Nat has a gift for writing and reading code. In fact, she's one of the best. Because of this, however, she was approached by a biomedical company to hack into different government databases and search for any and all information about biological weapons. Her skills don't come cheap. She's been paid for every bit of information that she finds and hands over to them. But there's more to this secret than just uncovering this information and handing it over. She uses it in her own research and experiments. She's using the research in order to create an antidote, a vaccine, anything to counteract the dangers that the government can release at any moment.

Nat is about 5'4" tall and weights approximately 134lbs. She had dark brown hair tied back into dreadlocks and deep brown eyes hidden behind black frames. Nat thinks of herself as average in height although to most people she's considered short. She has an infectious smile. She tends to wear eyeliner around her eyes and wing it in the outside corners. Her style can vary based on her mood, but most of the time she wears comfortable dresses. She almost always accents her outfits with scarves and/or cardigans. She has a very expressive face and tends to let her emotions show. She has a natualis tattoo on her right forearm and a ring piercing in her right nostril.

Natalie doesn't sugar coat things. Instead she's incredibly blunt. It's not that she lacks empathy. She just has no filter and will say exactly what is on her mind. It can be pretty comical in the right situation. Otherwise, it can get her into a ton of trouble. This also makes her incredibly sarcastic as well.
Natalie is very smart. She graduated high school with a 4.3 GPA, scored a 1500 on her SATs, and a 32 on her ACTs. She received a full ride to John Hopkins University for Biomedical Science. She finds comfort in science and numbers because they're known. They're exact. She's logically minded. She enjoys mind puzzles and can think her way out of different situations. Or at the very least, the situations she encounters on a daily basis. She can read 600 words a minute and can speak several languages.
Natalie can be a bit of a perfectionist. She doesn't do anything half-assed and strives for nothing less than perfection. Especially because mistakes can get people killed and she doesn't want that kind of blood on her hands. Even her room is pristine and everything is in order. She believes that there is a place for everything and everything belongs in its place.
Natalie is inventive in the most basic sense of the word. She's not creative in the sense of art and beauty. She's inventive in making things and making sure they work. She solves problems.
Natalie was raised in the city of Oakson, Virginia and raised by a single mother, Jennifer. Even as a kid, Nat loved science. She liked figuring out how and why things worked. She liked being able to understand why something happened through evidence and cause and effect. Which made it a little more difficult for her to deal with the fact she didn't have a father in her life. She had no evidence, and didn't know the cause.
In school, she focused largely on her science and mathematics. In biology, she learned how living things worked. In Chemistry, they made things explode and change color. In anatomy, she learned how people worked. She loved to play with magnets and make things move. She liked calculating where things would land. The thing she liked most about science was that you could apply it to almost everything. She did put some time into english as she knew it was an important skill, but science clicked so easily in her mind, that she threw herself into it.
All throughout school, she sought extracurriculars where she could use her skills like robotics and engineering. She tutored other students in math and science. And by the time she graduated, she was valedictorian and had a full ride to John Hopkin's University for Biomedical Science. Since it was only a few hours outside of the city, and it being a research based university, she thought it was the perfect fit.
She was accelerated in her learning and earned her bachelors within the first three years of college. It would've been two, but halfway through her second year, she got a call that her mother had passed away. She had been struggling with cancer for some time and it seemed it had run it's corse and done its damage. She returned to the city long enough to make funeral arrangements and then returned to school to finish her degree. After her bachelor's was completed, she was hired on for a biomedical company called BioCorps who offered to pay for her continued schooling after working with them for a year and a half. During her time, she worked not only in the lab but coding on her computer. What was once a hobby was quickly becoming a second job. She designed webpages and websites. She helped code programs for top companies to use to sort and store their data, and now, she was being offered a lot of money to do something highly illegal: hacking into the government's databases and obtaining information on biological weapons.
At first, she was reluctant, for what good could come of this information? Then she realized, she could be the good. She could create a vaccine, antidote, etc. for whatever was being developed and keep it from spreading too far and doing too much damage. She would still live with the guilt of hurting whoever was involved, but in the end, the sheer number of people saved, outweighed the price of a few.
