silent, then she looked at Michael, who had came up. "Oh-hey there boy that left earlier who's name I don't even know." She giggled, then blinked as the lights went out. She tilted her head, listening to what Elliot had to say.

"Who scares who first... I'm not scared easily, unlike my sister, I don't really pay attention to this. Seen too many horror movies in my life, nothing I can't handle." She muttered silently to herself, and continued nibbling on the pocky. However, as soon as Elliot began shaking, she almost choked on her pocky, and had to spit it out. She felt like saying something rather rude, but kept silent instead, mourning the death of her pocky. "Rest in peace."

Bill blinked as she heard Elliot fall off the steps, AGAIN. She sighed, trying to find him, however, the darkness didn't really play in her cause. She moved close to the wall, and slowly made her way towards her classmate, holding onto it for guidance. However, not so luckily, she faceplanted the wall infront of her. "Oww! Fu..-" She quickly shut her mouth before she began cussing.

"I hate this game." She said "If this is a game. Or its a prank. Probably. Possibly." Bill nodded slowly, taking out her phone and searching for the lantern function. Luckily enough, she hadn't deleted it, but her battery was too low for it to work properly. It seemed more like a fading mood-light, but it was still better than nothing. She managed to find the light activation buttons, but none of them worked. "This sucks."

Bill remained silent, but slightly freaked out when Elliot approached her. "Oh, its just you.." She let out a long sigh, then smiled and followed him. When they found Aoiro, she was even more happy, atleast everyone.. Well, almost, was okay.

She blinked as a blue glow-stick was fastened around her neck. She frowned slightly. "We look like a dog gang from cartoons, ya' know. Two midgets, one is cute, the other one is mean, and a spazzy-fluff-ball." Bill giggled at the thought, perhaps she could write a story about that when she got back home. But right now, she was supposed to focus on not tripping and bringing the whole 'gang' down with her.

Then she realised, Michael still wasnt there. "Oh, give me a moment." She got out her phone and turned out the, BARELY flashing light. She pointed it around the room, untill she was able to locate Michael. Her 'collar', glew pretty brightly too, so perhaps if he could find them, he'd manage to catch up?

Aoiro followed the others still a little uneasy. He liked them for the most part but really wished he could find his friend Karuko. He hadn't seen him since much earlier that day and due to the current events wasn't sure whether or not he would see him again.

Aoiro frowned and helped by taking out his own cellphone and turning on the light on thier path. It was blue like his hair and had a cuwte charm dangling off it. In actuality it looked pretty girly which never bothered him much but it might seem odd to the others. hopefully they weren't paying attention to that matter.

Staring at the phone he thought of a way he could find his friend. He could easily text him. But would that be weird.Karuko might think he was too paranoid. It was after all only just a little black out. Aoiro clicked off the contact name and shinned the light on the floor again.

Bill sighed and shrugged. The rave-stick did glow, so she really didn't have to use that pityful flashlight she had on her phone. She turned back to Aoiro and Elliot. "So.. Where exactly is the gym? Second floor? Ground floor?" She asked, not showing much interest in her words. She stretched, looking around, it was still dark, and it actually was becoming kind of creepy. Maybe there was some sort of special event that the guys forgot of?

"Perhaps they're having a halloween party... One month... Late..." Bill muttered underbreath, narrowing her eyes. She saw a faint light from a large room in the end of the corridor, which seemed ridiculously long, due to the lack of lighting. She twitched slightly as a breeze passed right through her hair, much alike an open window. It definately looked like a late halloween party.

Feeling bored, Karuko gazed around the darkened gym, searching for the new girls. Strangely, he could not see them, even using the flashlight on his iPhone. Surely Aoiro would be there? Nope. Therefore he edged his way over to the door and silently went through the door and into the corridor. "Where on Earth are they?" he mumbled to himself. "They should've arrived in the gym ages ago. Probably the blackout." He made his way across the corridors, down stairs, up stairs, all using his bright phone light that he pointed at the ground.
Eventually Karuko came across a pair of feet, and looking up he saw Aoiro. In a surge of relief, he went and hugged his friend. Then, thing better of it, he backed way. "Sorry man, I was just so pleased to see you 'cuz I was really bored and..well, you know." he stammered nervously. After that he looked behind Aoiro and spotted Bill, Elliot and Michael. "Guys!" he exclaimed. "So where on Earth have you been?!"

Aoiro could see much better now with the glow of the lights of phones and glow sticks, So he didn't need to follow voices anymore.

"So.. Where exactly is the gym? Second floor? Ground floor?" the girl asked

Aoiro thought for a moment "it should be quite near us I don't remember going near any stairs when I got lost" He replied trying to be helpful and added in a soft smile. Then two arms came around him. Aoiros eyes got big almost in a minute of panic before he realized just as the boy let go who it was.

"Sorry man, I was just so pleased to see you 'cuz I was really bored and..well, you know." Karuko said as he backed away from Aoiro

Aoiro's smile got bigger as he finally found his friend. He patted his shoulder "Thats alright I'm really happy to see you're safe" which was true relief had spread throughout Aoiros whole body. The dark wasn't scary anymore and plus they were all together. He turned facing the others.

Aoiro stared at Elliot as he rambled on wondering if it was just in the taller boy's nature to be so talkitive or if he was just particuarly hyper this day.
He didn't know what scooby doo was but wasn't sure he like the idea of being called "scrappy doo" it sounded odd to him. He tried to push the thought away as he watched Elliot attach numerous amounts of glow sticks together.

Then focused on Karuko and the girl

"First, I doubt this place is haunted, its not like there was a prison or a hospital here before the school. Second, why am I Velma? I mean, I know I'm tiny and can be a smartass realist sometimes but... Oh whatever." she said

It striked him as odd wasn't someone called Bill the person Elliot said was velma. Then it hit him and before he could stop himself Aoiro asked

"Wait a sec your name is Bill!?" he felt stupid the minute the words came out and wished he had said them quieter. gosh he was such a fool. What if the girl ...Bill.... thought he was poking fun at her. Worse that this had to happen in front of Karuko. Aoiro was so ashamed staring at his feet cheeks flushed with embarrasment at his careless comment.

"Thats alright I'm really happy to see you're safe" said Aoiro as he patted his friend on the shoulder, which made Karuko grin. Then Elliot said something about Scooby Doo, and Karuko laughed at the thought of being Fred, who was really the team leader of Mystery Inc. Then he felt something being fastened around his neck, before realising it was a luminous green glow stick, which he began to fiddle with absent-mindedly. Once Elliot put on his glowing earrings and switched on the belt lights, the group really were glowing brightly. But Karuko almost laughed out loud when Aoiro spoke, "Wait a sec your name is Bill!?"
Suddenly there was a help as a girl came flying into Elliot, knocking him over, dropping the lantern and causing all of them to become soaking wet. "Crap, dude, my glasses flew off. At least I'm still glowing." said Elliot quietly. He began searching and soon found them.
"God! Are you guys OK?!" Karuko asked anxiously, since he was always worried when someone got hurt. He held out his hand to help them up, while examining the girl to see if he recognised her. "Maybe you could help us in getting to the gym?" he asked hopefully, gazing down on the girl. "I just came down from there, but I seemed to have taken the long route and I have no idea which way to go now."

Bill looked at Aoiro when he called out her name. She smiled, many people usually got that reaction after hearing it. "Actually, its Billie. But I'm not very girly, so I go with Bill. Plus, its shorter and easier to write AND say." She nodded at him. She seemed pretty calm, but as soon as a girl came flying in, she quickly hid behind Michael, but soon realised that it wasn't a monster, or a 'Giant-Sushi-Lobster-Thing-Attack'.

Bill sighed and peeked out, then talked away from Michael. "Err... Right. Sorry." She muttered and looked at Kinery. Suddenly, she came to the realisation that it was Naomi's friend, or atleast, LOOKED like her. She blinked and came up to the girl, offering her a hand to help her get up. "You're Naomi's friend, right? I'm Bill." She said quickly, smiling at her. Then she looked at Elliot, and offered him her other hand.

Kinery laughed brightly at the blue-haired boy. "You're pretty fun, huh? I think it's totally great when boys screw up~" She teased whole-heartedly. She then clapped her hands together, her eyes seeming to almost sparkle. "Ah mai goodness! I'd love a glowstick!" Her mouth turned into a wondering 'o' as she accepted the gift cheerfully before staring down at it, her head tilted slightly to the side. "So... beautiful... why... must you give... me these things. Best creation of mankind since like, microwaveable popcorn and cotton candy." The fem put her hands on her hips and nodded resolutely.

Koe laughed merrily. "You're such a clutz, little Elliot, a whole lot worse than me!" She then tilted her head, stamping her foot on the ground. "Nah, I totally just forgot to take my pills this morning! Yo, don't just go disappearing without us!" The brown-haired girl turned back to the boy she had just spoken to, her eyes gleaming with mischief. She merely grabbed his arm, attempting to drag him off after Elliot so they could get started on this newly discovered (by her, since she had no idea that the gym was hosting said game) activity. "Billll~" the girl whined playfully "grab the others and let's go!!" That same cheerful smile returned to her facials, her eyes closing as they always did when she made the action, still tugging on the blue-haired boy. "By the way, you should all tell me your names so our acquaintanceness isn't so awkward!"

Rolling his eyes at the two girls getting into a conversation, Karuko wandered over to the wall and randomly started to stroke the wallpaper in his boredom. Then he heard Aoiro say, "wha...wai...you're not mad?" and really did snigger at his friends question. He edged away as Elliot started to spin round, just in time as he bashed against the wall were Karuko had just been standing.
Eventually the group decided to resume making their way towards the gym. The girls lead the way, and soon Bill ran off ahead. At that moment Karuko jogged up to Kinery and grinned. "Hey..." he said cheerfully. "You asked us to tell you our names so...Hi! I'm Karuko." Holding out his hand for her to shake, his grin widened.
As he didn't meet girls that often, Karuko was always sort of sheepish around them. Well, he wasn't exactly nervous but he acted strangely. His face always had a big grin on it and he felt obliged to be as polite as possible. Maybe it was just how he was brought up. However some girls weren't like that, some girls were just different with Karuko.

Bill just laughed, Naomi's still 'frightened' expression over the fangirls kind of made her giggle. "Its nice to see you alive, sis'." She gave her a quick nod, before she made her way back to the gym. Or atleast, she THOUGHT the gym was there. Without a moment of thinking, the girl just kept on walking.

"Tuxedo Mask, huh.." Billie thought. "So like, you just met Tuxedo Mask, or a guy like Tuxedo Mask, and all you're worrying about is... Fangirls almost clutching out your hair?" She said sarcastically, as she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings. "Oh between, that friend of yours is waiting for you in the gym, she must be worried since her 'Naomi Senses' were acting up." Bill giggled, stumbling slightly as she did. Her head felt kind of dizzy, but just for a brief moment.

The girl just kept on walking, untill she bumped into a door. It was rather large, but through the window could be seen some pretty lights. She opened it, and peeked inside, quickly sneaking through. The room was full of colorful lanterns, and there were various amounts of chairs, gathered up in seperate circles. She tilted her head, this was nothing like in her old school. The girl shrugged and took her sister's hand, and came up to Elliot and the others. "I'm alive! I think. Well if not, send me some flowers on my grave if they find my walking body." She said.

A laugh made him look up the other girl was speaking to him

"You're pretty fun, huh? I think it's totally great when boys screw up~"

He blinked his actions saying "excuse me?" as he stared up at her but her attention was gone again as she in many words thanked Elliot for the glowsticks with some mention of popcorn
Aoiro just blinked this by far was the weirdest day ever. And he had had quite some weird days before. But this one jsut topped it. He rubbed his eyes wondering if it was a dream and looke dup to see the girl was looking at him again.

Aoiro froze he didn't like the look in her eyes he couldn't even speak a peep before she grabbed his arm and commenced to drag him through the hall in whatever direction Elliot had gone."Karuko!" >.< his thoughts screamed

My mistake he thought She's worse than Elliot

"Billll~" the girl whined playfully "grab the others and let's go!!" she said still pulling on his arm He felt like a plushie or some badly taken care of pet.

"By the way, you should all tell me your names so our acquaintanceness isn't so awkward!"


Aoiros expression shifted from freaked out scared to a look of irritation "Like I wou-"

"Hey..." Karuko said appearing out of nowhere stopping Aoiro in his tracks. "You asked us to tell you our names so...Hi! I'm Karuko." he was holding his hand out to the girl with a huge smile that Aoiro loved to see.

it changed his mind and calmed his expression blushing and staring at the ground sheepishly

"Aoiro Hoseki..." he said his voice almost a whisper. "class 2C"

Kinery rolled her eyes with a chuckle. She then waved to the new guy she hadn't seen before. "Karuko. Nice to meet youuu!!" She grabbed his hand cheerily, shaking it with a smile plastered to her face. Her eyes then lit up. "Well fine then, Ao. I'll just take him instead if you're going to be a spoil sport." The fem chuckled, deserting Ao and latching onto Karuko's arm. "Let us frolic!" Koe then raced towards the gym with the boy in tow, giggling quietly as they went. "Ha, sorry for that. You're just another likely candidate to play with." She stuck her tongue out a bit at Karu. "You and I, we're going places kid.... Mainly the gym." That same sweet chuckle returned, and she slowed down a bit. They were almost to the doors anyway.

"I'm in class 2A, too bad I can't be in your class! That'd be a lot more entertaining. But nah, I'm all by my lonesome little self. Left to my devices allll day. My life is so hard." She sniffled, then smirked playfully at the boy, obviously joking around. "Yeesh, all that pink Elliot boy wears is so blinding. Pink is okay, but too much of a good thing is never a good thing."
