ImageOnce a year, the tourists love to flock to a small island town known as Lahaina, Maui on the beautiful island state of Hawaii, mostly young adults looking for an adventure to remember over the years. They come from all around the country, all around the world even just to get a taste of island life. Even if it is just for the summer. But, not everyone is overly excited about the mainlanders coming to the island. You see, the natives see them as invading on their small town. Seeing them as people who only come in order to take over their home. Which of course, they are not happy about and they don't give into their commands of just standing back and acting as if nothing was wrong. But, that's not exactly what the natives have in mind in order to prove their point to the tourists. What they have in mind is using the powers they were given from birth in order to scare the tourists away. But, what everyone must remember is as much as they might not enjoy each others' company, it is still summer the time where anything is possible which means during these three months there will be romance, friendships, drama, and things that you never thought could happen.

Image
Roselani Kealoha | 19 | Power: Ocean Manipulation | Little Sister of [Marlon Teixeira FC] | Face Claim: Ariana Grande | Taken

She's seen as the baby of group even if she isn't the youngest of them, not really able to keep herself out of trouble or that's at least how her brother, [Marlon Teixeira FC] sees it. Which may be a bit true. She does like to have adventures that end up having either her father or her brother have little heart attacks. She is a proud surfer through and through and has never lost until last summer when she lost to [Blair Redford FC] which she is not happy about. But, now that she can control her power she is willing to use it.

Image
Jasmine Linn | 18 | Power: Volcano Generation | Face Claim: Jamie Chung | Taken |

This girl was actually born on the mainland but moved to the island when she was ten, still young enough to make friends with the group. She, let's be honest is the brains. She's the one that gave them the idea of messing with the visitors in the first place. When she thought about it, she saw it as a way to scare the tourists by telling them about the gods and making them believe it was the gods and it was a way to practice their powers without having to be around their parents.

Image
Hiwalani-Noa Noelani-Mano Kealoha | 20 | Power: Siren Song | Face Claim: Miranda Kerr | Taken |

She has always been seen as the pretty one out of the girls. Always getting the guys, always getting what she wanted because of her rich parents. And, at first the other weren't close to her because of that, but once finding out about her power they decided to give her a chance. After which she became a close friend to most of them (remember I said most). This is her first summer actually spending in town seeing that she always used to travel all over the world in search of a summer romance.

Image
Emily Moore | 19 | Power: Air Manipulation | Face Claim: Lily Loveless | Twin Sister of [Alex Pettyfer FC] | Taken |

Her, along with her brother, [Alex Pettyfer] are definitely the two 'black sheep' of the group. The natives still have a hard time believing that a family from the rich side of England decided to move to their small town. And of course with that, the group was very wary of the two. And it took them close to two years for the group of native teenagers to actually be welcoming to him and his sister. But after he discovered his powers, the group knew that they should at least and try become their friends.

Image
_______ Kealoha | Power: Storm Manipulation | Older Brother of [Ariana Grande FC] | Face Claim: Marlon Teixeira | Reserved |

He's the leader, always has been since he was in a freshmen in high school. He's the one that most of the girls on the island either want to be with or have been with at one point or another. But, the one girl who he may be a bit over protective of and could never hurt is his younger sister, seeing her as naive and over-trusting. Wanting to keep her out of trouble, especially when the mainlanders decide to come around their island and take over the beach that they all love to spend time at. He, along with all the other natives aren't ecstatic about the tourist coming back.

Image
Kai Haku Kealoha | 18 |Power: Lunar Manipulation | Face Claim: Boo Boo Stewart | Taken |

He's the youngest of the boys, but unlike [Ariana Grande] he isn't treated that way. He's easily the nicest of the group, not really caring much about messing with the tourists... Not that he doesn't do it whenever he feels like they deserve it. But, most of the time the others sort of push him to do so not that he cares much seeing that he sees them as the siblings he's never had. (Only child) Asked for the tourists, he's actually a little welcoming, but not for the reasons people think. He loves having the tourist around just so he and the other can show off.

Image
Henry Lee | 18 | Power: Summer Manipulation | Face Claim: Harry Shun Jr. | Taken |

He like [Jamie Chung], wasn't born on Lahaina, but he was born on another island on Hawaii. Moving here three years ago but he has shown them that he's not just another person coming to their town to invade. Which of course, made the girls want to give him a chance even with the guys against it at first. But just like the others, he had become close to the other young adults in their little group. Asked for the visitors? He hasn't really shown that he dislikes them or not. He, like the other just like to freak them out from time to time.

Image
Douglas Moore | 19 | Power: Earth Manipulation | Face Claim: Alex Pettyfer | Twin Brother of [Lily Loveless] | Taken|

He is always the surprise of the group along side his sister, [Lily Loveless].

Christian Jean-Claude Belizaire | 20 | France | Face Claim: Liam Hemsworth | Taken |
He was born into a very wealthy French family, a family that was known for their business that produces almost everything to toilet paper to automobiles. known as Belizaire Inc. And as much as he was spoiled he was always compared to his older brother which may be a large factor to the resentment he hold towards his seemly perfect older brother. But, that is not the reason he is on the island. He is on Maui to see whether it would be worth extending his family’s company to the island.

Image
Jackson Franklin | 20 | Detroit, Michigan | Face Claim: Dougie Poynter | Taken |

After extensive rehabilitation, Jackson got a plane ticket to visit his cousin in Honolulu as a reward/excuse to get him out of the country while his gang affiliates calmed down. After a disagreement with his cousin, however, Jackson now boards through Maui, hoping to regain the years he has lost, restart his life and find a new path to lead before being sent home.

[font=timenewsroman]1. You may change your FC ONCE and only a couple of them am I willing to change, but if you do change it... It may not be someone I have seen in almost EVERY single RP I look at like Claire Holt, Selena Gomez, Holland Roden, OR Any girl from PLL (Pretty Little Liars).

1.5 (sort of) I would really, really like everyone to take a male and a female or a male and another male unless you made the reservation in my other Rp.

2. Post on the OOC to reserve AND have the password. Do NOT private message, please. After you're reservation is made, you have two days to finish the character sheet. I don't like giving extensions. If you're too busy to make a CS, then you're too busy to post; that's the rule I always abide by.

3. If you can't post for a while, please let me know! It'd be greatly appreciated. Activity is needed to keep any RP alive. Please don't let this die.

4. Yes, I have Face Claims, do not flood the OOC saying how much you dislike them. Please.

5. As for post length, no one liners. You must post at least 160-300 words MINIMUM. Sorry, if that seems a lot but, then maybe you shouldn't join.

6. This roleplay is for mature people only. If you can't accept violence, swearing, drinking, sexual content, and such, then don't join.

7. I want to see interaction with EVERYONE. Just because your character doesn't get along doesn't mean you have an excuse to not talk to someone. Make drama!

8. With number 7 said, make drama IN character not OUT OF character. If you have a problem let me know

8.5. The first part of the password is your favorite hobby.

9.I know a few people who join and then disappear, and I do have the right to decline a reservation but, I will do it in PM

10. You MUST read these rules! The second part of the reservation is: Your Dream Vacation.

11. If you do not have the passwords, I will ignore your reservation and not reply to it. Get it? Got it? Good.

12. Have fun. This is all in good fun!

| Outfit | I Gotta Feeling |

Hiwalani-Noa smiled in her sleep, rolling over as her dream went on; Her dreams were basically reality as she dreamed often of basking in the rays of the sun on her island, Ukupanipo. She had been visiting the small island since she was a child and nobody else ever went there - With the recent exception of her friends and cousins. She had named it after her favorite Hawaiian God - And her father's nickname. But her dream didn't last long, being rudely awakened by her little sister pouncing on her at the same time her alarm clock went off. β€œHo`Γ’la, kaikua'ana! Ho`Γ’la, Hiwalani-Noa!”, Luluaβ€˜ina screeched. The brunette groaned and rolled over, taking Luluaβ€˜ina with her as she hit the floor.

β€œWaiho!” She grunted, grabbing the chubby little girl by her feet and dragging her out, quickly running back into her room and slamming the door. Her day was starting early - She looked over at the clock and shook her head. What eight year old was up and screaming at seven thirty during the summer?! At least she was going back home today and Lani could get some stuff done without Lulu in her way. She was in and out of the shower in a flash, slipping on her favorite black bikini and a pair of capri sweats before scanning her dresser.

Most women her age had loads of makeup scattered across their room - Not her. She hardly had any hair ties. Her dresser was covered with pictures and piercings - Of which she grabbed a few. An anchor for her navel, a light up one for her tongue, her favorite industrial barbells, and a glow in the dark pair for her shark bites. Admiring her piercings and tattoos, she ran her fingers through her hair and fluffed the knee-length locks before grabbing her Jericho backpack while sliding on her lucky bracelet and heading out, calling out to her father. β€œA hui hou! Aloha au la β€˜oe Makuakane!” She was out the door before her father could reply, knowing he was there to pick up Lulu and was probably fixing her breakfast.

She grabbed the keys to the blue four wheeler parked in the dirt driveway, soon peeling out and heading away from her home on the beach into town. She stopped at several stalls and small shops to pick up things that were placed carefully into her backpack; a couple of apples, some sandwiches, a bottle of whiskey, and a container of cherries. All that she needed to start her morning. She made a few other stops to deliver a few things to the elders as well, but she had one ultimate destination in mind.

Now? Off to HiΚ»iaka Studio to meet the others before heading out for the day - She was really hoping to go camping on Ukupanipo tonight after the big beach bash. Her last two weeks were spent babysitting her little sister and working at both the Studio and her father's restaurant and she finally had free time that she intended on spending well. She parked outside, unlocking the doors and slipping inside where she headed directly for Studio Mano where she taught and began her stretches.

Kai Haku Kealoha

The tall young man cracked open an eyelid as the sun's rays sneaked its way into the spacious dark room. He was curled up at the bottom of the queen sized bed, wrapped in blankets despite the typical warm weather of Lahaina. His body felt stiff and the now-eighteen year old groaned quietly. At the moment, the last thing Kai wanted to do was go outside for some activity that required a lot of movement. Yet... it may be just what he might need. Blankly, Kai bit his lip and began to unravel his lean body from the blankets and the bed, stifling a curse here and there. When the Native was finally standing right side up, Kai walked slowly to his closet, dark eyes searching for something suitable inside. He rolled his shoulders, trying to loosen the soreness.

Reaching in, Kai grabbed a long sleeved t-shirt that was an off white in color with a black smiley face in front. Then Kai grabbed some black swim shorts printed repeatedly with white flower of all sizes. Dressing gingerly, Kai poked his head out the door of the room, his black hair was all messed up and with one hand, he brushed a comb through it hurriedly. It was a big house, especially for just two people, but one could never be too sure. Glancing around quickly, Kai made his way carefully and quickly across the hallway, he slipped into the bathroom. There, his hand pulled his tooth brush out the holder, brushed his teeth, washed his face and peeked out the door again.

Usually after one of his... tantrums, his father slept in well into the afternoon and it was only seven. Stepping out, Kai Haku Kealoha grabbed his keys and his wallet before silently going down the stairs. Beer bottles and cans were everywhere so Kai looked before he stepped, trying to make as little noise as possible. It was second nature to the young man now. Thankfully, Kai would be moving out soon. He was blessed that money had never been a problem in his life.

Kai took a deep breath as the sun hit his face, stretching out his arms and tilting his head back. He was glad he hadn't stayed in. After inhaling deeply and stretching the soreness out of his body, Kai got into his great big white van. He started driving toward the grocery store. The cooler in the trunk would have to be filled. And since his father owned about a third of the businesses here in Maui, Kai felt that he should pick up some slack and get the goodies for the trips the group went on occasionally. He didn't mind. Pulling into E 'ai Kakou owned by Erewaka Kealoha, he ran in, smiling cheerfully at the other customers and waving to familiar faces. It wasn't like he actually paid, there really wasn't any need to, so he grabbed three bags full of snacks, ice, and drinks. Threw the ice and drinks into the cooler, and went back to driving. He was a bit early, but it should be fine.

He wondered what they were going to do today. Something dangerous would be awesome. he could use some of the adrenaline now. Kai pulled into the studio HiΚ»iaka Studio and grinned as he saw the shine of blue of Hiwaloni-Noa's car and sauntered inside. She was a pretty cool person and Kai was glad that she wasn't traveling this summer. It would be some nice quality family and friend time. He really had no problem with any of the gang. It was just that they had invited some tourists and whenever they were concerned, Kai was slightly wary. Though so far, he thought most of them were pretty cool.

Christian Jean- Claude Belizaire

Christian woke up with a splitting headache and a an empty bottle of wine in his lap. His spacious living room was messy and trashed. He'd thrown a party last night for the richest people in the state. Many young heirs had come instead of the older more respected presidents to Christian's disapointment. He had been hoping to meet some of the more powerful, influential people there and fall into some good graces. However, most who came had been snot-nosed brats just wanting to have a good time. They guzzled up all of his best wines and champagnes. The blond man seethed just thinking about the failure of the night. All that trouble for nothing! He threw the bottle angrily on the ground, flinching as it shattered loudly on the hard wooden floor.

Nevermind the hangover, none of the Kealohas had showed up. They were probably one of the most important families on the island, in the state! Christian stood, dusting off his slept in jeans with his hands. He stepped around the broken shards of glass. Heck, it wasn't like this was his house. He'd call the cleaning people and they should take care of this right up. He went to the kitchen, took out a freezing water bottle out of the fridge and drank it down thirstily. The icyness made him feel more alert and he stomped into his room to change into something cleaner. An hour later, Christian was dressed in a ironed red swim shorts along with a custom made collared button down that was freshly laundered and pressed. he had
He slipped on some leather sandals, grabbed his money and the keys to his rental car. It was shiny and sleek and it had an open top just how Christian Jean-Claude Belizaire the fourth liked it. He flipped open a compartment and slipped on some expensive shades that probably costed more than a microwave or a small laptop. He liked having the best.

Anyway, he had heard from some other tourist that a bunch of Native were taking some tourists out for an outing. He couldn't really get himself to be thrilled about what was planned.... but Kealohas would be there. Best way to create business was to get close. And with his obvious good looks, money, and powerful name, who wouldn't want to get close to him?

He drove to some weird studio of some sort and sat in the car, waiting until he saw some familiar faces. It was really annoying to get up so early for some silly little trip, but business was important and this was business. He lowered his shades and winked at a couple of young joggers running in short booty shorts and sports bras. They blushed and tittered, and Christian grinned, feeling absurdly confident. He loved himself, seriously. If anyone was perfect, it was him. Maybe he'd find some naive gullible Native to seduce tonight.

Laylani
the outfit| the song

Laylani awoke to sun glaring into her bright green eyes. She turned over trying to shield her face to no avail. She wondered how her grandma dealt with it everyday, or how she had dealt with it. She yawned as she sat up in her bed. She leaned over and pushed aside the billowy curtains covering all sides of the bed. she glanced around the room, her room. She had to admit it was weird staying in her grandmother's house while her grandmother couldn't.

She stood up and stretched her long tan arms. She tossed her legs over the side of the bed, and ran her hand through her wild mane of curls hanging down to her butt. She walked outside to her outdoor shower and turned on the hot water. She let the water surround her. She finished her long hot shower wrapped herself in a thick soft towel and returned to her room.

She walked over to her dresser and pulled on an outfit. First she slipped on a floral string bikini, and coated herself in bronze sunscreen before putting on the rest of her outfit. she combed her hair, slipped on some jewelry, and rubbed some coconut and vanilla oil. She placed a flower crown atop her hair, which was now dying into soft waves. "k, now I'm ready," She said slipping on her Rayban wayfers before grabbing the keys to her teal rented moped.

She headed to the beach and sat on the edge of the pier. She pulled out her phone and opened a new text message.

Hey you up yet? I'm so bored please tell me you have something planned

Hiwalani-Noa bent over and placed her forearms on the wooden floor, looking straight ahead as she began to curve her lower body, bringing her legs over her head until her feet were firmly on the ground beside her head. She glanced over by the door as it opened to see her cousin (or at least one of them) walk in. β€œAloha kakahiaka.” She greeted him with a dazzling white smile, bringing her legs back while pushing up with her forearms and sliding to place her hands down. Walking on her hands, she approached him before fluidly bringing herself into an upright position, wrapping him in a tender hug.

A smaller head peeped inside the door, being one of Lani's eight younger sisters. This one was Aikane. Her big brown eyes were wide as she whispered rather loudly. β€œLani! There's a haole in a fancy car outside. That one that's been hanging around you. Blonde hair. Blue eyes. The one you called a ule.” Lani peeked over from Kai's shoulder and made a soft "tsk tsk" before releasing her cousin. β€œAikane - Go work on your hula for the junior pageant in mom's studio. You know she'll be there soon. Kai, I'll be back in a second.”

She offered a devious smile before shimmying past him and her sister. She fluffed her hair some more and adjusted her bikini top a little more to show just a bit more cleavage before walking out the front door with her natural seductive sway in her elegant strut, flipping her hair in that rich-girl way. β€œSo, you are...mmm. Stalking. Yes. You are stalking me?” With her thick native accent, Hiwalani struggled to find the proper word in English. She knew the language well, but often forgot a few words.

She leaned against the car, crossing her arms over her chest with a light grin, an upbeat hum coming from her. She could see males passing by stopping with floored jaws, drawn to her melody. She ended it abruptly and watched as they waved bashfully before scurrying off to work. She glanced over a bit, curious of Christian's reaction. She knew he would be affected by it, of course, but every guy had their own way of expressing attraction. She didn't like the guy at all and had been enjoying pulling his strings since the day they met, but her game had only just begun.

Emily Moore

Outfit for the day

Emily had woken up in the morning, and the sun was peaking in through her window. She looked around her room, and all around her paintings were there, and she had an art wall where she could paint and draw on all the time if she wanted, her room was creative and interesting and Emily had rather enjoyed her room very much. She took in a deep breath and she sat up. She could feel her blonde hair was a bit messy, and she knew it was only a matter of brushing it. She brought her hands up to her eyes and she began to rub her eyes and then her arms stretched out above her head as she managed a yawn.

Pulling back the covers, Emily swung her legs so her feet could land on the hardwood floor. She walked over to the windows and she shut the curtains so there would be no peeping toms looking her way, that'd be rather creepy for Emily, although she hardly doubted that there would be a problem with it. Emily then walked over to her dresser and rummaged through the little bits of clothes that she had. She found her bikini, with the avengers on the top, and set it down on top with some black bikini bottoms. Emily then started to strip down until she was standing there in the nude, she grabbed he bikini bottom and she slipped it on. Then she put on her avengers themed bikini top and then she rummaged through her drawers a bit more. She found her purple galaxy shorts and smiled, she had made them herself, and she then slipped on her shorts, and did the button up and zipped them up. Afterwards, Emily just pulled out a white shirt, saw it had an owl on it shrugged and then slipped it on. Emily didn't care.

Going over to the bathroom she had looked in the mirror, she really disliked over use of makeup but she did use some herself, she put on a plain foundation, blending her skin tone a little bit, and getting rid of any redness on her face. Then she put on a light layer of blue eye shadow just to give a bit of colour, and then she used a bit of mascara. After that she was done with the makeup part of getting ready. She grabbed her brush and she began to brush through her hair, getting all the knots out an smoothing it down. She grabbed her heat protecting spray and sprayed it into her hair and waited a bit as her straightner heated up. She soon had her hair straightened and she braided it down her back.

Emily grabbed her wallet and her phone, and then slipped on her shoes. She went into the kitchen and then pulled out a slip of paper, telling Douglas that she was walking so he could have the car today. They often took turns with it or shared it, but considering Emily wanted to leave now, and walking wasn't bad, she opened the closet and noticed her beanie, so instead she took her braid out and rearranged her hair. She then slipped the beanie on and walked out the door.

Emily walked for about an hour or two, and then she was into town. She walked down the streets a bit and eventually she ended up finding a store, and she went in and got a small bag, and filled it up with her favourite sour candies and then she bought a small thing of chocolate milk. She put it up on the counter and once she saw the total she pulled out her wallet and gave them the exact change. That was when she said a small thank you and then walked out. She walked down the streets looking around and she smiling at people and waving at the same time. She then opened her chocolate milk and took a sip and closed it again, she didn't want it to spill after all.

If this was a normal day in the life of Jackson, he would be asleep until at least nine; on weekends, he was even worse barely waking up before ten. Yet, there was something different about today: he awoke with his head on the floor. To be more specific, his head was on the floor, his body somewhat sprawled on the bed somehow. Jackson wasn’t sure how he managed to pull it off, but the groan that was given off was only the first sign of the discomfort he felt.

Jackson truly couldn’t remember how he had gotten himself in this mess. He hadn’t much to drink last night after touring, and he was pretty certain that he hadn’t smoked any pot last night either: especially after trying that Maui Wowie stuff a week ago. Jackson normally could hold his own, but that stuff was potent shit. Then again, Jackson didn’t realize how fine the grass was until he took a little more than everybody else. Probably not his best move, as his head certainly was in protest for the next few days. Needless to say, Jackson would be avoiding getting stoned over this holiday: didn’t need to to repeat that process.

So Jackson picked himself off the ground, his neck resisting the motions as he twisted and turned his head to stretch it out. While he did so, he scanned the room, which looked like it had been last night: a few empty beer bottles on the dresser, his clothes in a disarray and the TV still on- wait. Jackson finally tuned into the music from Super Mario World 64 as he finally noticed that he had left the TV on after his session. Cursing, he rushed over to turn it off, only to remember that he wasn’t entirely in his own room. After all, Jackson was in probably the cheapest hotel room in all of the Maui (no joke, he literally scoped it out and made sure) which was still pretty steep for a kid that rarely had the money to spend. The room itself was pretty small, with a little bathroom to the side and a double bed taking up most of the room’s space. However, Jackson didn’t mind: he wasn’t on this island to stay cooped up in his room, after all.

So Jackson finally got his neck feeling a little more loose as he thrrew off his clothes - he had sort of forgot to take them off, but there was a laundromat in the lobby so he was fine - and entered the shower. Not 5 minutes later, Jackson reappeared into his hotel room fully bathed and shaved. Not really knowing what he would be doing today, Jackson threw on clothing that seemed suitable: a tighter fitting t-shirt that cut off right below the shoulders and a pair of shorts. Well, they were more for swimming, but that was what half of his shorts were, since he was hoping to be in the water for most of his excursion, despite that he had been making little progress in his fear. Grabbing a pair of ankle socks and his beanie, Jackson carefully placed his screw earrings ones more, and then decided to put his nose ring in for the hell of it.

When he was finally dressed, Jackson made sure that his skateboard was secure to his mini backpack - which, yes, did have some vodka in it - before grabbing his wallet and phone. Now, phone would be a weird statement, as this would be Jackson’s first ever cell phone. Again, a present from his parents before he left so that he could contact them in case of emergencies or if he went into withdrawal somehow. As he finished putting on his backpack with skateboard, he noticed something that made him cringe: a half full beer bottle. β€œOh dammit all.” He hated wasting alcohol in such a manner, even if he didn't think alcohol was all that great in the first place: what it was to him was a way to wind down, a socializer, and expensive as all hell.

Sighing, he grabbed the bottle and his shades before heading towards the door to grab his longboard to head out. He immediately put them on upon getting outside, since to Jackson the sun was absurdly bright and hot on this little island. Nevertheless, he started jogging a little before placing his board down with one hand, and then jumped on to start his cruise.

Truthfully, Jackson had no idea where he was going today: then again, that was how he worked on most days. No point in having a specific location to go when you have three months of relaxation. So there he went, longboarding through the streets with a beanie on his head and a nearly finished stale beer in his hands - probably not a sight the locals were to familiar with, especially the beanie, but it bothered him not. All he knew was that he hoped something daring would happen, and this beer would finish itself.

Aidan wrapped a towel around his waist before grabbing another one to dry his matted hair. His bright topaz eyes were glued to the screen of his laptop as he trekked into his hotel room, still scrubbing fat droplets from his bronze locks. On the screen was a notification, signalling that--yet again--his parents were checking in on him. He understood the reason why; they were curious and worried about his emotional stability since he was in search of the man that gave him up to a life of never ending questions and misery. Hell, if the tables were turned, he'd be the one that was constantly messaging them. It warmed his heart to know that they cared, regardless of the fact that he wasn't really their son, but they treated him like he literally came from their gene pool. Aidan sighed, nonetheless, despite his understanding. He ventured to his suitcase, that he never unpacked because it was a symbolic reminder that he was here on a mission. This was not about fun and games...okay, that was bullshit, Aidan was having the time of his life, but he still had to remember that he was mainly here to find his birth father. As he flung the towel around his waist across the room, he grabbed a pair of boxers and a T-shirt that bared the words 'I'm the reason why we can't have nice things.' on the chest. After deeming himself presentable enough to communicate with his parents, Aidan pulled his laptop onto his lap as he plopped onto his bed. The pad of his finger guided the mouse to the Skype icon, where a message from his mother awaited him like an angry beacon.

Any news? Video chat with me...I forgot how to do it myself...

Aidan shook his head at his mother's technological illiteracy. He clicked the video chat button, awaiting her answer. Sure enough, she popped onto his screen with her wide brown eyes and broad smile greeting him with excitement.

"Hey," he waved into the camera, "No leads yet, but I think I'm getting close."

"How so?" She quirked a brow, watching with a knowing look adorning her elegant features. "Have you asked questions? Showed anyone the picture? Followed any clues?"

Aidan smiled meekly, knowing that she was aware of his constant partying. "Well, no...no...and this isn't Scooby Doo, mom. I've been following my guts and making a few acquaintances, here and there, but give me a bit more time and I think I'll be able to give you a full report."

His mother sighed, "I'm not rushing you, Andy...it's just that it's a bit nerve racking to know that you're so far away, looking for your birth father. You can't blame me for being concerned."

"I don't," He smiled, fondly. "Look, mom, I have to go. Meeting Avery for a day on the beach."

"Avery? Is that the one with the red hair?"

"No, that's Red Velvet," Aidan chuckled. "Avery is the one with a pole up her butt."

"Oh," his mother nodded. "Well, have fun and be safe."

"I will," Aidan waved into the camera before signing off. He then finished getting ready for his day.

Aidan knocked on Avery's door with tip of his foot, kicking the door repeatedly and obnoxiously. "Avery!" He shouted. "If you're not awake, dressed, and front and center within the next fifteen minutes, I'm breaking in and pulling you out here as you are. You and I have a date with the beach, so let's go, baby!" He leaned against the wall, waiting whilst timing her with his watch. "Tick tock, Avery," he mused. "I know how to lockpick."

Avery, being the girl she had had stayed up most of the night to read and finish this love story she had gotten from the local library the day before. But, she couldn't put it down, every page she read made her have to keep going. And made her want to know the ending even more than most books. But, as most books end. It had to end on a cliff hanger, making the reader decide what happened to the couple, if they lived "happily ever after" or if they ended up like most couples today. Not being one to believe in fairy tails, she sighed and set the book on top of the large pile of books on her nightstand before sinking deeper in her bed and snuggling up to her blanket. Drifting off to sleep.

She didn't know how much sleep she got until she heard a repeat banging on her door. Before hearing some man shout through the door, "Avery!" Aidan Frost. A boy she had just met a little over three weeks ago and he already pushing to do things against her will. Saying that she had a "pole up her ass" and she should really live a little more. "If you're not awake, dressed, and front and center within the next fifteen minutes, I'm breaking in and pulling you out here as you are. You and I have a date with the beach, so let's go, baby!" She scoffed and turned her back towards the door before closing her eyes once more. "Oh, please. Break in my ass."
Was the one thought in her head while hearing the banging stop. "Tick tock, Avery, I know how to lockpick." She heard him tell her through the door. Letting out a groan, she reluctantly got out of her bed and walked towards her door kicking it back. She leaned on the door before speaking to Aidan. "There are hundreds of other girls in this town, in this hotel and yet you choose to annoy and irritate me... Why is that?" She walked away from the door and towards her dresser to pick out an outfit for the day. She grabbed a pair of jean shorts, a white tank top and a vest to wear over the shirt, just to make sure her scars were completely hidden and unable to see. She turned her hazel gaze over to the bathroom, wondering if she has enough time to shower. But the more she thought about it the more she realized she probably be finished showering, having her towel wrapped tightly around her body right when Aidan unlocked the door, carrying her out in nothing but a towel with her hair drenching the floor. Shaking the thought out of her head and slipped her gray sweatpants and black tank top, tossing them in the open dresser drawer.

She slid her clothes on, taking a brief look at the burns an scars running along her back, stomach, and sides that tainted her porcelain skin. She of course, just shook it out of her head as she slipped her top on and turned toward the full length mirror, making sure everything was somewhat decent. She looked a then time; five minutes until Aidan was supposedly going to lockpick her door. Part of her wanted to see if he was serious about what he had said but the other part felt like he was lying in order to see if she would actually hurry up so they could get to the beach, a trip she never even knew she agreed to. She walked towards the restroom, knowing good well she wasn't about to go anywhere without wearing her makeup and she wasn't about to step foot in the water and show to word her scars. She return to Boston before doing something like that. She quickly did her makeup and looked at the time, just in time... But, for some reason she froze where she was standing and got a smirk on her face. Seconds later, she was leaned against her door once more and chuckled. "I have a hard believing that you can break in to this room. If you can lockpick this door, then fine I'll go. I'll go out partying with you tonight. If not, I'm staying right here while you can go mess with some other poor girl." She smirked as she quietly bolted the top with a chuckle. "Oh and since you rushed me. Three minutes. Tick tock, Aidan."

Rose's will be up soon.

"There are hundreds of other girls in this town, in this hotel and yet you choose to annoy and irritate me... Why is that?" He heard his victim's muffled voice through the door. Aidan couldn't hold back his amused smirk as he leaned against the wall, checking his watch and timing the woman. "I see that pole hasn't slid out of your ass yet," he mused. "I guess you're lucky, Avery. You have managed to gain my undivided attention and that is quite a feat, I'm impressed." His tone was laden with sarcasm and playfulness as usual. Honestly, he enjoyed pushing Avery's buttons, mainly because she was a walking puzzle to him, and Aidan loved a good challenge. Her resistance to let loose merely urged him to push her into trying new things. She may hate him for it now, but he felt like she'd thank him for it later. Besides, he wanted to see how long it would take for her to snap. He was surprised that she put up with him for this long, actually. The girl had patience, that's for damn sure.

Minutes ticked by and Aidan kept track of every second, sighing when she reached the five minute mark. "I have a hard time believing that you can break into this room. If you can lockpick this door, then fine I'll go. I'll go out partying with you tonight. If not, I'm staying right here while you can go mess with some other poor girl."

Aidan quirked a brow as his interest was piqued. It is true that he was bluffing, but now that she had thrown the proverbial gauntlet down; he wanted to win this challenge. "Challenge accepted."

"Oh and since you rushed me. Three minutes."

"Wait? What!" Aidan gasped, staring at the door in disbelief. "But I gave you fifteen minutes."

"Tick tock, Aidan."

Huffing, Aidan looked around the empty hallway, searching for something...anything that would help him. A short bing could be heard as the nearby elevator doors opened and to a housekeeper waltzed out with her cart. Instantly, Aidan looked at his watch, seeing that he merely had two minutes and fifty-four seconds left. He raced to the woman as she made her way to one of the rooms. "Hi...uh hola! I'm sorry to trouble you, but I kind of locked myself out of my room," he said, coyly scratching the back of his head. He was putting his acting abilities to the test as he smiled meekly. The woman eyed him skeptically as if sensing that this wasn't his room.

"If I remember correctly," she said with a raise of her brow. "I've been seeing a young woman walking in and out of there for the past few weeks." Aidan tried not to allow his disappointment to show as he glanced at his watch. Two minutes and twenty-four seconds.

"That's my girlfriend. She is really mad at me...so she locked me out. Can you help me? You'll be saving a relationship since this girl is the love of my life and I really don't want to lose her just because I can't open a door." He batted his lashes, looking broken and sad. He had mastered the look. "I can't imagine life without her. Please...just help me."

She looked him over as Aidan counted the seconds down in his head. Nineteen...eighteen...seventeen. "Fine," the housekeeper sighed, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm a hopeless romantic." He beamed, ushering her over to the door.

"Thank you, so much. I'll name our first daughter after you for this," he looked at her nametag. "Jack?"

"Short for Jacqueline ," the woman shrugged as she opened the door. Aidan only had one minute left. The tumbles clicked and the door was pushed open. He smiled at the sight before him. He strolled into the room, slinging his arm over Avery's shoulder and holding her close to him before placing a kiss on her cheek. "Honey, I'm home." He beamed, mockingly before turning back to the housekeeper. "Again, I say, thank you for reuniting me with my beloved. Thank the nice housekeeper, babe." He smirked devilishly at Avery before holding her tighter and laughing sarcastically. "Don't we look cute together."

Douglas shifted in his queen-size bed, his brain already mindfully aware that its a new day. Douglas grunted in exhaustion and stretched weakly. Douglas moved his head to where his great sized window would be, sunlight was beaming through his closed gray blinds. The bed sheets soared to the side as Douglas quickly got up. He moved slowly to the side of his blinds and pulled them up. Light swarm the spacious room giving it colour and Douglas weakly smiled to himself. He had the nicest view of Lahanina, the view of the mountains, the entire town, and the beach which wasn't far away from his home. Looking at the beach and taking note of the warm weather encouraged Douglas to not let this beautiful day go to waste. His plan was to go surfing and the thought of riding waves gave his heart a little thud of adrenaline.

Douglas hurried to the washroom and striped himself of his briefs. He jumped into the shower but before doing so he played his Ipod player which echoed music rather loudly through the entire house. He sang along to his favourite song, Douglas' indie voice was synchronized with the lead singer's voice. Their voices both mended well but their little sing off came to a end as soon as Douglas was done washing his hair. He dried off and stared at his naked body through the mirror. β€œWow” Douglas exclaimed, he smirked, he was some what proud of his good physique. He ran his fingers through his messy beach dirty blond hair, he truly did look like a typical surfer dude. With a wink to the mirror Douglas wrapped a towel around his waist and left the washroom to scavenge his room for a pair of swimming trunks. β€œAha!” throwing himself back from behind a armchair, he was holding his Hawaiian swimming trunks. He slipped them on and threw his towel towards the washroom and went straight to the kitchen to get a quick bite.

Douglas poured himself down a bowl of Lucky Charms but doing so he happened to notice a note left on the counter. Emily had left the note, Emily had left Douglas the car. Douglas smiled, his day was seemingly getting better and better. When he was done with his cereal, he went straight to the garage to get his things ready for the day. The garage door sled open, there was an all black Jeep and in the far back of the garage was Douglas’ surf board. It was long and narrow and pearly white with a beige outline. It almost felt like the board itself was calling him out, to take it out for a ride. He attached his surf board to the top of the Jeep and went quickly into the house to retrieve his wallet, phone and the car keys. Back, he entered the car, opened all the windows, tuned to his favourite radio station and was finally off to the beach.

"I see that pole hasn't slid out of your ass yet, I guess you're lucky, Avery. You have managed to gain my undivided attention and that is quite a feat, I'm impressed." Eh, he wasn't the first to say that. And, sure maybe she did have a pole up her ass but, what was she suppose to be? Not everyone could be as out going and "fun" as Aidan and most of the other people on the island around their age. She didn't even answer him because she was so busy getting ready. "Wait? What! But I gave you fifteen minutes." She shrugged and smirked even more, hearing the disbelief in his voice. And she watched the clock on the white wall as the seconds began to begin. One after another. She put her head closer to the door, trying to hear what he was doing. Because to the sound of it, it seems like he had given up and walked away. Which did disappoint her a bit. Whether she would admit it or not, she like spending time with Aidan. He at least was making her summer memorable. She could hear two muffled voices but she couldn't make out everything the two voices were saying. But she did catch a few things; "That's my girlfriend. She is really mad at me...so she locked me out. Can you help me? You'll be saving a relationship since this girl is the love of my life and I really don't want to lose her just because I can't open a door." She scoffed before having her mouth drop to the floor."Oh, that little cheater." She said in her head before hearing Aidan spew out even more lies. "There is no way in Hell, he's doing this." She said to herself.

Looking in the peep hole, she saw a woman in a maid's uniform about to open the door for a smiling Aidan Frost. She backed away from the door as it unlocked and had a raised eyebrow on her face as she crossed her arms around her chest as the door opened and Aidan casually walked into the room right over to her, wrapping his arm around her. She was caught by surprise at how tightly he was holding her and even more so when the clever little bastard kissed her cheek. Avery could feel her cheeks turn a rosy color of red as she looked at the woman in front of both Avery and Aidan. "Again, I say, thank you for reuniting me with my beloved. Thank the nice housekeeper, babe." At first, the girl was at a lost of words but quickly gave in deciding to play along. She laid her head on his shoulder before looking at Jack. "Yes, thank you very much. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have him to fill my life with... surprises." She said as she looked up at the still smirking Aidan with a stare that was obviously saying she was annoyed. "Don't we look cute together." She scoffed and shook her head towards him. "You really don't have to answer if you don't want to." She told Jacqueline as the older woman smiling and shook her head."No, it's not a problem. You two are a beautiful couple, I wish you both the best." The woman turned her back to the 'couple', closing the hotel door behind her.

Avery slid out from Aidan's arm, which had tightened even more around her shoulders once asking Jack if the two of them were a cute couple. She huffed before storming to her closet, grabbing her bag, headphones, phone, and of course another book she got from the library yesterday. "That was not okay, Aidan. You didn't just cheat, but you lied saying we were together. And for what? So, you can drag to do another thing I don't want to do?" She said as she put the strap of her bag around her body. She walked to the door and sighed. She turned to look back at Aidan and sighed. "Are we going to the beach or not?"

Image"That was not okay, Aidan. You didn't just cheat, but you lied saying we were together. And for what? So, you can drag to do another thing I don't want to do?"

Aidan allowed his signature condescending smile to adorn his face as he looked Avery in the eyes. "Oh, come on," he said, exasperated. "If it weren't for me you'd be sitting around this hotel room, missing out on the awesome waves, the sunshine, and the hot guys...or girls--I don't know what you're into." He paused as he crossed his arms over his chest. "If you're going to keep bitching at me then you'll only be encouraging me to force you into having more fun, so suck it up, babe."

She looked back at Aidan before releasing a sigh, "Are we going to the beach or not?"

Aidan grinned mischievously as he approached her, wrapping his arm around her waist as he ushered her out of the room, but before he closed the door behind him, he quickly snatched her book from her hand and threw it back into the room, watching it land on the bed with a soft thud. Instantly, he shut the door and hoisted his uptight companion over his shoulder. He then proceeded to walk to the elevator, nonchalantly. "Now, Avery," he mused, giving her rear a small pat. "You should know better than to think I'd let you read while we're out together. Haven't three weeks of utter annoyance taught you anything?"

He entered the elevator with Avery over his right shoulder and his pack hanging off of his left one. Much to his relief, the elevator was empty. He didn't feel like explaining to people why he currently had his 'girlfriend' over his shoulder. He pressed the button, waiting for the device to take them to the lobby. Aidan said nothing, just humming to the music that played gently through the speakers as he waited, tapping the beat on Avery's backside.

As soon as the elevator stopped, Aidan carried Avery into the lobby. He smiled at the various quizzical stares that were directed at him. He glanced at the front desk, giving the employees a casual wave and a cheeky smirk. His hazel gaze landed on Jack, his grin widening. "We made up," he winked before exiting the hotel.

Christian Jean-Claude Belizaire

The Natives here were so fun to play around with. Christian had already received four different numbers from attractive female individuals. Hopefully, none of them were the clingy, emotional type that wanted commitment. He hated sleeping with the same girl twice, though he had some exceptions once in a while. The day was really bright and Christian grumbled, swiveling his head toward the entrance of the studio. This was irritating. Then Chris's eyebrows rose as the gorgeous Kealoha exited, coming straight toward him.

She was tan and curvy. Lot's of leg, he noticed with appreciation that were toned from all the swimming. That was one sexy lady, Chris couldn't help but stare. She had some tattoos that added to her appeal. She flipped her hair and Chris smirked at the confidence she displayed. His lips pulled back even further as she leaned against his car, giving him a nice view of her chest. Damn, she was hot.

β€œSo, you are...mmm. Stalking. Yes. You are stalking me?”

Christian just smirked at her for a second. "I was merely waiting for your lovely self to show up." He spoke in that slow husky drawl that had girls blushing and stuttering. "In fact, I wanted to ask if you'd like to go sailing with me today." The French aristocrat pushed his glasses up into his messy blonde hair, his blue eyes twinkled invitingly.

Though in the corner of his mind, he couldn't help but wish it was that little blonde girl he met a few days before. Brunettes were a nice second choice but Christian preferred the petit blondes. What was her name again? Emily was it? Christian raised an eyebrow at the Kealoha questioningly even as he made plans to find the blonde afterwards.

Kai Kealoha

Kai smiled with mild awe as his cousin expertly walked on her hands. He returned the hug warmly. The young man was really glad that Hiwaloni-Noa had decided to stay for the summer. He was about to reply but his younger cousin Akane popped her round face in.

"Lani! Kai, I'll be back in a second.” After his Hiwaloni-Noa left, Kai crouched down to give Aikane a tight bear hug.

"Morning, Kiddo. How's your dancing coming along?" He asked as she giggled and wrapped her arms around his tan neck. It was moments like these, that Kai wished he had a larger family. Everything was so much more lively with more people.

"Great! We have pageant soon!" She chattered excitedly, large eyes glowing with energy. He listened a few more moments about all her dances and how hard she had to practice before he let her go to his aunt's studio. Kai walked back outside to see what what taking Hiwaloni-Noa so long. Blonde hair, blue eyes... Kai's normally smiling lips pulled back into a straight line. It better not be who he thought it was.

Stepping out the door, Kai's mood instantly soured. His black eyes narrowed as his cousin and Christian Belizaire conversed. That man had been calling their house nonstop inviting them to a party or whatever. It disgusted him.

"Morning," Kai grinned at the tourist though it didn't particularly reach his eyes. He straightened his sturdy shoulders and tilted his head in a disdainful attitude at the stocky blonde. Then he turned to the slightly older young woman, "Ready to hit the beach Hiwaloni-Noa?"

She rolled her eyes as Aidan began speaking, "Oh, come on. If it weren't for me you'd be sitting around this hotel room, missing out on the awesome waves, the sunshine, and the hot guys...or girls--I don't know what you're into." She scoffed and mumbled under her breath. "Oh please."

"If you're going to keep bitching at me then you'll only be encouraging me to force you into having more fun, so suck it up, babe." It wasn't worth the oxygen arguing with him about this, especially in the morning when she was at her crankiest. And it never helped that he had pounded on her door to wake her up instead of just calling her or saying her name through the door like a normal person... Then again Aidan wasn't what she called normal. A normal person wouldn't even do all of this crap to get a random stranger, that he just met not even a month ago, to "slide the pole out of her ass". She looked at him in annoyance as he wrapped his arm around her waist, leading both of them out of her hotel room. But not before grabbing the book in her hands while she was looking the opposite way. She watched with her mouth open as her book landed on her queen size bed with a thud. And right when she was about to say something to him, she was lifted up and put over her left shoulder. "Now, Avery," She felt him pat her backside before speaking to him as she looked down the long hallway. "Yes, Aidan?" She said in sarcasm before he began to speak again. "You should know better than to think I'd let you read while we're out together. Haven't three weeks of utter annoyance taught you anything?"

"I don't know, maybe your stupidity is rubbing off on me." She shrugged as the pair entered the elevator that was empty. Thank God, she did not feel like having Aidan "explain" just why a girl was over his shoulder. She was waiting for him to say something to her while they were in the elevator but all he did was listen to the calming elevator music and patting her butt to the beat. "Do you mind? You already have me over your shoulder, don't push it." The elevator made a high pitch "ding" sound before the doors opened to the lobby only to have the pair getting some quite bizarre looks. Not that she could blame them all for being curious. As they walked packed the front desk and the maid that had let Aidan into her room, she gave her a fake smile before releasing a sharp sigh as soon as they were out in the sun and outside of the beach. "Great, we're outside. Now can you put me down? People keep staring.

"Rosie, it's time to wake up." This was the first thing the small red head heard as she was waking up with the sun shining into her small room. "C'mon Nani, you've been asleep for hours! That's what you get for going moonlight surfing last night. Her father said to his still sleeping daughter, who refused to wake up. But, of course she had to give in to her father, Mano's request. "I'm awake, dad." Her head still buried in her pillow. Her father was right, she should have went surfing last night but it was almost a full moon and she had to practice for tonight's surf off between the natives and the tourists or "pests" as most natives called them. She looked up at her father who was leaning on her door frame with a colorful red and yellow shirt with tropical flowers all over it. Seeing that he was an owner of a surf shop, most didn't judge him for it.

Besides, he was one of the most well known people on the island along with his two children so most people didn't care what they did. She waved at her dad with a smirk. "Bye dad. Have a good day at work." Mano rolled his eyes before closing the door behind him. She fell back into her bed, hoping to get a few more hours of sleep. That was until her black Pug, Kiko ran into her from under her bed, barking his little head off. Rose groaned and sat up on her twin size bed letting her eye adjust to the sunlight in her small room. "What do you want, Kiko?" She asked him before seeing a note on his blue and white collar. As she read the small note she couldn't help but roll her eyes, her father of course telling her to get up. Great, now she was going to have to help at the festival that the natives were having to celebrate the full moon tonight. Not that she didn't like helping them but now the tourist get to come. Which is something she is not okay with.

She just exhaled and threw the yellow sticky note in her blue plastic trash can. After a second her dog ran outside into his dog house. Leaving Rosie alone yet again. "Alright then, be that way." She got up from her twin size bed and walked to her sliding closet picking out a simple outfit and her two piece since all she was going to do was lay on the beach and obviously surf. It was in her blood to surf and take pictures, sue her. She grabbed her purse which held her light blue iPhone, her matching headphones, and her baby, longboard before grabbing her surfboard and running out of her door, seeing her dog start walking the other way. He had a collar and mainly everyone knew it was her dog, so she didn't think much of it. As she skated down the street she heard her phone vibrate with a text message. She stopped her board and looked at her message from her friend, Laylani. She sent her a quick text before heading to where Laylani probably was:You can help me set up for the festival tonight or you can come to the beach with me and a friend.

She sent another text to her new friend, Jackson. Sure he was a tourist but he was her in guy form. What wasn't to like? She sent him a text before slipping her phone into her messenger bag. Hey Jackson, wanna head to the beach with me and a friend?

She skated to the peir and saw Laylani. She picked up her board and walked over to her with her black sunglasses on. "Hey Lay. Which one sounds more fun to you? Helping people or hanging out with me and a cute guy? She said in sarcasm with a smirk on her face.

Hiwalani lifted a brow, sure that maybe he just hadn't heard her - She didn't let it bother her though because she had plenty of future chances to serenade him into madness. β€œI was merely waiting for your lovely self to show up. In fact, I wanted to ask if you'd like to go sailing with me today.” The young woman lifted a brow and tilted her head side to side before parting her lips to reply. Before she could, her cousin came out and intervened. He didn't seem happy; At least his eyes didn't. β€œMorning. Ready to hit the beach, Hiwalani-Noa? She smiled softly as Kai made no qualms about abruptly stealing her away from the Frenchman that had been blowing up the Kealohas' phones for a party. She was swimming and babysitting last night so she had blown him off completely after promising to be there.

β€œYeah, let me just get my bag.” She smiled as her mother pulled up in a large SUV, the doors immediately opening on all sides as girls and boys poured out of the vehicle. Hiwalani-Noa was one of fourteen children; Her mother seemed to give birth to litters at a time. Her older sister Lilo was the eldest and only one born single; Hiwalani-Noa was a quadruplet, the other three being males. Her mom waved and blew a kiss. β€œPehea ’oe, ipo?” She moved over to kiss both her daughter and nephew on their cheeks. β€œMaika ’i, makuahine. Actually, mister Belizaire was asking me to go sailing with him later.” She smiled and turned to the blonde, muscular male. β€œI have a few things to do but I can certainly try to pencil you in. If I can't make it, why don't you come camping later?” She winked and moved away from him, heading inside with her brothers and sisters only to get her bag and keys.

Kai smirked and turned his face away, hiding it. The spoiled blond prince was glowering, his eyes narrowed at Kai with annoyance and dislike. The Native was rather amused by this whole ordeal. His cousin could definitely hold her own at least, putting the pretty boy back in his place in a heartbeat.

Then the SUV pulled up and out came his auntie whom he adored. She made him feel like another son with her motherly attitude towards him. He accepted the kiss graciously and laughed as the kids pranced around him for Kai's attention. When the group headed inside, the tall Islander gave one final salute to the fuming blonde man and grinned when Frenchie sent him a pathetic glare.

He got in his van without looking back and revved up the engine waiting for Hiwa. He'd cruise around town a bit, looking for any friends that might need a ride then they'd head to the beach for another great day.

Hiwalani snatched up her bag and keys, locking her studio behind her before bidding her siblings goodbye. β€œAikane, here. You can have the four-wheeler for today.” She grinned at her sister before heading outside once more. Her gaze fell on Christian and she sauntered over to him. Placing the tips of her fingers against his chest, she leaned up and against him with her lips against his ear. β€œI'll see you tonight under the full moon light.”

Her voice was soft and eerily beautiful as she sang into his ear, using her Siren Song to transfer her will to him, ensuring that he would seek her out that night. She took a moment to admire the usual dazed and hypnotized, love struck look that went into a man's eyes when she used her ability before kissing his cheek to seal the deal and quickly jumping into the passenger seat of Kai's van. She had yet to reveal to anyone about her Siren Song, so she just gave Kai a sheepish smile. β€œDon't worry. I'm not even mildly interested. I'm just setting the pieces in place for a slow descent into madness. Now, let's go hit the beach!” It was likely too early for any tourists to be too far out so she could swim for a little while. She pulled out her phone and quickly ran her fingers across the keyboard.

To; Doug
Hey babe ;D Wanna take an early morning swim? I got breakfast and booze!

She smiled as her cousin drove out to their usual spot, both of them singing "Wheel in the Sky" horribly off key to the point of practically screeching, often unable to finish a verse because of bursting into laughter. She was becoming happier with her choice to stay home for the summer. As they pulled up to the beach, she was the first to hit the sand, laying out her towel and slipping off her pants, stretching out and enjoying the view. β€œSo - I've got this really great plan for later tonight. Especially concerning one Mister Belizaire.” She called out to her cousin, a smirk on her face.

Image"Let 'em stare," Aidan shrugged, purposely allowing his shoulder blade to poke Avery's stomach. "I think we're giving their mundane lives a little spark." He chuckled, giddily allowing his grin to spread onto his face. He placed Avery on her feet gingerly, for he knew that sooner or later, she'd be pounding on his back and yelling at him...it wouldn't be the first time it happened. He didn't want the natives thinking he was attempting to kidnap her or worse. He visibly shivered at the chaos it would all cause for him and he'd never finish his main mission; finding the man that abandoned him.

Aidan shook the thoughts from his head. This was a time for fun, not worry. So, he slapped a smile back on his face and draped his arm over Avery's shoulder, invading her personal space because--let's face it, Aidan didn't know the meaning of the word. He leaned into her as he guided them towards the beach. The air smelled of the sea and seagulls were greeting one another as they trekked forward. Aidan merrily hummed a random tune that he heard on the radio earlier that week and it was playing on a loop in his head. "Don't you ever get a certain song stuck in your head, but you can't--for the life of you--figure out the words?" He didn't pause before skipping to another subject. "God, the sky here is always so blue. Does it ever rain? I don't think it does. Do the people here even know what rain is? I doubt it," his words were coming out rapidly as he idly talked. It was a quirk of Aidan's. He despised silence, so he tended to shoot from subject to subject to fill the void and never really paid much attention to half of the things he was spewing, nor did he let anyone get a word in. It was his flaw, so to speak, and he knew it, but that doesn't mean he didn't embrace it.

"I'm craving nachos? Are you craving nachos? We should totally stop to get nachos, Avy! Oh! And milkshakes! We should get nachos and milkshakes. God, that sounds so good, right about now." By the time his rambling became so rapid that it was barely possible to tell what topic he was actually on, the pair had reached their destination.

Image"So, I've always wondered why they don't just call a Twinkie a cream puff, I mean, it's puffy and filled with cream. It fits, right? Or maybe it called a Twinkie because..." he looked up, upon hearing that ocean wave lapping against the grains of sand. "Oh, we're here!" He looked around, eyeing the various women and men alike sporting their tans and swimsuits. He looked his companion up and down before cocking a bronze brow.

"Great conversation, Avy, really, but I just realized something." He crossed one arm over his broad chest; his brow quirked and his fingers rubbing his smooth chin. "Have you ever heard of a bikini? Hear me out. It's the summer. Show some skin, kick back, and party. Don't get me wrong, I'm digging the whole 'I'm a vacationing nun' look, but I can tell that underneath all of those rags, there is a body of a porn star, just waiting be displayed." He smirked as an idea struck him and his hazel eyes twinkled with mischief. "You know what? We're not going onto that beach until we fix you up, Avy. You and I are going bikini shopping and making you presentable. My treat."

Laylani had already Had her clunky shoes off, tied together by the laces and tossed carelessly in her bag. Gold chain sandals now adorned her feet. She felt her iPhone, in it's chocolate bar(also chocolate scented) case, vibrate violently. She pulled it out, sniffed it, and glanced at the screen. Before she could respond she heard her old friends voice.
"Hey Lay. Which one sounds more fun to you? Helping people or hanging out with me and a cute guy? "She said with a smirk on her face. Laylani did a obnoxious fake laugh before saying "Darling do you even have to ask?" in a very well imitated Jessica Rabbit voice.

She did a generic model pose. She turned and looked over her shoulder, smoldered her eyes, and pout her naturally plump pouty lips "Now about this cute boy..?" she smirked before adding " Speaking of cute how's Kai?" She said mischievously while fluttering her eyes. She had to admit she had a tad of a crush on him. Could you blame her? "Maybe I'll see him today? Like if his amazing cousin made sure he came to the beach today?"

She kept this up for a minuet longer before busting out laughing. "Ok seriously was up?" She asked running a hand through her hair.

She loved being goofy with Rose. She could be herself with Rose since Rose knew her since they were kids. Rose knew about her mom as well, but she also knew that Laylani hated pity so she never brought it up. "And if you want I will gladly help you set up for the festival. "Feeling the sun on her and her outfit constricting her she stopped pulled out a pair of black cotton short shorts with her name spray painted across the but. She pulled off her top and skirt and continued walking as if nothing happened. This was normal behavior for her. Anyone who knew her knew she's been exposed to many cultures. Being naked never phased her, she was proud of her body so usually she didn't care. A guy started guy cat calling her to which she laughingly flipped him off. "God I missed this place, Cali is a drag. Do you know I could get arrested for that there. And waves like this," She said half joking about the first part. But as she stood there in her bikini top and shorts, she never felt more free. She sighed motioning to the waves "We get these on a good day,"

Jackson had barely gotten rid of that stale beer - which he swore the after taste would come back to haunt him - when he felt his pants buzz. Only slowing slightly, he pulled out his phone to read the text from none other than Roselani herself: Hey Jackson, wanna head to the beach with me and a friend? Jackson smirked as he swerved to evade a few pedestrians before thinking about what she had said, lowering his phone. A friend, huh? Sweet dude. New people to hang and crash with. Jackson wasn't entirely concerned if it was either a girl or a guy, as either would be freaking fantastic. After all, he needed more people to hang with for this trip, or else he would be pretty damn bored. Not to mention lonely: he had Matthew back home to game, hang and crash with, but on this island? A few acquaintances, with a few exceptions being Rose and Dougie.

Slightly picking up speed, he began to text in his painfully slow manner - he was still pretty new to texting, with this being his first phone and all. He never stopped moving, however, since if there was one thing he was good at, it was multi-tasking on a longboard. On a skateboard, hell no, but a longboard had the mobility and control needed to make things work. As if you need to even ask, Teacher ;D. Yes, found the idea of emoticons absolutely awesome, so quite a few texts that he sent usually had at least one. Random obsession he got with his phone.

He carefully put his phone into his backpack this time, and maneuvered around another person before thinking about where he was for a second. If he recalled correctly, there was a slight downward hill up ahead, with three ways to the pier - which he guessed was where Lani would be. Two of them were standard and boring, with the third having stairs: he liked stairs, so he headed towards them. However, as soon as he popped back into his head, he passed a coffee shop where a blonde with a cup was walking. Jackson's instinct was to simply evade her to continue on his own path, but something made him slow down slightly as he went around her. She looked familiar, like he had met her before. As he passed her, Jackson turned back to see a face that looked almost identical to Doug's, only of the feminine form: if Jackson remembered correctly, that was Emily Moore, Doug's twin sister. His face lit up some as he gave her a wave and a smile before turning back around to evade another pedestrian. Sure, he could have went up and talked to her, asked her where Doug was, if she wanted to come, blahdie blah: Jackson didn't think that far ahead. Smiling and waving was the first action he took, so he did.

He was nearing in on the stairs leading down to a section of the pier, so Jackson reached for his skateboard on his backpack and loosened it off. Jackson then proceeded to jump off of his longboard into a sprint, to which he did a pretty cool trick of picking up his longboard while getting onto his skateboard, laughing as he successfully pulled it off. Now closing in on the stairs, he did his next trick to cut down time: ollying down the stairs. Why, you ask? Because why not! Jackson liked to make sure his skills were in tiptop shape at all time, so getting a set of stairs to practice on was always fun.

He landed gracefully - as gracefully as one could on wood - and noticed Lani with her friend not far from his landing spot. With not much room to really maneuver, he pulled up on his skateboard to come to a quick stop. After all, the wooden planks would get pretty hazardous if he decided to attempt more boarding with all the gaps. It was really a wonder that he had landed without catching a lip. So he slipped his skateboard into his backpack as he walked over, a chill yet goofy smile on his lips from the massive amount of adrenaline that he just got from probably pulling off one of the sickest moves he had in a while. It was like cheating death, he was that pumped. Gradually, however, his adrenaline high slowly copped out, and he was not far from Lani and her girlfriend, who seemed dressed for the weather already.

Jackson finally got a good look at Lani's friend, who he didn't know how to react. She was pretty hot, he couldn't lie, but he wasn't sure about how she would react to a guy like him. Sure, you can have a smoking body, but so did a bunch of the cheer leaders he went to school with, and they were either sluts, bitches or snobs. However, Roselani called her a friend, so she couldn't be all that bad: her confidence was easily presented, that much was for sure.

"Well, Teach, I hadn't expected a party this early." His natural posture came into effect instantly as he came to a stop: if he looked anymore relaxed, he'd be asleep on his feet. He leaned on his longboard, slouching forward slightly, as he nodded towards the mystery lady. There weren't any signs that Jackson gave that he was uncomfortable with a new person here, as he made it his motto to always be open minded about other people. His reasoning was pretty simple: if people could accept him knowing he was a former drug addict, than who was he to judge others? Though, nobody on this island knew that, so really that was a pointless point.

Moving on, Jackson gave a lazy smile, turning his head back to Lani. "So, you going to introduce me to your friend here, or do I have to do it myself?" He lazily threw a small joke at Roselani. If anybody thought there was any innuendos in that statement, they would only be half right: Jackson really didn't like having to do much himself, so he always went through others first. He just hoped that she didn't introduce him as her trainee at surfing: he didn't need his pride to be attacked this early in the morning.

As Aidan continued to walk with Avery on his shoulder, the girl just had a very annoyed look on her face as people kept looking at the pair. Probably wondering why a boy had a girl over his shoulder in the first place. "Let 'em stare," She hit his back as hard as she could as he poked her in the stomach with his shoulder. The look of annoyance still on her face. "I think we're giving their mundane lives a little spark." She said nothing except shaking her head and rolling her baby blue eyes. After a moment, Aidan laid her on her feet lightly when she gave him a sarcastic smile. "Thank you for the ride, Aidan." She told him as he slung his arm over her shoulder like he did in the hotel room. She fixed her hair by putting a chuck of it behind her ear and looking as the beach began getting closer and closer. And as it did, Aidan began humming some random song that Avery couldn't put her finger on. And then his game of twenty questions began to start. "Don't you ever get a certain song stuck in your head, but you can't--for the life of you--figure out the words? God, the sky here is always so blue. Does it ever rain? I don't think it does. Do the people here even know what rain is? I doubt it," She looked at him with a raised eyebrow as he began speaking faster.

"Ummm..."
Before she could think of what to say about the two competely different topics, he began speaking again. "I'm craving nachos? Are you craving nachos? We should totally stop to get nachos, Avy! Oh! And milkshakes! We should get nachos and milkshakes. God, that sounds so good, right about now." She looked back him with a genuine smile on her face. After a moment, his rambling started becoming... cute to her. She didn't talk a lot and when Aidan did she thought it was adorable. Not that she would ever tell him that. When she felt the sand under her sneakers, she turned to see the busy beach filled of both natives and tourist either surfing, sunbathing, or just hanging out with friends. "So, I've always wondered why they don't just call a Twinkie a cream puff, I mean, it's puffy and filled with cream. It fits, right? Or maybe it called a Twinkie because..." Avery rolled her eyes again with a chuckle before he looked towards the beach as well. "Oh, we're here!" She nodded slowly and nudged him softly. "You talk a lot... You know that?" By the look of it, Aidan wasn't even paying attention to her or what she was saying. Once Aidan looked back at her, she looked at him and shrugged her shoulders. "What?"

"Great conversation, Avy, really, but I just realized something." She tilted her head slightly to the right in fake curiosity. "Have you ever heard of a bikini? Hear me out. It's the summer. Show some skin, kick back, and party. Don't get me wrong, I'm digging the whole 'I'm a vacationing nun' look, but I can tell that underneath all of those rags, there is a body of a porn star, just waiting be displayed." She breathed in deeply as he spoke and tried not to show her discomfort. Just the mention of showing her body made her nervous only because, what was she suppose to say? "You know what? We're not going onto that beach until we fix you up, Avy. You and I are going bikini shopping and making you presentable. My treat." She shook her head before protesting. "No, that's fine. Trust me, I do not do swimsuits. And you know what? You're not Mr. Fashionable yourself, Mr. I'm the reason why we can't have nice things." She said, in a defensive tone as she read his shirt. "And come to think of it, I haven't seen you shirtless once since we met. What's your excuse? You gonna tell me you don't have a nice body?" She said look at his chest before looking back up in his hazel eyes with her arms across her chest. "I'll wear a bikini only if you take off your shirt right now and leave off for the rest of the day."

"I'll wear a bikini only if you take off your shirt right now and leave off for the rest of the day."

At that, Aidan froze, eyeing Avery stonily as he tried his damnedest to hide his fear. In truth, Aidan wasn't the most confident man in the world. If anything, he was the most insecure, however, he learned to accept his imperfection and embrace the fact that wasn't attractive in the slightest. If he was going to be ugly, he was going to be the happiest ugly person he could be. Despite himself, Aidan still felt discomfort when blatantly displaying the only imperfection that he could never fix or get rid of. His scars. A multitude of jaggedly puckered marks littered his sun-kissed skin and made him resemble a beaten puppy. They induced pity and pity promoted tears and tears meant weakness; one thing that Aidan refused to expose.

He squared his jaw, honey orbs boring into Avery's petite frame, surveying her. He was battling with himself. She placed him in a very compromising position; either swallow his pride and give in to the fear of showing his most gruesome feature or kick insecurity in the ass and make Avery wish she never stepped up to him. After staring down at her intensely for what felt like forever, Aidan finally chose the latter.

"One more condition," he said as a slow evil smirk adorned his face. "Since I'm paying, I get to pick the bikini and I want you to model it for me." He didn't leave her time to argue or bitch at him anymore than she already did before he enclosed his large slender fingers around her small wrist and pulled her into the closest swimsuit shop.

"Welcome to Surf's Up! How may I help you today?" A pretty native woman asked upon their entry.

"Actually, you can," Aidan smiled, swallowing his growing anxiety. "You see, my friend here is a total prude." He gestured to Avery before continuing. "I'm trying to make her sexy because I'm a good person and whatnot. I want you to take her to the dressing rooms and make sure she stays in there while I gather some choices. We have a deal and I want her to stick to it. Do we have an understanding?"

"...err..."

Aidan sighed before pulling a ten dollar bill from his pocket. "Now?"

"Yes sir," the woman beamed, taking the money from his hand.

"Good," he then pushed Avery toward the employee and winked. "I'll see you on the other side, babe."

The car engine roared before Douglas turned it off. He was finally here, the beach glimmered with magnificent colour. The glistening sand was the greatest gold, the water was a clear blue, the waves would rise but fall as soon as it touched the edge of the beach. There was only a couple of people who were walking along the side of the water and Douglas frowned. Maybe it was yet too early in the morning but he was really looking forward to seeing someone he knew. About to exit his car Douglas’ phone went off, vibrating uncontrollably, he quickly opened his phone. Hiwalani, he whispered under his breath. When first arriving to Lahaina, Hiwalani warmed up quicker than the other natives did. So she was the one he spent most of his time with. With that, everyday spent with her made Douglas realize how wonderful a person Hiwalani was and Douglas cannot deny that his feelings for Hiwalani are real and still continuously remain to grow.

To: Hiwalani
I was wondering when I was going to see you again! I’m already at the beach beautiful, I'm about to go surfing. Get your cute bum over here, food and alcohol sounds good (;

Douglas quickly sent the text and exited his car. Douglas untied the ropes that held down his white surfboard on the top of his Jeep. He wrapped his arms around his board and ran off not wasting another second go by.

Douglas stared off to the horizon as the water touched his toes. There were waves every now and then but Douglas was seeking a big one. Douglas began walking into the water, holding his board at his side. The water was cool, the weather warm so it equalled each other out. When he was deep enough he let go of his board and it floated beside him. He pulled himself on top of the board and laid flat on his stomach. He paddled for a while but stopped to notice that the ocean was rather calm and that the waves had died off. I guess I just have to make the waves than, Douglas thought. Douglas concentrated, his thoughts only towards the oceans ground floor and trying to make it move. After a long second, everything shook. Douglas tried his best not to fall off his board. The water near him rose and Douglas began to paddle towards the rising water, it grew in size. Timing he remembered Roselani telling him once when giving him surfing lessons. Douglas waited, it only got harder to balance on his board but he managed. At that, Douglas sprung himself up on his board, the rising water slowly beginning to turn into a wave. It happened all so quickly, a wall of water stalked behind him and Douglas roared with excitement, he knew he had succeeded. The wave was curling in and Douglas speeded up. He threw his left arm slightly just to skin the water, this right here might have been the best moment. If only Roselani was here to see this for herself, it was incredible, the wave itself was the biggest Douglas had ever ride.

Hiwalani played with her hair until her phone vibrated against her side. A smile crossed her features as she read Doug's text before taking a look down the beach some seeing him hit the water with his board as she grabbed her backpack and things, turning to call out to Kai. β€œI hate to ditch but I've got a date with Doug!” She apologized as she took off down the beach, receiving a number of whistles as her features moved with her, showing off her healthy lifestyle. She neared the other side of the beach soon enough and laid out her towel before heading for some rocks where she ensured her phone was safely sealed in its cover before slipping off her bottoms and shoving it into her backpack. Shouldering her backpack once more, she looked around to ensure none were watching before sliding into the water. She kicked her legs, propelling herself out into deeper water before feeling that familiar vortex around her lower body. Her legs had been replaced by a massive mermaid tail of several shimmering and bright colors that seemed to change with every movement she made.

Long and thick ebony locks floated all around her as she breathed in, taking in the familiar feel and taste of salt water before smiling and propelling herself out towards Doug. She couldn't deny that Doug was one of the main reasons she had chosen to stay home this summer; A lot of the bonds she had with the others weren't as strong as she wished they could be but she always felt Doug was closest to her besides her cousins. Perhaps that perfect summer romance she had been looking for had been right under her nose. She watched as he caught a big wave, grinning happily for him. She ducked her head back under the water and made her way close, thumbs under the straps of her backpack. She longed to dive deeper and return to the surface, breaking the water and vaulting into the air. But people would see - Being as she was now satisfied her enough as she swam underneath Doug's board as the wave died down. A playful and mischievous smile curled on her lips as she quietly grabbed one of his ankles before yanking on it.

As Aidan looked at her, she did that exact same thing. She wasn't about to let this man give her all the criticism and in his words "have to make her presentable" without him doing something as well. That wasn't about to happen. Not with her. And, sure maybe Avery was a nice girl but she was observant as well. She could tell when something didn't make sense and Aidan, being as confident as he seemed and not taking his shirt off every five minutes didn't add up to her. Most attractive boys loved to show off their muscles but for some reason Aidan wasn't one of them.

As he squared his jaw, she tilted her head to the side with a cocked eyebrow showing that she wasn't about to back down to him. "One more condition," She smirked before seeing the smile creep across his tan face. "Since I'm paying, I get to pick the bikini and I want you to model it for me." She could feel her smirk fall off her face. She was about to say something before he pulled her into the surfing store.

"Welcome to Surf's Up! How may I help you today?" The store employee asked the pair. As Aidan spoke to her, Avery just looked at the swimsuits just cursing in her head. "This is not going to end well."
She sighed before looking at Aidan as he continued to speak to the short native girl. "I'm trying to make her sexy because I'm a good person and whatnot. I want you to take her to the dressing rooms and make sure she stays in there while I gather some choices. We have a deal and I want her to stick to it. Do we have an understanding?" She scoffed, not saying a word as the other girl hesitated... That was until Aidan handed her a ten and she was more than willing to hold Avery against her will.

She felt Aidan's hand push her lightly towards the store employee as he winked towards her. "I'll see you on the other side, babe." She gave him a smirk before walking towards the dressing room with her arms across her chest. "Here you are, I'll be back to check on you shortly." The employee, who's name tag said Alex smiled toward Avery before walking away to go and help another girl in the dressing room next to her. Avery rolled her eyes before locking the door to the dressing room and groaning. "This is a nightmare." She told herself with another groan before looking up at the painting on the ceiling. "Oh, maybe if I pay I won't have to do anything. Because there is no way in Hell I'm modeling anything for him." She told herself before checking her bag for her wallet. Then of course she had to remember, how was she going to pay for anything? The only money she had was from her old orphanage who gave it to her once they kicked her out on her 18th birthday. And she wasn't about to spend any of it on a swimsuit she had no intention on ever wearing.

"Darling do you even have to ask?" Rose smirked before shrugging. It was an obvious choice but she knew that later in the day her dad would guilt her into helping, saying that he has no one to help him. Even though the whole town and even a few tourist were helping him set up. Before Rose could add anything or say anything about Laylani's impression before she asked about the cute guy Rose had brought up. "Now about this cute boy..? Speaking of cute how's Kai?" She rolled her eyes with a small smirk on her babydoll face. Her and Kai were close and he was like another brother to her but of course the cousins had their rivalries every once and a while.

Not like Rose's rivalry with her other cousin, Hiwalani. Who didn't even know about the 'rivalry' But, it was there along with the bitterness the red head held for her spoiled and rather popular cousin. "He's fine. Probably with his favorite cousin right now." She said with sarcasm in her voice. "Ok seriously what's up?" Rose shrugged before exhaling deeply. "Nothing, I've been hanging out with this guy named Jackson. Teaching a mainlander how to surf like a native. Other then that? The usual, avoiding any contact with most of my family as possible." It was true, most of the island were probably made up of Kealoha relatives if not half. And they always were close but this might be Rose's last summer on the island before leaving for the states and she didn't need anyone finding out because when one person knew a secret, everyone knew a secret and would try and talk her out of it. "And if you want I will gladly help you set up for the festival." Roselani smiled before thanking God in her head. She wouldn't be setting up alone.

"Oh thank God, I won't be alone." As the pair walked on the beach and Laylani revealed her swimsuit, Rose just smirked at her friend. Still as confident as ever. Which was something that Lani loved about her friend. Not long after their walk on the beach, Rose heard a voice "Well, Teach, I hadn't expected a party this early." She chuckled before looking up at Jackson.

"Hey, Jackson. And, it's not a party. It's more like an excuse so I don't have to help people this early." She raised an eyebrow towards him as he slouched and sent a lazy smile towards the small native. "So, you going to introduce me to your friend here, or do I have to do it myself?" Rose nudged the man before looking towards her friend. "Jackson, this is my friend Laylani. Lani, this is my new friend, Jackson." She told the two before looking towards the water, seeing two people in the water and looking back towards the two tourist that didn't piss her off.

Aidan meandered around the establishment, eyeing the choices with a cryptic look on his chiseled features. He licked his lips as he tried in vain to find something that wouldn't offend Avery, but would show her that she was indeed a beautiful girl that needed to embrace her beauty. Not everyone could be a complete burnout and still remain attractive. She had a gift.

To say that Aidan was confused was an understatement. He wasn't really an expert on female attire. All he knew was that girls looked hot when they were half naked. Simple. However, shopping for them was the equivalent to him giving up partying...it was just impossible. He ran his fingers through his perpetual bed head as he stared dumbly at the plethora of bathing suits.

"Soft colors," a chime like voice rang behind him. He jumped, turning around to see Alex, the store clerk giggling at him. "She would look pretty in soft pastel colors. She has really nice tanned skin that was made for soft tones."

"Wait...you know about this girly shopping crap?" Aidan asked, tilting his head and looking at the employee lamely.

"Yes, sir," she said, deadpan. "I am a girl, after all."

"Oh yeah," he blushed at his temporary stupidity. "Sorry. I didn't mean that I didn't think you were a girl. I mean, it's obvious and you're really pretty," he was rambling, looking the woman up and down before quirking a brow, eyes glinting with interest. "Really, really pretty." He smirked charmingly as he leaned against the rack of sports bras...and like the idiot that he was, Aidan lost his balance and toppled the rack over, falling with it. Alex giggled as he groan in pain before smiling up at her meekly.

"Not my smoothest moment, I'll admit," he mused, shrugging off a sports bra from his shoulder. "But face it, you think I'm adorable."

Alex simple shook her shoulders as she laughed at the goofy grin that adorned his face. "I'll pick out the swimsuits," she said after her laughing fit. "You clean this up, okay?"

"Aye, Captain," Aidan chuckled as he picked himself up. He busied himself with fixing the mess he made, occasionally being a completely child and giggling at the fact that he was touching so many bras. He twirled one around his finger and began dancing like a fool, whistling merrily as he wiggled his hips to an imaginary rhythm.

"Having fun?" Alex chimed from behind him. Aidan jumped again, turning to face her and clutching the bra to his chest as he tried to regulate his heartbeat.

"You seriously need to stop that. If I fall again, I'm blaming you."

"Here are the bikinis I've picked out for her. I'll let you take them to her," Alex handed him the heap of fabric, pushing him gently towards the dressing rooms. "Try not to break anything, Twinkle toes."

"I make no promises," Aidan retorted over his shoulder as he walked to the dressing quarters. "Oh, Avy! I come bearing gifts!" He knocked on her dressing room door, beaming. "I'll let you pick out of these, but I want to see each of them on you because my decision matters most." He outstretched his arms, presenting the clothing. "Enjoy!"
