"Why do you want to help me? I'm a demon and your a hunter. That's the way it is. I don't want you too. You scare me"

Kotaro sighed and looked down. "Because Amelia liked you, and even after she died you stayed next to her even when I threatened to kill you." He looked at her. He didn't see her as a demon now, only as someone in need of help. "Amelia would want me to help you." He shook his head. "And if that means I have to sacrifice my life I will."

He saw her jump and tears started to stream down her face. He unconsciously put his arm around her in a comforting gesture. "No need to cry. I'm sorry if I scare you, but thats the reason I was with Amelia. She didn't care that I scared others."

Kotaro began to argue again and that was when Sita realized it was hopeless. Kotaro wouldn't believe a word she said, much less follow her advice, and so when he stopped speaking, she decided to withdraw her blade from his neck. She would not kill an innocent who had done nothing to her. He'd done nothing wrong, simply lost his belief. She didn't understand him, because she'd been born, raised, resurrected, taught to worship He whom is Holy, and had never questioned her beliefs. She did not question them now.

When Rose stepped in between them, Sita stared at her. Her energy level was pulsing, but what she was fighting within herself was a fight bigger than Sita or Kotaro alone. The demon raised her arms and sprouted fireballs in her palms, Sita almost laughed aloud. Mere fireballs, a threat? Perhaps if Lucifer himself had sprung them. She did not say anything, allowing Kotaro to drag off Rose for the moment. She watched as raging emotions swathed their faces- greif, betrayal, anxiety, hurt- none of them good. She let herself relax. She'd found in her many years that when one relaxed in an agitated room, most would follow. A strange thing, but there it was.

Kotaro began to speak of how small a role he played in this fight. Sita raised her eyebrows but said nothing. Even a minor influence could affect the future in ways infathomable at the time. She remembered how she'd once spilled coffee upon a man in a rush on the road. Because of that single action, his great-great grandson showed up in a cave near the Pacific Ocean boardering Canada trying to kill her. But shaking away the memories, Sita ran her finger along her blade, gathering the few drops of blood and raising her finger to her nose before blinking. The blood immediately dissolved.

"You're planning to have the rouges fight with you? What exactly are you planning?" Her voice at the beginning was tense, but as she progressed, it mellowed into an exhausted, mild curiosity. She was tired of the fight over the two runaways. It was evolving into something much bigger than it should be. Two horses of the Apocolypse showing up? Lucifer himself? A Hunter Angel, a demon, and a demon hunter in the same room together?

It made her want to close her eyes and sleep for another twenty years, when perhaps this ordeal would be over.

Kotaro turned to Sita. "The way I see it, God and Lucifer can have a pitchfork shoved up their asses. If a demon and angel are in love, then I say let them." He walked over to one of the windows. "I'm going to go help defend them from the horses of the apocalypse, as well as fight Lucifer if I have too." He looked down. "I don't expect you to understand why I'm choosing this."

He looked out the window again and sighed. "Ashes to ashes; Dust to dust. We come from dust; we return to dust." He sighed again. "That's a humans life, we choose how to return as dust.In any way we choose, or in which the deities choose." He turned. "I'm going to choose how I return to the dust."

"Eternity is wasted upon the likes of you. Try as you might, immortality slips away. And you remain with only your shame." He gritted his teeth, looking at the gauntlet.

Rose sighed as Kotaro placed his arm around her shoulders.
" I'm not scared of you" she huffed. Rose felt bad lying she knew Kotaro was going to help her, she might as well not be miserable because of lying. Rose watched as Kotaro turned toward Sita. She agreed wholeheartedly.

" exactly" rose chimed in softly, she wouldn't let herself be in such a foul mood. Rose let herself feel Sitas emotions. She was bored......no wait, tired. Rose tried to feel the same way, let herself become bored with the situation rather than scared. Rose wiped the last of the tears from her eyes. She Felt pity for Kotaro, he would die. He would only live for a short time. She sighed. Poor Kotaro, he had lost Amelia.

"we can't just let the horses of the apocalypse ruin the earth! ". She glared at Sita, how stupid could she be. What a dumb question. " There are innocent people here on this planet. The dont deserve to die because of our stuff up". She crossed her arms.

Kotaro sighed and nodded. "I'm glad your not." He said. He saw her lighten up a bit and hid a smile. He looked at Sita, then to Rose. "Look, Sita isn't able to feel like demons or humans, their 'pure'." He put emphasis on pure. He walked Rose over to the kitchen. "Just calm down. She can't understand things like us, don't ridicule her for it."

Sita blanched at Kotaro's words, allowing her anger to slip away. What remained was incredulity. She cocked her head. She did not feel pity for humans, nor demons, but neither did she feel anger. Affection, perhaps? Yes, to certain humans, she did feel compassion. This Kotaro had some fight in him and had survived for this long, and for that she admired him, but only that did she admire. When Rose looked at her with such obvious dismay, Sita bristled. A demon dare look at her that way! She had no care for demons, none at all. She narrowed her eyes; but as soon as she understood what she implied, she sighed. "Lucifer shall kill you, soon as he finds you are in favor of the betrayers' love. I mean this only as a warning."
She raised her eyebrows at Kotaro.

"When did you become the angel expert? I can feel emotions as you can. And I thought you hunted demons," she asked him before moving onto the next subject. "The only way to get the Horses away from Earth would be to take yourselves and the two betrayers away from the Earth," she murmured. "They cannot be defeated, if that is what you are implying."

Kotaro turned to Sita, a look of determinaion in his eyes. "Then I will hurt him as much as I can before then." He said. He turned toward her. "You think your the first angel I've seen? I met one a while back. If I remember, his name was Micheal." He shook his head. "I hunt demons, yes, but Rose is unlike any demon I have met. Another thing is when I threatened to kill her, she accepted it and on multiple occasions since then offered her life to me to end." He glared at Sita. "if you can't kill a horse..." He turned to the window. "....You cripple it." He looked at his gauntlet arm. "I suppose you don't recognize this, or else you would have tried to retrieve it." He held it up. "David's sin."

Rose crossed her Ames when Sita spoke. She did not like this angel not one bit. The angel had waves of hostility pulsing out of her.

"I know he is going to kill me! He was going to kill me anyway." she grumbled. Rose scowled, it seemed she was forever angry these days, angry or terrified. Rose knew Sita would never side with her no matter how much for her Rose did. Her mood shifted when Kotaro complimented her, sort of. She didn't know if being unlike anything from your species was a good thing Or a bad thing.

Rose knew that you couldn't stop the horses of the apocalypse. But she wasn't going to run and she knew Kotaro wasn't going to either. She folded her arms again. Roses head cocked when she saw Kotaro gesturing to his gauntlet. She gasped when he said it was David sin.

Kotaro gave out an aggravated sigh and shook his head. These two just won't stop. He walked over to Rose and forced her to the couch. He then walked over to Sita and, against all his judgment of offending an angel, punched her in the face across the face, un-holstering his gun at the same time and pointing it at Rose. In not even a second the hand that had struck Sita had his sword in it and was at her neck.

"I'm starting to get tired of this damned bickering between angel and demon!" He said in a calm voice. He looked at Sita. "You apparently have a hatred for demons, as expected by all angels, but that's no right to treat the as lower beings." He turned his attention to Rose. "You need to start believing in yourself more. Your self-esteem is way too low. Stop acting like there is nothing you can do and no one likes you! That's just going to make it real!" He removed his sword from Sita's throat and the gun from Rose's direction, putting them away. "Now anything you two want to say to me?!"

Rose was still glaring at the angel when Kotaro pushed her back onto the couch. She looked up him,  why did he need the gun?  Did he think she was going to attack him?  Rose looked at Kotaro as he punched the angel,  rose was about to speak when she decided otherwise.

"Sorry.". She spoke clearly and stood up towards Sita.

" My deepest apologies Sita". She spoke sincerely 
"I shouldn't let myself hate your race,  you personally have done nothing to me.  I'll be better mannered from here on". She felt so formal,  well Kotaro did have a sword to Sitas neck.  She would have stood in front of it if she knew that Kotaro was even contemplating hurting the angel.  But rose knew he wouldn't.  Nonetheless she tugged on Kotaro pulling him away from the angel.

When Kotaro heard what Rose said he turned his head toward Sita. "Now you." He said before Rose pulled him away. He put the sword and gun away and allowed her to pull him away. If it came to it, he would fight the angel. He would fight an army of angels. He had nothing left anyway. He then thought of Rose. He turned to her and gave her a quizzical look. "Rose, can't Lucifer summon you? At will?" He said worried.

Lucifer was pacing in his throne room. There was still no sign of Rose, the angel, or that demon hunter. "Damn them to-" He stopped, a large grin spreading across his face. "Well, if I can't have them all...." He walked over to a large empty doorway. "I'll take the one I want to punish and do it tenfold!" He snapped his fingers and a violet flame began to appear in the doorway. "Rose." He smiled as his little demon was about to be summoned. He just hoped there was no one within arms reach.

Rose looked at Kotaro quizzingly. She didnt know, she regretted being a demon. Now more than ever.

"I don't kn....". She screamed. She clutched at air, trying to grab onto Kotaro. Suddenly she was transported to hell. She glared at Lucifer her breathing hitched. She grinder her teeth together. She thought innocence would be the beat option. Her eyes went doe eyed.

"Hello Lucifer". She couldn't totally keep the growl from her voice.

"how is the mission going, I was just shopping. Earth shopping is much better than any other shopping. I was actually just with a guy." she spoke nonchalantly. Her hands shook in fear and she hid them behind her back.

As Rose appeared Lucifer's grin widened as he saw where she had been through the door frame. He was even more interested in who he had seen. "Hello little one."

"how is the mission going, I was just shopping. Earth shopping is much better than any other shopping. I was actually just with a guy."

Lucifer's grin disappeared and was replaced with a glare. "Shopping. Yes Earth does have 'Angelic' shops. And the boy you were with, I bet he was a real 'hunter'. Am I wrong?" He started to circle her, a crimson flash going through his sunglasses.

As Rose started to scream and reach for him Kotaro also reached for her. "Rose!" His hand went right through hers as she disappeared. He gritted his teeth and punched a nearby wall, a large hole being made. "Damn it!" He turned to where she had disappeared. "There has to be a faint trace, if I can just amplify it, I can go where she was summoned..." He started to touch the ground with the gauntlet, looking for faint traces. "Come On! There has to be one!"

Rose trembled as Lucifer circled her. She became defensive.

"What do you want! ". She hissed, Rose felt sock to her stomach with fear. She worried about Kotato what would the angel do to him. She walked up to Lucifer and pulled her slight fingers through her hair. she hated being called little. An unlady like word escaped her lips.

"please. Do what you want with me". She winced, Rose wished Kotaro had killed her.

" Please don't hurt Kotaro or the rogue angel or demon. They didn't do anything wrong. Leave them be!". She commanded. Rose spoke staring Lucifer she didn't like the way his eyes flashed. "Please leave them be, leave Kotaro. Hes been through so much leave him be just leave him" Rose hissed through grated teeth. Kotaro continued to circle, she really didnt like being called little. She struck him. Punching his face hard. Roses hand stung, she shook it Out And glared at Lucifer.

She tried not to make eye contact she knew she would loose her temper and everything would go to hell. Literally. Rose didn't want to see his reaction. She winced closing her eyes.

Lucifer grinned. "I Just wanted to check up on you little one." His grin widened and his canines shined in the flaming light. "All I wanted was to make sure your doing as your told."

"Please don't hurt Kotaro or the rogue angel or demon. They didn't do anything wrong. Leave them be!"

Lucifer's gaze snapped to her and an eyebrow raised. "What?"

"Please leave them be, leave Kotaro. Hes been through so much leave him be just leave him"

Lucifer stopped circling Rose. "Are you protecting a hunter?" Then she punched him. His head jerked to the right as she did. He slowly turned back toward her. He raised a hand to strike her, but then stopped. "My god, your falling for the hunter aren't you?"

Kotaro felt a small string of energy next to the spot Rose had disappeared and placed the gauntlet near it. The gauntlet began to glow as a small energy surge went through the string and traveled till it reached Rose. He closed his eyes and started to see an image. He was now seeing through Rose's eyes and ears. She wouldn't know he was eavesdropping, but he would know whats happening. "Lucifer.." He growled.

Rose shrunk back in fear as Lucifer raised a hand to strike her. When he stopped short she found it hard tO suppress a grin. But she remembered immediately that they were just prolonging the inevitable. Lucifer Previous words swirled up in her head. ..your punishment will be server rose...her thoughts were interrupted when Lucifer asked a question. She fumbled for words. She didnt know how she felt,

" I don't know!" She hissed, she might as well tell lucifer
No matter how food a liar blahs was she couldn't fool him.

"why do you care!". She kept her eyes looking down if she looked at hik the eyes who knows what could've happen. Rose was on the edge of losing her temper she struggled not to kick Licofer right then.

Lucifer stared at Rose, his expression that of outrage. He hadn't expected something like this. "You've fallen for the demon hunter." He said. "This whole mission began because of a foolish thing called love Rose, and now here you are falling for one who hunts your kind!?"

He rolled her eyes.
"I know! Don't compare me to other demons". She hissed, she wondered what Kotaro was doing. "why do you care! I didn't get to do my mission. I failed. ". She really was about to hit lucifer,

"pleSe just leave them alone.". She murmured. She was freaking
Out her breathing hitched and fell. She started walking back quickly away from Lucifer.
"please please please" she begged, she was begging for their lives.

He rolled her eyes.
"I know! Don't compare me to other demons". She hissed, she wondered what Kotaro was doing. "why do you care! I didn't get to do my mission. I failed. ". She really was about to hit lucifer,

"please please please" she begged, she was begging for their lives.

Kotaro listened in to the whole conversation and stood dumbstruck. He couldn't say or do anything in this state, yet he wanted to call out and attack Lucifer. What the hell....

Lucifer snarled and grabbed Rose by the wrist, yanking her toward him and twisting her arm violently. "You think he would care the same way about you!?" His appearance suddenly shifted to that of Kotaro. "He would rather see you killed!" Even the voice was Kotaro's. "You want him safe!? You want him alone!? Oh no....He's going to die, and your going to do it!" He threw her to the ground and shifted back towards his original form.
