Sonic The Hedgehog's Story

Sonic smiled as he entered the city after his long adventure. The free blue hedgehog looked up in the sky and spoke "I'm back guys!" he exclaimed as he then dashed through the city. Beginning from a long hill down towards a stairway of a sidewalk where he lept onto the rail grid down it. Sonic then hopped off the rail making his way down an alley way which then revealed a park ahead. Crossing the street with ease, he stopped right infront of a tree then once again looked up into the sky. The sun immediately hit his eyes. The birds chirped in melody, he could hear children playing a little ways away and not much vehicle sounds around. To exclude his surrounding nature seemed to be blooming as well as the gentle breeze that the weather gave off. This made Sonic feel like he should be a little more laidback then usual. He smiled before speaking a little gently.

"Its a nice day!" Sonic said with his hand blocking the rays of the sun from getting into his eyes but then his the corner of his left eye caught something. Beautiful roses, this triggered him to think of Amy at first and then the others. He began to wonder how they were doing and was hoping to see them quite soon. He remembered Tails was studying the Chaos Emeralds before he left. Sonic didn't worry too much about what Amy was doing when he left even though she did however see him off that time. It was obvious to Sonic what Knuckles but speaking of the red echidna... The blue hedgehog layed down against the tree relaxed looking into the sky as he thought of the next adventure he would take only to suddenly realize for a split second a Master emerald piece flew over his head.

"Woah that can't be good!" he said as he lifted his body up and turned his head towards where he believed it went.

"I hope Knuckles is ok..." he thought.




Flash stood upon the bridge of "Radical Highway" looking down at the city. She only smirked from seeing how calm it was. "Dirty..." she thought with a giggle at the end. She wasn't too bothered by people who resided in the city, nor the fact that it was so calm at the moment but in reference to when she said dirty only meant it had to stain of her mother's killer's stinch in the air. Flash shook her head looking down at the rail hopping down and grinding on it til the end where the young fox immediately began to dash through the bridge and up a building side. She continued to hop buildings as she moved along only to spot Sonic who went right below her, grinding down a rail. She payed no mind to follow the blue hedgehog. Both had the same enemies just different methods which brought the thought that if he was to ever get in her way, she'd "delete"(Defeat) him as well. After the pink fox landed on the building she began to walk a little more of distance towards the other side and edge.

"This is the first step and clue I have for her and my revenge but honestly if this is the place, where should I start? I'm surely not going to ask that Hedgehog... no.. thats a last resort. If anything I may just have to wait for the moment he strikes again and when he does... I'll be there" she claimed folding her arms and looking off into the bright sky. "The beginning is now" she thought in her head as she looked down. The pink fox then jumped down grabbing hold of a flag pole swinging down with one hand and her feet. She reached the ground smiling as she then began to walk through Alley ways only to avoid people.

Within the middle of the park, Sonic stood tall as he looked around in place in case anything was out of the normal. He then sighed deciding to run immediately where he believed the emerald piece had landed. He started upon a down hill rail upon the middle of the street. Leaping immediately as the rail ended upon reaching a crossroads. He did stop traffic due to them thinking they would run right into the blue hedgehog but suddenly he dashed while boosting down the east street sliding upon curves. As he slid upon the curves, Sonic had to hop quickly among cars and such coming along the way which he was use to. It was during this time that Sonic thought outloud during this run.

"I bet eggman is behind this.." His tone annoyed but truly believable as he dashed straight.

Sonic came upon a loop where he boosted himself to make sure he made it through without falling and upon the ending flew quite a ways to where he spotted the piece of the master emerald resting on top of a small building in which he landed. He slowly walked towards it and picked it up gently.

"Heh - man Knucklehead, You sure put me through a lot of running to find such a small piece" Sonic laughed as he turned around noticing he was in the residential area. the blue hedgehog smiled knowing that he should probably immediately rush back towards the city and seek out Knuckles. If an explosion sent the emeralds flying this far, there was no telling where the red echidna could have landed. Thus made Sonic immediately hop off and run towards the city once more. He figured a different route wouldn't hurt seeing he may have caused a little bit of trouble behind him.



As Flash noticed the green emerald's shard fly over the two buildings she was between she paused. It was nothing she has ever seen before and she wished to have followed it but seeing that it disappeared from her sight so quickly she shook off the idea. Her mind was rather calm for now even though it was only to the fact that Eggman has not shown himself. After walking out of the alley she found herself in an industrial field. She only had the thought that there was an industrial plant being built. She noticed the barrels that said "G.U.N." She shook her head with a smirk. "This may be fun.. she thought. The pink fox felt bored before coming here but just then she suddenly felt like a good run would do her well.

The pink fox looked up and noticed before running that a emerald landed upon the top of the beams of the building's structure. She smiled and then began running first starting on the lower section where a small metal pipe which she grabbed with one hand flinging herself to the second level. There she ran straight on one side of the construction site hopping to the next as she then jumped upon a crane which was actively in motion raising her up to the very top level as she held on. Truthfully Flash wasn't too well with heigths but she was curious of this stone. As Flash finally made it only 10 feet from the emerald she jumped immediately trying to reach the edge however....she failed it. Suddenly seeing herself fall at massive speed she grasped the emerald within her hand suddenly blinking in a flash to the Master Emerald's piece. grabbing it and using "Chaos Control" once more as she lunged herself off the beam soaring through the air. She landed upon the building where the red echidna layed after sighing. She didn't notice him right behind her because she landed facing the construction site but she sighed holding it up in the air examining it as she slid the chaos emerald into her pocket.

Blaze ran through the city, not necessarily at full speed but close to it, looking for anyone she would know. Instead she saw cars, people, and more cars. Her and… Silver ,is his name she thinks, used to see these cars torn, rusty, and completely wrecked. Seeing them now sent a shiver down her spine as she had seen how powerful they were when Silver threw… Wait, threw? Blaze thought about this for a second before shaking it all away.

Deciding to stay out of the humans way, for she had seen know one like her, Blaze quickly dashed into an ally way. The lavender cat hid in the shadows until she had heard a loud Thump behind her. She turned on her heels and immediately scanned her surrounding area before she had realized it had come from the top of the building. Turning her head up so that her eyes can register how tall the building actually was, Blaze immediately took notice that it was a very tall building, and hearing a thump like that from all the way down here must be that what ever it was had made that sound must had fallen a great height. She analyzed this a second, pondering whether or not to go up there and see if what ever it was, was alright.

Blaze sighed deeply before she jumped from wall to wall making her way up to the roof until she got close to the edge and grabbing a brick poking out of the wall and resting her feet on the ledge. The reason why she stopped is because Blaze could here the sound of a voice and the feet of a person who had landed on the building. Now thinking the victim of this fall had already gotten help, she sighs out of relief and annoyance, for she thought that this was one of the humans doings, and jumped onto the roof of the other building soon darting off and jumping over the side of the building, that was quite shorter than the one she had heard the sound emanate from, and landing on a garbage bin before making her way off and into the shadows once more, hoping that the people on the roof didn’t see her.

Flash was amazed by the green fragrence of the gem's fragment. She was observing it carefully. She knew just by it's shape it was chipped off something. Especially seeing no ordinary stone would have just been upon a construction site. Her red eyes continued examining it as she rose the chipped gem into the air where the sun hit it. Her smile expanded until a voice spoke suddenly and rather demanding. It startled her to where she almost dropped the piece luckily hitting it back to her hand with her tail.

"Is that you Tails, wait, no, you're too girly to be Tails just who are you?"

She turned around looking towards Knuckles with a grin as she tossed the emerald slightly up into the air only to catch it repetively.
"Tails? Heh, I think i remembered that unusual fox with two tails right? Hehe. I'm Flash kiddo, Its funny..." She appeared to get off track looking to the emerald forgetting to ask Knuckles his name. "This gem gave me the grin that i obtained when i grasped this other emerald . . . " She said smiling as her right hand passed the left the Master Emerald chip. The pink fox then grabbed the chaos emerald out looking down upon it.

"Strange power imminates from both of them... except for some reason i feel this green one is incomplete" She looked at Knuckles as he spoke again.

"I want some answers fast since I just got knocked off my island by someone and lost something precious to me."

Flash blinked only naturally amazed about the endurance and stamina the echidna has from being knocked off a island in the sky.

"Wow .. Thats quite a fall -- I'll tell you what. You can get some answers if you catch me!" She smiled turning around and walk backwards towards the edge letting herself fall. She was afraid of heigths, that is true but the power of the chaos emerald was used once more allowing her to rush away into another alley hoping Knuckles would follow her like as if it were a game of tag. Truth be told Flash had no idea what he wanted to ask but it didn't matter to her too much.



It appeared as sonic was running suddenly Flash and him passed by each other. Only to see her wink by him. He stopped himself sliding immediately as he looked back to see who it was. He scratched his head seeing the fox disappeared shortly after. He payed no mind running after her, seeing that he had something for his friend. Sonic immediately rushed onto a building boosting himself so he could run up the side with ease. He stopped looking around to see if he would spot Knuckles which came to be a success.. three buildings down. Sonic darted over the first only to go upon a rail that lead him to the building Knuckles was on.

Sonic then walked over. "Heya Knuckles! I'm glad you weren't too hard to catch, I got somethin for ya"
Sonic smiled holding his piece of the master emerald chip to him. The blue hedgehog then began to speak with a chuckle in his voice. He looked around to see if any more flew by but he saw nothing in sight.

"You know, you put me through a lot getting this emerald piece, what happend on Angel Island?"
Even though there was a jest in his voice, Sonic really was curious as to what was going on another question that was brought up was who was the pink fox who passed him. He had a idea at first it could've been Amy but he shook it off, especially seeing how fast she was going and it came from this direction. So Knuckle's had to have seen it.

"Hey pal, I was curious did you happen to see that pink fox?" he spoke not knowing if Knuckles answered his first question. There was a lot going on in one day more then what he ever expected to happen when he returned. He shook his head trying to get what was going on hoping Knuckles would answer it. He then reached Knuckles finally handing over the piece he obtained.

Both of them paused for a moment, and made a beeping sound. They could sense another Chaos Emerald, closer, moving faster, running through streets. It was very hard to track Chaos Emeralds somehow, because many other smaller similar specks of energy seemed to be scattered in a couple areas around the city, and more were beyond it. Of course, they could tell the difference between a Chaos Emerald and whatever this other speck was. This one was closer, so they decided to approach it instead. They darted back in the other dirrection. In a couple seconds later, they could tell it was Purple.



An alert appeared on Dr. Eggman's screen. "Well, well, well," he said, walking to the control panel, "Seems my new trinkets have found a chaos emerald." He pressed a button, and a map of Central City appeared, and it showed the positions of two chaos emeralds. He grinned and put his hands together. "Aren't I in for a treat," he said aloud, "Two emeralds, in the same area," Eggman noticed that both were moving, and one was moving quite fast. Thinking it is Sonic, he said aloud, "Well, seems my pesky blue rivals got one," He then pressed a button veiwing the two robots. "Get the emerald closer to you that is moving faster, and do whatever it takes to get it from that hedgehog! Once you've retrieved the emerald, get into a safe position, and I will retrieve from you there, then you can carry out in getting the next one!" he ordered. The robots nodded, for the orders were relayed in their heads. Eggman turned off the screen, and headed for his newest machine. "Egg Hornet Mark II, go!" he shouted. The flight doors openned and the machine started up, and slowly hovered into the air, untill it finally was above island and started flying toward Central City.

Knuckles gawked as he watched Flash disappear over the edge of the building. Suddenly Sonic came up to him and said, ""Heya Knuckles! I'm glad you weren't too hard to catch, I got somethin for ya," before placing a shard of the Master Emerald into his hand.

Knuckles looked into Sonic's eyes and growled, showing his irritant manner, "Thanks for getting me the Master Emerald Shard back, but if I knew what had happened to Angel Island I wouldn't be standing here now would I? The only thing I can remember about Angel Island is getting hit by a lightening bolt and losing the Master Emerald. That pink fox you're looking for though just took off from here. She said her name was Flash I think, so if you put two and two together she can probably use lightening bolts." Knuckles relaxed and put his free hand on Sonic's shoulder.

Grippingly it tightly he said, "Go catch that fox, get the Master Emerald shard back, and don't trip. I think she's using a Chaos Emerald so just out run her like you do everyone else. I'm going to stick around and make sure you didn't miss anything." Knuckles let go of Sonic's shoulder and turned away from Sonic before running the in direction Sonic had come from. When he reached the edge of the roof he jumped, caught a small gust of wind, and glided to the next to the one he was previously on. He landed on this building in a crouching position before turning around to look at Sonic once more. "I know we're not always friendly with each other, but get me this piece of Master Emerald and you can have all the chili dogs I can afford." Knuckles smirked at Sonic and gave him a thumbs up to seal the deal. He then ran to the edge of this second building, jumping off the concrete ledge, and landed on a blue and white tarp before bouncing onto the street below. When he got to the bottom finally he looked around and thought, "Central City hasn't changed much since I've last been here, but at least its not a flood plane."





Luna smiled as the taxi cab stopped in front of Amy's apartment complex. She slid of the roof of the taxi cab and walked around to the driver's side. She peered into the cab to and found the guy was a definite Sonic fan based on the giant plush Sonic doll in the back seat. Luna dug hear hand through the pockets of her cargo pants and pulled out a red yarn ball shaped wallet. She unzipped the top and dug through it until she'd counted out the change for the taxi driver. Handing over a large amount of small coins to him she said, "I know I said I'd pay you, but I'm not sure I have enough."

"This is fine," the taxi driver replied as he took the money from her hand. "Any friend of Sonic's is a friend of mine. You do realize you're in front of Amy Rose's home right?"

Luna turned her head to look at the apartment and said, "Oh, I am?" She realized she didn't know as much about Sonic the Hedgehog or his friends as she thought she did.

Luna shrugged and said, "Thanks for the notice, I know at the very least that Sonic might like Amy so I hope I don't make Amy mad while I wait for Sonic."

"I'm sure you'll do fine kid," the taxi cab driver said before pulling a cap he was wearing down over his brow. He smiled, put his foot on the pedal and rode off. Luna then turned around and looked at the large, intimidating building in front of her and whispered, "Here goes nothing..." She walked to the front door and knocked on it. Then she rang he door bell she found for extra measure. While she waited she rested her hands behind her back and twiddled her thumbs, trying to hide her nervousness. She knew from excerpts in the news that Amy had a rather nasty temper and because of this that is why Sonic could not confess his love to Amy. Truthfully though, she'd gotten this information backwards. Amy liked Sonic, but Sonic was often too shy to interact with Amy in the way she wanted to with him.

Central City

As Amy ran to get to the spot she could've sworn she saw Sonic in; her mind began to get filled with questions. Could her eyes be playing tricks on her? Could it be that he HAS returned? Could it have been a "look-a-like? For Sonic does tend to have lots of admirers and some whom are creepy and like to dress up and pretend they are Sonic. Amy frowed her eyebrows as she thought of that, for she hated when admirers did that. Especially, due to the fact that she would feel ridiculous when she was left in a dazed state; after mistaking one of them for the real Sonic. She squinted her eyes and shook her head in annoyance as she continued to run. She swerved and stopped at the place she thought she saw him and she looked up, then smiled as she got an idea! She sneakingly entered the building and ran to the emergency staircase and dashed up the stairs. She was able to skip the stairs as she increased her speed as she ran up the stairs. She laughed as she did so, for her heart began to fill full again as she got excited that she might find her beloved Sonic atop. She jetted towards the door exiting to the rooftop and slammed it open with a turbo front snap kick as she jump up and landed on her feet on the rooftop. Her eyes twinkled as she looked up and she paused as she heard another voice. She soon recognized it was Knuckles! but as she came around the corner they were both gone! She frowed her eyebrows and then her eyes widened and sparkled as she saw Sonic gliding down another building and her mouth formed into a wide smile. He looked just has handsome as she remembered! Then, suddenly her smile faded as she saw him running after a pink hedgehog, no it was a Fox. "A FOX!!!" she exclaimed. She felt jealous and angry. For she wasn't going to let any old Fox come and snatch him from her!!! She spun in a sudden swirl and squeeled and jumped up as she summoned a hammer out of the cloud that formed around her. "Grrrr" she said as she ran towards the edge and jumped down the side and smoothly landed on a top of a metal patio. She continued to jump down each one as fast as she could and then sprinted in the direction they went. Then she stopped as she remembered Cream, she still didn't find her. Then she continued to run again, hammer still in hand. Maybe Sonic could help her....after she beat that fox!





Sparx dashed between trees and quickly hid behind them as soon as she continued her search for the shadowy figure she thought she saw. She wasn't going to give up so easily. She ran and made her way behind a bush. Suddenly she saw it! it was facing the opposite direction and looked like it was deep in thought. Sparx studied it closely. It looked like it was a hedgehog and the only hedgehogs she knew and heard of were Sonic and Amy. By the looks of his shape and size there was no way he could be either one, and besides this one was black. Sonic was blue and Amy was pink. She had never met Sonic, but she felt like she knew him as Amy talked of him ALL the time at their boxercising practices. She was tempted to go and approach this guy,..well at least she thought he was a guy. She giggled to herself at the thought of her approaching him and finding out he was a girl! Then, suddenly her eyes blinked and affixed in the spot he WAS at, for it was as if he jumped off the edge of the forest and into the city! She ran out of the bush and headed in the direction of the spot he had JUST been standing in. How could he or she have decided to do something so fast? For they were just here and seemed as if they were deep in thought, hmm. She held her hands to her abdomen as she had a bad feeling about this. She decided that she must tell Amy about this. For maybe this was something Sonic may want to know and investigate. Her eyes glistened as she thought to herself. She began to hope that maybe, just maybe, she could join them and investigate what it was she saw. She made it back to the street and put on her skates and skated back towards the direction of Amy Rose's apartment. She braked as she made it there, and she slowed down as she noticed another waiting outside the door of Amy and Cream's apartment. It looked like it was another Feline, thought she had never met this Feline before. She aproached it and greeted the Feline "Hello, I'm Sparx, I'm a friend of Amy Rose are you a friend of Amy Rose as well? Or perhaps Cream?"

Seemingly through the day Sonic had raced Flash to the highway. They dashed through the area and night traffic. It finally occured to both of them that Night was hitting them. Sonic looked to the sky, panting then looked over to Flash with his hands on his knees as he attempted to catch his breath. Flash didn't necessarily do the same but did fall onto one knee to relax. The two looked at each other. Seeing that they both stopped Sonic was ready for anything especially seeing that Flash had the Chaos Emerald. Sadly what the two didn't know was partially the trouble that was caused by this race. There was indeed at least one explosion and time that had occured inside a building. Sonic wasn't exactly planning to go through building had Flash not have lead him through it and there was no way he could stop persuing her. Although it was fun for both of them this caused G.U.N to act and immediately send the truck out to seek them.

"I'm not giving up. . . you know?" Flash spoke exhaustingling with a grin.

"Heh, thats the spirit, Not even Shadow gave me a race this long but thats probably only because he wanted me out of the way for his own things and time" Sonic said lifting himself up and looking towards her. Flash shook her head and looked at him. She didn't know the other hedgehog's name until now seeing that Shadow was the one who broke into the government facilities and aided Dr.Eggman. It came to mind that there is a possibility if she were to find him. He could lead her to where Eggman may be. The pink fox smirked to the idea loving how this race was useful after all. She honestly felt her progress wasn't going forward from the race til now due to the fact that Sonic's mind set was fixated on only getting the emerald back for Knuckles.

"You mean your black and red look alike..? Heh I wonder where might one find him" Flash stood up, her eyes examined over him as she noticed G.U.N's death truck came around. Sonic and Flash turned around noticing the heavy deadly truck with weapons among it approaching fast. Sonic shook his head as he backed up.

"This - can't be happening again... what is it this time?!" He said looking over to Flash whom immediately ran to the edge noticing water below it. Sonic looked over to the pink fox who immediately dashed to the edge as she spoke to him. She turned her body towards Sonic midair winking after speaking to him.

"I have no intentions of being chased down by a G.U.N unit. Sonic you really gave me some good info - Til next time and I'll be keeping this other gem too - Chaos Control!" Flash immediately disappeared only to get out of Sonic and the truck's sight. She really only managed to get upon one of the pipes of the highway looking down and smirking as the truck chased Sonic.

Sonic himself boosted himself towards the city managing to get around the truck only for it to turn around as well. The blue hedgehog dashed through station square only to make it to a hill where he was once again chased down. Flash sighed slipping down to the ground after all seemed clear. She shook her head and sat down on the edge catching her breath and resting.

"So... I managed to get a little information but that doesn't help too much seeing i will have to find this "Shadow". Given of course he is alive and available.."
