FULL NAME
      Athena Wren Usagi.

NICKNAME(S)
Usa || Not many call her this, it's a term of endearment the teachers will sometimes use to address her.

The Rabbit Goddess | A joke playing off of her last name, this is mainly a tease.

GENDER
      Female

AGE
      15

SEXUALITY
Straight as far as she can tell.

NATIONALITY
50% English 50% Scottish, she isn't sure how she ended up with a Japanese last name.

"Fear is like fire, if you can control it, it can cook for you; it can heat your house. If you can't control it, it will burn everything around you and destroy you. Fear is your best friend, or your worst enemy."

HEIGHT
5'1, Athena is ridiculously short for a girl her age. She hopes to grow at least two more inches, but knows that this isn't realistic.

WEIGHT
      100 Ibs.

HAIR COLOR
Athena's hair is an unusual lavenous lavender that has layers of darker and highlights of lighter purple. It is short, only going just past her shoulders with bangs across her forehead. She normally keeps it in a neat braided crown, but occasionally hair will fall out and frame her face.

EYE COLOR
A deep orange red that are often compared to the flames of fire. Her eyes have a certain intensity that seems to keep her beasts in line.

SKIN TONE
Her pallor is fair, with a slightly milky complexion. She is of British descent so it is not unusual to see Athena rubbing on an extra layer of sunscreen.

GENERAL APPEARANCE
Normal was never in Athena's vocabulary; with piercing red eyes that seem to scare others into never making eye contact and purple hair that is anything but natural, Athena is an extraordinary work of another world. Her skin is fair, almost a milky color, which only pronounces her other features even more. Her cheeks nearly always have a slight pink color to them and her lips are a cherry red. Athena's limbs are long and slender, made for speed and action which is good because the girl is nearly always on the move. Athena has always had a hard time sitting still, although she never would have imagined that it could have helped her like this.
Her teeth are sharp, almost unusually so which is why Athena smiles with her mouth closed. It is very hard to actually make Athena angry, but should she finally snap a pink tattoo will appear on half of her face. If you see this, run.
As far as clothing goes, Athena likes to dress up a bit. She enjoys looking her best especially if she can use it to her advantage. Athena does not mind the school uniform, although she certainly doesn't like it and she has been known to dress it up as much as she can without getting yelled at for breaking dress code.

"Twenty million years and humans are still critically flawed."

PERSONALITY
      ✦ Smart ✧ Loyal ✦ Snappy ✧ Cunning ✦

Athena unfortunately has quite a reputation surrounding her. She has large shoes to fill thanks to her know-it-all older sister who graduated with a pristine record and moved on to become a famous Exorcist. Now living in her shadow, Athena constantly feels as though she will never be able to cast her own. So she makes trouble, trying to become someone else, someone no one expected and puts on a persona that is nearly always smiling and happy, even if she is in terrible pain and has suffered unimaginable loss. Athena is like a fire, if you befriend her you will have a friend who is loyal to a fault and is willing to do nearly anything for you. She has trouble befriending people though so the few real friends she does have, Athena is willing to jump in front of a train for. If you antagonize her you will find that you have just made yourself a terrible enemy. It is not good to go to war with a girl who can summon beasts, especially if she knows that you happen to be on the Exorcist circuit, she will not be afraid to let those demons loose on you.

While Athena can take a joke, she hates being on the receiving end of them, which happens a lot with the girls in her class. In True Cross Academy, the other females have nearly all but isolated her and often come after the girl during lunch. It does not matter how many witty replies or blatantly mean come backs Athena makes, they continue to stir up trouble and have become increasingly worse. Athena does not tell anyone though because she does not want to be seen as weak and so she has bared the brunt of it, but slowly Athena can feel her facade cracking and knows that one of these days they will get to her and she will no longer hold back.

ImageImageLIKES
Sleep - Athena never seems to get enough of it and is nearly always tired.
Her Beasts - Despite the fact that others are afraid of the demons, Athena treats them like beloved pets and will sometimes summon them when she's feeling lonely.
Salty Things - Unlike most girls who have a taste for sweets, Athena craves salt. She has to keep a certain balanced in her mouth so you'll never see Athena just eating sweet, it has to be balanced like dipping pretzels in ice cream.
Climbing - Athena has a love for being up high and getting the best view. Many have compared her to a monkey or a bird, flitting through the trees and standing on the most frail of branches with ease.
The Night Time - Athena has always felt the most comfortable in the dark, she does not understand those who fear rather than embrace it.

ImageImageDISLIKES
Morning - It means that the night is over and she can no longer sleep.
Shadows - Living in her brother's shadow is hard, it means that she's constantly being ridiculed for being nothing like him when all Athena wants is to be recognized as an individual.
Snakes - Athena has always hated snakes, they just seem creepy with their slimy bellies and hissing tongues.
Liars - Athena hates it when people lie to her, to Athena lying is the worst thing you can do even if you did it to spare her feelings.
Secrets - Being kept in the dark is never fun, especially if it is something of importance that concerns you.

TALENTS
Summoning - Athena always knew she was going to be a Tamer, her Mother was a Tamer, her Sister was a Tamer, there was never really any other choice. However, unlike the previous women in her family, Athena has a way with the demons. She seems to share a bond with them that no other Exorcist could claim to have. Athena sees the demons like her sort-of children and hates to see them get hurt.
Come Backs - Known for her sharp wit and quick quips, you may want to treat those burns.
Scythe - It may be old fashioned, but Athena knows she can never trust anyone or anything, not even herself, which is why she keeps a back up weapon that she has been training with since her youth. While it may first appear to be a key, or something of sort hanging around her neck, upon closer inspection you will realize that Athena always has her weapon right over her heart.
Climbing - It is not an unusual sight to see Athena studying in a tree or hanging out in the branches of her favorite fir, her Mother used to compare Athena to a monkey and was almost always yelling at her daughter to get her out of the clouds-or rather-branches.

FLAWS
Confidence - Athena is not confident in herself or her abilities. The only reason the demons have not turned on her is because she knows how to take control and turn a previously bad situation into a slightly better one. It is her body image that Athena is not confident, or comfortable with.
Liar - She hates having to do it, but Athena keeps many secrets for both her's and her family's protection.
Eyes - This is more of a physical flaw than anything, but Athena's eyes tend to scare people off, which is one of the reasons she has such a hard time making friends.
Love - Athena cannot love anyone, she doesn't know why, but she has never been able to feel love.

FEARS
Humans - Or rather humanity as a whole, they are self destructive, selfish, and greedy. Athena has seen what humans can do at full potential and what they do when they believe a situation is hopeless. It is rather scary to see the potential humanity has, to either build or self destruct.
Failure - Athena's family and teachers have such high expectations for her. Her sister has cast a near permanent shadow that Athena can never seem to step out of. She does not want to disappoint those who expecting the best of her, but Athena can't help but feel that she is not meeting their expectations.
Being Alone - There is a difference between being alone up in a tree on the school grounds and being isolated in a dark room with no outside contact. It is the latter that Athena fears. She doesn't mind being left at home on the occasion, knowing that her family will be back and that she is safe, and being alone because you've been kidnapped by a crazy activist group that believes they are fighting for demons.

"I became stronger to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves."

FAMILY

BIO
It was a long time ago that Athena's mother, Emily, was found on the side of the road in England and taken in by a human family. She was raised to hate demons with a fierce passion and so finding out that she was one was quite a shock, to say the least. Emily quit her job as an Exorcist and moved to the Scottish countryside, believing that she was alone and trying to find out more about her past and heritage. Before this Emily was in shock and denial, she tried to rid her body of the demon by way of ritual but no right of passage could separate her from the supposed beast. Nearly two hundred years later, Emily met a man named Amon in a tavern just outside of town. She would not see Amon again for another hundred years, but recognized him instantly. It turns out, Amon was a demon as well and taught Emily everything she needed to know, from why the demons hated humans to how the war begun.

Somehow, during her lessons on how to embrace her heritage, Emily fell in love with Amon. The two married and waited what seemed a century before having their first child, Wren. Wren was a prodigy, she could paint, sing, summon, and defeat all in one sitting. Her parents were so proud and so full of joy that they decided to try for a second child. It took a while, but finally they had Athena. Unfortunately, Athena turned out to be nothing like her sister. Unlike the quiet and polite child, they received a restless little demon who had gotten into the habit of biting anyone's fingers that were too close to her mouth and climbing anything that was stable enough. It was Amon's decision to put a weapon into the little beasts hands and see where this would lead. Her Father drilled discipline into her, he was patient and kind. Then one day, he just disappeared.

It was their Mother who was gone next and the Exorcists showed up at their house. It was only Athena at home, Wren was at school. The child was easily overpowered and they made Wren a simple trade, her life for her sister's. Athena screamed and cried, she told her not to do it, but Wren had a better idea. She offered them both of their lives, to train to become Exorcists. They would cooperate and in exchange, all the Exorcists had to do was help them find their parents.

True Cross is no longer as safe as it once was before. After the incidents of demons cutting loose and attacking students and teachers, security has been strengthened, yet daily classes still go on. Not too much has changed except for the slightly altered subjects and number of fully-fledged exorcists who watch each and every student with absolute caution. Anyone of them could be a demon in disguise, whether they be good or bad. It's not a situation where anyone can let their guards down. Even the teachers are being suspected. Teams have been created to ensure safety and to superiors can watch over students and observe them. Each team is separated into a different activity for the day to put their exorcist skills to the test, even though they just might not realize it just yet...

“Rise and shine, girls!”

Dores made rounds across all the dorms of her team, knocking on their doors and impersonating an impromptu alarm clock. Earlier that morning, the entire team had been called in for a new class by a mysterious new teacher, for an unspecified class to take place on the True Cross Academy's ghost town, AKA floor 2B. That smelled like trouble, Dores just knew it. With the recent lock-down, disappearances and demonic infiltrations, the knight figured she hardly was the only one to come to that conclusion. The truth was, it wasn't so early anymore she would expect to catch her team sleeping (except maybe for Karin, who could be a little more flexible with time). Rather, Dores wanted the team gathered together, so none of them would be end up going alone to the upcoming suspicious class.

“We wouldn't want to leave a bad impression on the new teacher, would we?”

Dores was indeed early, though not as early as some other eager students. She had spotted a few other classmates that had been on the list walking through the hallways already. She wondered if they shared her suspicions as well as her schedule. Dores at least, had prepared a twosome talismans for her own protection. 邊境 (border) was there so she could create a barrier wherever she put down her purse. 揭示 (reveal) was one she carried with her regularly these days, which alerted her if a demon came in very close proximity of the script. Or rather that was what it should do. This character was still new to Dores and she was far from having mastered it, even low level demons had a chance not to set it off. Still, it was always better to try and be prepared. Dores had been practicing on getting it right, but there was only one way to test her progress.

“Wakey, wakey!”

Dɪᴀʟᴏɢᴜᴇ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✦ #CC99CC || Tʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛ Cᴏʟᴏʀ ✧ #8E388E

Athena was among the branches of a rather large oak tree right outside the window of her dorm room. The window was wide open, the lock having been picked and replaced a thousand times. Athena's morning classes were cancelled since the teacher had been attacked by a demon late last night and they hadn't been able to find a replacement. The whole school seemed to be on high alert, Wren had heard and cared enough to actually call and tell Athena to stay safe, but despite her big sister's warnings, Athena couldn't sit still. She was itching to get in one some action, even if it meant slaying her own kind. Athena had never really felt especially connected to other demon's before, sure it was her Father's pride, but she had been raised human. The only demonic trait Athena ever seemed to show was her desire for carnage and seventy five percent of the time Athena managed to repress this.

A sigh escaped her lips as she thought over this month's schooling. Athena had been in gym, doing the normal once a year fitness test when one of the few girls who had made it their life's mission to torment Athena came over and actually apologized. Athena wasn't sure where this strange behavior had stemmed from and so she simply let bygones be bygones and accepted the apology, wondering if this strange stretch of peace would last long. It was only a few days later that the demons attacked the school. She hadn't heard or seen them, rather Athena had been able to feel their sudden presence, but she had not been allowed to do anything. All Athena could do was watch as the older Exorcists fought.

Athena shook her head, no use dwelling on it now. She stood from the branch and hopped once or twice, testing its durability before climbing inside and closing, then re-locking her window. She only locked it for safety reasons, or maybe paranoia. Athena lived a very private life and uninvited eyes rifling around her belongings were the last thing she needed. It was then that a knock came, the familiar call of Dores's voice floating in through the keyhole causing Athena's rigid posture to relax. She had nearly forgotten about the mission!

Quickly Athena grabbed a few summoning circles she had drawn onto paper and flung open the door, fumbling with the key in the lock and dropping it in her pocket. They were to go to the mysterious ghost floor, where three of the seven of True Cross Academy's wonders took place. Normally Athena did not believe in ghost stories, having encountered quite a few undeparted souls she knew that most of them were simply pitiful humans who were holding on to a thread of hope. The last ghost Athena was allowed to exorcise had tugged at her heartstrings, a child who had left this world far too early. He was haunting the creek that had staged his drowning, behind his parents summer cottage not far from the school.

Why was she thinking of that now? Athena had to focus. She needed to focus on teamwork and playing well with others, which was something Athena happened to be dreadful at.

Her feet knew the way despite the fact that she had never so much as stepped foot on that floor. Athena was behind Dores, who had no doubt said something witty that she just missed. "I hope I'm not too late to join in on the fun," Athena said and bit her thumb, running the bloodied finger across the paper in her hands. "It's playtime," Athena uttered and in a puff of smoke, two beautiful coyote wearing masks appeared.

The sunlight was already seeping through the painted windows of the room, pools of coloured light dancing on the ground, though the figure on the bed as completely oblivious to it all. The girl was on her stomach, eyes shut, though she wasn't sleeping. A book was opened in front of her with its well worn cover just barely showing the golden words. It's pages were filled with notes and scribbles, arrows pointing to extra pointers, words highlighted and double underlined in bold. One can tell at one glance that its owner had read it again and again multiple times, alongside doing more research on her own. It looked battered, and one part of the cover was charred beyond recognition. Yet, the girl had never minded.

"Remove any obvious dirt or debris from the wound. Don't remove large or deeply embedded objects. Don't probe the wound or attempt to clean it yet. Your first job is to stop the bleeding. Wear disposable protective gloves if available. Place a sterile bandage or clean cloth on the wound. Press the bandage firmly with your palm to control bleeding. Maintain pressure by binding the wound tightly with a bandage or a piece of clean cloth. Secure with adhesive tape. Use your hands if nothing else is available. Raise the injured part above the level of the heart. In terms of blood loss, let the patient lie down immediately to prevent loss of body heat. If possible, elevate the legs. A tourniquet is effective in controlling life-threatening bleeding from a limb. When emergency services arrive, tell them how long the tourniquet has-."

“Rise and shine, girls!”

Atsuko opened her eyes, stopping her recital mid- sentence. Her brown orbs were still widened in shock, though the expression quickly faded into a knowing smile. Dores was on her rounds, she could recognise the energetic voice anywhere. It must have been something to do with the mission, and it was time to get up and get going. The mission sounded a little dangerous to her, but the teachers will never hurt them on purpose. That was a fact, she believed, a little too blindly perhaps, but strongly nonetheless. There was just a few things she needed to do...

Atsuko picked up a dish of seeds and threw open the window, setting it gently on the ledge with a clatter before putting two fingers into her mouth. A small tune escaped her lips, answered by a chorus of chirps. It had become her habit to feed the little birds that come by every now and then, until it had almost become a daily routine. She still worries about the day she has to move. What will those little critters do if they couldn't find her? Still, she'll worry about it when she gets back. Slender fingers leafed through the thick medical journal one last time before snapping it shut and tucking it into her satchel, squeezed alongside the first aid kit. She picked up a few summoning circles as well, just in case. She doesn't plan to use them, but you can never be too safe.

She opened her door to find that Athena had already joined, frowning a little as she saw the coyotes. They didn't need them this early, but it never hurts to get a companion. Her hands moved up to withdraw a pin, piercing through the skin of her finger to drop the Crimson liquid on the circle. "Come and see." Her voice was soft, and one could not catch it without straining their ears. It was the rare instance she spoke, that reminded others that she wasn't completely mute.

It was a mountain cat that appeared, leaping out of the plumes of smoke to rest itself on Atsuko's shoulders, curling itself around her neck. It's fur contrasted sharply with the bright red of her scarf, but neither of them seemed to mind. She then turned to the two and gave them an apologetic smile, bowing her head in greeting.

She woke me up.’

Her first thought of the day. Nothing important, special or retaining any particular interest to it… and yet the all too familiar knock on her door by a certain Knight was just enough to get her mind into gear at that moment. It wasn’t as if she were asleep anyway. However though merely just resting her eyes the possibility of returning to her prior slumber some hours ago was tempting, even for Botan, who was otherwise up and about so to speak. Rolling over and onto her side before sliding off the bed slowly, her feet plopped down against the hard floor with a barely audible ’click’ to the end of her heels. Bending her knees ever so slightly, she took a handful of seconds to brush her dress down and fiddle with the edges, before quickly straightening back and into an upright position.

”Um… coming,” She sighed quietly before turning on her foot and retreated to another area of her room, the wardrobe expectedly, as she dug inside and brought out a red shawl before pulling it over her shoulders and tying it securely. ”Anything else?” The girl asked herself in a hushed voice, before allowing a minor pause to linger briefly before offering a single, ”No.”

Patting her sides down she then felt around in one of her pockets, feeling the ripped edges of last night’s notes that she had been jotting down from some scripture or another, she guessed. It was a common occurrence nowadays to find scribbled things here and there in notebooks and random pieces of paper, at least in her room, and on her person. If it was a particular new passage of holy writ then Botan always found it beneficial to take notes, even if she could remember the writing near perfectly, through copying passages was her method to learn and so she would continue to do it regardless.

Just then she remembered something and turned to one of her sides, as the girl reached over and grabbed a small bag to go over her shoulder that lay on top of her drawers. It was only small mind you, but for all that she carried it wasn’t like Botan needed a bag that was nearly the size of her! Nevertheless, inside it you would only find small, or rather mini-sized books, containing specially selected passages with highlighted parts from various multicoloured markers. That, and a few crossword books for the sake of relieving any boredom she, perhaps, may find herself suffering from despite how unlikely it seemed. A few other bits and pieces were tucked away but they were hardly worth a mention.

Finally when exiting the room and closing the door behind her, giving it a few tugs to ensure it was properly closed, the girl then looked about before seeing a group of familiar faces stood together not too far away. However, instead of calling to them and announcing her arrival, Botan just opted to walk over to the trio, bordering on creeping up behind them, as she then popped up beside the other girls.

”Hello all,” She greeted with her usual politeness, although not as enthusiastic as some would expect, she did at least force something of a smile and dip of her head to acknowledge them, the ones known as her friends and team. ”Uh,” She noticed Athena’s bloodied finger first, which was hardly surprising since her teammate had evidently summoned her two coyotes. But then there was Atsuko and her stained finger, and despite the small feline resting on top of her shoulders, the only thing Botan could focus her mind on was the bits of blood around her.

Digging into the small bag that hung down past her waist, Botan then took out a small tissue and placed it in front of her mouth. It was no secret that she wasn’t a big fan of blood, regardless of how much or little she came to witness, but for the most part at least she wouldn’t be sick over it just yet if she could help it, at least.

”Mission... we have?” She could’ve worded the question better, but given the small unsettledness that lingered in her gut just then, not to mention the fact her voice was muffled anyway by the tissue, fewer words was always better and more expected from Botan, anyway.

Without a word Karin shot straight up in bed. Her hair stuck up slightly in some places but her expression was tired. She blinked her silver eyes a couple of times, staring blankly at the wall. Karin snapped out of her trance like state when she heard Dores from outside her dorm room. It reminded Karin of why she woke up in the first place, there was light outside but the only way she could tell it was morning was because her stomach was growing and the digital clock that stood on her nightstand of course.

Looking around her room Karin found that it was rather messy but she shrugged her shoulders, dismissing the fact that it was messy Karin pushed herself out of bed, brushed her teeth and got dressed. It took a bit before her energy was up and running but after she ate her energy had completely returned. The Dragoon grabbed her dual pistols and placed them on the holster that were attached on both sides of her legs. She then grabbed her favorite assault rifle and slung it over her shoulder. Running up to the others Karin smiled brightly all ready to go. "Morning my little Seonggyes." she laughed lightly. "So the mission, let's get to it!" she smiled before trudging forward in a goofy soldier march.

Roman took out a cigarette and lit it up. He brought it to his lips and took a long drag then exhaled the smoke from his nose. "How does the school lose a teacher?" he said to himself rather quietly before looking up at the tall trees that surrounded him. Barely any sun got through those thick green leaves that hung on the branches above him making the forest dim and eerie feeling. "What do you think Tsuki? Creepy in here isn't it?" he asked before giving the demon a soft pet on the head. Taking another drag of his cigarette, Tsuki began to make a noise similar to a cat, she meowed in an odd way like she always does when something is out of place and her ears stood up.

"Hmm?" Roman turned around only to hear, not see, rustling and twigs breaking. Cautiously walking over to the noise he realized that the rustling was actually a struggle and the voices of his teammates came into play. "Yo did you find hi-" Roman stopped mid sentence when he saw that thing in front of him. It was attacking Rhea. It all happened so fast, that monster, unlike the ones he ever saw before had Rhea on the ground gasping for air even though she put up a good fight. He looked down and Tsuki who gave him a face that let him know that she was ready to fight. In a swift second he jumped into action sending Tsuki out after she transformed into her bigger and more intimidating and powerful form.

While Tsuki kept the monster busy, Roman took this opportunity to run over to Rhea. He took his hand out for her to grab onto and pull herself up with while smirking slightly. "Watcha doing on the ground?" Once Rhea was up Roman turned his head around just in time to see Tsuki thrown back against a tree, that struck a nerve with Roman. "Oi, Tsuki let's get em!" he half shouted before the demon fox recovered and leaped to his side. "Want to tango big guy," Roman said with a slightly cokced head and a heated grin. His features changed as he felt his partners power rush into him, his hands now bared long sharp nails and his whole appearance looked animalistic. "then let's tango."

Roman leaped into the air with Tsuki and came down with both claws on the creature. Tsuki and him managed to keep him too busy to attack back with their fast paced combos and fighting styles which gave the team a bit of time to recover and get their heads back into the game.

It seemed Athena and Atsuko were preparing just like her, Dores was pleased to see. They must had picked up on the oddity of their schedule change as well. Botan and Karin even outright called it a mission. Did they know something Dores did not? Well, no matter, the knight decided. The class was strange enough as it was without worrying about frivolities like that.

“That shawl looks so good on you, copycat. Very classy.” Dores complimented Botan. Even with the accessory being pulled up to her nose, Dores thought it suited the aria. It's colour played off so vividly against her pale skin and white hair. Dores had been trying to get Botan to wear more red, she wondered if it was her influence.

Dores couldn't help but giggle at Karin's silly walk. It was good to see she was in high spirits. “You heard the lady, girls.” She cheerfully added, following in the dragoon's steps towards the class or mission or whatever was waiting for them on floor 2B was going to be held.

Atsuko watched as her other team members filed in one after another, giving them a smile in greeting. Botan seemed oddly uncomfortable after she greeted them, taking out a pack of tissue to place in her mouth. Was she feeling unwell? She gave her a quizzical look, before quickly remembering her discomfort among the crimson plasma. “Sorry.” She pulled open her bag, ignoring her stinging finger as she fixed her hairpin back in her hair. The bag contained only a few items, her heavy medical journal, some summoning papers and her first aid kit. Atsuko pulled out the white box from the other items, her hands moving through its contents expertly. Soon, she pulled out a box of alcohol swabs and gauze bandages. Wiping her bleeding finger to clear it of germs, she dressed the wound before turning to Athena.

The tamer’s finger was bleeding as well, though Atsuko hesitated before taking her wounded hand. They never really had a good relationship, and she wondered if the purple-haired girl would rather fix her finger herself. Yet, Athena might not know how to, and as a doctor she wasn’t going to take any chances. “This might sting a little.” Taking her hand gently, she cleaned the wound as wrapped it tightly up in bandages as well, checking it over again before dropping her hand.

“You heard the lady, girls.” Atsuko lifted her head just in time to see the Dragoon march off in a silly walk, Dolos following her lead to the classroom. She nodded, but took a second to rearrange her medicine box and put it back in her bag again. There was nothing wrong with organisation, it helps her to find things easily. Following closely after the others, Atsuko couldn’t help but feel a chill as she walked closer to the classroom. There were several theories spreading around the school population about the unrenovated floor, and it’s silent emptiness was further disturbing her. But there wouldn’t be any danger. They had been called there by a teacher, and she had the utmost confidence that teachers wouldn’t try to harm their own students.

Yet, her fingers reached for Dores’s clothes, tugging it gently as she pulled up her scarf a little to hide the discomfort on her features. This was scary, the sooner they finish class, the better. She took some comfort in the fact that the others were with her. At least she wasn’t completely alone on the mission.

She stopped just outside the door however, her heart pounding in her chest. The presence inside didn’t feel human at all, and she was feeling strangely apprehensive about the whole situation. It was so odd, but it was their class, after all. Still, she hid behind Dores, unwilling to go in first.

Athena narrowed her eyes as the Doctor took Athena's finger in her hand and gently wrapped it. Athena had the ability to heal on her own, but said nothing so as not to give away her species. Dores suddenly took off, Atsuko grabbing Dores's jacket like a scared little school girl, which is exactly what she was, and followed. Athena rolled her eyes, walking behind the two and wondering where Karin was. Had the girl not gotten the message that they were to meet here today? Athena wondered as they entered class 2-B. Inside was a teacher whose expression was anything but sinister. Her aura was odd though, there were dark waves rolling off of her and Athena hesitated to enter.

The confidence she wore as armor came back on though and Athena strode inside, taking a seat in the front. This was not their usual teacher, it was suspicious from the start but she wasn't about to say anything because often Exorcists had all kinds of auras and it could just be a simple misunderstanding. Just in case though, Athena did not call off her familiars who loyally sat on either side of her, waiting for some sort of instruction. "So teach, what's on the agenda today?" Athena asked, her confidence wavering as the teacher trained her eyes on her, an unsettling expression passing across her face. Athena turned to Dores and Atsuko, as though asking them if they had witnessed the odd look.

Suspect to the same neglect as the rest of floor 2B, the classroom was home to many a spider web on the ceiling. Dores' nose wrinkled. Even the janitor had abandoned the place. The very least they could have done was to clean the place. Dores noticed her coat pull against her torso, turning around to see Atsuko clutching onto it. The doctor's lip seemed to quiver subtly. Athena on the other hand, stepped into the classroom as if she owned it.

“Come on,” Dores encouraged Atsuko, “We can still sit together if we hurry.” She followed Athena to the stalls of the auditorium. 2B might not had been touched in centuries, if the architecture was anything to go by. In the style of a Gothic mansion's, the ceiling was at least one level higher than conventional. Though time had chipped away at it, patterns had been carved in the walls and the entrances (as well as numerous bookcases) were encased in detailed, wooden frameworks. It was as if the classroom was located in history itself. Yet, marks dark as ash also tainted the woodwork. An odd, out of touch detail.

Dores could practically sneeze when Athena sat down and a cloud of dust (that must had been nesting there for at least months) rose up. With one hand in front of her nose and mouth, with the other she repugnantly wiped the seat next to the tamer clean. “Disgraceful.” Dores said to herself, but more than loud enough for everyone in the classroom to hear. She put down her purse on the stalls in front of her and sat down next to Athena, who had already started talking business.

“Is everyone here?” The woman in front of the class spoke up. She had a strange bearing, the teacher's knees bent towards each other as if she had difficulty standing. Dores openly frowned upon noticing it, quickly returning a glance and a nod at Athena. There definitely was something strange about it.

“Good.” The teacher spoke again, sounding strangely detached as her head tilted sideways. Her eyes lit up in an ominous red, as suddenly the doors of the auditorium shut on their own and a shadow was cast through the entire room. Dores pinched softly Atsuko's hand underneath the chair, a small sign of reassurance. She assumed Athena, whose two coyotes rested beside her, would not feel surprised by her suspicions coming true.

Lights of the same color as the teacher's eyes lit up chandeliers on the sides of the room, coating the auditorium in a dim red glow. The teacher's face turned from apathetic to a wry smile. She softly began to giggle, throwing the classroom into a disarray.

“A demon!” One of the students shouted, as one after another shot up from their seats. Dores took a strong hold of both Atsuko and Athena's hands now, urging them to stay seated. They were soon the eye of a tornado, as around weapons were drawn from their sheathes and holsters. Before any of their fellow students attempted to fight, their supposed teacher reached deep inside her own mouth. Dropping to her own knees, she convulsed. The woman pulled from her throat a torch the size of her own forearm and as she did, her pink hair burst into red flames, her feet lifted from the ground and the flames on the chandeliers were drawn to her torch like moths...

“She's a lampad!” One of the students yelled, but his warning came too late. The young man, like many of his peers, were consumed by a wave of red flames that spread across the auditorium as the demon waved her torch. This trap should have taken out the entire class... But somehow averted Dores' purse. A sea of red fire crashed against an invisible wall, diverting it's course around team Olympus. It was the charm, 邊境 (border), Dores had prepared which had protected them. A lampad's flames were her body, forced to respect the boundaries of Dores' ink.

“Atsuko, take care of the wounded. I'll distract her. Athena, back me up!”

Using the dying red embers as a smokescreen, Dores burst forward from the stalls. She stepped upon the woodwork and jumped from one to another, closing the gap with each leap. Dores drew her brush from her purse amidst her acrobatics, using the element of surprise to get up close to the lampad. The demon glided backwards, barely dodging a stroke of Dores' brush. All across the classroom, the embers lit up strong once more. They flared up and by the demon's will, were guided as projectiles at Dores' back!

“Come on, we can still sit together if we hurry.”
Atsuko only gave her a small nod as she watched Athena march in the classroom with an air of confidence. She looked like nothing can hurt her, something that Atsuko personally felt wasn’t far from the truth. Athena was always so strong, they were almost complete opposites. It was a shame that Athena didn’t like her for some reason. Atsuko often wondered why, but she was too afraid to ask. Dores went off after Athena, and she followed close behind, loosening her grip on Dores’s clothes. She took a seat beside Dores, letting out an involuntary sneeze as a cloud of dust enveloped her. The entire classroom looked extremely old fashioned and under maintained, why would someone want to use it in the first place for a lesson? She shifted uncomfortably in her seat as Athena went straight to the point with the teacher.

“Is everyone here?” Honestly, she’d rather she was somewhere else. It had never occurred to Atsuko how tempting skipping a class can be. Skipping lessons or making excuses had never occurred to the usually obedient girl, but her imagination was turning for the worse when the teacher rose unstably, her knees looking as though they were twisted. She whimpered quietly as the teacher spoke once again, raising goosebumps on her arms. The demon wrapping itself around her neck hissed openly at the teacher, it’s claws digging into the fabric of her scarf. It didn’t serve to do anything but add to her discomfort. Her familiar was one of the more tame ones, hardly getting aggressive easily. It usually took a lot to get it this worked up.

When the doors slammed shut by themselves, Atsuko was completely sure that it was not a normal lesson. It must be a prank. The school wouldn’t let them get hurt that carelessly, definitely not. It must be one of those tests of bravery. Yet, she felt a sense of reassurance as she felt a small pinch from Dores, reminding her that she wasn’t completely alone. She was truly terrified, so whatever the lesson was about, it had probably served its purpose. The lights began to change color then, glowing the same, chilling red as the teacher’s eyes were. A low growl rumbled at the back of her familiar’s throat, growing in volume until it reached a loud yowl.

“A demon!” Immediately Atsuko started to stand up, only to be held back by a firm grip on her hand. Shooting Dores a quizzical look, she complied hesitantly, holding the now agitated familiar in place and urging him to calm down. She had complete faith in her friend, no matter if it might get her killed or not. Their surroundings looked chaotic, with the many students getting up and trying to find a means of escaping. She could see weapons coming out all around her, squeezing her eyes shut it fearful anticipation. Atsuko never had a stomach for violence, and she hated watching fights, much less being in one of them. However, there was a moment of silence. Opening her eyes to see what was happening, she instantly wished that she had kept them shut. The supposed teacher pulled a torch from her throat, and promptly burst into flames, the orange fire hungrily devouring the room. She winced as students were consumed by flames, her mind drifting off to page 87 of her think medical journal. Burns.

Much to her surprise, the flames avoided their team, spreading around them like some sort of barrier was preventing them from getting hurt. A protective charm. Dores was clever! Of course she would have thought of something for this. “Atsuko, take care of the wounded. I'll distract her. Athena, back me up!”

Another nod to her words and she was up, giving a short whistle as her familiar dropped to the ground beside her, still hissing rather ferociously at the flame demon. She only turned back to check on Dores and Athena when the embers around them flared up, lighting the room in a strange red light. “Dores! Watch out!” Her usually quiet voice had turned into a shrill scream as her teammate was being put into danger. The thoughts in her head had likewise grown into an alarming crescendo as Atsuko crossed the room quickly, trying to get into the way of the flames in an attempt to shield Dores.

It all happened so fast, Athena's mind hardly had time to wrap around it. Whatever, she didn't need to process, all Athena had to do was act. The lights bathed the room in a sickly red glow, as though the class had been doused in blood. Students burst into flames, the teacher pulled a torch out from her stomach and let out a laugh that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Slowly Athena stood, her coyote growling at the strange demon before them. Then there was a shout, and another. One a call for backup, the other screaming the demon's species; a Lampad. As soon as her mind wrapped around this fact the room was doused in flames, smoke rising up from the fire that began to consume the room.

Despite the low levels of visibility, Athena could see the attack coming as clear as day. "Dores!" Athena screamed and pushed her partner out of the way, one of her coyotes jumping up to consume the brunt of the attack while Athena caught the tail end. Her uniform was singed, but she was no worse for wear. "Are you alright?" Athena asked Dores, never taking her eyes off of the enemy. That seemed to be the one mistake everyone made.

"Brin, Bruno, listen to my wishes, leave none unfulfilled!" In an instant they were up again, the demon spirits circling the Lampad. One jumped, biting the teacher's arm and attempting to pull her to the ground, the other bit the teacher's leg, both tugging her this way and that as though they were in a game of tug-of-war. The image was ridiculous and if it weren't such an urgent situation Athena probably would have laughed. While the two dogs pulled, Athena gave a round house kick to the front, the demon falling back.

Triumphant, Athena pumped her fist in the air, but not for long. The next thing she knew the Lampad was running, shaking her coyotes off of itself and coming after her. Athena ducked, blocking a kick with her hands and being pushed back a few feet. "Dores, are you alright? Can you fight?"

The demon managed to dance around her attacks. Yet without hesitation, Dores continued her assault to push the lampad into a corner. She was almost there when she heard Atsuko shout her name. Unbeknown to Dores and Athena, Atsuko had saved the two of them from the initial attack. Yet the barrage of fireballs was hardly over as other flames slipped past the doctor. Again her name was shouted, this time by Athena, who shortly thereafter threw her weight at Dores' back causing her to topple over. The blaze that soared over the pair not a split second later, just the heat of it's trail told Dores that had Athena been a split second later, both of them would have been roasted!

“Watch me.” Dores responded with a wink to Athena's inquiry, her feathers unruffled by just how narrowly they had avoided. Within a flash, Dores was back on her feet and threw her coat to the side. She twirled her brush once, before bringing it down to her legs to ink the character 風 (wind) onto each of them, then 巨人 (titan) on her left arm.

Dores shot past Athena, the force of her sudden acceleration propelled the flames and smoke away from her. As if possessed, Dores pierced straight through the burning classroom at superhuman speed. She reeled back her arm as she zoomed into the demon, using both her momentum, weight and superhuman strength etched into her arm to grab the possessed teacher by the collar to bring and slam her into the nearest wall. The lampad screeched and fought back, but with the wounds inflicted by Athena's summons, she was in no position to challenge Dores' might. “Burn, burn!” She cried desperately. Her flaming hair flared up violently, almost reaching Dores' face. In the nick of time, Dores' brush touched the demon's neck, painting 封印 (seal) on her skin. As the red flames of her hair faded (as well as one of the characters on Dores' legs), so did embers around the classroom. For the time being, the lampad's pyrokinesis was sealed.

“Looks like we caught our selves the firestarter.” Dores joked, as she put the now defenceless demon in an armlock. “Now all we need is an aria to drive her out of our teacher.”

Athena watched the rest of the fight from the sidelines. Dores could handle the monster herself, it seemed, besides she had only asked Athena to be backup and the girl had done her job. "We should tie her up with something," Athena mumbled once Dores had gotten the demon into a headlock, as who knew how long those enchantments would last. Athena walked around the classroom until she had an idea and pulled the dusty curtains off of the window, allowing a bit of sunlight to filter into the room. Since the Lampad could no longer set herself on fire, they could wrap her in the curtain until an Aria could be summoned. Athena knelt beside Dores and tied the Lampad up, double checking her knots to ensure that they were secure.

When Athena stood, she noticed the burn on her arm wasn't healing and frowned. Her coyotes circled around her, clearly concerned, but Athena brushed it off, petting their hands to let them know that they had done an excellent job. "Good job subduing her like that," Athena said to Dores, then turned to Atsuko. Normally Athena wouldn't acknowledge the Doctor, but she gave the girl a thumbs up of approval, even though she hadn't aided in the fight. Atsuko had tended to the wounded students, which was important. It was always imperative to evacuate civilians first. Their lives came before anyone of the exorcists.

Now that they had all been inflicted with a demon wound there would be much more reports of demons on the campus. Athena would have to be extra careful not to be seen when she went out at night. "Should I go get an Aria?" Athena questioned, [color=#CC99CC]"Or should we simply drag the teacher back to headquarters?" This wasn't their teacher, their teacher was probably watching from the sidelines somewhere. This was just some innocent True Cross Academy fledgling that had gotten their body possessed.

xxxxxxxxxxAnother bell rings, another morning starts at True Cross Academy, the school for students training to hunt demons. Today, our group of twelve will be starting the day off with John Smith's class - the study of demons. Their teacher has a few things in store for his students today, mainly revolving around them summoning their own demons, studying them, before he gets his chance to show off his two companions for the class to observe and take note of. Although... things may get a little messy, considering it is the infamous John Smith, but then again, it's John Smith we're talking about. He usually has his class under control. Usually.

The man was sitting in his chair, behind the desk his two, dark boots settled to rest on while he reclined back comfortably. Students began to file through the open door, taking a seat wherever, seeing how John didn't care much for seating as long as everyone behaved well enough. The classroom might have vaguely smelled of smoke since he was smoking only a few minutes before another teacher walked by. Now, he was 'reading' a book that was placed right over his face. Was he... sleeping?

Well, after a few students peered at the giant stacks of paper on his desk, they passed it off as the one-eyed man simply catching up on lost rest from the night before. In reality, he was awake, but their notions were right- god was paperwork a pain...

The only reason she was there was because of the class subject and who was teaching the class. Mr. Smith was generally a friendly guy, and very lenient and casual with his students. Plus, he taught things about demons, which she knew she'd have to learn about one day or the other. It'd probably be important, seeing how she had no interest in being killed this year or the next.

She sat basically in the center of the class, pretty much occupying herself with checking her nails and yawning. Why did the class have to start so early in the morning...? Maybe if school started in the evening, she wouldn't mind as much, but this was...

Rhea sighed and hung her head. "Maybe I should just go back and get some sleep like he is..." she murmured to herself upon seeing their own teacher looking like he had a hangover and made an attempt at coming to teach. She sighed again at her own thoughts, letting her head rest on the desk as she continued to debate with herself if she should leave, glancing over at the door every once and a while. Once the class started, it'd be impossible to get out unnoticed.

He knew he could still gain some knowledge out of it, learning about the types of demons, what each was capable of, any weak points, and so on. Even if he didn't learn anything new, he knew he wouldn't have the guts to skip out on class like the a few others could.

What use would that book of his be in such a class? None. It'd be of no help, but for some reason, as long as he held it, he felt a bit safer. Those rumors of demons suddenly popping up out of no where creeped him out... he didn't want to be useless if that were to happen in their class (though even if it did, Haru's memorized all of his lines but always feels too unconfident in his amount of skill).

He didn't even seem to be able to make eye contact with any of the other students walked in the door. He didn't care much if anyone didn't sit next to him or did - he was feeling far to fidgety as usual. Did he bring everything he needed? Did he forget anything back at the dorms? Of course not, he was just overthinking things, as usual.

What use would that be for a kid who could'd communicate with the teacher? It didn't really matter though, Niko had hardly any questions whenever a class was over anyways.

For a long while, he just stared at their teacher. 'How did a goofy guy like him even get this job...?' he thought to himself, and then lowered his eyes beneath his desk where his hands were, covered by those black gloves, as usual. His thumb stroked the palm of his hand, feeling the giant scar beneath the thin fabric. For a second, it almost brought the boy back to those times where there was blood and and pain and-

...He snapped out of it, frowning and cringing uncomfortably. 'I have to focus on class...' Now, he was a doctor for a team of twelve, and class would be starting soon. He didn't want to miss out on learning anything important, and missing out meant knowing less. Knowing less meant probable failure on his part, and he couldn't have that.

Still... when was their teacher going to wake up exactly?

She was late, she knew she was late, and yet somehow Athena couldn't exactly bring herself to care. Her hands were in her pockets as she walked down the hall, her scythe looking like nothing more than an odd key that hung around her neck. Getting herself motivated to go to class was a challenge, unlike her sister, who was now a famous exorcist that worked for True Cross, Athena didn't really care to kill her kind. The only reason she was doing this was to find her parents, to uphold her end of the deal so that she could live. True Cross was never exactly kind to demons, but they had been decent enough to Athena and Wren, they hadn't spilled their secret to anyone, not even the teachers.

It was always a risk going into a classroom filled with students trained to hate the beings of darkness, but it's not as though Athena could choose what family she was born into. Her's just happened to be a bit unconventional. Athena took her hands out of the pockets of her uniform skirt, it was about time she went to aforementioned class, their teacher was someone she had never met and apparently was a great exorcist. Athena walked down the hall slowly, as though to savor each step before entering the room only to find it barely full. So she wasn't late after all.

Athena looked to find a desk in the back and soon found a seat, beside a doctor clutching at his prayer book. She frowned, wondering why he looked like like he was about to vomit or burst into tears, or maybe it was both? "You know, you shouldn't come to class if you aren't feeling well." Athena said as she drummed her fingers against the hard surface of the desk.

Punctuality was, without a doubt, something that a hero should never fail to withhold. Yet, Kyo, one aspiring to be such, found himself moving through the halls of True Cross at a brisk jog, one hand swinging by his side and the other holding in place a blade sheathed on his back. As he proceeded to the classroom to which he was assigned, he made sure that he had all of his necessary equipment with him. Two knives, one in a sheathe on his leg and the other in his arm bracer, the sword sheathed on his back, lightweight armor, all was present and accounted for. The reason for his lack of punctuality on this very day would be due to the time he had spent on the school's training field. It was a daily routine for him to wake up early and go train, but today he was caught up in the practice, more so than usual.

Nearing the room that would now be his class, Kyo slowed his pace down to a walk and stopped short of the door. He slowly inched it open and walked in, prepared to give his excuse alongside an apology. Those mental preparations proved unnecessary upon the realization that most students had yet to arrive and the teacher himself appeared to be taking a nap. From the looks of things, most of the people present had a preference to the middle-rear ends of the classroom. Kyo, on the other hand, chose to sit towards the front of the classroom, specifically the seat closest to the door. He had two main reasons for doing so, being near to the front in the event of an emergency will allow him to do his job as a knight better, as well as being near to the exit so he may leave as soon as the class had concluded.

Upon taking his seat, Kyo let out a rather long sigh and laid his head against the desk with his arms stretched out before him. "Ah... I'm just a secondary fighter, aren't I?" He mumbled, referring to the setting of this, so-called, large group team, "I don't understand that. I put in enough training, right? Should I double those efforts? Maybe if I beat the knight currently on the main force, they'll see that I deserve to be on it." With another sigh, Kyo felt his body tension relax. That's easier said than done though. She's got that wicked polearm. Her reach with that thing far outclasses the reach of my weapons.

Today was a lovely day, a lovely day upon which Anzhela could actually see. That rarely was the case, but this morning was one of the rare mornings when she woke up with her contacts exactly where they should be and thusly wore them. As a result her eyes gleamed an unnatural red and could fully observe, fully take in her beautiful surroundings. Well, that’s half true.

Unfortunately the green-haired woman had little opportunity to take in her surroundings as she had to rush to class since she was running late. Punctuality was one talent she usually possessed but today was a special day, though few would really notice as few noticed her so she suspected that today too she’d slip in without being noticed. Now as for how a usually punctual woman would be so not punctual on this particular morning is a humdrum tale, but if you wish to hear it, it is one that can be told nonetheless. But firstly, what you must understand is that Anzhela, who was so prone to losing things and was well aware she was prone to losing things, had not been expecting her contacts to be right where they were supposed to be, and as a result that had been the last place she had thought to look for them when she got up on this particular unpunctual morning.

Imagine her frustration when she woke up, tore her room to pieces in search of the thin crimson circles, failed to find them, momentarily gave up, only to find them moments later exactly where she remembered putting them and exactly where they should be, put them in, and then fully saw the state of her room - the state, by the way, she put it in mere moments before. Imagine further the frustration she felt after considering the fact that she had just cleaned her room the night before. Now, imagine her frustration and horror when she look at the alarm clock by her bed and realized she was a full ten seconds late.

Oh the horror was immeasurable. A full ten seconds. She could run and make up the time, but that simply wasn't something she would be inclined to do. No, certainly not, she would much prefer to simply dread her fate and walk. That required far less effort. Plus, her teacher today would likely be reclining in his chair - as that seemed to be a regular habit for him - and feigning sleep. 'No teacher at our school would really sleep in class, especially not with the recent...mishaps that have been occurring at least.'

Honestly, she loved and hated this class. She loved and hated her teacher as well. John Smith was more lax than the others, but at the same time he liked his students to at least put in their best effort - and he had a good eye for it when a student didn't. Furthermore, she was a tamer. That meant there was an unspoken pressure placed upon her to preform and frankly, she didn't really like summoning her demons for the entire world to see. Part of what made them effective is that they were mysterious. Their illusions were only half as effective once you knew what they were and what they could do. The precariously thin veil - thin lie - they cast gets torn ever so slightly when her opponents wield truth.

Of course, a simpler reason for her disdain for going to class at the moment might simply be she didn't like school and she didn't like being late. She weighed those two thoughts as she stood in front of the classroom door.

As she predicted. She was exactly ten seconds late. With a sigh, she checked her hood - yes, she was well covered - and slipped into the room. Her scarlet orbs quickly picked out an empty seat in the back of the room, one that would allow her to slip into the scenery easily while still giving her the ability to observe the rest of the students. It would do, though it was unfortunate that there were so many other students who had gravitated in that direction as well.

Without a sound, and only a fleeting glance at the teacher who may or may not have been sleeping - though Anzhela suspected the latter was true - she disappeared into back of the room. From her position she easily scoped out the other students. Kyo, the knight was prostrating himself on his desk - likely thinking about his unhappy position as a secondary knight as - in her observation of him in the past - that seemed to be the only prevalent thought he cared for.

Kardos had his nose buried in a book, though even with her contacts she really couldn't see what it was, but if she had to take a guess it was likely a bestiary. Rhea looked as though she was having one of her internal debates, and knowing her, it concerned whether or not she'd actually stay for class. If she had to bet on it, she'd bet she'd decide to leave right before it was impossible to do so and be forced to stay. In the other back corner of the room, only a few seats away was Athena and Haru. Athena was speaking to him, while he looked like a nervous wreck - as per usual.

Niko was exactly one seat away, though she didn't try to speak to him, frankly she doubted he would want anyone to speak to him at all, so she thought it best to respect his wishes. That being said, she couldn't bring herself to act as if she totally ignored him, so she nodded slightly to him instead, she didn't wait for him to respond in kind as she wasn't certain he would and turned her gaze away from him and to the front of the class. She didn't become an honor roll student by not paying any attention in class after all.

"Perfect..."

Petasus was walking down the hall, A bit late...but Petasus wasn't distraught, After non-creepy observation of the man behind the desk, he has witnessed John's lenient tendencies first hand, though, not the best trait to have as a teacher, but, for teaching this group of misfits, it is useful nonetheless. His arms were behind his back, The crimson coat stretching down to his thighs, black dress pants making up his bottom half, A white shirt tied up with a bow tie, A large top hat placed on top of a white mask, Hiding a...Well, Lets be quiet, He might overhear.

Petasus wasn't necessarily a teacher's pet, Doing good in school is something he does already, but he wanted to be someone who people look up to, because it seems everyone decides to look away, he didn't blame them, he just didn't want that to be the case, it can't be helped though, nor it should, If Petasus decides to try something, the responses would be anything but heartwarming.

Petasus lightly opened the door, if class has started, that would be quite embarrassing, everyone seemed to be seated in different corners of the room, Petasus knew that the room mostly consisted of people who wouldn't enjoy his company, but at the very back, Kardos was reading a book, Kardos and Petasus seemed to be on good terms, As they both enjoyed one's presense, Petasus inched up the seats, before sitting one seat from the left, away from the tamer. Nodding as a greeting, Kardos seemed to be mumbling to himself at the same time while reading the book, but Petasus payed little attention, the people that were in the class got the same treatment.

Primaries? Petasus didn't really know about these titles, he didn't know anything about these, except that he was one, Was it by age? Petasus would like to think it was about skill, but that surely couldn't be the case, it doesn't take much skill to fire a gun after all. His teacher, John Smith, was it? His name was in league with generic names such as Bob Doe, and Mary Sue, It seemed like a name straight out of a novel, Well, John seemed to be relaxing, late students seemed to prove little importance, this class seemed to be unfit for a Dragoon too, but Petasus was a different case, Learning about demons would prove as his main priority. Petasus sat on a chair, away from a desk, one hand behind his neck, the hand turning into a pillow, his other hand was spinning one of his unique firearms, It was unloaded, but at another glance, that would be hard to tell.

Being on time and prepared for class was always something Ashitaka found herself proud of, well, being. In fact, she rarely was even absent or late to a class. If she was, chances were it was due to something not very... pleasant as some would say. Of course, Ash had to admit, Mr. Smith's class was by no means her favorite. On the plus side, however, it taught her how to be more effective when facing certain infliction brought on by demons themselves. In the end though, no one could exactly knew everything about demons. Walking into class, Ash bit the inside of her lip as she looked at Mr. Smith...

Sleeping? Really? Or maybe not. Regardless, it was important for him to at least rest before class started. She didn't know about the others, but at least she'd study as she waited for his eventual awakening. Now the question was, who was she going to see by? Glancing over everyone, Ash had to fight off a frown. It looked like everyone was taken, or just didn't want to be bothered with... wait, Rhea wasn't! Or at least, she wasn't before she glanced at the door, which had unfortunately Chikanori waving her to come ditch with him. God, after an entire week of him warning her and a few close friends, it looked like he was making true to his word. Well, at least he was an honest man.

Sighing, and just deciding to take a seat in the row between the back and center, Ash just hugged her bag close. A medical book, supplies in case of emergency, and her gloves carefully placed inside. Without this bag, she'd probably be in serious trouble at some point... she just hoped she wouldn't have to use them anytime soon.

Right, okay, this was completely stupid. A hundred percent. Why did he even have to go to something so... repulsive? Demons and hims weren't friends, by any means, and being a more common, 'go-to' target to ones on the field? Nah. Regardless of how he looked at it, though, it was an outcast. He didn't belong back at his Father's old work place, and to be honest? He didn't belong here, at True Cross, either. Or even walking among humans.

It was disgusting how cruel he was in his own thoughts, not that he cared much. It was just how his mind twisted: Once a being breaks from a herd, it'll always be an outsider.

Ah, shit! He really didn't want to skip alone. At least with Rhea, he could have fun just being an asshole with no one to exactly judge him. Right, it was time to go and drag Rhea the hell outta that horrible class. Stomping his boot down the hallway and stopping outside the Teacher's class, Chikanori scowled as he tried to adjust to who was in there.

Haru, of course... Anthea, Ash, annoying brat-Kyo, Petasus, Anzhela, Niko, Koharu, Rhea, and ah, Kardos. Right, okay, pretty much everyone was there, weren't they? Shit. His eyes met Ash's just as he began trying to get Rhea's attention, pointing down the hallway to an easy 'escape'. After awhile it was sort of rapid, his eyes carefully observing John Smith, who might of not been as tired as everyone seemed to think he was... But then again they weren't exactly worried about skipping like he was.

At least Rhea looked like she desperately wanted to leave...?
