Introduction
The aurors, an elite unit of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement of the Ministry of Magic, have been getting tips that some evil is brewing on the horizon. The dark wizards left behind after the battle with Voldemort are planning something, it seems, but the aurors have yet to be able to figure out what. The ministry has decided to call upon Harry Potter, who now works as an auror, and send him on a mission to find out what the possible threat could be. Werewolves have been disappearing without a trace, as have the remaining vampires, and it has left the ministry unnerved. Where have they gone? Other weird things are happening, but the wizarding world is turning a blind eye... unable to accept that more evil is left in the world...
In order to help Harry with his mission, the ministry has decided to call upon a number of experts in a variety of fields: Transfiguration, Potions, Arithmancy, Divination, Magical Creatures, Herbology, Astronomy, Advanced Charms, etc (You may add your own if none of these work for your character). A letter has been written and sent to each of the witches and wizards:
"To a Mr./Miss. _________,
Your expertise in the field of ______ is essential to a top secret mission being employed in the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. The Ministry of Magic has received intelligence that a possible threat to the wizarding world is growing and we are taking precautions to ensure that this does not continue. Limited information is being released at the moment, but you will be told more when you arrive for a debriefing. Harry Potter, one of our top aurors, will be leading the group and other experts on a variety of subjects will be joining the group. We ask that you attend a meeting this Friday evening at 10:00 PM at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement inside the Ministry of Magic.
Sincerely,
Gawain Robards."
The letters have been sent and now rest in the mailboxes of the chosen witches and wizards, waiting to be read.
This is a fan fiction role-play based off of J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series.

IC: Eve leaned against the cold wall of the hallway, staring at a crack in the floor. Her crimson gold hair stood out strongly against the off white walls of St. Mungos hospital while her ivory white skin looked even whiter and almost sickly in the harsh lights. Dark wash skinny jeans clung to her long thin legs, accentuating their length, and she wore pale pink ballet flats. On top she wore a forest green tunic-type shirt that tied in a bow at the front. It looked almost a size too big on her, but she didn't care. It helped to hide the fact that she hadn't been eating much these past few weeks...
It had been three weeks since the absolute disaster at the Dragon Reserve. Evelynne didn't really remember coming to St. Mungos and knew it was because her body had gone into shock due to the entire ordeal. She had spent as much time as possible at the hospital, next to Drake's bed, and usually had to be forced to leave. Harry was kind and often waited around with her so that they could walk back together to the rooms they were renting at a near by hotel. The rooms were shabby at best, but it was cheap and close to the hospital.
Drake's health had been touch and go at first, but he was now getting steadily better and was expected to soon wake up from the coma-like state he had slipped into. Harry had gone to have a quick bite to eat, it was half past one in the afternoon, but Eve had decided to stay behind. Two nurses were just finishing up in Drake's room and once they were gone, Evelynne slipped in.
Drake was lying on a rather uncomfortable looking bed, clothed in thin white clothing. He didn't appear to be in any pain and actually looked rather peaceful. She sat down next to the bed in a large chair, absent mindedly playing with the dragon pendant necklace that hung around her neck. Though Charlie was gone, she couldn't bare to remove it.
A stray lock of crimson-gold hair fell over her shoulder as she leaned foreward and gently brushed Drake's hair over his forehead so that she could better see his face. Her stomach gave a nervous flip and her heart started beating slightly faster as she drew her hand back, silently wishing he would wake up.

First off, let me deeply apologize to everybody for a lack of response in forever. Recently, I've been doing volunteer work at my local church, and I've been busy with a couple of projects both there and here at home. I've also gotten a couple of new games, which have been taking up some of my interest. I wasn't really sure how often I was going to be on, if I was going to be on at all, and I've only really been on to check a couple of messages. I should hopefully be a bit more active from here on out.
EDIT: Due to a vitally important point I forgot that Eruantalon brought to my attention, I'm revising my post quite a small bit.)*
Indeed, as the three weeks passed on, Drake mainly did...well, nothing except lie there, rest, and recover. Ever since he had been admitted to St. Mungo's, for the first 72 hours the Medi-wizards and Mediwitches had been working nearly round the clock to save him. Thanks to Argent's quick intervention, Drake was quickly stabilized and brought from certain death, with extensive treatments being provided and implemented on him. Indeed, his initial prognosis was spotty and unsure, but he had steadily and rapidly improved.
Ron and Hermione, as well with Harry, often times came with him to help provide emotional support. Though the two of them usually didn't stay as long as Harry, primarily because Hermione devoted herself to tracking down the members of La Prise, as well as Kreazil and their activities, with Ron helping her in any way as best as he could...among other things, he valued the time he had with her alone, even IF it was spent focusing on Kreazil.
Argent, much like Eve, had often stayed with Drake--steadfast and ever silent. She did not say anything to Eve during the time they were there together, but there was some obvious tension. More often than not, Argent usually left shortly after Eve arrived, not really wanting to stay long around her. By contrast, Dimitri never once left his brother's side--even going so far as to fight the ones who tried to eject him. While he was successfully removed from the scene the first two times, the third time Dimitri had resorted to significantly dirty tactics, including clawing and biting. By the seventh time, they just plain gave up and allowed him to stay.
Ryu, like Dimitri, visited his cousin, but he only spent about an hour at most. Otherwise, he was like Ron and Hermione, busy with working with them. He had recalled that Kreazil that ordered him to get him a vial of blood from his cousin--and, as much as he didn't want to, he simply couldn't envision the possibility of his father being at the hands of that monster. While he knew he was taking a severe risk, he had--without anybody noticing--managed to secure such a vial. However, he been wavering back and forth on the issue, trying to figure out if he should speak to Harry or at least the rest of the crew about it.
...In the end, however, he ultimately said nothing. To Ryu, his family was more important that anything. Come what may, he'd cross that bridge when he came to it, and hoped the rest of the time would be able to forgive him.
As time passed, Drake slowly recovered, laying there on the bed. For weeks he had silent and unresponsive, though today...that would finally change. As Evelynne drew her hand back from his forehead, his eyes very slowly squeezed further shut and his lips pursed. Letting out a small grunt, his eyes slightly squinted open, his head rolling over to his right side, spotting a red-haired blur. Dimitri, who was sleeping nearby, did not notice what was going on.
"...Ev...ely...nne?" Drake whispered out, trying to focus.

IC: Eve's honey-gold eyes had changed their focus to the bed sheets between her fingers. She played with the edge of the thin fabric, causing it to fray slightly as she chewed on her bottom lip nervously. So much time had passed since Drake had been conscious that the doctors were beginning to get worried, but when she heard a small grunt her heart leaped into over drive. He was awake!
"...Ev...ely...nne?" Drake whispered out, trying to focus.
Evelynne looked up to lock eyes with Drake's own and was sure she looked as though she was talking to a ghost. She hadn't expected him to wake up so suddenly and wasn't sure what she should do. Should she go and get the nurse? Call for Harry and the others? Maybe she should wake up Dimitri? The thoughts raced through her mind for a second before she settled on one. She would stop staring at him like an idiot and smile. There, that was appropriate wasn't it?
"Drake! I'm so happy you're awake!" Evelynne said loudly, flinching slightly at the harshness of her voice in the quiet room. She forced herself to stop playing with the edges of the sheets and suddenly felt awkward with how close she was sitting to him, so she slid back in her chair and played with the dragon pendant necklace that hung around her neck. The habit was a nervous one, but she couldn't make herself stop.
"How are you feeling? You've been recovering pretty steadily but you've been out for a long time..." She trailed off softly, unsure as to whether or not she should tell him that it had actually been three weeks and that Charlie was dead and they hadn't heard from Sander since they left him weeks ago in the forest. It was a lot to hear when you were feeling healthy and well, let alone when you were just recovering from a near death experience.
Evelynne smiled gently at Drake and, without a word, stood up from the chair and moved across the room to where Dimitri slept in the chair. He looked so delicate and young when he was sleeping, but she knew he would be bouncing off the walls when he found out Drake was awake. "Dimitri, wake up kiddo." She said with a smile, ruffling his hair gently to wake him from his sleep. The pair had spent a lot of time together over the past three weeks and she had grown incredibly fond of the young boy.

"Excuse me? I don't mean to interrupt, but do you know where Harry is?" He lowered his voice."I think I found out where Kreazil is hiding."
------------------------------------------
Kreazil was bored. The ritual was exiting, no doubt about it. But being locked in a small circle for three weeks was just plain boring. At least it seemed like everything was going according to the plan. The ritual was started, and would finish at the next full moon. The castle was secure. He wondered if La Prise would try to take him out before he could finish. He had not talked to Natasha for a long time, and wondered how the mission was going. He was almost asleep when Slythe entered.
"Uhm boss? The prisoner made some trouble again."
Kreazil looked at him and grinned. "How that man gets out of his cell in that condition is simply marvelous, and excellent work for me to do. Give him the red bottle over there."
There where things worth occupying his mind with still. Keeping one of the best thieves in the world from escaping his dungeon without killing him was one of them.

Drake himself couldn't help but wince as well. He was still only trying to clear his head, and the image of everything was still by and large a major blur. Reaching up to rub his head lightly, he shook it slowly.
"How are you feeling? You've been recovering pretty steadily but you've been out for a long time..."
"I've been....better." His voice was still soft, but it was fairly strong. He didn't try sitting up for a while, figuring he had gotten hit pretty bad. All he remembered was that he had grasped onto that opal necklace and...agonizing pain of worlds beyond worlds had flooded through his body. Torture which the likes he had never felt before and had hoped to the High Elders above he would never experience again.
"Eh? Hu-whaza?" He snorted lightly, jolting awake. "What...?"
Drake's eyes had cleared a little bit, and he couldn't help but smile as he glanced over at his younger sibling. "Sleep well, little guy? Hope you've been comfortable."
Dimitri blinked, unable to believe his eyes and ears. Jumping to his feet, he was instantly at his elder brother's side. "Big brother?! You're awake!"
Drake laughed, reaching up to take Dimitri's hand--and pull him into a hug. "Yeah, I am. Just woke up not long before you." He grunted, slowly trying to push himself to sit up a bit higher, but trying not to overexert himself. "So...how long was I out? A couple of months?"
Nightwing the younger bit his lip. "Three weeks, actually."
"...huh." The half-dragon blinked, eyes going a bit wide. "Not as long as I thought, then. ...Well, I'm certainly not complaining, in any case." He glanced around, knowing it was just the three of them. "So...uh...I suppose everybody's still working on our mission, then? I'm a little surprised Ryu's not here, but...anyway. What all did I miss while I was taking my extended nap?"

IC: Natasha had spent the last three weeks going down the list of names that Kreazil had given her. She had to admit, it was far more fun than her previous job playing fetch of that creep of a wizard Lucius. She had reached the final name on the list and was headed towards a small town out in the mountains, confident that this would be the man that Kreazil wanted.

Evelynne stood off to the side, smiling softly at the sweet exchange between Drake and Dimitri. She was elated that Drake was awake again and, though he wasn't fully recovered, he seemed like he would pull through completely in due time.
Her honey-gold eyes flicked towards Drake with a look of concern and was surprised when he thought it had been longer. He seemed to be taking the whole thing incredibly well, all things considered. Her shocking red curls spilled over her shoulders as she moved across the room to stand near the door, looking down the hallway for Harry. She couldn't wait for the others to get back and see Drake. Eve assumed that Drake was still speaking to Dimitri, but when she heard him ask what he had missed while he was unconscious her body tensed visibly and she stopped toying with the dragon pendant necklace. Drake didn't know that Charlie was dead... she knew she should tell him, but the words caught painfully in her throat, causing her eyes to sting with tears. So instead of speaking she looked away and almost walked straight into Smith as he entered the room.
"Excuse me? I don't mean to interrupt, but do you know where Harry is?" He lowered his voice."I think I found out where Kreazil is hiding."
"What? How did you find out!" Evelynne exclaimed, happy for the change in topic. Down the hall she could see Harry who, when he saw Evelynne's shocked expression, hurried faster towards the room.

Three weeks earlier - in Italy
It took Smith just a couple of days to find Snatcher, and he wasn't surprised to find the blind mercenary waiting for him. The other guy though...
What lay before him was a large and quite liberally furnished room with classic large bookcases and large comfy chairs. Snatcher was seated in the one nearest the window, while the other one was seated across the table, his feet crossed and his left hand supporting his face in a thoughtful manner.
Snatcher turned his head halfway to the noise as Askew let smith inside. "Please sit down, we've been expecting you."
Smith walked carefully towards the sofa, "I figured you would be, I'm Joshua Smith.". He eyed the other man as he sat down.
Snatcher smiled slightly, "Well it is nice to see you're smart enough to be civil. I'm Snatcher, and this..", He threw out a hand towards James, "..young man is James Carver.". At this, Jim put down his teacup and waved, "Hii!".
Snatcher folded his hands, "I suppose you are here because of Kreazil. I had a sneaking suspicion that he would piss off some people considering what he is about to do, not a sound Mr Smith!" Smith bit back the angry comment he was about to produce. He knew about it? And did nothing to stop it?
Snatcher continued, "He is currently located in Germany, he has locked down an entire castle with some serious magic. But he has to take down all the protection on the day of the ritual, I estimate you will have an hour to stop him after that. Considering the size of the castle that should be easy enou.. Mr. Carver, Close. Your. Mouth."
Jim leaned back into his chair, closed his mouth and picked up his teacup again, a smile playing around the edges of his mouth.
"Like I said. There is plenty of time once you enter the castle. Now, if you have all you need.." He gestured towards the door.
Three weeks later(present) - at the hospital
Smith waited until Harry was close enough before he told them everything that happened. "...After I left however, was when the trouble started. Carver was working for La Prise, and he wasn't about to just let me get away. That's the reason it took me so long to get back to you, I've been playing cat & mouse with that bastard ever since. He lost track of me in spain, but he's good. He's probably not far away from London."
Meanwhile - in Germany
Slythe was confused. Kreazil had given orders that any intruders should be let in as if it was a surprise. No ambush or anything, not until whoever came was well into the castle. Blood golems stationed as guards at the entrance but nothing else. It was insane, but then again, so was Kreazil. He probably had his reasons, and Slythe didn't care to much. He was getting paid after all.
Meanwhile - in Norway
(Translated for your convenience!)
Sander awoke with a small yelp. The first thought to register was that his back hurt. The second was that, basically, so did just about everything else.
"It's a weird thing," a somewhat deep, yet female, voice said somewhere else in the room. "There I was, walking around in the deep Romanian forests looking for an escaped troll reported by the government, and instead I find a young boy who looked slightly as if he'd been half eaten by a wolf."
He opened his eyes with a groggy answer of "gluh", and tried to focus on the room around him. It looked slightly as one of those old Norwegian huts you always saw in the magazines - built to hold off the weather and the snow that came with the climate. It also looked as if someone had put a bunch of trees on top of each other and gone "yeah, it ought to hold".
The voice belonged to an elder woman, possibly around 50 or 60, who was seated a few feet away from his bed with a shotgun on her lap. She was dressed in a large leather coat and a modest dress that reached her ankles, with a flower pattern. Her hair was curly and short, and her eyes were kind. She smiled at him and nodded towards a small table beside the bed, where a plate of hot steaming soup seemed to be waiting for him next to a cup of strawberry lemonade.
"You've been out for a long time. I don't suppose you remember much of the few times you woke up, you've been pretty light headed from the blood loss," she said. Sander opened his mouth to answer, but it didn't seem to co-operate. His brain therefore decided it was time to do some of the work for him. The woman was speaking in Norwegian, and judging by the temperature of the room, that was probably where he was located. The room reeked of a distinctive and bitter smell he hadn't smelled since his school days, in some of the more disturbing potion classes back in Durmstrang. That, added with the information she had just given him, gave a pretty obvious answer.
"T-troll hunter," he stuttered.
"Troll keeper, dear. My husband and I are some of the most respective troll keepers in Nordmรธre, in fact."
"I need to g-get b-back," he said, no long paying much attention to what he was saying as his memory came flooding back. His transformation had been a particularly bad one, leaving him with a lot more wounds by the feel of it. He had to get back to help Drake and the others. "How long -" he began.
"Three weeks. I took the liberty of checking up on your identity and such," the woman said, importantly, as if she was very proud of this. "Your friends left the dragon reserve. I passed it on our journey back home."
"Then, w-where are they?" Sander asked sitting up with a wince.
"The workers claimed that they'd gone back to London. It seems one of your friends were in a pretty bad state, they needed to check him into the hospital."
"T-then I have to go t-there," Sander stated, trying to sound authoritative.
"As if you're going anywhere in that state," the woman replied in a very motherly fashion. "You need more rest."
"I can r-rest in the hospital," he said. "They m-might need my help."
At this, the woman simply smiled, before she took a cane from behind the chair and knocked it into the floor three times.
"That's all we needed to hear, dearest. Bersven, that's my husband, is going to London anyway. Are you well enough to travel by flu powder?"
"I'll have to b-be," he answered. "But -"
"No buts," she declared. "Eat your chicken soup, and I'll get you some new clothes. You'll be at St. Mungos in a few hours."

Drake's eyes went wide as he listened to Smith's recounting of the tale. As he finished, Drake sat back.
"Well, dang." The half-dragon mused. "I suppose then we're not entirely safe here." He gazed around the group. "And we're still missing some of our group, I take it. Where's Ryu?"
Dimitri bit his lip. "He's not here. Said he was gonna try some recon. He departed about a couple of weeks ago claiming he was gonna try and spy on Kreazil from the inside, but we haven't heard from him since. Last I knew, Ron and Hermione were still in the Archives at the Ministry trying to see if there was any information at all that could be used to our advantage, and Argent's resupplying her stock...though they should be here soon."
Drake nodded. "I see. So--" he paused, blinking. "Wait, back up. Who else did you say?"
Dimitri blinking. "...Argent."
"...Argent?" Drake's eyes widened.
"It's a bit of a long story." Dimitri sighed. "After I got kidnapped by Malfoy, my parents sent Argent to find and rescue me, but she also got the letter I sent that we needed a healer for you when you got cursed and--"
"Alright, alright," Drake raised his hand, waving it off lightly, his face expressionless though he tone seemed to suggest some mild irritation. Biting his lip, he gazed over at Harry. "So, outside of waiting for everybody to reconvene, do we have a plan of action thus far, or are we still trying to put one together?"

Alphonse stared nostalgically at the dusty, boarded up entrance to Purge and Dowse, Ltd. The red brick building was always closed for renovation, or so it seemed to the average passerby. In reality, it was the secret entrance to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries. The dilapidated red brick building was the source of a lot of memories for Al, both memorable and painful. This was the place where his mother had passed, yet it was the place where his career in the healing arts began as well. The wizard had spent several months working at the hospital as a Healer to gain practical experience before moving on to work for the Ministry to develop new medical treatments. He had learned many things in the institution, including the fact that he was not really cut out for hospital work. Some of the cases he had witnessed during his internship could have made an army colonel's stomach do back flips, and Al hoped never to see things like that again.
Taking a deep breath, he young man stepped forwards to speak to the mannequin in the window. "I'm here to see Drakengarde Nightwing." The plastic figure slowly nodded, and after he made sure no one was watching, Al stepped through the glass pane and onto the hospital floor.
The Lobby was just how Al remembered it: white, sterile, and orderly. Briefly stopping at the welcome desk to get his visitor's pass, the wizard made his way to one of the many lifts and pressed the button for the fourth floor, Spell Damage. Before long, he was out of the elevator and on his way down the hall towards Drake's room.
"Drake?" Al called as he hurried down the corridor to the hospital room. "You're awake! When did you come to?"

"Careful, boy," Bersven the troll keeper rumbled, laughing heartily as he gave the frail wizard a strong pat on the back. Sander smiled weakly and corrected his clothing, slightly displeased that his brand new clothing already was half covered in ash. The long black coat was quite different from his previously tattered robes, which had been discarded on sight by the troll keeper's wife with, he was told, a small ritual involving a fireplace. His other clothing was also quite a bit fancier than he was used to, and he couldn't help but to wonder how the wife had known his exact measurements.
They stepped out of the room among a great deal of other wizards and witches moving in different directions. Bersven didn't remove his hand from the boy's shoulder until they were out on the streets. He then turned towards him, inhaling with a thoughtful expression on his face.
"Well, then. This is goodbye. You can find your way from here, I suppose?"
"I-I. Um. Yes. I've b-been there before," Sander answered. Bersven smiled and patted his shoulder.
"That's a good boy. Hope not to find you half-eaten in the woods again any time soon, then," he joked.
"Hah, n-no, I'll try to avoid it. Thank you for everything," Sander replied awkwardly.
"Oh, pish posh, no problem at all. I'll see you around then!" Bersven grinned widely and pulled the poor werewolf into a crushing hug, before letting go and turning on his heel. He disappeared into the crowd with surprising stealth despite being quite a lot bigger than his surrounding strangers.
"R-right," Sander mumbled to himself. "Hospital, then."

Jim Carver was fascinated. His pursuit of Smith had led him all across Europe, and it had taken him more time than he anticipated, catching up with him after the incident in Spain.
A take-away cup of coffee in his hand, he sat down on a small chair on top of the building where he was observing the hospitalโs entrance. It wasnโt too long ago since Smith had entered, and as he was unaware of Drakeโs incident he couldnโt help but to wonder what the man was doing in there. Still, he decided not to risk his life or freedom by entering, and sighed pleasantly. He was certainly not in any hurry.

She walked across the room, black boots making ominous thuds against the old wood floors, and grasped the telephone hanging on the wall. She had told Bartholomew that it would be the easiest way for her to contact him (since she was, after all, a muggle) and he had given her a number that she had memorized quickly.
She punched in the digits and waited patiently as the phone rang. Once. Twice. Three timesโฆ The phone was picked up and Natasha wasted no time before speaking, โI found him.โ
--------------------------------------------------------
Harry entered the room and cast Drake a friendly and pleased smile, clearly relieved the he was alright. His eyes then shifted to Evelynne who stood next to his bed, playing nervously with her necklace. She looked alarmingly pale in the hospital light, but Harry didnโt say a thing.
The entire room listened in shock and awe as Smith retold the story, trying to figure out what step to take next.
"Well, dang." The half-dragon mused. "I suppose then we're not entirely safe here." He gazed around the group. "And we're still missing some of our group, I take it. Where's Ryu?"
Harry nodded in agreement. They were not going to be safe any where for long, especially now that Smith had J.C. on his tale. Evelynne and the others had told him about the crazed man and he wanted nothing to do with him if at all possible.. though that didnโt look like it was going to happen.
Evelynne bit her lip, silently hoping that Ryu was okay. They really hadnโt heard anything from him in weeksโฆ if they were going to leave the hospital, how were they ever going to meet back up again? And what of Sander? They hadnโt seen him since he had left the group in the woods by the castle in order to turn into a werewolf. Everything was so out of control that she didnโt know what to think or do.
Drake nodded. "I see. So--" he paused, blinking. "Wait, back up. Who else did you say?"
Dimitri blinking. "...Argent."
"...Argent?" Drake's eyes widened.
Evelynne wasnโt lost in thought enough not to notice Drakeโs reaction to Argentโs name. She looked over towards him, a look of confusion on her face, but she didnโt say anything. It wasnโt her place. It was then that she realized that Drake didnโt know Charlie was dead. Her shoulders tensed slightly and she looked away to Harry, wishing he would say something.
"It's a bit of a long story." Dimitri sighed. "After I got kidnapped by Malfoy, my parents sent Argent to find and rescue me, but she also got the letter I sent that we needed a healer for you when you got cursed and--"

Drake nodded once, having been about to respond only for Eve to do so for him. Clearing his throat lightly, Drake glanced over at Harry.
"What he's done?" Inquired the half-dragon, tilting his head lightly. "If...you don't mind my asking, just what precisely did he do?" Being out of commission for nearly three weeks was still something he was trying to process, and he wanted to get as much of the story as he possibly could.

Somewhere, several miles away, Ryu leaned up against the wall of a local church somewhere in London. Even after he had given Kreazil the blood of his cousin, the young man wasn't entirely sure what to do. He had wanted to head back to his friends and his cousin to let him know what was going on--but he knew that doing so would likely spell certain doom for his father. As it was, he had agreed to work for Kreazil--at least temporarily--hoping to possibly ascertain some information on where his ultimate hideout was. But to do that he needed to gain trust, and to do that he needed some time.
As it was, Ryu felt like he was only just killing time, simply waiting for his next mission. He understood another one of Kreazil's flunkies--that "crazy bitch"--was doing some interrogation...but it was of little concern to him. For the time being, Ryu decided to perform some dumb muscle grunt work for him, mainly so he could clear his own head and figure out the best plan of how to handle the situation.

Though he thought he saw the back of Alphonse as he made his way through the hallways, Sander decided not to embarrass himself by making more assumptions, and went to the room he'd been directed to by the staff, quietly. He arrived just in time to hear Al exclaim that Drake was awake, stepping in shortly after, but went unnoticed as he often did.
"What he's done?" Inquired the half-dragon, tilting his head lightly. "If...you don't mind my asking, just what precisely did he do?"
Not knowing anything more about the current circumstances than Drake did, Sander turned his head to the others.
"W-what has who done?" he said, and then realized he hadn't even declared his arrival. "Um. H-hi, by the w-way."

IC: Drake nodded once, having been about to respond only for Eve to do so for him.
Harry looked confused for a moment, as though he couldn't believe Drake was asking him this question, and then it dawned on him that Drake had been completely out of commission by the time he had gotten back to camp. For some reason he had assumed Ryu and Eve had passed on the bad news, but it looked like either they had elected not to or did not have the opportunity to do so before disaster struck again.
Evelynne stopped fiddling with the necklace that hung around her neck, and stared intently at the floor. There was a humming in her ears and she felt suddenly nauseus and dizzy at the thought of Harry recounting Charlie's death. Her crimson hair hung in messy curls around her face, hiding the color that burned in her cheeks making a concerning contrast against her pale white skin.
Not knowing anything more about the current circumstances than Drake did, Sander turned his head to the others.
"W-what has who done?" he said, and then realized he hadn't even declared his arrival. "Um. H-hi, by the w-way."
Harry looked up, shock crossing his face before it was replaced by relief, "Sander! You found us! Wait, how..?" He trailed off and then shrugged, turning back to Drake. Both he and Sander were looking at him for an answer and he might as well give it to them sooner rather than later. He looked Drake straight in the eyes, his own bright emerald orbs shining with sadness and a hint of anger, "Kreazil decided to play a bit of a sick game with us.โ He began, noticing out of the corner of his eye that Evelynne had silently turned and walked out of the room, โHe pulled three potions from his cloak and said that for each potion one of us drunk, we could ask a question and he would answer. Once we had drunk three potions, he agreed to help Smith.โ Harry paused and then added, โThe man who he left poisoned in the village.โ He took a deep breath and ran a hand through his unruly dark hair, โthe thing was, one of them was poisonus. We got to the third potion and Evelynne offered to drink it... but...โ
โCharlie wouldnโt let me.โ
Harry turned to see Evelynne standing by the door, staring at her feet. Her voice was soft and unwavering but full of sorrow, โCharlie drank the last potion and...โ Her breath caught painfully in her throat before she looked up towards Drake and Sander, finally uttering those terrible words, โCharlie is dead.โ

โCharlie wouldnโt let me.โ
Drake's head shifted over towards Eve, his eyes widening a bit. Tilting lightly to the side, his eyes expression confusion.

Her voice was soft and unwavering but full of sorrow, โCharlie drank the last potion and...โ Her breath caught painfully in her throat before she looked up towards Drake and Sander, finally uttering those terrible words, โCharlie is dead.โ
The half-dragon's jaw dropped in shock and surprise. Blinking, he attempted to form a coherent response, but was unable to really form anything. Gritting his teeth, he clenched his fist and turned his eyes down. While he didn't know Charlie all that well, the death of a confidant and ally still struck him hard. He wasn't even officially part of the group--just an innocent person that had unfortunately been dragged into this damn mess.
That had made two now. First Draco and now Charlie...
Drake jumped lightly when he felt Dimitri's hand on his, turning towards his younger sibling.
"Don't blame yourself, big brother." Dimitri stated. "You weren't even there. There wasn't anything you could do."
"...I'm not blaming myself, Dimi." Drake sighed. "I'm just...angry. Charlie was a good guy. I would have liked to get to know him better. He didn't have to put himself in harm's way for this, and he did anyway..."
He lifted his head up to Harry. There wasn't any time to feel remorse now. They still had a job to do.
"What's our next move?" He asked, all business now. "We already got something, or are we waiting to hear back from the others still?"

Eve still stood silently at the door, leaning against the frame, and watched the scene unfold. She had nothing more to say about the matter and didn't trust herself to talk at the moment for fear that she would burst into tears. Harry, on the other hand, had already composed himself and was ready to take charge again. He felt just as upset as Eve but he had been through a lot more death than she had and had gotten used to dealing with the pain quickly and moving on for the sake of everyone.
"We're still missing Ryu, but we can leave a message here for him for when he shows up. For now, I think we better get moving. We've been in one place for too long and have been lucky that they haven't already found us." Harry explained, standing up, "I'll make sure that you can leave if not today, then tomorrow. We need to hunt down Kreazil and once we find him, I have a feeling we'll also find links to the others as well" Harry said, running a hand through his thick dark hair as he waited for a response.

Re: [OOC] Life--Or Something Like It--After Hogwarts
Outside of the Joplin trip we had, I recently signed up for a second one. However, that's one's happening in a couple of weeks. I've also joined my church's choir, and I've also signed up for the NOEL Project that we're doing in December. On top of that, our dog recently had emergency surgery to have two kidney stones removed and we're taking him to get his sutures removed tomorrow. If that wasn't enough, I've been driven to try and find employment because Mom's been given some information that there is a very high possibility--like, all but certain--that they're going to be outsourcing her entire department to the Philippines, laying her and about...I dunno, twenty some odd other people off?
Thing is, it's not going to happen until around Jan. 1st...maybe. Problem is, we don't exactly know how LONG it's really going to be and we're sort of staring at the Sword of Damocles above our heads right now. I really don't know what we're going to do, but I'm just keeping my fingers crossed and praying that I find something and that Mom doesn't lose hers.

Raijn or Lightning, would you like to post? Maybe Eurulation? (spelling?)
If not I can always post again. I think we need to get to the climax pretty soon so we can work on an ending. I'd love it if this roleplay actually got to an ending. Actually, I would be thrilled if it did!!!

'Sup, everyone. Just got back from the Joplin trip. I'm tired as hell and I'm getting vertigo (even sitting down!) but I just wanted to log on real fast and let you know I was back. I'll hopefully have a post up by tomorrow or so. :D

I'm going to have to go with Raijn on this one. I can't really think of much of anything myself.
Re: [OOC] Life--Or Something Like It--After Hogwarts
Our suggestion is that the GM should decide whether La Prise or Kreazil is the biggest threat at the moment. Though, even after Kreazil's defeat, we'd like to point out that new threats will always surface, if people are still willing to continue afterwards.
As for the current plot, I suggest finishing up the conversation in the hospital, after which I'll have Sander show up. I know that Eruantalon has made quite a lot of plans concerning Kreazil's defences and such - so the main characters may want to prepare for a fight or similar.
If you want a bit of action, there is always the option of sending in NPCs from La Prise, who's searching for the gang and might cause trouble. If you don't want them to be NPCs I'm sure I could come up with a character, or just have Carver cause a bit of havoc.
And since we're on the subject of Carver - the characters might believe him to be a threat and want to make sure he's dealt with before they take on the big bad (lookin' at you, Kreazil).
Um. Let's see. I think that's what I have at the moment.
And also Eruantalon says, "don't forget the importance of fish sticks," but I'm not sure what he's talking about.
The edits are because I keep misspelling a word. Gosh darn it.
