Introduction

At Shinoda high school, everything has been normal until now. But now, a prince has transferred to the school. While the students had expected a blond European with a charming personality, but the prince does not have a charming personality at all. He is rather egocentric, perverted and a spoiled brat. This poses a problem to the students. While some are blinded by his looks, he has a decreasing popularity among others. If something doesn't change then the students and classmates will turn his life into a living hell.

Shinoda high school: Shinoda high school has been around since 1907 and is seen as a prestigious high school in Japan. It has up to date equipment and good teachers. It has 1000 students of the higher four years. There is the main school building with 40 classrooms, a school cafe and a pastry shop. Then there is the gym where three classes can do sports simultaniously due to the size of the gym. And in front of the school is a large courtyard. Students can also hang out on the top of the roof in a fenced area.

It was the new school year and Karin had already gotten word that some kind of prince was transferring to her school. It really didn't excite her much. She just hoped that the prince wouldn't be a snob or a pervert. Karin had gotten dressed for school. Instead of dress shoes she wore sneakers with thigh-high socks. She straightened out her orange serafuku and tied a white cloth ribbon around her neck as a makeshift choker. She then walked down the wooden boarded hall of her rather traditional house towards the kitchen. Her mother, a black haired woman in a kimono, then said: "How many times do I have to tell you to take your shoes off inside the house?! Sometimes I have the feeling I have a son instead of a daughter!" "You have two sons but they have already moved out." Karin said being a smartass.

Karin grabbed a piece of toast and then ran out the door. "Bye." She said on her way out. Karin put on a helmet and got onto her motocross bike to drive to school. On her way down the road she pulled a wheelie, which her mother had seen. "I wish my sons could have been like that." Karins mother said.

Soon Karin got to school and parked her bike. She then took off her helmet and headed to the courtyard.

"Cheshire, I thought I told you not to scratch the walls of the mansion. I'll repaint them later, besides."

The young voice of Edmund Loveguard echoed through the room as he stroked the silky fur of his feline companion, Cheshire Cat, or just simply referred to as "Cheshire". Wearing his usual wear, he wore a rather long, either black or blue coat with a white shirt, or blouse, with a very ruffled neck piece that trails down to his chest. This particular piece of clothing recognized his place as a servant, though barely one anymore.

"Alright now, I must get ready." He said, breaking away when the thought of a prince struck his mind. A prince. What an interesting year this should be. Edmund trailed up a scarlet-colored winding staircase to his master bedroom, to rummage through his wardrobe in search of his black uniform. "Aha," he said victoriously, and soon, he had the uniform slipped on with a neat Juzu bead bracelet hugging his wrist, along with simple black men's shoes. Tugging on the collar of the top part of his uniform, he straightened it, and when he was clearly satisfied, he headed back down the winding staircase and decided to skip breakfast for today.

"I shall see you after school, Cheshire. Don't rip up anything," he warned softly as the sneaky cat purred in agreement. Edmund leaned over a chair and snatched up his bag, only to make a delightful whimpering noise when he felt his music box in there. "Ah, dear. I'm never going to loose this precious item," he crooned to himself, and with a childish giggle, he exited the house and locked it, shoving the key in his pocket and then walking on the side walk, preferring to use his legs rather than a vehicle.

It was very beautiful in Japan, the scenery and the culture, the cuisine, he liked it all here, but what amazed him the most were the sakura trees. Their petals looked so graceful and admirable, he could just sit under one all day.

Once Edmund made it to school without his legs collapsing underneath him, he melted when he saw more sakura trees. Now, normal people whom are used to them might think he may be insane, considering the fact that right now he dropped his bag near a tree and began hugging it and spouting out words, rather vividly about how eccentric yet breath-taking they are, but well, that's just Edmund for you.

The boy dropped to his knees in the front of the school under the tree and smiled peacefully. He pulled out the music box from his bag, and opened it slowly to listen to it. Edmund's face appeared to go "chibi", and it appeared as if drool was hanging from his mouth. He loved the music box so much, he even named it Alice.

A sakura blossom fell onto Edmund's nose, but he was too zoned out to notice, and continued listening, though he looked like a very stupid idiot at the moment.

Ahri was being roughly awakened be her alarm clock. A groan escped her lips before she literrally dragged herself out of bed. Ahri may just have spent too much of the night in a boss fight...or two. She yawned heavily before walking over to her closet. She looked through her clothing and found the uniform within a few seconds, it was quite hard to miss. Since the uniform was way too short for her liking, she always wore leggings underneath. This time she went with her black ones.

Before walking down the stairs she packed her bag. Books, pencils, notebook for drawing and of course, her precious PSP. "Good morning Ahri." "Mornin' mom, I think I'll skip breakfast, I'm not that hungry." Her mother's expression saddened. "Aw, I made you pancakes.." Her mom pouted childishly. "Oooh, pancakes..alright, just a few...."

Time to get ready. A quick brushing of her chestnut brown hair, very light make up and Ahri was ready to go. Slipping on her yellow sneakers she headed out the door. "Later mom!" Out on the street she took a deep breath of fresh air and headed for school. As she reached school grounds she heard whispering about a prince. Oooh that's right...hope he's a fun guy. She sat down outside the school underneath a tree, pulling out her PSP while waiting for school to start.

Haru gave a loud yawn as he stood in front of the mirror, brushing through his long hair, two hair ties held between his lips. He'd been standing there brushing it for nearly five minutes now, too lost in thought to notice that he could move on to the task of pulling it back. For him to get so distracted was odd, but the thought of an actual prince transferring to his school wouldn't leave his mind. A lot of people would likely be drooling after this prince, though it would definitely be a wasted effort since royalty wouldn't waste their time making friends with commoners.

"Haru!" A voice called from downstairs, "Your breakfast is going to get cold!" This brought Haru back to reality and he quickly tossed his brush back onto the counter, beginning to pull his gardenia pink hair back into what could easily be called his 'signature' twintails. "I'll be right down!" He called back once the second tie was taken from his mouth. Once he finished with his hair, he straightened the jacket of his uniform, which was left unbuttoned, and quickly headed downstairs.

Once he got downstairs, Haru immediately headed into the kitchen. He kept a blank face, but desperately wanted to scowl at the bowl of rice waiting for him on the counter. "Couldn't she have made something different for once?" Noticing that his mother was nowhere to be found, Haru grabbed an apple from a bowl sitting on the dining room table and headed towards the door. He slipped his old, white tennis shoes on and grabbed his bag, beginning to open the door before he was stopped. His mother spun him around and buttoned up the jacket of his uniform, causing him to roll his eyes. "Do good today, dear. Make your me and your father proud." His mother said, patting the side of Haru's face. Haru simply nodded before going out the door.

Once he made it to the school grounds, his pace slowed down tremendously and he listened in on the people around him. After no more than a minute, he chose one of the few trees in front of the school and went to stand under it, letting out a long sigh. Class hadn't even started yet and already all he'd heard people talking about was prince, prince, prince. He crossed his arms, looking a bit childish with a slight pout on his face, and tried to think about things other than this new student.

Atobe woke up earlier than usual. He stood up and walked to his bathroom, glancing at the mirror as usual. "Hopefully this school wont be much different than what I'm used to..." He stripped and hopped in the shower, the warm water revitalizing him. He stepped wrapped himself in a towel and brushed his teeth. The soft gel of the toothpaste felt refreshing, the smooth mint flavor was his favorite. Atobe took a second towel and dried his hair, proceeding to comb it to the usual 'kick flip' as he called it. "Good, my perfect mole is lovely as ever." He couldn't help but smile at his self proclaimed 'charm point'. He finally stepped out of his bathroom and into his walk-in closet. He grabbed his boxers and the new school uniform, freshly steam pressed. "Alright, time to head downstairs for some breakfast!"

Atobe walked down the spiral staircase of the new mansion to the marble plastered kitchen. He was used to feeding himself in the mornings. His father was a director, his mother was a business women. Both of them weren't home too often, his mother literally never seemed to spend even one night at home. She would always call Atobe, though, checking up on her only son. He grabbed a frying pan, some eggs and scrambled them. Atobe sighed, eating them alone and enjoying his glass of orange juice. He finished and walked towards the door grabbing his keys. He took a step outside feeling a cool breeze sweep across his face, "Refreshing." He locked the door, and began his walk to school.

Atobe walked down the street, approaching his new school. "I wonder if any of the students know I'm gracing them with my presence." He smirked, enjoying the sight of the numerous Sakura Trees. "So gorgeous, just like me." He looked around noticing a green haired kid hugging a nearby Sakura Tree, "Ooooook... Not strange at all." He also noticed a girl parking her motocross bike and another playing her PSP under a tree. "These people seem to be rather wrapped in themselves..." Atobe could hear students talking about him, pointing at him, probably admiring his stunning good looks. "This shouldn't be much different than home, I'll be back on top in no time." He laughed quietly to himself, looking around for a sign of the school Tennis Courts or a Performance Hall. He figured asking someone wouldn't hurt, he approached a girl with pink hair standing under a tree. "Excuse me, Miss. I'm Atobe, the new student from England. I was hoping you could direct me to the Tennis Courts?" Atobe offered a hand shake with a smile, hoping to make at least one friend before school officially started.

As the rather unusual day began, a rather unusual girl noticed several rather unusual people in that unusual place. First there was someone with bright pink hair - Nodoka couldn't tell whether it was a he or a she, which was somewhat unsettling. Then there was an extremely elegant person saying something about tennis - Nodoka didn't know exactly who he was. There was a girl playing a PSP, and another parking a motor bike. Nodoka was one of the few people coming from the dorms still, as most of the other students who lived on campus had showered earlier and headed off to class. She was always late because she was too nervous to shower around other people, or to leave at the same time as them. On the upside, she got to sleep in. On the downside, her day became extremely rushed, and, despite this, she was almost always late. Most people she had known at previous schools had her pegged for a delinquent because of this, and that wasn't an image she liked, given how much in attracted attention. However, all of these matters were quickly knocked from her mind by the most unusual sight of all, a sight which quickly sent her hiding behind the trunk of one of the nearby trees, from which hiding spot she peered out to examine the unusual being she saw sitting nearby.

Kneeling under a Sakura tree, hugging it, and listening to some sort of music was a very, very strange person. His hair looked to be some shade of black, although when it caught the sunlight through the canopy of pink blossoms above him it looked more greenish than raven hued. He seemed to be completely spacing out, something which Nodoka immediately recognized from experience. She remembered how people had said she looked exactly the same way when she spoke to her brother back in Elementary school. Eyes closed, a look of almost sleep-like peace, and speaking to what they perceived as thin air. She had long since accepted that her brother's ghost was invisible to other people, and so had stopped speaking to him in public, on his own advice. He was so kind, thinking of her and how she might be bullied like that, even though speaking to her was the only thing he could do in his spectral state.

Nodoka was quickly snapped out of her reverie by the sound of the music box. It was... actually a really nice sounding song. It quickly caught her attention as the sort of music she quite liked. Somewhere in the back of her mind she was well aware how odd she must have looked, peering out behind the trunk of a tree, her school bag clutched tightly to her chest, her eyes staring with some element of confusion at the boy who seemed asleep under the falling sakura blossoms, but she didn't really care. While she was too shy to approach the strange boy, the music caught her attention and dragged her into the world he must have lived in constantly. It struck a chord somewhere inside her. She wasn't sure what it was, but she couldn't bring herself to leave that beautiful and entrancingly simple melody behind her. Maybe she felt a sort of connection to the strange boy? It was a bit illogical, but he seemed just like her. He sat alone and left the world behind, carried away by the sound of something he cherished.

I think I'll stay here a while, and listen...

Shinji was up an hour early he couldn't sleep it maybe had a slight case of insomnia for the night or maybe he had alot on his mind. Whatever the reason he was up so he got ready regardless. Taking a shower, brushing his teeth and getting dress. As he began buttoning up his uniform shirt he looked at the scars across his chest that extended to his side which his step mom gave him by running him over. A very big reminder that Shinji had to be careful on who he trusted.

He then went to the kitchen where he was sure his dad was up. "Good morning dad." Shinji said as he grabbed a cup of coffee and a strawberry waffle from the toaster. "Morning son. You're up a little earlier this morning." A slight nod from Shinji as he began to take a few bites from the waffle and began stirring in sugar into the coffee. "Couldn't sleep well dad, so I thought I walk to school since I'm up already." His dad looked at him a bit concern as he himself grabbed a cup of coffee as well. Shinji notice this and smiled at his dad the way always did when he made that face. "Dad, don't worry I'm fine besides its a nice day a good walk will do me good." Shinji's dad smiled at him and reached over to ruffle the boy hair. "Alright dad I'll see you this afternoon." He said as he grabbed his backpack to leave.

Shinji took walked out the house and began to head to school. The school was about four blocks away which wasn't to bad for him to walk. For Shinji a walk was the best time to get his head together and not have to much to worry about. As the park came into view, a pink petal went right across his face as he looked up he saw the sakura trees in full bloom. That's when he looked over to see a boy hugging a tree and mumbling some words about the trees beauty. Shinji didn't say nothing but merely went a little further away from him and decided to sit under the tree since it was cool morning. He plopped himself away from the school, but facing the center of the park so he could think as he watched the petals dance in the wind.

Relaxing, the boy felt an odd sensation, though, as if something was approaching him, which made his eyes grow to be wider instead of half-closed like two moon crescents. He saw a princely figure walk by, and approach a pink haired..boy? Girl? In all honesty, he had no clue on what..she or he was, but his eyes averted and blinked for a moment, and golden eyes began gazing at a girl hiding behind a tree.

The sakura blossom which strayed to his nose had already fallen from his movements, as curiosity swelled the silent-as-night boy, and then he noticed something: she seemed to be listening. Listening to music, or perhaps, a music box. The boy blinked absentmindedly for a moment, his golden, cat-like irises averting at the music box, then the shy-appearing girl. A faint, petite smile spread across his features as he quietly began speaking to the girl.

"Hello," he greeted delicately, only to blush when his gaze averted and he saw people constantly glance at him, probably because he was hugging a tree before. Edmund's cat-like stare shifted towards the ground, then back up to Nodoka, then shifting back to the pink-haired boy, then the prince, and everything was a blur.

Biting his bottom lip, he whimpered slightly when he bit too hard, leaving a mark. Edmund frowned, and blushed harder when he realized that people were still around. His cheeks being a bright scarlet, his gaze shifted back to the hiding girl. "Would you like to sit with me?" He asked quietly, attempting to get out of his comfort zone and offer a place next to him.

It was kind of awkward, though despite the tension inside Edmund, he felt somewhat at ease that he felt like giggling for an odd reason, but he refrained because then he'd be considered more of a weirdo by giggling at nothing.

Karin noticed old faces and new faces. She took out a pack out cigarettes and took a cigarette out. After sticking it in her mouth and lighting it, she heard a new guy as where the tennis courts were. Karin walked over to him and said: "I guess you are new. Otherwise I would know your face already and you wouldn't be asking where tennis courts were. The name is Karin Takamoto." The cigarette was loosely hanging in her mouth and she might have come across as a bit tomboyish. The guy was half a head shorter than her. He was handsome but Karin didn't really find it to be special. "Anyone know when this prince guy is going to show up? I want to see if he is really what people expected him to be. I can imagine that he could be a snobby and narcissistic snot or someone outright perverted who chases after girls by their features." She then said.

Ahri groenad rather loudly as she once again died. In the game that is. "Oh darn it all!" A sigh escaped her lips as she looked up. Wow, why all the fuss? She glanced around and noticed a tall, pretty handsome boy that she assumed everyone was gossiping and pointing at. Then she noticed a.....booy? Yeah..a boy. No breasts aand she though she could see an adam's apple. She turned uff her PSP and put it back in her bag. This way was not all bad. The weather was lovely and everyone seemed happy. Energy boost~! She grinned widely as she stood up, her hair getting caught in the wind.
Ahri walked over to the front of the school, watching the sakura trees in all their grace. She then noticed a boy holding some kind of box..she heard some faint music. What a lovely melody. Ahri decided out of nowhere to do a twirl, she felt so great!

Now, she stood there, watching the trees. She decided to take out her scetchbook and pen and then she just stood there, drawing the trees, humming a random melody.

Haru was drawn from his thoughts for the second time that day, only to hear the one thing he didn't want to hear at that very moment from the one person he didn't want to meet. "Excuse me, Miss. I'm Atobe, the new student from England. I was hoping you could direct me to the Tennis Courts?"

So he was the prince... and he was one of the many people who thought Haru was a girl based on his appearance. It didn't bother Haru too much, seeing as it was a weekly occurence. Somewhere in his head, though, he had hoped that this transfer student would have the reasoning skills to look just below Haru's hair and face and see the boys' uniform.

What was obviously a very uncomfortable and slightly irritated smile was forced, and if this were an anime, a vein would likely be visible on Haru's head. He awkwardly shook Atobe's hand for a moment. "Nice to meet you... Atobe. I'm Haru Umehara, but, ah, I think you may be a bit confused." He took his hand back, shoving both hands into his pockets. He didn't go as far as to tell Atobe that he had Haru's gender mixed up, hoping he'd catch on on his own, but continued speaking after a short pause. "The Tennis Courts are out behind the main building, just to the East of the soccer field and track. I suppose that I could show you if you need me to." Though Haru didn't want to get too friendly with the transfer student, showing him out back couldn't hurt. Being Student Council President, he felt sort of obligated to help out, anyways.

As another person walked over and joined the conversation, Haru's smile looked a bit less forced. "Good morning, Karin." He frowned a bit when he noticed the cigarette. "You really shouldn't be smoking on school grounds..." When Karin began talking about the prince, Haru had to hold back any signs of his amusement, waiting to see what Atobe's initial reaction would be.

Aiyame awoke in her large bed, not sure if she was still dreaming she pinched herself. " So it's a new day then." she smiled a bit before sitting up in her bed, for once she slept well. Probably due to her not staying to late on one of her games. She walked over to the mirror and stood up a small step so she could see herself, she was short and didn't love that feature about her;but she made due. Brushing her silk black hair she focused he view on the window, it was a nice day out...perfect for walking. Once preparing herself, she got dressed in her school uniform. She wasn't too fond of it, but it was required. It took time to get her uniform, it had to be specially sized due to them lacking her size; most places did. Once getting her uniform on she worse some black leggings, she preferred the men not to get a glimpse under her skirt.

Heading down stairs, she sat at the dinner table with her cousin who was just about done with her food. The house they currently lived in was not too fancy, but a bit higher then a middle class home. " Aiyame, you shouldn't have slept in this late. You may be late for school." she heard her father speak with a strict tone as he usually did. She simply did not respond, but nod her head as she ate the bacon she picked off the plate. " Misaki, come now; time to go to school." her mother said to her dreadful cousin. It was normal for her to get a ride to school while, Aiyame had to walk. " Have a good day." she said softly to her cousin, it was natural for her to act polite to the girl; only out of kindness and tolerance for her cousin.

Once done eating, Aiyame said her good byes to her father and left the fairly large home and began walking to school. Her parents never liked to be show offs when it came to property, that must of been why they did not purchase such a fancy home. Looking at the sky, Aiyame felt a sort of peace that comforted her. The Sakura pedals gliding across the air so smoothly to the destination that awaited them, so serene. However in the far far distance she caught sight of some cloud build up, perhaps it was going to rain later? She did not bring her umbrella sadly. She simply sighed and went on her way, a bit eager about the new 2D fighter game that was releasing soon; in fact tomorrow it would release at 11:00AM. It would require some sneaking out, but would be well worth it.

Arriving to the school sit she saw many people, faces she remembered and one she did not? Perhaps this was the new transfer student she heard of? He had the looks, she felt some sympathy for the boy. The girls would crowd him sooner or later. She passed by Nodaka and nodded her head in greeting. Aiyame seemed to always look quite graceful and serious as she walked, to some people it was surprising she did not join the student council. Although she looked responsible, not everyone treated her like that due to her size; they often teased her humorlessly and the girls would treat her like a doll of some sort. She caught glimpse of Ahri and waved at her, she was good friends with her; due to them both being gamers of some sort. She then was stopped by two girls who were smiling brightly, one laching them self onto Aiyame " Chibi~! We missed you so much!" the girl hugging her tightly, while the other just giggled " You still haven't changed a bit Aiyame." she said in a cheery tone. "H-Hey! Don't hug me so tight, come on let go!" She was obviously embarrassed by the situation and was blushing a bright pink as she tried to escape the hand of this underclassmen " I have changed, I'm sure I grew a bit!" She continued to try to escape, feeling embarrassed by the situation; especially since it was in the middle of many people.

"Eep!" Nodoka squeaked, darting back behind the tree as Edmund looked up. However, judging by the fact that he started speaking to her a moment later, it seemed that this effort to conceal herself had been made entirely in vain. Slowly, she peeked out from behind the tree again, her large blue eyes locked in an expression somewhat akin to that of a deer caught in the headlights of an oncoming car. She didn't want to bother him, so sitting down next to the strange young man seemed out of the question initially, but he had just asked her to! He had even moved to give her a place to sit down. If she just ran away, she would probably hurt his feelings, or annoy him, or make a thousand other kinds of bad impression. She didn't want to sit next to him, she would only be a nuisance! But she didn't have any other options. Slowly, she nodded, her dark hair fluttering slightly in the breeze that carried a thousand pink petals soaring through the sky, like a shower of tiny gemstones formed into a picturesque quilt across the clear blue sky. Creeping out from her hiding spot, she moved slowly, step by step, as though being forced to by some invisible assailant. Clutching her bag more tightly than ever, her head dropped behind its corner, concealing the lower half of her face just as her long, dark bangs descended to blot out her ocean blue eyes from view. She stumbled slightly over a root, her clumsiness showing just how nervous she really was better than any words could tell, but she caught herself on the tree's trunk, and slowly, painstakingly seated herself, as though afraid that the ground would sink right out from under her and she would sink into the very Earth.

It was pretty clear that Nodoka was a new student here. Her uniform was different from that of the school, probably the seifuku worn at whatever school she had transferred from. Transfer students wearing their old uniforms wasn't all that uncommon, after all. How nervous she was acting only further pointed toward that conclusion. Behind the folds of her school bag, she was biting her lip so hard that it was a wonder that it wasn't bleeding from the strain. She would fidget now and again, as though she was shivering from the cold. But it was still quite warm out, so obviously this cold was not one brought on by the weather. No, it seemed much more obvious why she shivered and quaked: she was afraid. Of what? Of speaking. She didn't think her own words mattered much, but it might offend him if she just sat there quietly. She should have thanked him for putting up with her, or maybe apologized for watching him like that, or... or... she didn't know what to do! What if she said the wrong thing and only made him mad? But surely saying something was better than nothing at all...

The twitching and fidgeting was getting worse. She would open her mouth, and then close it again, and then bite her lip, and then occupy herself with how interesting her fingers suddenly were, and with all the different patterns she could make by pushing them together in different orders, and then she would realize that she needed to say something, and repeat the whole sequence over and over again. It was getting awkward. If she didn't say something soon, he would probably just leave and think she had some sort of mental issue, or something. Her acting all scared would only hurt his feelings, but even if she was going to say something, what should she say?! She gave a furtive glance over to see what the raven-haired one was doing, and if he had left or moved away. Just then, however, something caught her gaze: a small music box, sitting in his lap. That was it! The music!

"S-sorry..." She apologized in a murmur, almost inaudible over the quiet breeze that tossed the cherry blossoms to and fro. "I j-just... liked that music... I-if I'm bothering you... I c-could leave. I don't want to.... to impose."

She did not look up as she spoke, staring with frightened eyes down at the ground, not daring to so much as glance at the one beside her for fear of the expression he might be wearing. She started at every sound, fearing it might be the sound of the raven-haired one moving away so as not to be anywhere near the cripplingly inferior Nodoka, a sound that would simultaneously be Nodoka's salvation and damnation. That would be the sound of the one who she did not feel worthy to speak to departing, leaving her alone with herself, like she deserved. It would mean that she was no longer being a burden upon someone else, but, at the same time, it would only serve to drive home how different she was, and how unworthy she was to even sit under the same tree as someone who she had foolishly hoped might be someone like her. She had felt a connection to him before, but now that she was speaking to him, she wasn't so sure that had been the correct conclusion to come to. How irrational and impulsive of her. Someone as stupid as her had no chance of making a connection with someone else. Why had she thought something so impossible could have come to be? Arrogance.

Jasper's head laid on a workbench, a pile of fixed clocks and pocket watched laying beside her. She snored soundly, protective bandages still wrapped around her arms and legs. All of a sudden, her father burst in through the door. He was in his work clothes and his eyes settled on Jasper. He grinned, sneaking up behind her and than giving a large roar. Jasper's eyes snapped open and her hand was like a whip as she turned around. Her hand landed harshly on her father's face, and although a mark was left and it stung, he gave a burly laugh. "Well, good morning Jazz. Looks like your reflexes are as sharp as ever." Jasper blinked and sighed before scratching her head. "First day of school, right?" Her father nodded and she hopped off of the work stool.

Jasper walked out of the garage and up the stairs, her hands working to unwrap the bandages from around her arms and legs. She dropped them to the side of her door and she walked in, closing and locking it. She then proceeded to do her morning routine. She showered, brushed her hair and teeth, then walked to the box on her bed. "Great. First day of school in Japan. First day of school with a uniform." She opened the box and her eyes widened as she yelled something that reached even the garage. "What the hell?!" She picked the uniform out of the box, her face noticeably red as she looked at the outfit. She now angrily whispered to herself. "I can't believe I have to wear this." Her eyes then roamed to her normal, everyday outfit. "Then again..." She smirked. "Maybe I don't only have to wear this." She then dressed in her regular clothes, making sure they were comfortable enough to have something over them. She slipped on the uniform with disgust afterwards.

Jasper walked slowly downstairs, knowing her mother was asleep and she wouldn't want to see the uniform. She grabbed a piece of french toast that was on the counter, eating it as she grabbed her school supplies and slung the bag over her shoulder. She peeped a head into the garage, yelling over her father's work. "I'm going to school now!" Her father nodded and she slunk to the door, pulling on her usual pair of boots. They were a little black from work, but she didn't care. She walked quickly to the school, embarrassed to be in such a short skirted uniform. She reached the school yard with a sigh and hoped that no one would make fun of her New Jersey accent because it was different. She would hate to be even more embarrassed on her first day of school than she already felt. She looked around, spotting a lot of kids that looked like they were smart. She gulped and began walking towards the entrance of the school, hoping to find someone who could get her to her class.

Closing his eyes, he relaxed, only to open them when he saw Nodoka approach him and then sit down, and she seemed slightly uncomfortable, and immediately he could tell she was when she began stuttering. Twirling a lock of his black, curly hair around his left index finger, he gazed at her for a long while to take in her appearance.

"What are you sorry for? You've done nothing wrong," he said with a shy chuckle as he rewound the music box to make it sing again. "A burden? Not at all!" Edmund exclaimed softly, realizing at how fragile her emotions were, and with his gentle nature, it would be easy for him. "It's pretty, isn't it?" The raven-haired boy asked, continuing to twirl a piece of his hair, though, this was quite a habit with him, so it was only natural.

"Oh, my," he gasped. "How rude of me. I've yet to introduce myself, as I've rarely ever spoken to you. I'm Edmund Loveguard, and as I remember, I think your name starts with an N? I'm sorry I don't remember, I tend to forget things very easily with my absentminded self." Edmund giggled for a moment, and then his smile faded to a more gentler and welcoming one; one not so obnoxious.

Shinji notice that more and more people began to in. He didn't care much for crowded places and he thought it was time to head someplace not as crowded. Getting up from the tree he sat at he headed to the entrance of the school. As more and more people began to pour into the entrance it got a bit chaotic though a few students avoided him though.

Shinji then got pushed a bit as some kids were running into the building causing him to accidentally bump into a Jasper. He then snapped his head around. "Watch were you're going!" Shinji yelled out at them. The kids looked back to see who it was and notice it was Shinji. "Oh shit!" Was the last thing he heard before they ran further away from him. He took a deep breath as he was a bit calmer now and looked over to who he bumped into. "I'm sorry." Shinji apologize to her, without meaning to his eyes were a little cold as he looked at her.

Jasper sighed, just about to enter the building. She reached for the door, but was suddenly pushed from behind. She lost her balance, giving a small, "Eep!", as she fell on her butt, catching herself with her hands. She stood, brushing off the uniform. She turned around with a slight glare, noticing him yelling at the kids who had pushed him. She was still glaring as he looked to her and apologized, his eyes a bit colder than she liked.

She spoke with a sarcastic voice. "Oh, it's okay. It's not like I fell over or anything because of you." She brushed her hair down a bit with her hands, taming it as her voice returned to normal and her eyes looked up. "I've dealt with worse, though. Metal burns and getting stitches hurts more that a simple fall." She looked back to him. "Now, instead of glaring me, could you possibly lead me to class 3A? It's a bit hard for me, considering this is a new school. Not to mention it's way different from American schools." She raised an eyebrow, putting her hands on her hips as she waited for an answer.

Aiyame finally managed to escape the girl's hug and ran off, they just giggled and waved at her. " Hope to see you again!" she was still slightly blushing as she ran, she finally stopped at a tree to catch her breathe. Although Aiyame could hold a cool composure, she would often get all flustered up over people embarrassing her like that. Once getting her composure back she took a look around and noticed Haru umehara. He looked to be observing two people, one happening to be the Prince boy who recently transferred. She actually intended on trying out for the Student Council at some point, in fact she had decided to ask Haru if he could get her some kind of interview or whatever they do to see if you are qualified. She approach the pink haired boy and slowly realized he was taller than her, nothing surprising..just.. aggravating.

" Excuse me Haru? You are part of the student council yes? I was interested in joining, is there perhaps a spot open of some kind?" She looked up at him and found his hair a bit interesting, if it wasn't for the fact she already knew who he was she may just mistake him from a girl from far away. " If so, how would I join exactly?" this school year was new, she wanted to try something new as well. For the past years it's been all the same, she felt as though something was pushing her forward, something..or someone.

Atobe slowly realized his grave mistake when approaching the pink haired character. As the character rose their head and responded to the hand shake, he noticed the adam's apple. "Nice to meet you Haru Umehara, I'm terribly sorry about that, heh." He tried to be gracious about his mistake, making it appear honest. Atobe shrugged and placed his hand behind his head, trying to lighten the situation with a little laughter. "Ah, thank you. And uh, I think I can manage by myself, thanks again, though." He was still a tad bit gracious, trying hard to not make this guy an enemy.

He turned around to leave just as a girl approached him and Haru. She was rather tall and was smoking a cigarette. He wondered my she approached them, thinking that possibly his strikingly good looks were the reason. "Good morning, Karin." He heard Haru, and listened to the beginning of the conversation between the two. "You really shouldn't be smoking on school grounds..." He wondered who exactly Haru was, giving advice in such a manner, maybe they were friends... but that was rather doubtful. He finally zoned back into the conversation as Karin began talking. "Anyone know when this prince guy is going to show up? I want to see if he is really what people expected him to be. I can imagine that he could be a snobby and narcissistic snot or someone outright perverted who chases after girls by their features." Atobe felt a weight crash onto his head. He immediately thought, 'Who revealed to the students that I was a prince... this isn't going to turn out well... no point in acting anymore.' An odd expression of arrogance and conceit took over Atobe's face. "I am this so called 'Prince Guy' you speak of!" He clenched his hand so that his thumb was pointing to himself. "I'm Keigo Atobe! Heir to the throne!" He dropped the location part since, truly, it'd be ages before he'd actually become a king and by that point, he'd most likely deny the position. "And for your information; I'm not perverted in any way! I value women more than that." He was incredibly annoyed with that generalization, everyone always thought that. He knew he couldn't deny the narcissistic attitude claim, but it was all in good reason. "And I may be narcissistic, but it's all in good terms!" He felt like that would benefit him, letting people know he wasn't some terrible prince that had a huge head. Atobe knew that he did, but the attitude wasn't just words, it was backed up by his talent and skills.

Shinji looked at Jasper with just a calm stare his eyes still a little cold. "America is that so." He said slightly interested as he stepped inside the school. "Follow me I believe 3A is this way." Shinji said as he took the main hall down. "I wasn't trying to glare at you by the way." He said in a calm voice. "I think my eyes are just like that." The hallways weren't crowded in fact they were kind of empty it was just in the front that was crowded. Taking a smaller hallway down he lead her all the way to the room 3A. "If you go down this opposite hall there's the lockers to put your books and other belongings in." Shinji then turn to leave. "See you later."

Naomi wakes up after only a three hour sleep staying up drawing and painting on her walls. She walks to her mirror and finger combs her short midnight black hair putting the bangs covering her left eye,for some reason she always liked her hair in her face unlike most people. She puts on her eyliner and nude colored lipstick. She starts to think about a pince in here school and hoping,no praying he's not a pain in her butt. But,everyone's mostly a pain in her behind so she doubted it.

She starts to grabs her drawing book just as someone runs into her room grabbing her book. "Dad,wanted us to tell you that he didn't have time to make breakfast so get something on the way. Oh,and what's this?" Her oldest brother saids snaching it out her small pale hands. "Give it back,Craw. And fine i'll eat something later just give my my damn book." She yells jumping up and grabing her book ripping some of the pages. She shoves it in her bag and exhales. "Get Out! This is my room!'She yells throwing small items until her three brother get out of her room. She puts on aher uniform which she hates and rushes down the stairs and out the door. She tries to cover a cuts on her skin but it only makes them less visible but people still know they're there.

She runs to school not caring about eating or anything except for getting this day over with. She rushes to her locker not hearing one insult yet, people were mostly talking about the prince. But,the day is still young. She slams her locker door shut and walks to class 4A. Not having a clue where it is but would rather get lost than ask anyone. She keeps her head down with her earbuds in,blasting rock music in to her pierced ears.

"Is that so?" Karin said. "Well then, let me properly introduce myself. I am Karin Takamoto, probable heiress to the Takamoto industrial empire. People call me a delinquent, others call me a bully. Even though I am from a rather wealthy family, I absolutely hate it to be nicknamed princess or Lady Takamoto." She then went to his side and slapped him rather hard on his back. "Do not get me on my bad side and we can be friends." She said with her eyes closed and a smile her face. But it soon turned dark and even a dark aura seemed to be coming from Karin. As Karin started to pop her knuckles, she said: "Otherwise, I will turn your life into a living horror."

Where the other had notified Karin of smoking on school grounds, Karin said: "I know the school rules and they only say that I shouldn't smoke in the gym or the school building. I can smoke outside as long as I properly dispose of cigarette buds."

Jasper blinked at the quickness they had gotten to her class. There was absolutely no one in the halls. At her old school, it had been filled with talking kids. She peeked into her class, seeing no one was there. She turned to him. "I didn't really mind the glaring, in all honesty. I get it a lot from my mom when I wake up on my workbench. I just... I don't know." She looked to the hall he had mentioned, then mentally jumped as he turned to leave.

"Wait. You are going to leave me here. Alone." She absolutely hated being alone. Being alone meant quiet, and quiet meant spirits coming out to haunt her. She still believed in spirits because she'd seen one from the corner of her eyes. Jasper hastily looked from side to side, having an inner war. Follow some random guy I just met or be stared at by spirits. Show weakness, or be scared. Yeah, that isn't gonna happen. She mentally gulped down her pride. "Do you mind if I hang around with you. Ghost schools aren't really my thing."

Whatever Nodoka expected, it wasn't a response. She almost jumped at the sound of the boy - Edmund, apparently - actually replying what she had said. Surprise gave way to gratitude, which in turn gave way to additional worry. The raven-haired one was actually assuring her that she had done nothing wrong, even though she'd been caught staring at him from hiding. He seemed so kind, something that the shy girl was not used to. However, this only further strengthened her fears that she would do something wrong and estrange him. The only difference now was that she couldn't bring herself to run away instead of making a fool of herself.

He had restarted the music. It seemed he was talking about it in an attempt to take her mind off of her own awkward arrival.

"It's pretty, isn't it?"

She couldn't easily bring herself to make a response, but she bolstered her courage, reasoning that yes was obviously the right answer. She gave a nod, and spoke up as best she could, although her voice came out somewhat stifled and quiet.

"Y-yes... I really like it," She answered nervously, still fidgeting about with her half intertwined hands, which seemed to be a sort of nervous tic of hers.

"How rude of me. I've yet to introduce myself, as I've rarely ever spoken to you. I'm Edmund Loveguard, and as I remember, I think your name starts with an N? I'm sorry I don't remember, I tend to forget things very easily with my absentminded self." Nodoka's eyes widened in surprise at this. He knew who she was? But how could that be? This was her first time attending this school. Maybe he had been at one of the schools she had attended before? No... she didn't recognize his name. So how did he know her?

"I... I'm Nodoka..." She replied weakly, only returning her name because Edmund had prompted her for it, and she couldn't really refuse without ruining everything and being a pain. "B-but how did you know?" She asked, finally glancing up with confusion showing plainly in the sapphire pools that peeked out from beneath the raven curtains hung before them. "I-I've o-only just transferred here." Her voice grew somewhat more audible, encouraged by the gentle smile on the face of this unusual person.

That smile... It looked almost exactly like the one Mamoru always wore when he appeared to her.

"Don't worry about it." Haru replied to Atobe's apology, shrugging it off. He turned fully to Aiyame when she approached him, happy to have a distraction. He looked down at the shorter girl with interest as she spoke, beaming at the fact that she was expressing interest in student council. "I believe we're still in need of a secretary. You seem like an organized person, so you'd probably be perfect for the position. There should be a form in the front office for you to fill out- it mainly asks why you want to join and why you think you're qualified. After that, as long as your grades are alright and your personal record looks okay, there shouldn't be anything else."

Haru crossed his arms, a looking a bit more serious. "We'd usually have elections, but people haven't been showing much interest in student council for the past few years.I'm glad someone actually wants to join, though." Haru turned his head to look at Atobe again as he introduced himself in a manner that really did show that he was royalty. Luckily, this prince wasn't nearly as bad as Haru expected. Maybe, just maybe, with enough patience from Haru's end, they could form some sort of friendship, or acquaintanceship at the least. When Karin replied to the comment about smoking, Haru sighed. "Just make sure you don't overdo it."

Err... Is Killzone godmodding my character? 0.o He was posting about a shy girl with black hair and blue eyes, and even tagged the post with Nodoka. But firstly, she's somewhere else entirely, and secondly, what he's saying makes basically no sense anyway. Something about the police. 0.o
