Introduction

~Plot~
The Baker family has moved from a small town in Kentucky to the big city of L.A. [Mother] and [Father] Have been together for about 15 years. [Mother] is Director of nurses and got a high paying offer from a hospital in L.A., but there’s more to it. She’s been having multiple affairs for many years, [Father] has no idea about it but [Daughter] who caught her twice with two different men, and she still holds her peace on the subject. [Father] is a social worker and has been doing it for about 12 years. He has recently been diagnosed with diabetes, no one knows just yet. They have three children, two of their own with [Daughter] and [Son 1], and they adopted Joey when he was 12 years old. Each of them has their own path in life, still trying to figure them out and do what’s best for them. But the move to L.A. will greatly change the family, in and out.

Is a family man, cares for his kids and tries to reason with his wife when she can be a little hard on them. Very lenient. He has no problems with his daughter sexual confusion and wants the best for all his kids. Very attached to Joey.

Can be very hard on the kids, has had multiple affairs from bosses to co-workers. Treats [Son 1] much better than the rest of her kids, but still shows tough love to them all. Isn’t very accepting of her daughters feeling for the same sex. Dislikes [girl 1].

He is the cocky basketball star, he agrees with his mom and thinks what Katelyn is going through is just a phase. He thinks he deserves everything and can be an asshole sometimes. Plays the big brother role to Joey and Katelyn. Has feelings for [Girl 2].

A black kid that was adopted by the Baker’s when he was 12. Was originally a trouble maker even after being adopted, began straightening up after a while. But he’s very smart, has learned to love school and wants to do the best he can so he can get into an Ivy League college and put his past behind him. Very close to Katelyn and accepts her for who she is. Starts to have feelings for [Girl 3].

She is at the stage where she is just trying to figure herself out. She doesn't want to be gay but as she becomes best friends with [Girl 1] she can’t help the feelings she feels for the girl. She is afraid what her family will think and what others will think of her. Loves [Son 1] but often has a rocky relationship with him. She is very close to Joey and confides in him the most in the family.

She is a lesbian but hates labeling herself, her father is a rockstar that hardly ever sees her and her mother goes from guy to guy and only sees her once a month to give her money. She hates [girl 2] and used to be with [boy 1] before she figured out she was into girls. When she meets Katelyn she can’t help but have feelings for her. She is afraid to fall for someone because she’s afraid of getting hurt. Also dislikes [Son 1] and [Mother].

Head cheerleader and a queen b***h, she has the attitude that what she wants she gets. She is dating the head basketball star [boy 1] but when [son 1] comes and takes the role she decides she has to have him. She doesn't like [girl 1] and after a while starts to dislike Katelyn also. Loves to ignore rules and acts as if she is the center of attention at all times.

Is a very sweet girl and very on top of her school work, she comes from a very privileged background with both her parents being big players in the oil industry. Very open minded, she used to be best friends with [Girl 2] but when [Girl 2] started changing they began to pull apart. She starts to get to know Joey and starts having feelings for him.

Was originally the head Basketball star until [son 1] comes along and takes the lead. He’s dating [Girl 2] in the beginning but she eventually dumps him for [son 1]. He has feelings for Katelyn but realizes she has feelings for [girl 1]. He dated [girl 1] before she became gay. He is friends with [girl 1] and Katelyn. Has a mini rivalry with [Son 1] as well.

Boy 2 //Name: //Age: 17//FC: Tristan Wilds//Open
Is a smart, half-Dominican guy who becomes good friends with Joey. He is born and raised in L.A. He does great in school and wants to be an artist. Used to be into partying and drugs but straightened up when his mother died. Becomes good friends with [Girl 3] and Katelyn. Has feelings for [Girl 2].
