Hanako Takahasi's Story

The story so far.....

Dalton, a young man who picked up the fabled "Death Note", has begun killing. As a jest, he made up the figure "Kira". His first two victims rambled about "Lord Kira" and how disobeying him would prove fatal.

Now, the world's greatest detectives have been assigned to the case, the main of which being "Commotion." Commotion taunted Kira on a live broadcast all over Japan. Of course, that's why the public was told. Kira had a man taunt the detective before being hit by a bus, which meant that Commotion's plan was successful. The broadcast was actually only sent to Kumomi, Japan. Now the world knows which city Kira resides in.

Inconveniently, Dalton's house burned down, causing him to have to move into the "Hotel Sakura". When Dalton has a dream that inspires him to turn the world into his own "Heaven", he goes on the offensive. He meets Commotion, fact-to-face, but before he even realizes it, a man kills himself just outside the window. It's later reveal that there is another kira, one who wants to contact him. The problem is, he can't find a way to meet up with the other Kira without Commotion detecting it.

Will Dalton successfully evade capture, or will the world's finest be able to bring this so called "Murderer" to an ironic justice?

Hanako stopped searching the internet for a second as her eyes caught the T.V.... tempting her. She quickly got up and flipped through the T.V. again like she did every morning selecting a special recording she saved.

"We're sorry to interrupt your scheduled program, but this is a message for all of Japan, and involves the investigation of the criminal known as 'Kira'."

Just hearing the word "Kira" gave her those chills again. She never could quite understand those chills. She watched through the whole thing like she did earlier this morning.

"This is your enemy Hanako." She muttered to herself. Talking to herself wasn't something new to her. She did it on a regular basis whenever she was alone. It made her feel like she wasn't the only one. For a moment, she could believe there was someone out their like her. This broadcast was something that immediately caught her eye. It was the first thing that she didn't deliberately do to make herself feel like their was someone out their like her. She quickly re-winded and paused on "Commotion"..... She always hated cops. She always put so much faith into them and they always came short.
"This time-" She stifled a laugh in the middle of her sentence. "This time I'm going to make them fall short." She quickly pulled out the Notebook she found recently.... Death Note.... She silently studied it again as she had before. She opened to the first page. Hanako quickly glanced at the computer screen again, picking out a name on "Japan's Most Wanted"

"MY lord, Kira, only kills the unjust." She said aloud as she wrote down a name and found a smile on her lips. "This is for you. May we meet soon Kira....." She closed the Death Note and looked at the clock, waiting for her first kill to be done. This was just a test She thought. I'll get your attention if this works. She opened the note book again as she read over her words one last time. Takeshi Sato. Committed suicide by jumping off the top of Hotel Sakura. She looked up at the clock and smiled. It'd happen any second now. She walked back to her T.V. and went through her recordings and picked one of her personal favorites.

"People of the world! Heed this warning! Those people! The ones that call themselves Justice! The ones that call themselves detectives! The ones that say they will protect, shelter, and bring you justice, have failed! I come offering myself to the heavens not because of them, but because of the lord, Kira! Let it be known that Kira is the new god of this world! Let it be known that the detectives can no longer bring you justice! From now on, all those who commit horrid crimes such as these shall be punished by his own hand! But the innocent needn't worry! Kira only punishes those who would stand against Justice! Rejoice! For starting now, Kira will bring about the end of suffering!"

Hanako shivered as the last words were spoken. It was absolute beauty and she couldn't take her eyes off the screen for one second. She didn't need to. Time was up for Takeshi Sato. She quickly went to live T.V. and waited for the moment to come. When it would become know what has happened. "Let Kira find this and have him search for me." Hanako said as the news reporters picked up on the latest bit of news.

"In the latest news, Takeshi Sato, who is wanted for countless murders, was found seconds ago jumping off Hotel Sakura. We'll be back with that once we have more information on what exactly happened." Hanako started quietly laughing as she layed down on her couch.

"Are you happy Kira?" She asked as she watched the scene on the television play out.
"Did I do a good job?" Hanako asked as she noticed something on the T.V.

"We are not quite sure if this is a Kira killing yet but we will come back to you once we know." She heard from the T.V. as she sat straight up.

How dare they question it!? This is a Kira killing!!! She screamed in her mind. She was infuriated that she seemed to have messed up. How could she forget the message!?
"It was just a test run. Don't worry." She muttered to herself as she walked over to her computer. "I'm gonna make it so their can be no doubt about me being Kira." She stated as a smile grew on her lips. "Heh, there's gonna be a blood bath tonight." Hanako said as she started laughing quietly. She skimmed through the internet on "Kira" as she found some of his killings.
"Do I want it to be known that there is a second Kira?... Kira will come to find me regardless because theirs another one like him." She hugged herself and spinned in her office chair as she said the last part. She quickly stopped the chair in front of her computer as she looked through the articles
"Then again.... If I come out, then the cops will have to worry even more.... Especially that stupid, idiotic Commotion!" She yelled the last part as she felt like throwing something.
"How dare he try to stop my Kira? How could he ever even think about doing that? Huh!?" She quickly opened her note book again.
"I'll show him." Hanako said as she laughed to herself. "I'll show him that you don't mess with My Savior." She said as she highlighted a couple of names on the computer. Just then, some lines of what Commotion said went through her head.

"You're not even in the same league as a real detective like myself, if you were, you wouldn't need to kill to provide justice. For someone as screwed up as you to think he can provide justice, you need serious help." She gritted her teeth as the last words went through her head.

"You're dead Commotion!!" she yelled as she scribbled down a name. Ren Hokkaido. Shot himself after he screamed "Kira is the lord of this world! All bow before him!" She laughed as she finished writing. She felt good about this. Yes. She thought Kira would like it too. She quickly walked to her bedroom. She quickly got changed and ready to walk the streets. She couldn't wait for Kira to find her house along with her. She quickly moved her bed and took off the board that led to the basement. She walked down and picked her favorite spot to hide it. She was just about to leave it when she had this horrible feeling. She didn't want to leave this here. She quickly ripped off a piece of paper and folded it as she zipped it up in her jacket. She quickly re-hid the death note and rushed back upstairs. As soon as she covered the hole with the floor board again, she moved the bed back. She looked at it awhile and was still feeling quite paranoid about her Death Note. She quickly made a note in her head to buy a big rug next time she went shopping to cover the hidden basement.
"It's fine. Calm down. It'll be fine." She said to calm herself and finally turned her back, grabbed her purse, shut down her computer, and walked out.
"Today is a nice day." She said to herself as she strolled through the city.

Hanako smiled as she heard the news cast. She now had to think. Kira should know by now that i want to meet.... but how? hmm... well, first I should make it clear to only us that I want to meet him.... but how? She thought as an idea popped into her head. She quickly looked up at the screen to see some news about a hostage. Immediately, she felt infuriated.
How dare this man take a hostage!? She screamed in her mind. This man needed to die now. She couldn't stand him being alive any longer. She quickly walked into a library and took out the first book she came across. She unzipped her pocket in her jacket and slipped out her piece of paper. Hiding it with her book, She wrote down the criminal's name. Daichi Fujimoto. Brutal death after yelling out "I wish I could've seen Kira before my end. He is justice!" She had to stop herself from laughing in this public place. She quickly put the book away after she zipped the paper back in her jacket. She looked around and grabbed an interesting book and bought it. When she walked out, She saw on t.v. that her killing worked yet again. She almost had to laugh when the screen immediately went to black. She wondered what could've happened to him but she didn't care at all. She quickly stopped at a furniture store and bought a rug for under her bed. It was to be shipped tomorrow. Better safe than sorry She thought to herself as she walked home.
Once inside, she closed the door and walked to her bedroom where she immediately started laughing hysterically. She couldn't hold it in anymore. People were finally getting justice at her's and Kira's hands.
"Suck it Commotion." She quoted Kira as she sat down in her chair.
"Should I kill another tonight?" She thought as she twirled around in her spinning chair.
"Oh how I love this. The Kira killings shall shake up the cops. The murders of the unjust should turn the people towards us." She smirked as she continued to twirl around in her chair.
"Oh Kira, I wonder what your like. What do you look like? How can we meet?..... Are you happy with me?" She questioned as she turned on her computer. This was too fun to keep her computer off. Maybe she'd do one more kill before she went to watch T.V.

Obviously, he was still stuck on thought about a second Death Note. His shinigami, did not inform him of this fact: that two Death Notes were possible, though he should've assumed that there could've been. Hell, there could've been more. Then, the news caught his attention yet again....

"A man has taken hostages at a local convenience store. The man walked into the store and immediately ordered the cashier to give him all the money in the register. A cop walked in on him and was shot in the torso, but was able to be recovered by a civilian and is in critical condition. All of the customers were taken hostage along with the cashier."

"Are they testing me?" Dalton called out to the T.V. "If that's the case, then I'll just let them see me kill the bastard. He went to take out his Death Note from his bag that he layed down at the side of his bed, but was stopped by, yet again, the news.

"I wish I could've seen Kira before the end! He is Justice!" a voice rang out over the television, followed by the man leaving the victims and firing upon the cops, which prompted them to return the gift. He was cut down, violently by the hail of lead flying towards him, ripping his arms and legs off before he bled out, AND THEN the camera shut off.

"We're sorry for the gruesome display!" the announcer apologized before the topic switched.

"Perfect!" he laughed. "Now the second one is killing the unjust. I think I may have a fan of my work! The police and Commotion won't be able to track us down right away, as long as I can coordinate with this other "Kira". I just need to find out how to meet with said person, and if not deemed a threat, plan. It'll be perfect!"

He layed back, the other Kira's messge was recieved, it wanted to meet with him for real, so they just had to figure a way to do so.... but how?.... he still didn't know how to meet without Commotion figuring it out. He needed something that only the second Kira would be able to pick up on.... he lost himself in a flurry of thoughts.

Hanako just finished looking through her computer when she came across something interesting.
"Shit.... College will be starting soon..." she mumbled as she decided to have fun with the last of the day. She quickly opened Japan's most Wanted again as she grabbed her piece of paper out of her pocket. As much as she wanted to grab her Death Note, she felt she should use up this paper and also keep that there until she was able to get the rug down.
"I wonder... Does Kira want to see me too?" She questioned as she felt a sharp pain in her heart. She always hated this feeling of abandonment.
"Of course he'd want to see you! You want the same thing as him Hanako!" She told her reflection in the computer. She quickly studied the list that she highlighted again and quickly wrote one down.
Kiyoshi Kutikara. died brutally after shouting "Our lord, Kira will save the just. All the just have nothing to fear as long he is around! Let the world rain blood of the unjust tonight. Let it be known that the savior, Kira has come and shall save us all. He is justice and shall prevail. Commotion doesn't stand a chance."
She smiled as she finished writing and spun around in her chair.
"Let the world rain blood of the unjust tonight. Let it be known that the savior has come and shall save us all. He is justice and shall prevail. Commotion doesn't stand a chance." She quoted happily while, still, twirling in her chair. She hopped out of the chair and walked over to her T.V. and quickly turned it on and clicked the record button. She didn't want to miss another kill. So far, all of them have been recorded. All she could hope for now was a response from Kira. She wanted him to say he wanted to meet her too. That was one of her biggest concerns. What if he was angry at her killings? Did he not like the help with killings?
"Oh how i want to meet him so I could figure out." She said as she buried her face into her pillow. She couldn't stand not being with him. She wanted to meet him no matter what. More than anything though, she at least wanted a response.
"Tell me I'm doing good. Tell me I'm doing it right..... Are you happy with me?" She wanted to please him so badly. She would do anything.

"Our lord, Kira will save the just. All the just have nothing to fear as long he is around! Let the world rain blood of the unjust tonight. Let it be known that the savior, Kira has come and shall save us all. He is justice and shall prevail. Commotion doesn't stand a chance."

Dalton watched as the second Kira was pretty much doing his job for him. He couldn't allow that, could he? He'd have to respond to all the messages he was recieving. He pulled out his new laptop, one he had bought with the insurance money, and looked up the most wanted list for Japan. He scrolled through a few before deciding on one he liked.

(Five minutes later, in the middle of a mall.)

"Come! Rejoice! An alliance with the lord, Kira shall be made! He shall assist you to a higher and more beautiful place!" the man stated before simply dying of a heart attack.

Dalton knew that the other Kira would be scanning the news for his response. This one wasn't obvious, but it would be enough to let them know that he accepted the alliance. He just needed a proper way to think a meeting place and announcement over.

Hanako's eyes widened as she saw Kira respond to her. She paused and re-watched it for the 10th time and she still felt the same way. Amazing. Kira responded and approved an alliance. She hugged the pillow tight as a smile crept up her lips for possibly the millionth time that day.
"Thank you Kira." She said as she saved it to her recordings. She didn't know what to do anymore. She felt a tear fall down her cheek and she quickly wiped it away. She wasn't alone in this world. Her lord was watching over her. Yes, she would meet Kira. She didn't need to respond. Too many deaths today would bring too much attention. She needed to let Kira think. This was as overwhelming for her as it must be for him. She quickly folded the piece of paper and zipped it back into her jacket. She now just had to wait and think. She couldn't think of any way of being able to gain contact with him.
"He's smart Hanako, don't worry. You needn't worry. Kira will save you too." she said to herself as she kept staring at the T.V. She heard herself laughing before she even noticed she was. She was way too happy. Happier than she'd ever been before the- Hanako's eyes grew wide and she quickly tried to shut it out.
"Today is a day for rejoicing. Kira said it himself. Calm down." She said as she hugged the pillow close. "You'll never have to go through that again. Kira will watch out for you."

"Ke.. ke.. kekeke!" Tarantos chuckled at the screen of showing dead Human after another as their names were being written in the Death Note(s), his shoulders making a slight popping sound from dislocating to readjusting themselves as he laughed in short, raspy sounds, his bones structure having not been made for such a thing like laughing. He didn't feel much pain as to what the sound his bones were making to lead to assumption in the contrary. This 'Dalton Timothy Conway' character was so different and yet so amusing to watch! Had he known the Human World would have these sort of humans, he'd have tried it out in fancy earlier in his lifetime! He observed as quietly as he could though, the chuckling taking up to what he would be usually be taking long, dry breaths that were low, like humming, but were in fact, a groaning sound. He had been observing this Human, and watched the entirety of the events that has taken place so far. This 'Commotion' character who seemed have come into play, but has yet to take much action, while Dalton was on a roll of a killing spree, one Human after the other. It amazed him to see how humans took these common everyday tools of Shinigami and just went all out over it. It was certainly different from the usual bore of the Shinigami Realm. And then the variety of other humans, the one human who kept lying her name, and then the burning of Dalton's house! Too interesting!

It was slightly concerning to know that there were other Death Notes that have been dropped, but he didn't mind it much. However, as long as he can continue to observe, it didn't matter to him. Tarantos had written out the Death Note's purpose onto the inside of the book cover that he dropped. He barely gives any thought to what the lazy Shinigami he took it from would react. Surely he wasn't that much of an idiot to not write names to live longer.. would he? Tarantos doesn't dwell long.

He watches as Dalton and another Human communicate through the killings, he isn't stupid, he understands what they were doing. Slightly tapping Dalton very lightly on the shoulder to request his attention, and when he gets it, he makes a sort of question mark with his fingers, being able to bend them disturbingly flexible enough to that point as he curves the palm of his hand to make the remaining curve as his fingers became in synch as the upper curve. He pauses in a short moment, and then tilts his head to a small angle - like how the little female Humans do when they interact with other little tiny Humans in confusion. Unlike them, his necks makes a cracking pop sound as like his ones were finally being brought out of a very stiff position for the first time in a very long time. It's loud. To say the very least, it wasn't as 'cute' as what the tiny Humans were when they did. His silence though, and actions indicating to ask Dalton as to what he was doing, should've been brought across. 'What're you gonna do now?' After all, Tarantos wasn't a mind reader, he was a Shinigami. Shinigamis, at least to his knowledge, weren't capable of such things.

Dalton normally didn't mind the noises that managed to expel themselves from Tarantos, but when he was lost in thought, his mind keep retreating when he'd get close to an answer due to them. The noises were unique in that it sounded unlike most anything else, kind of like Chewbacca's roar. A mixture of different noises?

Dalton snapped himself out of his jumbled mind when he was tapped on the shoulder. He looked back at the shinigami and gave him a look that shouted "Hey, I'm trying to think right now! Could you call back later?" But, he knew that the Shinigami he had didnt request his attention for no reason. He sighed before responding.

"What?" he looked straight at the god of death, as if waiting for a question, which normally, he would recieve, but Tarantos wasn't normal. Realizing he wasn't getting a verbal answer (That he'd understand) he watched as the shinigami attempted to communicate with him.

He cringed just a bit as his fingers somehow made a question mark, cracking a few times as he did so. Tarantos then cocked his head to the side, which was apparently his imitation of how girls tend to do that when they're confused. It didn't look pretty. In fact, it looked almost disgusting, but the damage was done.

"I'm not sure what you mean..." he scratched his head. Following a slight pause, a lightbulb found itself above his head. "Oh! I'm trying to figure out how I and the other Kira are to meet." he explained. "I'm not sure how smart you are, but I doubt you're dumb enough to not realize I can't just give a time and location through a victim... I need a way to give out details without Commotion and anyone else understanding, and that's not an easy task, I must admit."

Hanako let herself lay there for a couple of minutes as she thought of how she was going to meet Kira. They'd have to use something that only they would understand... Sadly, they didn't know each other enough to make a code of some sort.
"The only thing we know of each other is our killings. We could try to link that into our code somehow but Commotion might have his people there. Even if he didn't, I'd still have to think of something else in common.... I could try to link it to our killings but I'm pretty sure that it'd be pretty packed still from the murders that occurred there recently. I could make a 1-4-2-3 pattern with my killings, but we'd have no way of linking it to something we'd both know.... If I were able to think of something, we'd be meeting at the store where the hostages were taken which would actually be good since they'd be trying to bury what had happened there because it's bad for business." She said quietly to herself, trying to think of how to make a pattern he would know. Suddenly, she sat straight up. The Death Note! It was something they both had in common. She quickly moved her bed and ran downstairs to get it. Once she opened it, she went straight to the rules.
"What would be some phrases that would strike a chord with him and i could link it to the murders?" Hanako said to herself.
"Name. Heart attack. Same name. Cause." she mumbled to herself.
"It'd be a bit like gibberish but it would get the point across. Now, to add killing place in there... How can i make it?" She said as she started thinking hard.
"Answer me this riddle?" She tested out saying it as she thought hard.
"Oh! I'd have to switch it to a five pattern because this would be my fifth kill." She said as she switched up the words in her mind.
"Answer me this riddle. Name, You have 6 min and 40 seconds to find me, Heart attack, Same name. Now, come find me Commotion." She said to herself as she thought of making it seem like a taunt. Only Kira would know that it wasn't a taunt. Now, she'd have to link it to her murders.
"Answer me this riddle.... Name, You have 6 min and 40 seconds to find me, Heart attack, Same name. Now, come find me Commotion." She said as she laid down.
"This is hard. How would i link this to my murders? For commotion, he wouldn't be able to tell the difference of the deaths so he'd have no chance of finding us... But how can i say-... ugh, hang on...." She quickly said to herself as she started re-wording the phrase again.
"Answer me this riddle. Name, You have 6 minutes and 40 seconds to find my killing place, Heart attack, same name. Now, Come find me Commotion." She said with a smile. She now had an idea of how to meet.
"Now, all i need to do is wait for the publicity of the shop to die down." She said to herself as she put the death note back and ran upstairs to tell Kira the good news. She quickly flipped on her computer and went back to her new favorite site.
Sadau Ikeda. Shot himself after yelling "Kira has plans! All the just must do is wait for his plans to be revealed." She smiled as she finished. She hoped he would be happy about this. She would have to wait awhile before meeting though. Hopefully they'd be able to talk until then though.

The t.v caught his attention once more. "Yet another Kira killing occured. This time, the victim shouted "Kira has plans! All the just must do is wait for his plans to be revealed." before pointing a gun at himself and comitting suicide. W-"

Dalton shut the t.v off. "A plan?" he thought to himself. "That's perfect!" he prepped up. "Now I at least know that the other isn't stupid, if they do indeed have a plan! Great, I'll wait then!" he exclaimed rather happily. "Though lately I haven't been using my head to its fullest potential... I'll blame stress." he shrugged before getting up and moving to the refridgerator. "For now, I shall feast upon ye! HA!" he took hamburgers out of the fridge.

They were cheap ones, but they were hamburgers nonetheless and Dalton did so love his hamburgers. After unwrapping the package, he threw them in the microwave and shut the door, then punched in a minute and a half and pressed the start button.

(A minute and a half later)

"Wooh! Best news I've heard all day!"

He was staring at the little message that scrolled repeatadly on the microwave which said, "FOOD IS DONE. HAVE A NICE MEAL!" He took his burgers out and shut the door.

"I will, thank you." he replied to the inanimate object before preparing his food.

(thirty seconds later.)

Dalton had begun eating his burgers when an idea hit him. Why not tell everyone where Kira was going to be? If it were an crowded area, he could easily get away with it. He just needed a way to identify the other kira.....

He already had a place in mind: A festival celebrating the water dragon, Seiryu was to be held later in the week. During that festival, volunteers were to be called up to...sing. He didn't care for singing, but he could. If he were to find out when he was to sing, and link it to the Death Note...

"That's it!" he stated, finishing his hamburger. He now had a plan in case they couldn't use the other Kira's.

Hanako quickly grabbed a bag of potato chips and opened them as she sat down in her chair again.
"Oh Kira, I hope your happy with me." She said as she put the bag down and quickly covered the floor board and moved the bed over it. She quickly returned to her snacking at her chair as she looked through the internet.
"Okay, if I were to count the days, I'd say we could meet in two days..." She said as she munched on a chip.
"Answer me this riddle. Name, You have 6 minutes and 40 seconds to find my killing place, Heart attack, same name, Wheres the cause? Now, Come find me Commotion." She said as she notice she'd need a place to meet inside the store. She looked at her chips and quickly shrugged.
"By the potato chips?... but how could I put that in?..." She mumbled as she tried to keep thinking.
"Answer me this riddle. Name, You have 6 minutes and 40 seconds to find my killing place, Heart attack, same name, The cause is by the potato chips. Now, Come find me Commotion." She said as she finally finished.
"A bit of nonsense never hurt anyone..." She said as she munched on another chip.
"I should have a kill 6 minutes and 40 seconds after this to make him think he actually had a chance and that this was his punishment." She said with a smirk as she highlighted more names on the computer.
"This will be fun." She said as she folded up the chip bag, put it away, grabbed some leftovers, and heated them up.
"Now, to eat." She said with a smile as she ate her left over chicken.
Surprisingly, this still tastes as good as the first time. she thought to herself as she quickly finished and cleaned her place.
"Now, all I have to do is wait for tomorrow." Hanako said as she quickly went to take a shower. After the shower, she quickly slipped into her pajamas and then layed in her bed.
"Night Kira. Hope to have messages from you tomorrow." Hanako said as she went to sleep.

Hanako climbed out of bed sleepily as she automatically went to the computer. She never was a morning person. She quickly typed "Kira" in google and then walked to the kitchen for some food.
"Maybe i should switch it to the phone booth outside of the store instead...." she said sleepily, her mind trying to keep thinking of plans even though right now, all it cared about was how fast she could get food to her stomach. She opened the cupboard and grabbed a box of "Fruity Pebbles" out. She quickly poured it into a bowl and poured milk all over it. Once this was done, she hurridly grabbed a spoon and shoveled it down quickly. She had too many plans to be thought out to have the time of eating slowly. She needed her whole mind to be focused on how to meet Kira. Once done, she quickly rushed to her desk to make the rest of the saying.
Akira Hosake. heart attack after yelling "Commotion. Let's play a game. Answer this riddle to find me. Here it is. Name, You have 6 minutes and 40 seconds to find my killing place, same name, Heart attack, I'll call you outside. Now, Come find me. I hope your skills are as good as some say. Can't wait to see you..... That is, if you can solve this." she smiled as she quickly changed and ran out the door. She had to get to the phone booth outside the store now. She smiled as she completely forgot the search she was doing and walked the rest of the way to the store.

The riddle wasn't too hard to figure out (If you had a Death Note and were not me in real life XD). Dalton nearly instantaneously knew where she'd be. He grabbed his wallet, Mp3 and Death Note and started out the door and down the stairs, with one direction in mind.

(A small walk later)

As he arrived at a convenience store, he noticed a phone booth with some girl near it. This is where he had to meet it...the second Kira. He wasn't sure if maybe the Kira was late, or if something bad had happened. Surely it couldn't be the beautiful girl that was there. Maybe she was late? He walked inside the store and purchased a couple of 32oz drinks before returning to the booth and looking her in the eyes.

"The human whose name is...." he said, turning away from her, as if to act like he wasn't talking to her. It was a test, one that'd confirm his suspicions.

"written in this note shall die." Hanako said with out a second thought and with a smile as she felt like she just died and gone to heaven, even though she knew that is impossible now although she'd still have to pinch herself at some point to make sure she wasn't dreaming. The person standing in front of her was Kira. She never wanted the dream to end if it was.
"It's nice to finally meet you in person." She said as she looked at him. She couldn't believe she finally met him. She had so much to say but she knew this wasn't the place. Too public.
"Do you wanna go to my place to talk?" Hanako said as she knew they'd need some privacy before going over anything else.

"....written in this note shall die."

The girl's voice echoed through his mind as she completed a sentence that only the other Kira would know. It was her, she was the other Kira. He felt a heavy weight lift off his chest.

"It's nice to finally meet you in person." She said as she looked at him.

Dalton turned around, a huge and warm smile had made its way onto his face.

"Do you wanna go to my place to talk?" Hanako said as she knew they'd need some privacy before going over anything else.

"I would be delighted to, miss?" he didn't have anything to call her, and if she gave him a fake name, he wouldn't blame her.

"Hanako.... but your not getting my last name until I know you better." Hanako said with a playful smile as she started walking away.
"It's not that far away from here." she called back to Kira. She wasn't going to ask for his name... she didn't want to give him any ideas that she would turn traitorous. When they got to her house, she smiled as she looked it over. Her parents were very rich.
"No wonder why-" She thought to herself as she quickly cut her thought off when visions of her past played in her mind. Today was not a day to think of that. She might as well be thankful for the money now that they bought the house for her. Payments were always in their names. Better for her anyway. No name out there for someone to find. She quickly opened the door for him as she quickly walked to the family room.
"Want anything before we start talking?" She asked, glad that she knew her manners.

"Hanako.... but your not getting my last name until I know you better." Hanako said with a playful smile as she started walking away.
"Hanako? A pretty name." he said, following her.

"It's not that far away from here." she called back to Kira.

As they arrived at her house, he could tell that she was rich, or at least, her parents were. The house was definetly better than his old, run down house. They entered her house and she opened the door for him, she was trying to be as polite as possible, it seemed.

"Want anything before we start talking?" she asked, glad she knew her manners.

"No thanks, I've got these." he said, holding the drinks he had purchased. "One's for you." he held out both, one orange, one grape. They were just flavored sodas, as he wasn't sure what she liked because this was their first time meeting.

She smiled as she took the grape, her favorite.
"Thank you." She said as she opened it, her eyes caught her computer and widened.
"Oh shit...." she said. As she rushed over and clicked the first one she saw.
"Someones on to us...." She said quickly as she scrolled through it.
"He goes by the name of Hunger.... and he's got it out for us.... He isn't on our side or Commotion's by the look of it..." she said as her eyes scrolled through the article. Her heart sank as she read through it again.
'How did he know about all of this?' she quickly thought and looked back at Kira.
"It's possible ANOTHER Death Note has been dropped...." she said, angry that there was someone who dared stand up to Kira. How dare he!?
