Grant stands fairly tall at 6'1", and he is skinny. Although skinny, he is still fit and fairly muscular. His short/medium length hair is thing and kind of shaggy, and is light brown. He is cleanshaven, perhaps a bit of stubble. On this night, he wore sneakers, grey jeans, and a casual blue button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He also wore his leather jacket.
PERSONALITY
Most of the time, Grant is pretty carefree. To him, it's just not worth the energy to stress out about things so much. That being said, he still does have worries of his own. He also likes to party.
He is definitely not afraid of hard work. He had to save the money to get into school himself, and has been trying his best to be successful. For a few years, Grant worked as a cab driver during the day and a janitor at night, but once he started school, he got a job at a bar, where he currently works as a bartender.
Getting a degree in film had always interested Grant. Acting always seemed to be something he would enjoy, although in high school he never did any plays or anything, he didn't feel like he'd fit in with the "theatre kids" and they probably wouldn't have liked him, anyway. Once he started acting in short films in college, he found he wasn't bad at it, and that he really did enjoy it.
Grant loves old muscle cars and motorcycles, probably because his father's favorite thing to do was restore them. While Grant's car isn't very nice, his pride and joy is his 1947 Indian Chief motorcycle that he restored with the help of his dad.
Hobbies: Basketball, working in his garage, playing guitar
Role: Grant is one of the male actors playing in the film. He heard about other students working on the project, and volunteered, partly because he wanted to explore the abandoned house.
HISTORY
Family: Father, younger sister
Known Languages: English
Grant grew up in L.A. and lived there until he was 12. His mother ran off with another man, and his father moved he and his sister to Reno, Nevada. Grant had some trouble with bullies (that he was able to overcome), which helped lead to a slightly confrontational attitude. His father bet what he had left of his savings and ended up winning pretty big, enough to get his family out of debt and support his hobby of restoring old cars and motorcycles (which also raised some cash). Unfortunately, he didn't have enough cash to send his son to college.
Grant started working as a janitor once he graduated high school. He did that until he was 21, at which point he started working as a cab driver and also got a second job as a mechanic. Once he had enough money to at least put a dent in his tuition, he moved to [current town] after the local university accepted his application.
He started working on his degree in film, since it had always interested him, and he was a fan of movies, and wanted to take a crack at anything involving film. During his time at university, he worked as a bartender at a nearby pub. He has done that until the present, and he is currently finishing his last year of university.
Other:
Often smokes to calm his nerves, sometimes just tobacco, other times marijuana. Likes classic rock. Is ambidextrous.
