Personalities: One thing that makes Patricia stand out is her natural grace. She is very poised on land, but is more comfortable when she's in the water. She always seems to be at ease and has is caring nature about her. She loves helping others and always tries to be there for her friends. While patience is her strong suit, she's not always at ease. In fact, she tends to worry a lot about those she cares about. One of her biggest flaws is the fact that she does put herself last and she's also very sensitive.
Patricia hates to hurt anyone and is her own worse critic. One might say she thinks with her heart rather with her head. Once hurt, she won't show it right away, but when she's alone, she lets it all out. Patricia tries to hide her true feelings from others in fear that she'll worry them. She prefers small groups to large crowds and easily shies away from situations that make her feel uncomfortable. While she is a pacifist, she does know how to fight for she wants to defend those she cares about.
Special abilities One of her abilities is to control water. This includes the ability to make it rain. However, Patricia can only use it for a limited time and once she's done, she'll collapse and be weak for several hours. Even when she regains strength, she'll retain a headache for awhile. So she doesn't always use this ability because of the drawbacks.
Another ability is the ability to heal people, but only minor injuries. A minor injury drains her of her energy, and if she tries to heal a serious injury it will result in her losing almost all her energy and she risks dying of it. So she's still a novice at this.
She's naturally empathic, which means she can feel other people's emotions and it affects her. This ability she has the most handle on. She's always wearing a stone pendent for protection and has developed 'mental shields' to help block out negative emotions.
Life Skills: She's a great swimmer and is on the swimming team actually. Her specialty is the freestyle, but she can do all strokes.
Patricia is also very artistic and paints a lot. She's won a few awards for her art pieces.

History: Patricia is the eldest of 5 kids with 3 younger brothers (two which are identical twins) and 1 younger sister (who is the youngest). Her family is considered upper middle class. Her mother was a stay at home mom and her father is a doctor. Being the eldest, Patricia very early one helped her mother with the chores and helped with her younger siblings. Everything was going along just fine until Patricia was 10 years old. Her youngest sister had just been born and her mother never quite recovered from that pregnancy. She was always so tired and Patricia grew up even more quickly. Eventually they found out her mother had cancer. Her father went on a guilt trip, seeing how he was a doctor. Unfortunately he was a pediatrician and her mother kept on insisting she was fine. The cancer was caught too late and her mother died when Patricia was 12. It was a hard time for the family, but other family members stepped up to help them out, including her late mother's younger sister. She had just graduated from college and decided to help out. She actually kind of took over as 'the mother'. Her brothers had problems with her at first, but Patricia was grateful for the help. Interestingly enough, her father eventually fell for her and they recently got married and she's expecting now. The family wasn't too happy about the union at first because of the 10 year age difference, but soon came to accept it, well most of them.
