The original Sohmas had all grown old, glad that they had lifted the curse so that the next generation of Sohmas would not have troubles with hugging the opposite gender. Indeed, the next generation did not change in the zodiacs but what they didn't know was that the curse had only been sealed away. The seal was weakening fast and soon after the second generation had all seatled down with a family, their children of the third generation had all changed at birth when their mother or father had picked them up. The seal was very weak and so the new generation is trying their best to find a way to break the seal and really banish the curse out of their lives. Will it work or not, it's all up to you.
Chapter One: Meet the family
¤ Legend ¤
This story begins when the Jade Emperor of the Heavens decided to celebrate his birthday. He invited thirteen animals, each with their unique personality. Whoever was first to the party the emperor held would get to be first in the zodiac. Because of this event the mouse and his good friend, the cat, trick the gullible and kind-hearted ox to bring them across the river. Yet just before they arrived at the shore, the mouse pushed the cat into the water, therefore eliminating his last opponent to get first. Jumping off the ox and ran to the party first, winning first place.
Then came the ox in second place, and then the powerful tiger. Fourth place was granted to the creative rabbit, which was jumping on floating logs in the river to get to the other side. The considerate and kind-hearted dragon, which can both fly and swim across to the other side. The reason for the dragon not being first was because he stopped to help stop a drought; and when he saw the rabbit clinging on to the log, that was stuck in the river, for his dear life the dragon gave a windy huff and blew the rabbit to shore before himself.
Next came the horse that came after the snake. The snakes had slither between the horse’s legs and startle him, so that the snake got sixth place and the horse seventh place. The next three animals included in the zodiac worked as a team. The sheep, monkey, and the rooster were those three animals. The sheep and monkey row the threesome to shore, they used a raft the rooster spotted. The eighth animal became the sheep, the monkey was granted ninth place, and then came the rooster in tenth.
After awhile the dog had finally reached the shore. He have taken longer than he have, since he can swim. The dog came in late because he stopped to take a bath, afraid to pollute the clean water in the river with his muddy body.
As the emperor was about to dismiss the eleven animals, a squeal was heard. The emperor was surprise to see that the pig has made it across. According to the pig he would have been there sooner had he not stop to take a rest. The emperor laughed as he made the pig the last and twelfth animal in the Chinese zodiac.
The poor cat though was not allowed in for therewas no more spots left for him. It became vengeful of the rat, claiming that when the time called for it, thecat would kill the rat and take the place of it.

Minto looked out the window of the Sohma estate. Her hair hair blew in her face, as black feathers moved around her, and a bodyof a dead bird laid on her lap, she heard aknock at the door, and heard a newmaid walk in, she had not figured out not to walk into the room without premission yet, but that didn't matter to the head of the family, she ran things over anyone in the Shoma estate. Minto stood up slowly letting the bird drop to the floor, her frilly light blue dress fell above her knee, Minto turned to look at the girl who was cleaning up the feathers from the floor, not even noticing that Minto was close to her, but she did, when the "God" grabbed the maid by the hair and threw her down on the ground "How dare you filthy little prick, even come in her without my premission and touch my feather, get the hell out of here, before I hurt you more" She said kicking the girl in the stomach and started to walk out of her room, letting the maid cough up blood "You better clean up you disgusting blood, before you leave" Minto said slamming the door shut, and walked down the hall ignoring the other maids that tried to talk to her. Minto wasn't in the best ofmoods she needed to be babied again, she has felt neglated of her childhood, and only felt it by her "mother" thehead of the maids "Shiaro!!" Minto called out walking into a room to see an older maid doing some paper work "Konnichiwa Minto-Sama" the Maid said.

Kat was walking around the Minto's house, determined to find her black cat, Shadow. Minto had asked to meet the human, so she came and Shadow ran off somwere. She was compleatly unaware that the kitten was following her. Koari had taken her in a mounth ago, and she had just gotten used to the peaple here. Her golden blonde hair fell in her face as she searched. Kat looked up when she heard Minto yell. Her cats hissed and she growled slightly. Kaori woke up slightly and looked at Minto, then Kat. Kat slowly peaked into Minto's room, and looked at the maid. She fell to her knees next to her and asked her softly, "Are you alright?" Kaori hissed and motioned for her to get out of her room, although Kat didn't move at all.

Raiyen sighed as he heard Minto yelling down the hall. "Ā ni kuru! Your always yelling Minto." he growled as his hand reached for the door. Before exiting, his reflection appeared in the mirror to the left of the door. Quickly Raiyen made a few final touches to the nearly perfect, semi-long spiked mess of black hair. After his hair met personal standards he fixed his deep red shirt with the split at the collar down to mid chest, and short sleeves, and then folded the bottoms of his too-long black pants. He was wearing sandals today, so no worries there. With a quick glance to his forest green eyes and a nod he spoke softly. "Live life, don't hold back." Raiyen never understood why he did this, his confidence seems fine, but maybe that was why. He reached for the knob and gave it a twist and a yank upwards to open the door, then quietly stepped into the hall with a look in both directions, in hopes of not seeing Minto. Raiyen breathed out with relief as Minto had already gone passed. The maids looked a tad distraught, but he never really gave the "help" much attention. As he walked down the hall he smiled when the cat came into view. "Here Kitty Kitty." he said with a few snaps of his fingers.

Shadow walked over to him, sniffed him, then pounced her owner. Kat smiled at her cat. Kaori was wildly motioning for Kat to get out of Minto's room, NOW. Kat didn't seem to notice as she tried to help the maid. Kat's white kitten padded hapily over to Raiyen and rubber her head against his hand. Koari groaned, seeing Kat wasn't responding to her. "get her out of there!" She hissed at Raiyen

Luca was fast asleep, counting sheep in her dreams, when she was jolted awake by the sound of Minto yelling. The timid sheep groaned and sat up, taking out her high bun to let the blonde curls flow down. She slipped out of her long nightgown and into a white button-down shirt and blue skirt with little black shoes. After cleaning herself up and pulling her hair back into a bun, Luca slipped out of her room and took a breath. Unfortunately, she had to pass the office Minto was standing in front of. Well, better get it over with. Minto would definately have something to say to her about being too quiet for a god. With a breath, the shy little sheep quietly walked down the hall and tried to pass by the godess without looking at her.

Minto groaned softly and walked over to the head maid ignoring the lowlife animals she allowed to live in her house. Minto sighed and sat in the maids lap like a motherless child. The maid smiled for a moment and then went back to continued some paper work "Why are the animals so useless around here...speaking of useless creatures, that thing is coming here today" Minto warned, referring to her real mother, Ai Sohma. Minto stood up and walked over to a cabinet that contained a red velvet box, with gold zodiac creatures flying up to the grand feast, she learned along time ago that the box was empty, but it was the only thing that really kept her calm "She is coming for this again, she won't have it, Shiaro, I will kill herbefore she does that" Minto said with a small growl and then walked out and headed back to her room to see a girl and Raiyen by her room "Hello" Minto said with a small smile on her face, and held her hand up to the girl heh I won't have to worry about this outsider, she might have to be more afraid of meshe thought to herself "Please you must be, Kat-chan, I am Minto-Sama" Minto finished politely.

Masa was walking around as he heard the commotion and went to see if any one was hurt, while some what hoping that it Minto was a little hurt. as he walked into Minto's room to see Kat, Koari, Reiyen, & and a maid laying on the floor with blood on her lip. Masa walked up to the maid as he grabbed the sheet off Minto bed to wipe the blood of her lip then for the floor, as he offered her a hand up and told her to take the rest of the day off. hen after dismissing the maid Masa turns to Minto and says "the your cruelty know no end."

Looking down at the white cat with a smile, and then up to Koari who was telling him to basically put his life in danger for an outsider. "Your kidding right?" He laughed playfully and walked over to Minto's opened door. To late, the sound of footsteps in Minto's walking pattern had already came into distance. "Um Kat, your kinda dead now." he whispered toward the girl next to the obviously pained maid. Raiyen rolled his eyes but smiled at Minto. Suddenly out of no where Masa arrive. Raiyen leaned his back against the door frame, obviously unafraid of the "on coming danger." With a sigh he watched Masa walk in and help the new maid. Honestly Raiyen seemed to get a high when he watched conflict in the making. After Minto's greeting and Masa's question on cruelty Raiyen glanced at his sister (OOC: I can change if you wish Moonfox1) IC: and calming said "Would you like some tea, your nerves seem wound a bit." He waited for the reply as he leaned against the door frame with his left foot crooked back and his right outstretched for balance. His right hand was hanging from his pocket, while the left was hanging loosely.

Minto glared at Masa for a moment and then calmed down a little "This is my house, I will say who takes the day off, you all are just filthy animals, I don'tknow what happened to Akito that made her turn so good with having you stay here, and I don't know why my father loved you or my damn mother so much, but I do know that I need to keep all of you animals in your place, if it wasn't for me you wouldn't know what to do" Minto said, grabbing the sheet and pulling the maid back to the ground "Stay!" Minto commanded with a devilish smirk on her face "I don't care about, if you animals love me or not, because I surely hate you and the true god that created you and I but-" Minto was cut off, "Minto-sama tea is done" Shiaro said not wanting to hear anymore yelling today at the moment. Minto looked over to the maid she knew to be more of a mother then her own "Yes coming"She said with a happy smile again, as if she had switched persoanlities just like that. Minto looked at the door frame and rolledher eyes to see the Ox "goody, would you all like to join us for tea?" Shiaro suggested.

Hikari woke up from a leaf falling on his nose, he sat up, stretching his arms, "I fell asleep up here?!" he exclaimed to himself, rather suprised that he hadn't fell off the roof. After he was sure he had woken he jumped down, landing rather gracefully on all fours. "I wonder what everyone is up to today!" he stated rather cheerfully, "Maybe Minto-sama will finally let me hug her!" he said with a childish smile, running for the front door of the Sohma estate, He calmy walked through the hallways, his green eyes scanning around for anyone he knew, then he saw a maid walk into Minto's room, "Hey Minto-sama's still here!" he said in rejoice, making his way over, his blonde hair waved from the wind he created, coming to a hault when he realized there was an outsider there also. His green eyes weren't happy anymore, his expression was grave. He knocked on the door To the room Minto was residing in, "M-Minto-sama...? I seem to have lost my newest friend, have you found her?" He said with a cheery voice, his face returning to a calm, laid back expression. His tone childish and young as ever.

Haruhi entered the Sohma estate curiously, the door was open, that was odd, but Haruhi knew she was also quite odd herself. She knocked on the front door, waiting for an answer, after recieving none, she removed her shoes and invited herself in, "Oii... Oii...." she said curiously, "My dad wanted me to ask if you guys needed any Tomatoes, he grew too many and he's got an extra two crates full in his truck." she said, she was wearing a baggy black hoodie, her hair was messy in a pleasant way and her jeans wear ripped at the knees, but were the kind either gender could wear. She kept exploring the hallways, getting a little creeped out since she heard voices earlier, but recieved no answer, yet. Wait she was overreacting! She hadn't given them time, the clock in her head must be running fast again.
((OOC: I really didn't know how to introduce her in, other than have her stumble in out of her curiousity in the Sohma family x3 I tried to summarize to catch up to the final post Raike, thanks for the bail out though! :) ))

Luca smiled at Masahiko. "G-Good morning..." Her voice was soft, almost a whisper. She kept following the other Sohmas and giggled at Minto. "Minto-sama, your hair looks so pretty today..." The sheep tried to lighten the mood.

Hugging Hikari back with his right arm he smiled "I swear your gonna hug a crazy man one day." Not knowing if he was heard or not h shrugged, but laughed as heard the boy say something about a play toy. "I would hope so Hikari. We always need more toys." For the first time he noticed the quiet Luca, and with a soft tone he spoke "Good morning Luca, I didn't see you there. You should wear your hair down sometime, its to nice to hide away." He winked playfully at Luca before turning over to Kat. "Hey, we got any plans today?" Honestly Raiyen was dying for something to do, maybe they could risk a prank on Minto..No to many fatalities, he kept his mouth shut and waited for a reply.

It was just a few months ago, Lisette found out about her curse. Her parents had been shielding her difference away from her, and now, she found out exactly why she was different. Lisette felt awkward, leaning against the frame. She had no idea where to go or go and about to introduce herself. Right in the moment, she saw Minto's furious and ominous eyes pin upon her. Disrespectfully, she rolled them, and her maid seemed to ask if she would prefer some tea. Of course, Shiaro didn't directly ask her, she asked the rest of her relatives there if they would like some. Or at least, it felt that way to her. Lisette turned her head slightly, as if she didn't notice it. The family didn't care about her anyway. “I need some fresh air...” She mumbled to herself, which was meant to become a thought. Kat looked at Raiyen. "Well, right now i have to go feed Lady." she told him. Lady was her half-wolf, although she told peaple that she didn't know she was just a dog. Lady stayed outside, beacuase she hated the indoors. Kat's cats squirmed on her shoulders slightly. "Then i think i'm going to go see how much trouble i can get in while i'm in the woods with Lady. You can come if you want." Lady was sitting at the front door, waiting for Kat.

Hikari laughed as he shrugged Raiyen's comment, "Well it's not like I get to hug many girls. Masa got away without a huuuug!!!!" he pouted, his voice high pitched and whiney. He listened a bit, "A toy would be amazing right now! I haven't changed in a long time.. I kinda forgot what it's like." Hikari sighed in disappointment, as if he liked turning into a rabbit when he hugged girls.
"Oh Luca-chan!" Hikari said happily, moving from Raiyen to Luca, his arms wrapping around her without warning, "Raiyen's right! While barely paying attion, Masahiko continued to walk down the hall unaware that he was going to 'bump' into the unespeaked house guest sooner then he planed. Thump! Masahiko ackatly bumped into Haruhi and poof he was transformed into a dog right there in front of her.

After being released from Hikari, he ran to catch up with Kat. Raiyen liked the way lady looked, but he never got near her. He doesn't know why, it just never occurred to him that Lady might like him. "So how old is Lady now?" he asked as he walked next to Kat, keeping a half a foot distance behind her. This wasn't for any reason but self protection. Girls tend to be unpredictable, and he really didn't feel like being a monkey right now. As he walked, Raiyen turned his head back "Luca, you coming?" With a quick innocent smile, he turned forward and headed for the door.

Alas! Lisette finally sighted the exit while standing behind the beige shoji panels. Her face filled itself with glee and she paced to the light. It seemed as so that...they're was a boy standing there. Another relative? Quickly, Lisette moved out of the open so she could not be spotted. Lisette than squinted harder. Closer to the boy was a pile of clothes, and what looked to be a dog. “Great.” She whispered, almost silently to herself. “Just what I needed, more family drama.” She sighed, and had no choice but to look for another exit.
Attempting to move her legs, she heard what sounded like a booming creak in the floorboards. Shockingly, she refused to move her body. “I can't possibly try to move now...they'll see me. And with this noise, there's no chance. I'm just going to have to stay here...” She slowly crouched her body tightly together, hugging her knees, hoping no one would find her. “So much for fresh air...” She thought in desperation.

Hmm that could work I guess if they're brothers, but would his parental history work with your characters?
here's what I put for his relationship with his parents.
Bio: His mother and father claim to have never had a son. Both of his parents having shunned him for being so carefree and laidback about the curse and his involvement. Hikari has a part time job and is a senior in highschool. He has a few scars, but every time someone asks about them, he politely makes an excuse to get away from them, not wantking to admit his father is the one who placed the marks on him.
Also, they would be odd brothers XD I doubt the parents would be able to sleep at night, "H-h-homo...? SEPARATE ROOMS!" XD

Really you can't go back a page? Hmm. Well after you disapeared for tea, we all became clumzy klutz! But ya, nothing really overly important. I told Luca to wear her hair down, Hikari turned into a bunny, Kat split her leg open, Someone turned into a dog, and tried to play a prank on a girl who walked in, but changed back to soon. Thats about it. Also I took up the role of the made Minto beat up, so far she just cleaned up in the bathroom and looked at a pretty red ruby ring she stole.

Lol, Ikuto. I just realized we both have green eyes. I'm trying to get this family tree thing figured out so that I'm not calling a 3rd cousin my sister or something. :P We should be brothers haha. Just imagine what the parents were like with 2 homosexual kids? But with how Raiyen is, hes much less pronounced, like the profile says.

Well you don't need to worry about her getting killed since it's againts the rules to kill.

Hey, MoonFox, or anyone. (Don't want to sound newbish, but..) How exactly are all the Sohmas related? Are we Siblings, Cousins, a mix? Could we get a family tree outlined or something? (Also, I haven't read the manga, so this is probably where my not knowing is coming from.)

Hey people Minto(Moonfox1) here to tell you that if anyone wants to makemore characters I don't mind, itwould be cool if minto has conflict with the characters, considering that she is the one that causes most of the problems....even though she is never really there to physically cause it.
