In the distance it would seem as if a shadow was walking in the sun, sprouting into two different directions. Of course this was wrong. The woman coming towards them was merely wearing a thin layer of black clothing, which swathed her hole body in the shade. Long-sleeved shirt, black gloves, thigh-high boots of the same color, and matching shorts. Even her newsboy cap shaded her face in black. It was strange, it really was, especially in this heat.

The figure stopped, still as a marble statue just before she reached the two men. Her head jutted in their direction suddenly, and then she became still again. After a long pause, she brought up her hand and slipped off the cap, revealing a face that was at least pleasant and drew eyes away from the features she lacked. Her lips were plump and her eyes bright. Her cheeks glowed red for the heat. "What a promise that is! I'm ravished!" She said, a wide grin sneaking onto her face. "I

The woman plopped herself down onto the ground next to him with absolutely no indication that she respected the space between them or that she was sharing that same space with two potentially dangerous men. She hooked her cap on her knee and watched them work away, folding her legs neatly. "Oh, me? Not...not a thing at all!" She lied, though her smile was rightly deceptive, even if her speech was not. "Wha' about yourselves, then? Just a pair of bards, you look!"

"Ah, hunters, you say! Well, I'm embarrassed, I should have known you weren't such simple people!" She exclaimed, quite literally smacking herself in the forehead. In truth, the woman might have figured it out already, but she really wasn't going to say. No, instead, she rocked forward and planted her hands on her knees, laughing at the mans apparent joke. "Well, what be your prey, then? I'm afraid you've got me a bit lost, there."

"Ah...a man, eh? Just...just one man?" She asked, voice breaking a bit. She was still as bright as ever, but something seemed to break. A hope, maybe? A spark of excitement, fizzling? "Well, he must really be dangerous, I suppose," came the woman suddenly, her whole demeanor darkening. Her brows came forward and wrinkled the bridge of her nose, where she seemed to be in deep thought. "But then again, he might just be an escape artist...even certain little tricks can worm people out of these situations...but ah! What if, what if he has hidden accomplices! What if he...what if..." she looked to the two men, noting now how she seemed to be getting a bit too excited. "Ah, don't take any bother of that, I...like to analyse things. Really, I mean it." She looked away and patted her cheek. "Who is this man, then?"

"A...a demigod?!" Came the woman, eyes darting to the ground, then to his face, and back to the ground. "Those exist here? By God, no one told me that!" She huffed, obviously annoyed with someone that neither of these men would have ever met in their entire lives. She tapped a finger on her lip, exhaling a thin stream of air through her mouth. Suddenly, that little grin she'd given them earlier returned.
A demigod, eh? That would be a good chance to test her skills on...

"Hey, ah...you wouldn't mind if I joined you in this little quest, would ya?" She said coyly, blinking at them with large eyes. "I mean...you'll need all the help you can get, from what I gather!"

"Really? D'aw, that's not fun," she seemed to complain, though, as always, the woman scrambled hastily too hide it. "I mean! I mean...that's very convenient! And I'll be sure to give you my services wherever I can! I mean...I'd just be a load otherwise, right?" She said, scooting herself closer to him (and the food) as she spoke. "I mean, I can fight too. Did I tell you I could fight? Of course not. Oh, oh! I haven't even told you my name yet! I'm Albertine Fox, but...but you can call me Al. Or Fox. Or anything, really."
What kind of spastic woman was this?

"Well, well. My second night here and already there's a party!" Came the voice of a tall, lean young lady, weaving in between the many bodies that swarmed the gardens that night. Her hair was cut into a long bob, falling right below her ears. Normally her hair was black, but she felt the need for a bright green streak in the front. Just for the party. After all, it matched the thigh-highs she was wearing, all paired together with a red tube-top and black shorts. She was dressed for having a good time, that was for sure. She hadn't carried a single weapon with her, either. No, that'd just ruin the whole thing!

The woman looked up to the stage, unfamiliar with just about every person up there. She twisted her head around, the gossip and chatter of the reporters catching her attention. They seemed to be swarming around the suited man who was throwing the party, Nick Erringer. She might have interfered if not for the futakuchi-onna. Hmph. The situation was under control, then.

"You don't seem so used to this environment, sir. You stick out a little," came a voice. It was the melodious tone of a woman that was sitting a few seats over, slowly drinking a cup of beer and watching the crowd. She wore absolutely green thigh-high boots, a pair of black shorts, and an orange tube-top. Se was very dressed for the occasion. "So I must ask...why might you be here?" She said. A black bobbed hairstyle with a streak that matched her boots brushed her shoulders.

"By the way, that is a mighty interesting creature you have there."

"Attractive companionship?" Giggled Fox, brushing her fingers through her hair briefly before turning her body toward the trainer. "Well, I may not be the most attractive woman here, but I can certainly provide you with conversation," she said kindly, placing her cup onto the counter as she reached down to hold a hand out to the creature. "Absol, hm? Very neat, pretty animal. But...what is your name, sir? I'm Albertine Fox. You can call me either; I have a million nicknames."

"Me? I do a great many things," she said, trying to be as vague as possible. "I do a lot of...fighting. I also study people on a constant. I guess you could call it a hobby," said Al, allowing the strange animal to sniff her. "And yourself? I see it as only right to delve right back. Do you perhaps take animals in? Or maybe you're a gene-splicer?"

"Really? You have animals as allies? Do you train them? What do you use them for?" Asked Albertine, but her eyes widened at the mention of fighting. In fact, she grinned, excited at the fact that fighting came into play. Gods knew she loved fighting. "Aw, well, if you're up for it again in the future, I'll always be a close call behind!" She said brightly, watching as the blind man seemed to know exactly where his drink and the counter was. Odd.

"You keep them in small little spheres?" She asked, almost reaching out to touch the thing. She refrained, however. It was not hers, and it was probably very important. "Or does it simply represent them?" Fox wasn't going to let this man go anytime soon. It was her first two days in Wing City, the place she'd been bred to fight in! She had magic, powers, technology, and yet at the same time she managed to be weak in some areas. Wing City had a big population to control. She had trained merely to live here.

"Weeeell, well!" Mused Albert, leaning forward to study the animal. "I'm liking this a lot. Do you have them fight people? Surely, it can't be too dangerous, right?" She asked, folding one long leg over the other. Right...her boots, her boots. She didn't have the proper boots on, nor had she brought any of her weapons. "Though, not today, of course. But...some other time. Some other time would be nice.

"That makes me happy. I'll be looking forward to it, too!" Said Albertine, crossing her arms and feeling completely content with herself. "Then lets drink to it! For future battles!" She cheered, holding up her cup before understanding that he could not see it. "Ah, oh, dear..."

The tree's rustled in a small breeze, masking the sounds of the Fox's footsteps as she crept. She wore a brown newsboy cap today, all matched with a tight, sleeveless black shirt and a pair of khaki shorts. Upon her feet were boots, stopping right below her knee in an intricate design. They weren't ordinary boots, oh, no.

As Vance called out, Albertine dodged out from inside an alleyway, stopping in front of the man with a skid. "Hello again. Are you ready for a fight?"

A very lean woman entered, slipping sunglasses from her round face as she pushed away the doors to Gambits. She looked around briefly, as if wondering where she could sit, before taking a table to the side. It had only two chairs, so she supposed she was alright for now. Not like there were many people here; all she could spot was black puffball of feathers in a corner booth. She stared for a second, fingers running through her bobbed hair, before she simply plugged in her order and waited for her drink to come.

"So have I. I am anxious!" She said, backing up, boots thumping on the ground. "Come, come! I've already gotten my warm-up running here! Does your creature need time?" She asked, stretching out one hand and tilting her fingers back and forth. The movement said 'come.'

The woman was a bit startled as the creature came toward her, opening all its small eyes and even...even speaking to her!
Calm down, Albert. You were raised to live here...to fight here! You're not supposed to be startled, she thought to herself, blinking twice before regaining her composure. "A glass of rum cream. Whats it to you?" She asked, peering closely at the bird.

"Have you even any credits to buy anything?"
