AppearanceBio: Many years before the creation of the Black Lotus Clan. Shin Khan met a man whom he believed to be the greatest fighter. A man who not only mentored him, but was also responsible for saving his life before his immortality. That man's name was Onin Thein. He and Shin became close after he managed to not only master what was taught but surpassed even him. Though during Shin Khan's many travels often with Onin at his side, they soon became some of the most respect and feared fighters. But such reputation came at a price. Onin would soon be taken from this world before his time. During an attack by rivals, Onin's life was ending while Shin was forced to live on without him. The loss was devastating to Shin, as he treated Onin as the father figure he never had. As he buried his body, Shin would keep a locket of his hair. It would be his memento of his dear companion. Now many years later, with the power and technology now at his disposal, he has expressed a desire to resurrect his old friend. Using advanced cloning technology he attempt to bring his old mentor back to life. Though the process of cloning is one of the most temperamental in the realm of science. The first attempt was horrific, using fresh DNA produces better results, but using such ancient DNA added some unexpected problems. It took several attempts to make the perfect clone. Most were unstable, either physically or mentally. It wasn't until the seventh attempt a stable clone was made. Though the clone retains all the skills of Onin Thein, including genetic enhancements made during the process. Though these were made at the sacrifice of his memory. He was thus given a fabricated one which has affected his personality, making much different from the man Shin once knew. Despite this, the clone is a very powerful fighter and a useful asset, one which is utilized as a Vanguard.
