The original Sohmas had all grown old, glad that they had lifted the curse so that the next generation of Sohmas would not have troubles with hugging the opposite gender. Indeed, the next generation did not change in the zodiacs but what they didn't know was that the curse had only been sealed away. The seal was weakening fast and soon after the second generation had all seatled down with a family, their children of the third generation had all changed at birth when their mother or father had picked them up. The seal was very weak and so the new generation is trying their best to find a way to break the seal and really banish the curse out of their lives. Will it work or not, it's all up to you.
Chapter One: Meet the family

This story begins when the Jade Emperor of the Heavens decided to celebrate his birthday. He invited thirteen animals, each with their unique personality. Whoever was first to the party the emperor held would get to be first in the zodiac. Because of this event the mouse and his good friend, the cat, trick the gullible and kind-hearted ox to bring them across the river. Yet just before they arrived at the shore, the mouse pushed the cat into the water, therefore eliminating his last opponent to get first. Jumping off the ox and ran to the party first, winning first place.
Then came the ox in second place, and then the powerful tiger. Fourth place was granted to the creative rabbit, which was jumping on floating logs in the river to get to the other side. The considerate and kind-hearted dragon, which can both fly and swim across to the other side. The reason for the dragon not being first was because he stopped to help stop a drought; and when he saw the rabbit clinging on to the log, that was stuck in the river, for his dear life the dragon gave a windy huff and blew the rabbit to shore before himself.
Next came the horse that came after the snake. The snakes had slither between the horse’s legs and startle him, so that the snake got sixth place and the horse seventh place. The next three animals included in the zodiac worked as a team. The sheep, monkey, and the rooster were those three animals. The sheep and monkey row the threesome to shore, they used a raft the rooster spotted. The eighth animal became the sheep, the monkey was granted ninth place, and then came the rooster in tenth.
After awhile the dog had finally reached the shore. He have taken longer than he have, since he can swim. The dog came in late because he stopped to take a bath, afraid to pollute the clean water in the river with his muddy body.
As the emperor was about to dismiss the eleven animals, a squeal was heard. The emperor was surprise to see that the pig has made it across. According to the pig he would have been there sooner had he not stop to take a rest. The emperor laughed as he made the pig the last and twelfth animal in the Chinese zodiac.
The poor cat though was not allowed in for therewas no more spots left for him. It became vengeful of the rat, claiming that when the time called for it, thecat would kill the rat and take the place of it.

Hikari nodded and gave Luca a thimbs up, "I agree, I told you it would be cute, and I meant it." the blonde said to her sincerely. Hikari also blushed "M-masa-sama!" he said covering his eyes, and Luca's. "You're going to destroy virgin eyes of many japanese children." he said pretending to be stern.
Once again, without thinking Hikari rushed after Luca to Kat's rescue, almost falling flat on his face over a tree root, but he swiftly jumped over it, "K-Kat-san are you alright? Where is Raiyen-kun?" Hikari asked, trying to help Luca, budging the wood a little. "G-geez Kat, do you not know your own strength?" the boy asked, one eye closed as he tried to force the wood further up. It was slowly budging, but the boy never really focused much on his physical strength, he took in a deep breath, then yelled at the top of his lungs, "OOOOII RAIYEN!!" his voice sounding a bit deeper and masculine when he was paniced oddly.

Haruhi just laughed a bit at Masahiko, pretending to be scared, "A demon in the form of Masa-chii? Why would a demon take the time to dress that complicated?" she asked skeptically, then a blush instantly planted on her face, before she turned around instantly, keeping her back to him. Not screaming, fainting or calling him a monster, even though it was obviously the first time she seen a Sohma change, "Get Dressed Masa-chii." she said wiping her eye with a laugh her, a comical tear spread across her finger. Her other hand was holding out his clothes to him, doing her best to not look at him.

Masahiko over hearing Kat's screaming runs out, ignoring the fact that he was naked, to help. Now seeing that Kat was stuck by wood digging into her leg he comes up with a plan. Grabbing another piece of wood he uses hi kendo skills to do a quick and deceive blow to break the wood that was stuck in her from the rest of the bench.

Kat's eyes were closed. She flinched when she felt the wood moving. "Sorry i slways get hurt like this." she whispered softly. Lady whimpered slightly. Kat's head fell back as she passed out. her cats padded over to her to see what was wrong.

(Luca, how did you know she was outside hurt? You and Hikari went the complete opposite direction, and Raiyen just came in to get ointment, and kinda blew her off, not actually seeing what was wrong)
Remembering what he came inside for, Raiyen strolled over to the kitchen to receive the first aid kit. He doesn't know much about the stuff inside, as he has luck with healing, and not getting hurt to badly. Raiyen turned around and walked back to the main room with some of the family still within the room. He strolled through the room, the kit swinging to an fro with his steps. As the young adult reached the door to the outside, he heard Luca's quiet yell. Being that the yell was his name, he heard it quite well. Raiyen opened the door quickly and actually walked outside to check on things this time. " Kuso! What did you do Kat?" a look of rare worry spread across his face. As he rushed over to Kat, he noticed the smell of the trees, and the crunch of the grass which brought some calmness to his mind. Reaching Kat, Raiyen immediately looked at the blood and grabbed his stomach. He watched as Masa somewhat dislodge the wood. He sighed before moving Masa aside "Here let me finish some of this, I found the first aid kit." Raiyen opened the case and looked at the contents within. "Well hmm, I have no clue what to use. He dug in the box looking for some sort of towel or rag, and found a packet of anti-septic wipes." He winced from a memory. "This might sting a bit." Raiyen began cleaning the blood and the rather large cut. His stomach quenched again and he sighed.

Minto finished her tea and walked back to her room, just in time to hear her mothers voice from the other end of the hall "Hello Minto" Her mother saidin a harsh tone, that was masked with a polite smile "Hello Ai" Minto said equally as harsh as she pushed her hair from her face "What are you doing here, finally want to revert back to being a low-class maid" Minto finshed not caring if it was her mother or not, she always hated hermore then the animals, but never let anyone know that. Ai looked at her daughter for a moment with a grimance from the comment she had just recieved "Watch your tongue you little brat, if it wasn't for me you wouldn'tbe here, I had to carry you for 6 months" She said storming up to her daughter and slapping her across the face, Minto didn't move, nor say a word, as a red hand print showed on her cheek, it wasn't the first time she had this happen to her "Don't forget our bet you little brat, those animals will leave for the outsiders and let you die here alone" Aifinished as a maid showed her out of the household, and others came to make sure Minto was alright

Luca looked at Masahiko. She wouldnt lie, she really liked him. Really liked him. The sheep sighed and looked at Hikari. "Hikaru-San? I haven't seen Minto-sama since she went for her tea...should we check on her?" It was typical for Luca not to make any decisions and ask before doing anything.

Finally done with cleaning off the blood on Kats leg he shook her a bit hoping she would wake. Raiyen looked up to get a breath of fresh air, then stood. He looked at the other and rolled his eyes. "It seems that if one thing goes wrong, the whole world shows up!" He smiled. "Thats ok though, I hate it when the house is empty." He shivered at the thought. Over hearing Luca he looked to Hikari. He interjected before Hikari to speak "I think I saw her in the kitchen, but I didn't bug her. Checking on her might be a good idea though. I think I heard something about Ai coming. You know how they get." Raiyen shook his head towards the ground and sighed.

The sheep nodded at Raiyen and looked a little nervous. She obviously did not want to go alone, and she knew that both Raiyen and Hikari infuriated Minto. Sighing, Luca turned to go and check on Minto, but was obviously nervous by the way she was trembling.

He shook his head, sometimes he wanted to...eh he wasn't strong enough for that. Raiyen would win, hands down. He sighed a bit and turned his attention back to Masahiko, "You got away earlier Masahiko-san. Uhm Can you take care of the boy over there while we go check on Mint-sama?" he asked with puppy dog eyes, seeing as Masa was the dog of the zodiac.. he hoped this would work. Hikari nodded at Luca, "I'll go with you. That's without doubt.." he said slightly protectively, patting her head. He considered her like a little sister. Frail, sweet and innocent, that must be protected. He smiled at her warmly, "Wanna see me hug her?" he asked with a daring smile, mischeif in his green eyes.

Haruhi just raised an eyebrow at Masahiko, "You really expect me to believe that?" she asked in disbelief, "You've barely convinced yourself." she said with a sigh, "Eh I really don't mind, I guess by now you've realized I'm a girl..so I guess we're even." she said with a somewhat curious expression to her features as she tried to weigh the secrets on a scale, then blinked at him, "Mark Antony!" she said pointing at him, trying to hide her laugh behind her hand.

Raiyen: "Cake and tea? Does Minto even like sweet treats? I swear we're all related and I barely know her!" Raiyen rolled his eyes "Ah well, worth a shot." He walked ahead of Hikari and Luca as they neared the door. He stopped on the right side of the door, and opened it smoothly until one of the hinges screeched, which made him wince. "Honestly, I thought a maid would have fixed that by now!" He sighed and yelled into the hall. "Maid! We have a stubborn hinge!" About four moments later the new maid from this morning arrived with an old oil canister.
Trixy Kikome: "Sorry sir, I meant to get that earlier." She bowed her head, and then set forth to oiling the hinge. She looked like she recovered from the kick to the stomach finally.
Raiyen: Looking at the maid, he asked "Excuse me, but what is your name?" He continued holding the door open as she oiled the hinge.
Trixy: "Oh, Its Trixy, Trixy Kikome" She bowed her head once more. "There, finished. Anything else?" She looked at the three Sohmas and waited Patiently.

Tasks like getting the oil for the door were ok, since if Trixy werent there, she would have sent Hikari to get it. "What kinds of cake do we have int he kitchen?"

Kat went back into the house slowly, followed by her cats. She took her hair out of the poneytail she always had it in, and let it fall down to her waist.
She looked at Masa and Haruhi. "Hello." she said to Haruhi softly. Kat hadn't seen her before, so she figured she was human. She scooped up her kittens and pet them softly with a smile as she looked at them.

Not all cakes are to-die-for sweet." he said forming a peace sign with his hands, "Well if you got as bored as I do, you'd bug her a lot more, Hikari said, throwing a piece of paper he found in his pocket a Raiyen, just for the fun of it. He also winced a bit as he heard the screech of the door, "Damn Raiyen, didn't know you were so rusty."

I like boys and girls." he said with a playful wink, barely about to muffle the snicker that begged to free itself from his lips. He answerted with a nervous laugh, Hikari obviously knew the kitchen, he was always in there, his room, hanging out with them, or on the roof.

Hmm that could work I guess if they're brothers, but would his parental history work with your characters?
here's what I put for his relationship with his parents.
Bio: His mother and father claim to have never had a son. Both of his parents having shunned him for being so carefree and laidback about the curse and his involvement. Hikari has a part time job and is a senior in highschool. He has a few scars, but every time someone asks about them, he politely makes an excuse to get away from them, not wantking to admit his father is the one who placed the marks on him.
Also, they would be odd brothers XD I doubt the parents would be able to sleep at night, "H-h-homo...? SEPARATE ROOMS!" XD

Really you can't go back a page? Hmm. Well after you disapeared for tea, we all became clumzy klutz! But ya, nothing really overly important. I told Luca to wear her hair down, Hikari turned into a bunny, Kat split her leg open, Someone turned into a dog, and tried to play a prank on a girl who walked in, but changed back to soon. Thats about it. Also I took up the role of the made Minto beat up, so far she just cleaned up in the bathroom and looked at a pretty red ruby ring she stole.

Lol, Ikuto. I just realized we both have green eyes. I'm trying to get this family tree thing figured out so that I'm not calling a 3rd cousin my sister or something. :P We should be brothers haha. Just imagine what the parents were like with 2 homosexual kids? But with how Raiyen is, hes much less pronounced, like the profile says.

Well you don't need to worry about her getting killed since it's againts the rules to kill.

Hey, MoonFox, or anyone. (Don't want to sound newbish, but..) How exactly are all the Sohmas related? Are we Siblings, Cousins, a mix? Could we get a family tree outlined or something? (Also, I haven't read the manga, so this is probably where my not knowing is coming from.)

Hey people Minto(Moonfox1) here to tell you that if anyone wants to makemore characters I don't mind, itwould be cool if minto has conflict with the characters, considering that she is the one that causes most of the problems....even though she is never really there to physically cause it.
