|| Never Enough|| The Greatest Showman ||
"I'll come watch, but only if you and Ren promise to eat your lunch!" Had they tasted the food of paradise and could never go back? Yui certainly hoped not. When they were done, the three of them went down to the lab, but Yui had to wait in a wheelchair behind the glass wall, only able to look inside. She leaned forward in her chair, eager to catch a glimpse at the beautiful archway that would form. She watched, her eyes widening as Luna's body twisted to form the gate. Yui suddenly felt awfully sleepy, as though someone had drained her of her energy. After all, when Luna and Ren used too much light and needed to borrow more, they took it directly from the baby star. Yui struggled to keep her eyes open as Ren twisted into an exit, his body disappearing.
Yui's eyes slowly began to close, the child no longer able to stay awake. She slumped forward in her seat, one of the portable monitors beginning to beep to let Leo know that something was up. He was so engrossed in his experiment that he didn't notice the sleeping child until it was over. It wasn't detrimental, but Yui would need a light infusion to recover. The child was wheeled back to her room, where Ally was waiting, frowning when she saw that Yui was asleep. "She must have been tired," the nurse mused, unaware of Yui's situation. She helped the child into bed, tucking the blanket in around her. "All tuckered out from therapy," Ally replied, wheeling towards the bed. "Will Luna and Ren be back soon?" Ally asked, acting as though she wasn't watching when in truth, she was closely observing the actions the nurse was taking in case they proved to be hostile. Thankfully, she started the light infusion into the port without complications.
Yui woke up a few minutes later, wondering what sorcery had brought her back to her room. "Welcome back, we're waiting for Luna and Ren, they're still being tested." Yui nodded, perhaps relieved for once that it was not her who was being stuck with needles and the like. "I hope they're alright, I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open," Yui confessed, wondering when her angels would return. There was a knock on the door, Ronan entered, grinning. "Do you have permission to be out of bed?" Ally asked, cocking a brow. "No, but I was bored, so I figured I'd swing by. Where are Luna and Ren?" Ronan asked, running a hand through his hair. "They're taking tests, hard ones! Leo's examining them," Ronan quirked a brow, positioning himself on the end of Yui's bed.
Ally brought out a bored game, one that would be easy for all three of them to learn together. Nothing violent, something slow paced that would be easy for Yui to control. The PT and OT team had told Ally how important games were, so the heiress was determined to introduce as many new games to the children as possible.
