Clover purred, a light blushing coming onto her cheeks as Erika rubbed away at her ears. "Get a room you two!" Mallier snickered lightheartedly, although anyone was free to pet Clover and it derived a different sort of pleasure than the one that only Erika could make her feel. Khryia seemed to jump right in, wanting to join the petting party until Cookie interrupted them, coming between Clover and Erika and Khyria. He took Clover's hands, his cheeks flushed red. Clover tilted her head to the side, instantly knowing that something was up. It seemed that Cookie too, had been housing a crush on the kitten this whole time. Clover's cheeks flared vibrantly, her tail standing upright in surprise. She had always thought of Cookie as a good friend, but it seemed that he too, was not immune to Clover's kitty charms. She seemed to have a way with familiars; girls, boys, it didn't matter.
"C-Cookie!" The kitten stuttered as the ferret ran away, tail between his legs. No, not metaphorically either. "I'll go get him!" Khyria offered, taking off after the ferret. As Clover sat stunned in her chair, Mallier bent over in pain, clutching her stomach. Clover's eyes widened, she gripped the handles of her chair and pushed herself forward a few feet before getting out of breath. "Is Mallier okay?" The kitten inquired, a frown gracing her delicate features. Khyria returned, carrying Cookie wrestler style and setting him on the ground. "What's wrong?" Khryia set Cookie down, whose tail sagged in shame. "Is the baby coming? We need to get back home!" They had no time for a car though, they wouldn't be able to make it back to the city hospital on time. What else could they do? Clover wracked her brain, trying to recall if there was something in either her herbology books or alchemy that could be used to remedy the situation.
"Can Khryia fly everyone back?" The kitten asked, concern written clearly across her features. The dragon took the handles on her wheelchair, pushing her forward. "Is there anything we can do?" It seemed the familiars and kitten were at a loss, unfamiliar with the birthing of humans or how such a concept even came about. Sure, they had instincts, but familiars didn't give birth the same way that humans did.
