Clover was laying on the floor, the bedroom destroyed. Fiyero was panting, Khyria too, sprawled across the ground. The two of them had tried to make Clover take a bath, but upon touching the water, the cat had sliced open Fiyero's shirt, clearly still detesting the water. "You have to take a bath!" Khryia had said, falling into the tub. As a result, all three of them had bathed and Clover not a happy camper. They had to hold her down afterwards in order to brush her hair, the long silky fur done up in twin tails, ribbons decorating each one. They had, had to wrestle her into clothes too, the kitten now at least wearing under garments. Khyria alone had to take on that task, knowing that Erika wouldn't be happy if Fiyero tried to assist in dressing a nude kitten.
After seeing to the wounds on his chest, Fiyero left to retrieve dinner and the sleeping medicine, hoping that the ritual would be complete soon. As fun as it was to have a large, wild, cat, Fiyero was tired of taking damage to his otherwise immaculate form. He peeled himself up from the floor, going to the main building to see if it was ready. Clover was pacing once more, clearly unhappy about something, but no one could tell what. "It's okay, Erika will be back soon," Khyria reassured her, reaching out to pat Clover's head. The kitten bat her hand away, growling menacingly. "Clover, no, bad!" Water sprayed the white haired cat in the face and she hissed, backing up into the bed.
Fiyero returned with the tray, pouring the medicine over the seafood that Mallier had bought for dinner. Clover darted out from underneath the bed, chowing down hungrily. "If you were hungry, you should have just said so," Clover grabbed the tray, taking it underneath the bed to eat. There were two moments when an animal was at its most vulnerable; while eating and while using the restroom. Once finished, Clover crawled out from underneath, Khryi reaching under to retrieve the tray. "Good job Clover, you ate everything," Fiyero pat her head, the cat purring, content. She was growing dizzy, the medicine making her sleepy. Clover rolled over to lay on her back once again, the sun setting outside.
"Welp, I guess we should go eat. Goodnight Clover," Fiyero rose, Khyria leaving behind him. They closed and locked the door, the kitten snoozing on the floor. It was after sundown that the ritual started, Clover peeled one eye open, feeling a strange sensation within her body. Pain rippled through her, her eyes widening. "Gaaah!" Clover screamed, clawing at herself. She thrashed on the floor, not understanding what was happening. "Arrrghaaa!" Clover screamed, Khyria running in to see what was wrong. "Clover? What is it? What's happening?" Her body was glowing, Fiyero rushed in behind her, grabbing her arms to stop her from injuring herself. "Khyria, get her legs. The ritual must have started!"
