Trade nexxus outside the Epsilon system. Various ships are often docked for repairs or resupply. It is also home to the popular Pure Hearts Casino, which often offers a respite for weary travelers.
Built a long time ago, it was bought by Christopher Sparks. Doing the work any businessman knows to do, Space Station Z returned to it's former glory as a hub of trade and commerce.
A privately owned Station, Space Station Z remains independent of any government and welcomes them all here, so long as they remain peaceful during their stay. Otherwise would be bad for business.
This does not, however, stop various governments from conducting raid on various claims of jurisdiction. Depending on who's running the show that day, the raids may or may not be permitted to commence. Saying please , ironically enough, seems to work.

RiCHARD b-3 continued to clack away at the keyboard as the Aschen transmission came through. It took two or three seconds to process the message, and another six to respond.

Detatching from the station, the Scylla pulled away, and began to spool it's ftl.
