|| Never Enough|| The Greatest Showman ||
When Yui next opened her eyes, her blood had mixed with the air from Aria' dragon. Together they controlled it, moving it in a slow arc around the room. "Wow," Yui gasped, her light bearing mark so luminous that it shone through the shirt she had adorned. Aria speculated as to whether or not they could beat the Black Reaper with these powers and Yui was confident that they could. "He doesn't have combo attacks," Yui pointed out with a smile. It was a shame that Mizuki did not trust enough in Yui to reveal her own fate. If she did, perhaps Yui would reassure her that she couldn't have children, that her uterus was non functioning, thanks to the efforts of Ira Shoku. "We can build on it," there was always room for improvement in Yui's opinion.
"It's my future," Yui huffed, uncertain as to why it suddenly bothered her so much. Yui wasn't going to pry, however, since she knew that Mizuki was tired and looked as though she needed a nap. No doubt her heart troubles were going to continue to elevate and lead them down a troubling road. Perhaps there was some bargain they could put forth, a heart transplant for a favor. The child was attempting to think strategically, but she had background nor experience to put plans into place. Yui would allow the adults to handle that, since she was only ten and had no knowledge of the real world. "Do you really think we can beat them with this power?" Yui looked down at her hands and opened and closed her fists.
Yui turned to Mizu when she addressed her, blood returning into the light bearer's hand. "Don't go past the second gate," Yui repeated with a nod. Noted, she wasn't even sure how she could unleash the second gate. "I don't want that to happen," there was a note of fear in her voice, recalling how the Matriarch had tortured her until Yui could no longer remember who she was. "I won't need to though, because Aria is strong and Xavier too!" Yui smiled, her eyes sparkling with faith and determination. Xavier appeared from around the corner and leaned against the wall, no doubt wondering what they were all up to. Yui couldn't see him though, she was busy practicing with Aria.
The child caught the chocolate bar in both hands and looked up, Aria was testing her reflexes. The child jumped over the first puff of wind and ducked underneath the second one, hitting the floor. "I'll protect it!" Yui squeaked, rising to her feet. This was a play fight, no need to worry. Yui formed a fist, a small blood knife appearing in her hand. "There," she whispered, the only weapon she would use and Yui had ensured that it was blunt so that there was no risk of harming Aria. She threw the knife, hoping to protect the delicious chocolate bar so that she could at it herself.
