Towering above you, the peaks pierced midnight into the clear blue sky. Even the ground eluded towards darkness, grasses growing shorter with every one of your steps. The stone mass appeared to have come into existence completely at random, as if a thousand hulking and oddly shaped boulders fell from the heavens. Deep crevices contrasted the wild protrusions of rock, it was truly a wild and mysterious structure.

She ambled closer, spotting a crack that looked not like the other cracks. It was more of a gap, really.
"Well If we want to make the summit, we're probably going to have to do this the old fashioned way...Ladies first?" He grins, leeringly. "Or I can go on ahead if you like, Mistress Captain."
He eyes the crack carefully. "Not sure if thats wide enough... And if it is, what are we likely to find?" He frowns, the task of survival momentarily distracting him from thinking of ways to hit on the redhead.
Genevieve scaled the mountain of rock with her eyes. It was tall, and who knew what was up there? Who knew if they could get up there.

He fancied himself a good climber, but without rope he might aswell be an untrained landsman. "If things get too narrow I can always pull you back out."
