Awe, you're lucky you don't live here (East Coast USA). Hurricane Sandy is this tropical storm/hurricane that's hitting east coast USA. The eye is currently hitting NJ (where I live) right now, and there are 90 MPH winds, as well as a giant thunderstorm. I actually have to sleep in the basement because there's a high danger of trees falling into the house and/or the windows blowing out.

I live in North Ireland but I came to America to visit my brother who moved to New York a few years ago. OF CORSE as soon as I get here, a HURRICANE decides to basically try to drown us, and now a crane is dangling above the city. Brilliant. I am not a city person in the first place. T.T

Hahah I'm from USA as well, Pennsylvania, it's not nearly as bad as new jersey probably is, but it's been extremely windy and rainy all day.. I didn't have school today and I won't tomorrow either.

Gah, sorry for disappearing D: Hurricane Sandy devastated my town. Trees are everywhere, and nobody has power. The only buildings that have power are the hospital and the public library (which is where I currently am, posting from my phone - they offer free wi-fi). All of the attention is focused on helping the shore (which literally doesn't exist any more), so my town asn't even been glanced at. There are downed power lines everywhere, and some roads are so blocked by trees you can't even drive down them. Needless to say, I won't be very active for a while. If you want, I can make the last charrie necessary, since I will have Internet for at least and hour or so today.

I'm fine, don't worry. My house thankfully isn't surrounded by any trees, so everything turned out okay for me, save for the fact that I now don't have heating, power, or cell phone service. My community library is open all day and is offering free wi-fi, so I'm just hanging out here all day xD I made the last charrie; I can't upload a picture because I'm on my ipod, but, other than that, his bio is finished ^^ I hope he's okay.
