Sanctuary Prison

Crane picks up the phone.

"This is Inspector David Crane," said Crane.

"Yo, Crane!" greets Sockie. "This is Sockie Lastnamerson, and I'm just chillin' with some of my fellow super-powered fugitives near this old office building in Old Haven. Yep. You should bring lots of men over here if you want to try to arrest us. Maybe some military."

Crane drops the phone. How- who the- why would he-

So many questions, not a one of them with a sensible answer. He turned to a nearby officer, who signaled 'keep talking' - clearly the trace was not complete yet. Crane picked up the phone.

"How do I know this isn't a trap?"

A "Leave this to me" was heard in the background - a somewhat metallic voice - followed by some kind of shot sound.

Crane is confused, turning to the officer tracing the call and mouthing 'the hell?' The officer shrugs and makes the sign for 'nearly there', so Crane stays on the line waiting for Sockie's response.

"You don't, which is why you should bring lots and lots of men!" replies Sockie. "You want to capture us, don't you? You'll never get an opportunity as majestic as this one, my friend!"

Crane flinches. That word choice had to be deliberate. Was Sockie really playing on his determination to uncover Majestic? Or... was he with Majestic? He turned to the officer, who nodded, and simply hung up. He found that crazy people calling the police station like to think they're in control, and hanging up on them rattles them.

"Sending a squad down there now, sir," said the officer.

"How long until we can get military?" asked Crane.

"An hour, if we're lucky," said the officer.

"Better hope we're lucky, then," said Crane, suiting up.
