Kuro Hakai/ Kagami Hakai's Story

Rin quietly woke up from sleeping and rubbed her eyes.
"Ugh, how long did I sleep." She questioned as she opened her eyes to find her golden essence around her. Her eyes quickly narrowed as she tries to wave it away.
"I didn't know I could use this in my sleep." She said drowsily. She, sadly, wasn't a morning person. Her eyes quickly caught a tiny bit of motion and she quickly pulled out her sword and pointed it where she thought she saw something move. It looked a bit more golden than the rest and seemed to blend well.... She quickly tried to shrug off the quick feeling as her eyes scanned the room. No one was there.
"You're just tired. Calm down." She mumbled to herself as she quickly put away her sword and the essence finally disappeared. Her eyes found to the door and she walked over to open it when she thought she saw another movement. She quickly swung open the door and swung around only to find no one.
"What the hell....?" She slightly whispered and then shut the door behind her.
"I swear, if this is Raze again, I'm literally gonna kill him...." She muttered as she found her way to the kitchen.

Setsugie was still out cold so Belldandy materialized from the blade looking at the sleeping Setsugie she only smiled before leaving the infirmary. As soon as she step out of the room she felt it, something was off there where two presences she'd never felt before in the base, she couldn't make them out as if it was two raw masses of energy, this peaked Belldandy's interest. Belldandy walked soon finding herself in the presence of the Rin, slightly bewildered but the masses of such energy must be from her it very predictable, Belldandy walked to Rin "Good Morning Rin-dono." Belldandy greeted her with a bow, "Is everything alright?" She then added.

She chewed on her lip as she continued walking blindly through the base. She was angry for reasons she couldn't explain. After awhile of getting herself lost, she leaned on a wall and made sure she wasn't followed. She needed some time to sort things out in her head.

First, why was she worried for Raze? He was a vampire and a stranger. He couldn't be a friend. He was too untrustworthy. He recently proved this. She looked down as she thought of him a tiny bit more and nodded her head. She was right, she couldn't trust him right now. She let people like him in before. All they did in the end was ruin her. She grabbed the clothes right over her heart as she thought of this moment in her life. She quickly shook her head as she let her momentary weakness disappear. She'd think of that later. She knew she'd need to address it at some point, but now was not that time.

The next matter to think about was whatever was in her room this morning. She couldn't play ignorance anymore. She knew that was no trick of her sleepy mind. Whatever it was, she'd have to be more cautious. She'd also have to learn of it. It would be idiotic to not learn about it. In the end, it could be dangerous. She gave another sigh as she looked up. She'd need to figure this out sooner or later.

Rin's head popped up. She felt uneasy... Something wasn't right. It felt as if... she wasn't alone. Rin looked right up to where Dimitri was standing and he immediately felt a crushing pain in his chest as her eyes changed to a gold. She gave a smirk as her power wrapped around him.
"Who are you and why are you sneaking up on me...?" She questioned as she immediately felt she was losing control. She'd have to hurry if she didn't want to lose it here. Someone else was starting to take over.

Belldandy only gave a nod to Rin before going back to the infirmary 'Strange girl...' she though as she opened the door to the infirmary, seeing a new body it was Raze he had gotten back, Belldandy only smiled silently walking passed by Raze and sat besides Setsugie. Setsugie opened his eyes once again seeing Belldandy, Setsugie stretched his muscles feeling slightly off, 'Something feels wrong...' Setsugie thought, "Is something the matter Setsugie?" Belldandy said in a slight whisper not trying to disturb Raze.

"No..." Setsugie answered looking around, "Well keep your secrets, I'm going back." Belldandy said as she disappeared into the blade. Setsugie stood up and sat on the bed next to Raze, "I see your back, I hope everything went alright; and have you noticed anything strange when you arrived?" Setsugie said, the feeling was nagging at him to much. Setsugie could feel it, "I sense something strange within the base." Setsugie then added.

Rin's eyes flashed to Len as her power quickly pinned him to the wall, crushing him. It was becoming too much and she didn't have control anymore. Soon, all she could see was gold and someone else took over. A smirk made its way to her face as he looked at the two captives he had. One human and the other a Vampire. His eyebrow furrowed as he quickly tightened his grasp on them and throwing them to the ground, knocking the air out of them. He didn't care at all who they were. They didn't matter to him one bit. All he cared was that he was stronger than them.
"Now, who are you Vampire." Kuro asked, using her body as his own. It was only fair. She used their powers so he could take whatever he wanted from her. His eyes narrowed as he looked at Len.

Kuro quickly dodged as his golden power disappeared from "The Vampire" and he took a couple steps back. Suddenly, he felt his shadow pin him to the wall and he quickly tried to get free. He almost destroyed the shadow but then felt a sword brushing his neck and a dagger right by his heart. He quickly looked at "The Vampire" as his eyes narrowed.
"Let me go damn it-!!" He quickly closed his eye tightly as he felt Rin fighting back again. He already started to feel him loosing control over the body.

Biting her lip slightly as she opened her eyes, she almost moved but then felt the knife and sword. She looked up at Len as she tried to apologize. She wanted to, but she didn't have full control yet. She started to feel herself slide down the wall and felt herself get slightly cut on the neck. She couldn't keep herself up anymore. It all hurt too much from "Kuro" taking over...

Rin didn't fuss when he picked her up. She had no power to.
"Kuro Hakai...." She thought to herself. He was the one who took her over. He was her source of power too. As soon as Len set her down, she tried to say thanks but she still couldn't get herself to say anything. She was too weak right now. She tried to say thanks another time but her mouth still wasn't working. While laying on the bed, she immediately felt her eyes starting to flutter closed. Usually, she wouldn't dare sleep in the same room as a Vampire but she was way too tired.

((OOC: God, I have a lot to catch up on. Cut me some slack here, but I'm going to back-track to when Kuro was strangling me alright?))

Dimitri felt something sieze him and began to strangle him. He couldn't even cry out at this sudden attack. Whatever had him kept his voice from escaping as Rin spoke.

Wait, he thought, was that Rin? He had always known her of being sweet, kind, and charming. This...this was different. It was as if someone else was in there, someone else was controlling her and taking over.

"I am the Destroyer..."

He suddenly remembered those words andrealized what was happening here. The Destroyer had taken over. It had taken over Rin as if triggering a defense mechanism and now it was coming for him...and Len.

Dimitri didn't even realize that the vampire was there until Len spoke. Len was thinking the same thing that he was: That's not Rin in there. He watched, still concealed, as Len broke free and managed to bring Rin back around again. She collapsed and Len carried her somewhere...probably to the infirmary, he decided. Willow would report what happened there later.

He now realized that he still had his concealed form on, still draining his energy. He de-cloaked himself the moment the coast was clear. He contemplated what he had just been through while he rested.

Was that really The Destroyer controlling Rin? If so, was that what she was like when she destroyed half of Utoko? He now knew she couldn't fight this alone. But that was why the Chikyuu no Mirai was helping her, right? He now realized why the Shikaku was after her and now he despised them more than ever. Now, he wanted to help Rin just as much as Len, Raze, and the others did.

Cloaking himself again, he turned around and headed to where Rin and Len went off to. He just hoped that Willow was having a better time than he was.

Willow, still in flea form, drew a sharp breath as he felt the vampire become suspicious of a prescence in the room. Please don't let me be discovered, she thought. She drew a sigh of relief when he found another being, resting. Suddenly, swords materialized and words were exchanged. Is this what the modern world was like? she thought.

Soon, the man resting there before left and it was just the vampire resting. Suddenly, a girl, partially elven, and another vampire entered the infirmary. Man, she thought, people are always entering the infirmary, aren't they?

She waited for Dimitri to enter the room, she could feel the prescence of other people. She was in flea form. She could feel the prescence of human blood. He didn't enter the room, so she focused on the three in the room.

It looked like there had been a tussel. The girl was weak, she could feel. But there was something else there...something extremely powerful. She growled in her head at the being. The two vampires began talking. She haped that the one who walked in here first would spill the beans on where he was so she could be done with this and leave, but he didn't. She did discover, however, that he was stabbed. At least that's something, she thought as she felt Dimitri's prescence, just outside the infirmary,listening in to the conversation.

"I'm going to help the others! You were too lazy to help so I decided to come in your place!... I tried to get you up but all you did was rollover..." She said as she walked around him and continued walking. There was a twisted power up ahead and there was a part of her that just wanted to find it. She didn't quite understand though. She never really looked for danger before. She felt the thing that was looking for this wasn't exactly herself... More like the thing that took her over earlier. Sadly, the power seemed too interesting to turn away from. Or at least, that's what Kuro thought.

"The door was a..... Mistake..." She mumbled as she continued on. The thought of a fight was nice in Kuro's mind.

" I dont think you're supposed to be out of the base, especially when there's some sort of twisted power source around, just go back." He said hoping she would listen.

She continued on at a slightly faster pace.
"He has a point..." She thought to herself as she got herself to stop for half a second before she continued on. Kuro didn't want to give this up. He wanted a real fight.

Rin froze in her steps. The Demonic was leaving. Kuro gave a slight sigh as he got rid of his control on her. Rin blinked a couple of times as her eyes lost that golden hue and she quickly turned around to see Len messing with his wound.
"Here, I got it..." She muttered as she started to heal it.
"It's my fault you have that anyway..."

Rin heard someone behind her and she whipped around and looked at this blueish haired guy behind her.

"Hey could you tell me something, I'm looking for the Chikyuu no Mirai but I'm knew around these parts could you point me out to the base?" Zero said in a normal tone, not his monotone voice.

Rin looked sideways at Raze, unsure if she should talk to him or not and if she should say that information. Suddenly, she felt a slight pain in her head as she looked back to Zero. This was the guy Kuro was looking for. Her eyes narrowed at Zero. She didn't know how long she could keep Kuro at bay but all she knew was that she had to get away.
"Hey, uh, I gotta go... See yah!" She yelled back as she started running and rounded behind a building. She knew she wouldn't make it to the base with Kuro trying to gain control. She would just have to wait here and calm down.

Rin took awhile to notice she was holding Dimitri's hand and when she sensed someone else in the base, her grip tightened. She didn't like the thought of someone that Setsugie was cautious of. She hated to admit it, but she was slightly afraid. Upon noticing they were getting close, she quickly let go of his hand. It was nice to be close to a friend for support but she knew someone would take it the wrong way.

"Hey boss what happened here?" Setsugie said in serious and empty tone as he looked at Len. "I was wondering why I smelled blood." Setsugie said looking at the new girl with his empty and sad blue and yellow eyes.

"In the middle of trying to escape the clutches of a vampire I stumbled and got a bit messed up.", she said calmly back as she reached to the back of her kimono and pulled the half empty bottle of sake out of her Obi to take a swig. "Don't get me wrong. I wasn't expecting a welcoming party or anything, but is there at least a medic here?", she asked with a smile.

"Uwahh.....we should help her..." the Chidori insisted lightly, looking towards Len since he was the superior at the moment.

"We will Chidori.." Len reassured Chidori. "Well, Miss. Kaiyo. If you would kindly follow us to the infirmary, we can get you patched up." Len said in a friendly tone.
He turned around and started walking while signalling for them to follow. "So, tell me about how you managed to escape the vampire that attacked you."

Rin glanced from Setsugie, to Len, to Chidori, and then to the mystery woman. She then glanced back to Len and followed him. She knew that everyone was suppressing their powers, but Rin didn't really know how to do that. All she knew was that she was trying really hard (Which didn't matter because it didn't work either way.). She stayed close to Setsugie the whole time like he said while also keeping the same distance to Len and Raze. She had to keep the same distance. If this lady somehow figured out that she was the destroyer, then she would know she'd be keeping close to the leader, which in this case, was Len.

"Let's just say, they're not the sharpest knife in the drawer.. Know what I mean?", Kaiyo said happily, tapping her head with her index finger. Suddenly, she turned her head and flashed a smile at Rin. "Actually, forget the medical attention. All I really need is some rest and I'll be on my way.", she said, stretching her arms forward. "You seem to be the leader.", she said to Len. "Would it be too much of a trouble for me to simply spend the night?", she asked coyly.

Rin smiled back as best as she could but she knew she was freaking out inside. A voice in her mind was making the situation worse by giving horrible ideas like 'What if she's the leader of the Shikaku', which she immediately dismissed for the reason of being obvious bull shit. She also just specified the voice as her freaking out instead of her power's sense of people, which it seemed, to her, that she would never master it.

((OOC: Sorry for all the copying and pasting guys. Trying to sum it up with many big points))

Setsugie only took a few steps back to prevent getting involved with only one target 'Len and Dimitri can take care of it.' he thought. Though then it was revealed that the woman was the new leader of the Shikaku her energy was nor good nor evil she was human just like Setsugie, 'The previous has been killed...' Setsugie thought. Lance then appeared running his mouth off saying quite a few things, it was quite obvious that it wasn't the first time Dimitri infiltrated the base he was very good in stealth. Then Rin lost control and pummeled Lance after the "negotiations" took a turn for the worst, he was still with life though that was good at least, but Rin wasn't herself she has been taken over by the power of the destroyer.

Setsugie sighed he couldn't stay still anymore the new leader and Lance weren't a problem but Rin losing control could mean world destruction and Setsugie couldn't have that. Setsugie took out a pocky and placed it on his mouth and ran his hand through his white hair pulling it from his face, then he fix his tuxedo a bit. Then raising his left hand a katana appears on it as he grabs it as he and Belldandy unsuppress their energy then in a single swift movement Setsugie raises his blade upwards as energy gathers on the tip of the blade then swings his it downwards "Teikoku Setsudan(Imperial Cut)" he say's, then the compressed energy is released in a giant downwards shock-wave destroying a great part of the Chikyuu no Mirai base entrance and sending the others flying, Setsugie only did this to level the playing field fighting inside where there are wall and a roof restrains a swordsman too much. Setsugie's blade then cracks and shatters into metallic stardust. 'Don't over do it Setsugie I was barely able to keep the others safe from the shock wave.' Belldandy said within Setsugies mind, "Their strong enough to shake this off." Setsugie said and looked in the direction of the Shikaku's new leader.

Zero only watched from a afar seeing everything unfold, surprisingly enough the new leader was a skill fighter Zero wouldn't mind following her others for know. A slight chuckle came from Zero seeing Lance get pummeled into the ground by the destroyer "Serve's him right." he said. Then he looked inside resuming what he was watching, then saw the Leader of the Chikyuu no Mirai make his move, feeling his unsuppressed energy made it clear he was joining the fight. Zero was blown away by the shock-wave, then he pushed a few chunks of rock of himself from the rubble and remains of the Chikyuu no mirai base entrance. He stood up seeing Setsugie still standing "Powerful, so this is the power of the "Strongest Human"?" Zero said and grinned with excitement waiting to see if he wasn't the only one to be unharmed.

Dimitri was blown back, as Setsugie let loose a blow to the earth, destroying a large part of the Chikyuu no Mirai entrance. He hit the wall, somewhat dazed, but shook his head and got up again. He drew his throwing knives, just in case self defense was necesary. He didn't plan on throwing them, unless Lance or Kaiyo charged at him. He was just only planning on parrying Rin's...er, the Destroyer's strokes until she could regain control. Besides, he was pretty sure Lance was out of gameplay for now. He smiled at Lance's good pounding. Rain was leaking through the openings created in the roof by Setsugie as he watched Rin approach the group.

Willow bared her teeth before a sudden gust of wind shot her back into the wall, knocking her out...

Lance was, luckily, far enough away to where he wasn't blown back by the force of Setsugie's strike. He watched Dimitri fall back, but get up again, drawing knives. His animal companion, on the other hand, was out cold. Something told him that this fight was going to be between Setsugie and Rin, with possible Dimitri intervention. Sighing at his pain, he reached into his rain coat and pulled out a bottle of healing potion. He knew that he only had one of these, but he knew he needed to drink it now. He knew the pain was going to be immense, for he had dranken a couple before. But it would heal him within a few minutes, getting him back into the fight. And once he did, he was going after Dimitri with his newfound revenge and hatred...

Just the thought of killing his brother once and for all gave him new life as he drank the potion, smashing the bottle on the ground and feeling the burning sensation that was emerging in his chest and spreading to the rest of his body...

Kuro let his powers grab the knives and as soon as the girl came close, it grabbed her up too. His smile widening, he started to slowly crush her. He always liked it this way because he could always hear their screams for awhile before they died.

Suddenly, a big blast caught Kuro's attention. Letting Kaiyo float in mid-air, he turned his attention to the leader. Smirking as he ran forward, he quickly blew the other leader off his feet and into Dimitri. Right now, he was only messing with them though. It was always fun to play a bit before killing.

Dimitri saw Setsugie fly backwards in his direction. He reacted instantly, sliding underneath the flying body of the Chikyuu no Mirai leader, not looking back to how he landed, but was now focused on The Destroyer. Still holding the knives, he reached inside himself and manifested a little of power as his inner fire rang out. When he held up his hands again, the knives were lit aflame with purple fre...or Devil's Fire, as he called it. Not only was it hotter than normal fire, leaving some nasty burns, but one scratch from the fire-lit blade and he could access her mind and take control, like manipulation or silkspeech. It wasn't his favored method of stopping a villain, but under these circumstances, it was his only hope...

Lance was now doubled over in agony as the healing potion took effect. It felt like his entire body was on fire...no, wait...made of lava. It was nearly unbearable and he was repeatedly banging on the bench he was sitting on, wishing the pain would recede. He thought of revenge...revenge against his brother for all the misery he caused, revenge against the Destroyer for making him endure this in the first place, revenge against Kaiyo for taking the job he respectively deserved. He began giggling, a soft silent chuckle at first, then the laughter grew louder, evil, sinister. He smiled through the pain clearly visible along his gritted teeth as his knuckles turned white. But his mental state wouldn't waver. Revenge...REVENGE...REVENGE!!! he continuously chanted in his head as he started to notice the pain going down. He was going to be back in this soon...

Setsugie was swept of his feet as an invisible force blasted him backwards, he did a backspin and fell to the ground on his feet and took a step forward. Considering it's Rin's powers going haywire Setsugie had to reply with equal force if not there will be casualty's Setsugie activated his Dog magic spell gaining dog ears and a dog tail augmenting his hearing and smelling senses, he took a deep breath memorizing the smells in the area and walked forward to Rin; "Sword Graveyard." Setsugie said as a very large number of katana's appear stuck to the ground and/or any surface, then he grabs on katana with his right hand, "I am sorry for what I am about to do Rin Hayashi... Please bare with it." Setsugie says.

Zero smirked, 'It's my turn to make an appearance.' he thought taking out two Baishin daggers(the double ones) on his left hand and one Empty skies(the one with three blades) on his right hand. "I have a score to settle with Setsugie but the Destroyer seems a problem also, either way I kill them both.' Zero thought. Seeing katanas appear in the area wasn't much of a surprise, Zero then dashed towards Setsugie slashing him with empty skies, Setsugie clashes his blade with Zero's as a small shock-wave liberates from the clashing "Long time no see Setsugie, I told you I would kill you next time I saw you!!" Zero says liberating his Killing intent to its maximum though Setsugie being a war veteran isn't fazed by this childish attack. All the while the Azure Grimoire appears and materializes in front of Rin throwing a horizontal slash to cut her in half.

"I am sorry for what I am about to do Rin Hayashi... Please bare with it." Setsugie said as he got his swords ready. Kuro only smiled at his attempt to get through to her. Suddenly, a guy appeared and made a childish attack on Setsugie with he chuckled at slightly.

Suddenly, an image appeared and was about to attack her. He quickly held up his hand and a deafening clash could be heard as he kept the guard up.

Surprisingly, Kuro felt some of his power faze away and he looked at the little girl who seemed to be the cause of it. She just looked a bit tired... that was until she noticed the crack in her saki bottle which seemed to make her pissed. Kuro smirked in response as she looked up at him.

"Hey, Rinny." She said and his eyebrow suddenly twitched. How peculiar. This girl he took the body from seemed to actually be able to hear and it seems anger breaks her out. "Ran outta juice boxes, huh? Do you wanna hug?" The girl said and he just scoffed at her attempt. Suddenly, he felt himself running towards her against his control. How the hell could a girl get so mad from an attempt like that!? Was she idiotic or was she just born with this hatred!? He quickly made a barrier in front of him which he was able to stop himself before coming to it. Good. It seemed the girl came back to her senses and he had control again.
