Yui had been so adorable only moments before Luna awoke, grabbing Ren in a choke hold. She was giggling about the ocean, excited to catch a glimpse of the sparkly sea. Her smile melted slowly, her eyes widening as the car swerved, the next few minutes happening in rapid succession. Lia grabbed onto Yui, pulling the child out of the car seat and into her barrier. The car was out of control, Ally and Leo screaming as the windows smashed, Lia pushing Yui through, protecting her. Ronan grabbed Leo and Ally by their waists, Ally's wheelchair plummeting off of the bridge and into the ocean. He got them back up, Ren and Luna battling above them, Lia setting Yui down on her feet. The child looked around, realizing that the ground was rumbling. Her eyes widened as her wings snapped open, reaching out for her clone. Lia grabbed her wrist, Yui beginning to light up in order to save the humans.
She pointed towards them, orbs of light sent out in order to catch the falling people and take them safely towards land. There were a lot of them, some still trapped in cars, others having gotten out in order to watch. "I can help!" Lia said, letting go of Yui's wrist, she fell towards the ground, maintaining a border around Yui while she made smaller ones to protect the citizens from falling debris. A news helicopter above them caught it all on camera, a live stream being fed directly to the news of Luna and Ren, two angels, fighting to the death in the middle of the sky. "Stop it!" Ronan called to them, "the public are going to get ideas!" They were ruining their image, which was something they had to maintain if they wanted to continue to be public figures.
"Ronan, it doesn't matter!" Yui called to him, she would take care of it, knowing she had to stop them. "We need to end this fight!" Yui was panting hard, having already used up plenty of energy in order to save her fellow Japanese citizens from falling to an untimely death. "Lia, get Yui out of here!" Ronan waved an arm in their direction, holding up a support beam with a blood tail. His hair was doing something strange, its salt and pepper quality slowly turning white. He let out a scream, using his tails to push the beam back in place. Leo grabbed Ally, knowing that they had to get out of here. A hole began to form beneath Ronan, who was rushing to get a child out of a car that was tipping towards the edge. "Ronan!" Yui screamed, her wings snapping shut so that she could dive towards him. He fell through, attempting to use a blood tail to catch himself. His grip slipped, both him and the child rushing towards the water.
"Ronan, hang on!" Yui screamed, her brother grinning. "Yui. Catch," he threw the child up towards her, Yui's wings snapping out once more as she caught the baby. "Ronan!" Yui screamed as he hit the water. Ronan didn't know how to swim, he had never learned how to. The only thing keeping him afloat in the Abyss had been Xavier, Loki, and his muscle density. Here, however, it would work against him, the salinity not enough to keep him buoyant. Yui flew upwards, looking for the mother of the baby, who was making happy cooing sounds. The woman reached out, screaming about her child. Yui placed the baby gently in it's Mother's arms. "Th-thank you! Thank you Goddess!" The human cried, falling to her knees.
"Yui, wait!" Lia called, but Yui was already setting off to save her big brother. She didn't know how the fight between Luna and Ren was going, but she expected her angels to figure it out. Yui was about to take her first plunge into the ocean, although she had never expected it to happen like this.
