Rose look up at Kotaro. It seemed like she was always crying nowadays. She looked around her.

"No it's okay, im fine.". She sniffed. Her mood changed and her grinned widened.

" We did it!" she laughed, Rose stood up quickly wiping away the last if her tears. She promised herself she wouldn't cry anymore. She felt giddy with happiness, being away from Hell had lightened her mood greatly. She giggled just for the sake of it.

"we have to keep moving". She spoke softly as a movement caught her attention. She watched as a medicine lady approached them, Rose didn't shrink away from her she was just a normal mortal. She smiled warmly.

"do you need help?". Rose was suddenly very aware of her injuries, they must of looked a fright. Kotaros clothes were ripped and bloodied. And rose could feel her clothes hanging in odd places. She covered herself trying to mask the damage.

Kotaro watched as Rose's mood lightened up. He couldn't help but smile. He stood up and grasped his injured shoulder. He was a wreck. "Damn....what a ride." He shook his head. At least they were out of Hell. He chuckled and looked at Rose. Now looking at her happily, she reminded him of Amelia. He shook his head and cleared the thoughts. He had asked her the question earlier to see if it would click in her mind. Amelia didn't care what he was or would do. Neither would Rose. It obviously didn't click or else she would have guessed he had....some feelings for her.

He sighed and then followed Rose's gaze to the medicine woman. The gauntlet didn't glow, so he smiled. "Yes, are you in need of assistance?"

The medicine woman gave a smile and shook her head. "No, but you need mine." She said pointing to the wound on Zane's shoulder. "My name is Arial. I am a medicine woman. I also have many artifacts that are said to aid in healing procedures." She said. She walked over to Kotaro and reached into her bag. She pulled out a herb and placed i on he wound. It strted to heal intantly. "Morrowood root. Great medicine." She said. She turned to Rose, pulling her away fro a moment. "Your a demon aren'y you?" She smiled. "Don't try to hide it, I can tell by looking in your eyes. I can also see your feelings fo the man over there. My tribe were all demon worshippers. You have a longing to be human, I can sense it little one." She smiled. "Please, don't be scared, I might hve somethig that could help." She reached into her bag and pulled out th Avataral. "This was sai to turn any demon who held it and wished for it could become human." She smiled widely. "Its oonly a legend, but you might be able to turn human." She sid holding it out. "Just hold it and wish for it..."

Rose nodded as Kotaro laughed as well. The dud need some help, rose didn't even know where they were.

"where are we?" she mumbled in amazement as Kotaro's wound healed instantly. Her mouth popped open.

"we got lost, what city are" the lady asked if Rose was a demon. That caught her by surprise, she stumbled over her words feeble shaking her head. The lady continued,

"Demon?". Rose added mock shock to her voice, the lady told her not to hide it. She shot a worried look at Kotaro frightened to see his reaction. Rose watched as the lady reached inti her bag and pulled something out, Rose had never seen it before. She kept her hands clasped at her side. The chance was to much, she reached out her hand to grab the stone, something felt wrong. She grabbed the stone anyway, this is what she wanted more than anything. The stone was cold to touch.

" what do I do?". Rose looked at it marveling. " how does it work?"

Kotaro's eyes widened as the wound healed and was about to thank the woman when she pulled Rose to the side. He watched them and tried to make out what they were saying. He cursed as he couldn't hear them. When Rose shot a worried look, he gritted his teeth. Then he saw the woman pull out a stone. She saw Rose take it, a hopeful look on her face. "Rose?"

The woman's smile turned into an evil grin and her appearance shimmered. She changed into a woman with red hair, green eyes and wore a large robe. "Remember me Rose? Ariala? Your trainer?" She luaghed and jumped back. "HAVE FUN ROSE!" She shouted before disappearin in flames.

The stone suddenly flashed and large red tendrills shot out of the cracks around it. They suddenly gripped rose and the stone made its way to her head. Suddenly flesh started to grow from the tendrils and started to to grow. The tendrils lifted Rose up and surrounded her. They suddenly started to connect and make a humanoid form. It suddenly formed legs and arms, growing and growing till it was as tall as 4 stories. It looked like a giant blank human shape. Rose was trappd at the chest, restrainedby multiple tendrills and being sucked into the body of the large demon. It started to suck the deonic energy from her, draining her of power and suddely shifting. It seeme to grow hair and its eyes changed to mimic Rose's. It hair matched hers a well.

Kotaro watched as the woman changed then laughed and disappeared. "What-?" He was suddenly stopped as he saw something happening to Rose. The stone she had taken seemed to start turning into some type of beast. Large red tendrils started to surround and restrain her. "ROSE!" He ran toward her but the tendrils snapped at him and sent him to the ground. He got back up quickly and saw the tendrils start to take a large humanoid form. It was at least 4 stories tall. Rose seemed to be being dragged into it through the chest, the head of the beast changing to look like hers. "WHAT THE HELL!?"

Rose watched in amazement as the women's image flickered. She jumped back in fear as she turned inti a familiar face. She screamed and through a instinctual fireball at her. It was useless she left in a ball of flames. She was shaken, rose calmed her breathing in time to see a sudden flash. The stone got very hot. She dropped it immediately rubbin the burns on her hands. She screamed in shock as red arm like things shot out of the stone, they grabbed her. Her eyes widened in shock as the scorching heat touched her skin. She kicked agaist them as she was lifted higher.

"Kotaro". She squealed pushing agains the burning tendrils. She was surrounded quickly, Rose squeezed her eyes shut and tried to burn her way out of the grip. When she burnt them the response was opposite of what she was hoping. She was lifted higher above the ground and gripped tighter. She was trapped and she couldn't see anything but red, she didn't know where she was. Suddenly the tendrils changed.

A sharp pang of pain went through her entire body, and she whitered in pain. Her scream was blood curdling as she felt the power being sucked out of her. She breathed heavily as it sucked her power out. She kicked and thrashed in pain. Then suddenly very weak her body went limp.

The Avataral finished its transformation, its face becoming completely like Rose's. Rose had become limp and was now completely inside of the Avataral. It looked at Kotaro and roared, sendin a blindingly fast han down to try and crush him. As it did so more of Rose's energy was poured into it.

As the Avataral sent the large hand down to crush Kotaro the gauntlet glowed and suddenly lifted itself towards the arm, a large holographic apparition of the gauntlet suddenly appeared and met the Avataral's hand, fighting against it to keep it from crushing Kotaro.

Kotaro, the Avataral is Lucifer's super weapon.

Kotaro didn't ask questions but nodded and shoved the large hand down using the guantlet's large apparition. He then jumped on the hand and took out his sword, cutting a large hole through it then jumping into the sea of tendrils. He started to be dragged by them, toward the chest area where Rose was. He could already feel his life being drained.

As the Avataral sent the large hand down to crush Kotaro the gauntlet glowed and suddenly lifted itself towards the arm, a large holographic apparition of the gauntlet suddenly appeared and met the Avataral's hand, fighting against it to keep it from crushing Kotaro.

Then it gave them enough energy to awaken. Enough for them to seeit had beaten them. The last site they would see would be their beaten bodies bein drained.

As Kotaro fought to remain conscious, he caught a glimpse of Rose's limp form. "Rose...." He tried to reach for her but was too weak. He finally lost the fight and blacked out. He then felt another surge of strength, but not enough to fight. It was only enough to see Rose as they were being drained. He gritted his teeth. "Rose...I'm sorry...." He said as he was restrained. "I don't care that your a demon......your.......not a demon.......i......." he felt weak and was unable to continue.

Rose snapped back into consciences as soon as she heard Kotaros voice. She saw him reaching for her, she grunted and by sheer will power alone she reached her hand out and let it fall on Kotaros. She was out of breathe, she could barely feel anyone's emotions anymore let alone use fire. She watched in horror as Kotaro blacked out. She screamed weakly not being able to form coherent words. Kotaro started to speak, she closed her eyes. Kotaro apologized, she didn't have enough strength to disagree. He mumbled that he didn't are she was a demon, he gave up unable to continue. She squeezed his hand.

"I uh..". She might as well admit it, they were dying. "love you". She spoke softly unable to make her voice go above a whisper. She knew they had lost, Damm lucifer! Damm him to the deepest pit in Hell! She was tired from fighting so much. After all she had always thought she would be glad to die. Rose startEd humming softly.

Kotaro closed his eyes as he felt himself starting to black out again. He could feel his life fading away. So this is it. I'm going to die here.....now.....unable to even help someone who stuck close to me even at the risk of my own life. He felt more tendrils go around him. He then heard Rose's voice. He opened his eyes, just barely a blur. He felt her hand around his. He heard her start to hum. He then thought of Amelia. "Not.....again...." He said just barely over a whisper. He started to struggle. "......I'm not going....." He managed to free his other hand. "......To let another person....." He broke the tendrils around his upper body. ".....DIE BECAUSE OF ME!!!"

He grabbed Rose's arm with one hand and the reached outward with the other. He was so weak, but he kept going. He grabbed a part of the tendrils that made the chest of the demon and yanked with all that was left in him. He tore a hole through it, sunlight breaking through. He looked at Rose. "I......" He felt himself fading again and closed his eyes. He yanked on Rose's arm and pulled her free of the tendrils, throwing her out of the demon. He then grabbed the stone that was still connected and yanked it free of the tendrils. He screamed as the stone was crushed and the tendrils started to burn. They were competely engulfed in flame. the tendril holding him went limp just as he blacked out and he started to fall to the ground.

The Avataral let out a roar of pain as it felt Kotaro start to figh back. As the tendrils were ripped apart it let out a blood curdling scream and started to burn. The it felt Rose get thrown out of it. It caught her in its hand but the arm suddenly fell off, falling to he ground and cushioning her fall. The Avataral let out another scream as Kotaro crushed its core and it went into flames. It felt Kotar's body black out and go limp before it di as well. His body fell through the crumbling form of it as it fell apart. Finally, it lay in a crumpld heap that burned away in flames. After the flames cleared, Kotaro's body was in the middle of the ara where it had burned. His clothes were almost burned off and his body beaten and burned. Rose was merely set down as the arm disintegrated. Kotaro had nearly been crushed.

Lucifer watched as the Avataral was beaten. he said nothing as he walked back to his thrown. When he reached it, he sat down and closed his eyes. it had been an eternity since he had needed to rest, and now was the best time. before he was going to lay siege to the Earth.

After the Avataral burned away, Kotaro awoke. He could barely breathe, his body was wrecked. He was sure he had many broken bones, and that he suffered head trauma. He tried to move but was met with a sharp stinging pain. He screamed as he moved his arm forward. He tried to drag himself to a nearby building to help himself up, but stopped just a foot away. "Damn it..." He tried again but blacked out almost instantly.

Rose didnt want to live any more she didnt have any reason to. She was growing weaker and her humming faltered. She felt Kotaro grip at her arm, she didnt move she let herself drift off to sleep. She felt a falling sensation. She guessed she was falling back to hell. She couldnt die completely anyway. She would just go back to Hell. She lay still hearing blood curdling screams and yelps of pain. She assumed that it was her memory playing back for her the screams of all the innocent people she killed. Rose hope death would greet her soon, she couldn't take anymore. She suddenly heard a surgue of power go through her body, she cursed. She knew she wouldnt die now. She heard Kotaros voice near her, Rose had to check if he was okay. She slowly opened her eyes. Her body and mind was exhausted. Rose watched in horror as he tried to move his burnt mishapen body.

That snapped her back to reality, she had to help him. She sat up to quickly and her head rushed. She crawled over to Kotaro shaking off the now limp tendrils. She rolled him onto his back gently.

"Kotaro? Kotaro?" She could only manage a whisper. Her voice grew more frantic as he didnt repspond. " Kotaro!? Kotaro? Dont leave me.. Please, For me? Wake up." She craddled his head, she had to find help asap. "For Amelia" She whimpered. Rose sniffed holding back tears. He couldnt die. He couldnt! She would allow it. Rose stood up.

"Stay right here" She told him, Rose ran to the nearest building, surely people would have seen what just went on.\

"Help! Help" She screamed continualy turning around to check on Kotaro.

Kotaro heard a voice. Two voices at once. One was frantic, scared, continuously calling his name. The other was dark, foreboding, cold. He was in a never ending darkness, a dark form in front of him. It held out its hand and a skeleton's hand appeared. "It is time." Kotaro reached for the hand when suddenly there was a bright light behind the skeleton. A figure walked out of the light, clad in white robes. Kotaro stared at the figure, not realizing who it was till it spoke.

"Hello Kotaro." Amelia said. She had a smile on her face.

"Amelia..." Kotaro said in awe. "Your.....your...."

Amelia nodded. She then turned to the skeleton. "Mr.Grim?"

The skeleton turned and nodded.

"Can you do me a favor? Let me show him something first." Amelia said.

The skeleton nodded and disappeared in the darkness. Amelia looked to the side and the darkness suddenly split, revealing a window that showed the earth. Kotaro saw his body, mangled and burnt. There was someone over it. "Rose...."

Amelia nodded. "She love's you Kotaro. She did knowing that you hated demons, she did even when you threatened to kill her." She smiled. "She is a good person." She chuckled. "You saved her even at the cost of your own life, even though she's a demon." She looked at him. "You've fallen for her."

Kotaro looked at the window and looked down.

"There's no need to feel bad about it Kotaro. I'm glad you moved on." She said lifting his chin. "You should go to her. She is in quite a fit."

Kotaro looked into Amelia's eyes. "But I'm..."

"Just close your eyes and fight to get back." She said hugging him. "Go make sure she is no longer sad."

Kotaro closed his eyes and was suddenly hit by what felt like ten thousand rocks. He coughed and opened his eyes. He was in a city, Rose's voice calling for help. He coughed again and grabbed his shoulder as he sat up. He was breathing heavily and he felt completely drained.

A man in a nearby building opened the door to see the carnage. "What the hell-?" He saw Kotaro on the ground and rushed over. "Are you alright son?" he asked, not daring to touch him. He then saw Rose and motioned for her to help him. "Come on! Help me get him inside!"

Rose searched frantically for someone, anyone. She whimpered looking back every so often to Kotaro. A man came out of the building, her face lit up for a second. Rose sprinted over at an inhuman speed, she wasn't in the mood for facades. She knelt down beside Kotaro immediately as hiseyes fluttered. He coughed like his lungs had Been hit by 1000 bricks. She knew tears wouldn't help, Rose looked at th man desperation clear on her eyes. She grabbed Kotaros shoulders lifting hi. Up with difficulty. She shuffled toward the building, they laid Kotaro down gently running her hand along his cheek.

"Kotaro, stay with me. Don't leave me". She whimpered, roses head snapped up.

" do you have a phone? ". She snapped. "well, call someone!". She bit her tounge. She hadn't meant to be so rude. Her face softened.
"sorry, I'm just a little stressed." she looked down and ran her fingers through Kotaros hair.

The man took out a cell phone qnd dialed 911. "Hello? Yes we need an ambulance, a paramedic or something. We have someone who is gravely injured. Small cuts, multiple burns, and seems broken in at least 12 places. Its On chuguire road 12134." He hung up and looked at Kotaro with growing comfusiom as well as worry. "What happened out there? It looked like bloody WW3. And how did you run so fast?"

Kotaro coughed again and the guantlet started to glow. His cuts started to heal and the burns as well. His eyes fluttered open. "Rose?" His voice was weak.

Roses breathing sped as the gauntlet on Kotaros arm glowed. She rubbed off some dirt on his face gently with her thumb. She knew that wouldn't make any difference to his health she couldn't stand him looking so sick and injured. She heard the man talk, she growled at him. Rose wished he would just shut up. Rose couldn't think of an excuse, she fumbled for words. She decided to come out with the most farfetched excuse she could think of.

"were agents for the er.. Government". She spoke harshly, spitting her words. " it doesn't matter, you are in shock. Your seeing things". Her eyes widened when Kotaros eyes fluttered and she mumbled her name. She gasped.

"Kotaro!? I'm here, it's okay, your going to be okay" she sucked in a deep breathe when his wounds starting healing.
She ran her hands down his face, calming herself more than him.

"Government agents?" The man said raising an eyebrow. He shook his head. "This is insane" He started walking t'toward the door. I'm going to wait for the ambulance outside." He walked outside.

Kotaro turned his head to look at Rose. "Are...you alright?" He said, his voice still weak.
