|| Never Enough|| The Greatest Showman ||
Yui closed her eyes, releasing a sigh. "I'm so tired," Ronan pat her head with his good hand. "I'm sure it's because they worked you hard in PT," he didn't think it had anything to do with what Leo was doing to Luna and Ren. Suddenly, Yui felt sick, able to feel the effects of the drug. Ally rubbed her back until the feeling went away, then brought out a board game to teach Yui how to play shoots and ladders. Somehow, perhaps by dumb luck, Yui was in the lead, with Ronan close behind and Ally all the way in the back despite the fact that she had claimed this was a game of skill and strategy. "I dunno Ally, my strategy so far has been to have Yui blow on the dice and it seems to be working," Ronan held the ice out, allowing Yui to blow on them. He rolled it, going ahead one space. He hit a ladder, taking it up. Ally shook her head, biding her time. "You'll see," she winked, rolling a three. She had to take a slide back down the beginning.
Their game came to a stop when Leo came strolling in with Luna and Ren, the two seeming dazed and confused. The nurses helped tuck them into bed, the three of them now sharing a room with special permission from the hospital board. Xavier and Damian would be coming by later as well with a yummy dinner for all of them to share, having whipped out some of the family's favorites. Raven and Mizuki would not be joining them since they had to address the public. Lia would be coming by though, having taken up residence on her own, now going to school at a private seminary for girl's. She had dyed her hair too, wanting to discern herself from her original counterpart. Yui was happy for the clone, glad she had been able to find her own life and meaning within it.
"I hope everyone can be happy again soon," Yui said wistfully as she rolled the dice, taking home the grand prize of two cookies with her win. Ally grunted, having lost by so much that her strategy seemed to have been a farce. Ronan came in second, earning one cookie and a glare from Ally, who had gotten no cookies. Yui shared one with her big sister, who patted her head lovingly. "You're too kind for your own good Yui," Ally sighed, shaking her head. "Whatever will we do with this sweet little baby?" Yui crossed her arms, sticking her tongue out, "I'm not a baby!" Ronan laughed, "you pretty much are, but that's alright." His grin fell ever so slightly, "you had to grow up too fast." His voice fell a notch, Ally becoming quiet as well.
Ren began to stir, blinking up blearily. Ronan went over to him to see how he was doing, the boy groaning as he turned onto his side. "I hate drugs," he murmured, propping himself up on his elbows. "Maybe you shouldn't take so many then?" Yui giggled, causing Ren to stiffen. "It wasn't my choice!" He threw the blankets off, using the IV pole to support himself as he marched over to where Yui sat, looking ethereal with the way the light hit her colorless hair, setting off her natural glow. "Yui, run-"
"No."
