Introduction

Welcome to Corolla Hills, California. The town is nice, though. A small town/suburb nestled right on the coast of California, Corolla Hills is full of large and grand homes and green yards. Like the perfect small town. Which is sort of ironic, considering the town isn't that small in literal size. The population is, however. But either way, nothing in the world is perfect.

It's full of all sorts of different people. Rich, Middle Class, the poor. Diversity, really. Some are snobs, others are really generous. It just sort of depends on who they are. There are plenty of places to meet new people and just hang out. The most popular places would include the beach, the small park in the town, and DeSilvio's Bar and Grill. DeSilvio's, undoubtedly the most convenient, is owned by Mr. DeSilvio who as a result has become quite wealthy.

Corolla Hills High School. Nice, right?

Break dancing. It's practically as popular as football in this town.

The local mall, a large shopping complex that also houses Omega

The Preforming Arts Center, where all the young artists and such can show off their schools and maybe learn a few things. One of the things that is a hot commodity among many of the teenagers and young adults in the town is Dancing. Strange right? But the fact is, street dancing is like money in the town. It's just the culture. Or maybe just because of the sheer amount of parties and whatnot that most of the people who grew up here went to in High School. The guys can pull off some extreme break dancing moves and the girls... well, the way they dance should be illegal for anyone under 18.

The last, and only for those 18 or over, is Omega. The local and very modern night club, Omega is often recommended by many of the locals and is also owned by Mr. DeSilvio. It's full of life and even quite a few people from the city come in just to have a night in one of the best of California's night clubs.

Similarialy, tourism is a large part of the town's income. Considering quite a large number of people pass through Corolla Hills on their way and many just come for the beach, the town gets a huge revenue from non-locals. The center of town is filled with small shops and resturants, DeSilvio's being one of them.

The Corolla Complex, the town's equivalent to a mall, is a large indoor and outdoor complex near the beach that has a very modern and lively feel to it. It has a good deal of the town's stores and is a popular tourist destination in California. Here you can find all sorts of things, including Club Omega and a large open area with a fountain where you can see the town art of break dancing in action. Maybe even put some money in their hats. Someone even opened up an entire building in the Complex where these dancers can get together and do what they do best.

The Complex, while technically owned by the town, is really sort of owned by the Auditore and Sarinelli families due to their large sway with the mayor and the town council.

The Characters

In Corolla Hills, there are two main wealthy families that more or less own the town. The Auditore Family and the Sarinelli family. But it isn't some strange version of a modern Hatfield-McCoy relationship. Some members of the families are friendly to the other, some not so much. And then there is everyone else. Enough said. Keep in mind that this RP, while it does have set characters, is a SANDBOX RP. Anything can happen! So you have free reign over every aspect of your character as long as they aren't perfect. No one is perfect. Most of the characters will be in their teens to mid-twenties, as shown by the Face Claims. Some will be older. They can be practically anything you want; from the well-off lawyer to the High School Football Star to that guy who works the counter at the local Pizzeria. Have fun with them!

Also, I'd appreciate it if we could fill out the families first. Sort of central, y'know?

Characters from the "Other Residents" Section can be cousins or relatives of either family if asked for in the reservation. Some of these characters will have a set job or such to fill in a required position in the RP.

Now, for the main families.

The Auditore Family is a rather close-knit family (excluding the parents, who like to pick favorites), and the men of the family all have a fighting spirit. The more appropriate term would probably be badasses. They are all protective of one another and if you insult one, you insult all. Which is a very, very bad idea. Mostly made up of boys, don't screw with them. While parents aren't the most admirable, they do an okay job for the most part despite being metaphorically distant from their children. But when it comes to the heirs and heiress of the Auditore fortune, their loyalty to each other is unwavering.

The business of the Auditore family that has made them so rich is Blacklight Global Incorporated, a large multi-business Enterprise founded by Marcus' great-grandfather. Since, Blacklight Global has spread its roots into many different areas of business- everywhere from owning several large fashion moguls to its private military arm, Blacklight Global Defense. Throught use of a trust fund and it's large enterprise, Blacklight Global has made the Auditore clan rich beyond compare.

The area that makes the Sarinelli's competition? Trust funds and stocks. Starting generations before just as the Auditore's did, the Sarinelli family managed to weave the web of income that makes it so successful and allows it to compete against the business empire that is Blacklight.

The Sarinelli Family, like their Auditore counterpart, is also very close-knit. Unlike the Auditore family they aren't quite as protective of each other and often fight between each other. However, it appears to make them stronger than weaker with all the fighting. As long as it ends before it becomes too serious. They too have a certain loyalty to each other, although it may fluctuate dangerously as issues and new arguments arise.

The Rules

Ah yes, the fun part. The rules. Follow them and we won't have an issue.

1.) Roleplay Gateway rules come first. Respect 'em.
2.) You may request Face Claim changes for the residents or suggest new ones to put up. But please do not request a FC Change for either of the Families. It won't happen. All of those FCs were specifically chosen to be in the families.
3.) If you are absent from the RP for more than 3 days, I will PM you. If you do not respond to the PM within 24 hours, you will be removed and your character killed off.
4.) One the topic of that, this is a sandbox RP. Almost anything can happen within realistic boundaries. Which means characters can die, too.
5.) Reservations will last 48 Hours with a 3-Hour leeway. Please make your reservations in the OOC. Trust me, I don't bite :P.
6.) You may or may not be asked to take a character of the other gender if the ratio is that bad. Believe me when I say I've seen a 2:1 Gender Ratio. It's ridiculous. Don't join if you aren't willing to change if asked.
7.) I am asking for Semi-Literate Writers. I'm not asking for a lot, but at least 250 words minimum. I swear, it really isn't that much!
8.) That being said, I am also asking for good writers who are mature enough. This will be an adult-rated Roleplay. Swearing, sexual themes- fade to black please?, probable violence, alchohol and drug references, etc. will be in this roleplay. Oh, and keep your character within realistic boundaries, please? No uber-Batman here, thank you very much.
9.) Check your grammar, spelling, sentence structure, everything. Your writing doesn't have to be perfect, but I want it to be the best you can make it. I want as few errors as possible.
11.) The Reserve password is The Black Parade (MCR, anyone?) so that I know you read this :).
11.) Enjoy Yourself and be nice! It may be okay for our characters to be assholes, but not us. Be friendly. None of us will bite. Promise!

Jayson was listening to the others and helped Sofia's mother believe what Sofia said. She herself wanted to go change and celebrate. Jayson had thanked Rayna for the flowers again before quickly taking her leave and saying bye to the others. Jayson walked home it was still a nice day so she was glad she had decided to walk home rather than driving. Also she wasn't that far from home so she thought why not walk it. She had quickly made it home and changed into a different outfit. She put her hair in it's natural form with curls and deemed herself ready. he sat down texting Sofia and Rayna, 'Where are we going to celebrate girlies?' she wanted to relax and some have fun now that she was offcially done with high school.

Jayson also started wondering who else would be there. She guessed Talia would be and maybe Sofia's brother Joey along with her other brother Dante whom Jayson felt for whatever reason, attracted to. Tonight she'd have fun with her friends and would worry about the hangover later and by herself seeing as how her 'parents' weren't there. She was looking forward to knocking a few shots back with Rayna along with Sofia and enjoy herself. Tonight she'd leave the car home seeing as how by the end she'd probably be way too intoxicated to drive herself let along anyone else. She wasn't about to risk getting arrested tonight of all nights or die by a car crash. She'd rather walk home. At least then she'd be safer and if need be she may be able to help someone else.

She doubted she'd be the only one intoxicated but then again she guessed there would be others sober or at least closer to sober but she didn't want to have to rely on them to either. She's the one choosing to get drunk so why should she make others take care of her during that time? She shook that thught out of her head once recieving a text telling her the location and she left her house then started walking to where she'd indulge in her night of fun.

Rayna smiled shyly as Dante watched her intently she smiled back at him as he smiled at her. She bit back a grin at the fact that she knew that was one of the few things reserved just for her. She blushed, realizing how excited she was that they were alone.
“At your service, Milady. Would you like to go and spend time with me practicing in illicit activities?” He asked saucily, arching one eyebrow suggestively at her. She felt a blush creeping up her neck but smiled at him anyway.

"I missed you," She said, stroking his cheek as she slid in the passenger seat. As he came around the side of the car and sat in the drivers seat she but her lip and placed her hand on his. She leaned over and pecked him on the lips "I really do hae to get dressed but it will only take me a minuet" She said kissing him again. She ran her hand through his hair, occasionally stroking his cheek as they drove to her house.

"So I was thinking..." She began "I know we can't tell anybody, but maybe if we start hanging out together with our friends more in a friendly way they'll see how amazing we are together, then they can't help but want us to be happy together, I mean Talia loves you," She said before leaning in and kissing him on the lips as they pulled into a stop light, "And I... love you so..." She said mumbling the last part. She turned on his radio and laced her hand in his.

She sang along to the song, enjoying the nostalgia of the situation. Here she was, with one of the most amazing guys ever, listening to the radio, wind in her hair, it was amazing. She licked her lips as they pulled into her driveway. She giggled to herself as she pictured Ricardo walking into the house hollering his signature greeting. "Yeah," she thought to herself "Honey were home,"

As they walked into the living room she quickly handed him the tv remote and yelled "I'll be back in a minuet I need to get dressed." She quickly went upstairs and expertly put on some gold liquid eyeliner and some pale peach lipstick that gave her the goddess look she was going for. She quickly got dressed, slipping one one of her favorite new club outfit. She loved the way the outfit made her feel sexy. It hugged her body like a glove It showed off her body in an amazing way, but it didn't make her feel self conscious about her large bust. She slipped on her shoes and came downstairs.
"I'm so sorry I took so long," She said sitting next to him.

She felt her phone buzz and after shrugging apologetically "Its Jayson,"

Where are we going to celebrate girlies?

"She wants to know where were partying at," She quickly typed up a message.

As expected, the place was already bustling with children when Joey had arrived- especially those whose elder siblings had just graduated and then left in order to party at Omega. Of course, Joey has never been the sort to have any problem with a shop brimming with kids, even if they are all hyped up on sugary dairy treats. After all, the cheerful guy does rather well with younger generations. This is probably due to the fact that he, himself, is a rather childish individual, loving things like goofy jokes and silly cartoons or gags. Of course, contrary to popular belief, the young man does still have maturity in him- he just doesn't see the point in growing up too quickly. After all, people who are constantly rushing around, focusing only on the future, will never really appreciate what they have. They just keep planning for the future, living for the future, and therefore never actually living, because the future is an unattainable horizon.

Of course, that doesn't necessarily means that he puts much thought into living in the now. In the end, it may very well stem less from philosophy and more from having believed that he would die as a child. Anyway, the point is, although it has been strayed from, that Joey has no qualms with appearing to be somewhat childish, because it is better than trying to act more mature than he actually is. The young man makes a silly face at an infant who is facing him, causing the small child to smile and giggle, face lit up with glee at the simple action. When the parent turns around to see the source of the sudden laughter, he reverts to be smilingly serving ice cream to a small girl with short brown hair, kept back with a clip, innocent as you like. "I like your hair clip," he tells her sincerely, referring to the clip, which has a little plastic ice cream cone on it. The little girl beams at the compliment, accepting her ice cream before turning to her mother and bragging that the 'ice cream man likes my hair clip.'

"Can I have a strawberry sherbert?" one little boy asks, although he has a strong lisp, making it sound more like "Can I have a thtrawberry therbert?" instead. Joey nods and begins to scoop it when, out of the corner of his eyes, he notices a familiar girl with brown hair dancing down the block, and tries to restrain laughter at the sight of her. Still, he can't help a wide, dimpled grin from looking at it, before turning back and giving the little boy his sherbert. When he glances out the window once more, it is to see that the girl, Summer, is staring through the window and, from the look of it, blushing quite furiously. He can't help but think that she looks rather cute like that, embarrassed, even if he always prefers a smile to anything else when it comes to people.

He waves at her, ice cream scooper still in hand, before setting it down and gesturing for her to come in, rather than standing outside in the heat like that. After all, she may just get a sunburn to cover up that blush, making her face crimson for a few days, at least. Well, she's probably wearing sunscreen, or probably doesn't really burn, but it is still rather hot outside. He can't really scold people for going without coverage himself, because the young man very rarely wears sunblock- he doesn't burn, after all, courtesy of heritage. The guy merely tans, if anything, and even that takes a while- especially because he doesn't exactly make a point of trying to tan.
