Details about the Demon:
...If you fell for any of these lies, you'll regret it, as in her name. It's all an act, of course, and only the wittiest and most cunning of people will be able to see through it. Of course, the mask easily falls through when the girl is in a fight - her lust for blood and the thrill of combat is too much for her to resist. Rue is a sadist, and loves tormenting people in small, subtle ways. Watching others suffer (demon or human) gives her a rush of adrenaline she gets nowhere else. She can be incredibly sarcastic on the inside and is very good as seeing through lies, as an expert weaver of falsehoods herself. That isn't to say she's entirely a monster, of course. If you can convince Rue that you're a friend, and if she genuinely cares for you, she'll be the most loyal and protective friend there is. Just beware her mean streak behind the innocent facade.
History:
As a member of Vanguard, Rue was one of the best. She was a great actress and from a young age could play people like puppets on a string. Of course, her combat abilities excelled as well, almost killing another child in a practice fight, earning a thirst for drawing blood and delivering pain. Despite the areas in which she was strong, there was always a severe drawback to being injected with a demon's soul. Almost every night, the girl is haunted by horrible nightmares that leave her a quivering, shaking mess once morning comes. It's been theorized that the girl loses a bit of sanity each time she dreams.
After her parent's death, Cain, now nineteen years old, raised money to be able to provide for and care for Rue, even having his own house. Rue happily obliged and went to live with him, though they stayed near the Vanguard Facility in case there was danger. Her brother's presence alleviated the night terrors a little bit, making them bearable and even her need for fighting felt satiated when near him. As such, Nee developed into a relatively dependent person, almost becoming obsessively addicted to her brother and keeping him safe at all costs.
