One thing that is very clear about Adrian, is that he's a stubborn little shit. Often fighting in class with others, who have different opinions, Adrian isn't one to back down from a fight. He seems to inherit most of his personality from his father, much to his mother's dismay. The boy is a volatile bomb waiting to explode on others. Temperamental anger and impatientness do not mix well. It's simply like a nuclear bomb, and he's not apologizing for it. Adrian doesn't like to wait for things. He prefers to take grasp of it, and take it by his own hand, he doesn't like to be lead along through shit just because he'll "eventually" get something good. He prefers taking the good upfront. Adrian does not view himself as a follower, he's very much a leader and has no qualms about leading others. Despite all the upright roughness, the male is loving and kind. He would often be seen helping his younger siblings with their homework and taking care of them while his mother worked. He doesn't care for this, he feels like he's able to help others and it leaves him with a warm feeling in his heart.
Adrian is an extremely friendly person, he'll often soften things for other people. Which seems to be contradicted by his inability to deal with his own emotions. Preferring to focus on his friends' problems, he'll let them go on and on for hours with their issues. But he will never talk about his own. He feels he is a burden when he does, so he avoids talking about himself.
Do not touch Adrian's friends. Don't hurt them. Don't look at them the wrong way. Don't do anything you think will set him off, he's overly protective of his friends. Them being the reason he hadn't left when he could have, he holds his friends over everything. He would even go to prison for his friends (and has almost on several occasions) and has no remorse for what he does. Around the high-school, Adrian earned himself the title of a trouble-maker. Using sarcasm as a defense mechanism tends to get you sent to the principal's office several times in a row. Getting in fights, scandals with teachers (a misunderstood rumor), he was well known in the school. All in all, if you know Adrian, he's a good person.

HISTORY
To begin with, Adrian was an unplanned child. His parents tried and tried, but they weren't succeeding. When they stopped trying, Rosaline became pregnant with him. She and Michael began to fight, and he left. He wasn't ready to be a father, and Rosaline was pushing him harder than normal to find a job and help her pay her bills. He refused, and she met Adam. By then, Adrian was ten years old, and he already had two younger siblings by two other men. His mother began to fall apart, so the young boy took it up by himself to take care of his siblings. Making him a parental unit at such a young age.
Taking over the more responsible capabilities, Adrian wound up taking care of his two drunken parents. In his mother's drunken rages, she'd compare him to his father, and hit him. She'd blame Adrian for her and Michael splitting up, and he became extremely resentful towards his mother. But he never once said anything, because he needed to care for his siblings. He wouldn't let them go through such a pain of the world he did. He sheltered them as much as he could, by the time he was fifteen, his youngest brother Brayden was born, and he fell in love with another child all over again. Eventually, this got to the point of where his siblings started to refer to him as their father. It started out as a joke, but to Adrian, he felt like they eventually became sincere. Adrian's step-father had been arrested shortly after his youngest brother's birth, and his mother continued to slip more into the deep dark disease of alcoholism. Adrian started working odd-jobs for neighbors, and bussing at restaurants and becoming essentially a "grown-up".
As the time came closer for him to graduate, Adrian's step-father came out. And the two would nonstop argue. Adam would think he was trying to cut him out of the picture, and Adrian would become defensive. This lead into several altercations between the two. His mother, never even bothered to take her child's side. She always sided wtih Adam. Soon, Adrian became numb to this. Eventually going to the parties in the school, and getting wasted. Adrian had always been "closeted" about his interest in men, developing in middle school with a person he grew up with. He never came out in a way he wished. It all happened at a party.
One of the parties the "rich kids" threw for a holiday, that Adrian managed to get an invitation from. He spent most of the party drunk off his ass, then met a boy named Blake. The two hit it off well, and ended up making out at the party. Well, people took pictures, pictures got around and his parents found out. Kicking him out, because they weren't going to "raise a fag". With his savings, he agreed to the plan to move to New York. A fresh start, a new him.
