Shea Deadman is a somewhat famous explorer. He is a decent Pokemon trainer as well. Shea frequently sets out on quests to find relics and even occasionally legendary Pokemon, though he has only ever seen a 'statue' of Regigigas. Shea's unnaturally blue eyes are said to be a gift given to his family by Arceus, although Shea doesn't believe it. Shea has learned the art of Mega Evolution and has all of the things needed.

Interesting Notes

Jade, Shea's Mawile, was his first pokemon. He is very fond of her and almost never has her in her Pokeball.
Widowmaker, Shea's Aegislash, will almost never acknowledge the presence of other living creatures besides Shea.
Buzz, Shea's Electivire, originally belonged to his close friend Fred, until Fred went on an expedition to fin Groudon and never came back. Fred was worried about Buzz fighting a Ground type so he left Buzz with Shea.

Shea Deadman walked down North Boulevard. Lumiose was his last stop before he left the Kalos region en route to do one of two things. One: Shea had recently discovered that the "statue" of Regigigas he had found, was in fact Regigigas. He could find a way to awaken the sleeping giant and add him to his team. Two: Shea had heard rumors of a monster deep in the Magma Catacombs. Shea had a feeling he knew what the monster was, and he had a bone to pick with what he thought it was.

Shea found a cafe and set down his large backpack and sat down looking out at the people rushing down the street. Shea felt his fatigue catch up with him. Shea had been exploring nonstop since the disappearance of his friend Fred. He had to cope with the loss somehow, and exploring seemed like the thing to do. Shea had recently been taping his adventures and some had been broadcast on the Internet, one even on Television.

Shea ordered a tea and a sandwich from the waitress.

"You're Shea Deadman!" said someone.

Shea looked up and saw a cheerful girl with a pen and paper.

"Would you sign this for me?" She asked.

"Yeah, sure," Shea said. He signed the paper and the girl giggled and ran off with his signature.

Shea sure hoped he didn't become too famous, that would be more exhausting than exploring.

Shea ate half of his lunch and gave the other half to Jade, his Mawile, who was waiting patiently at Shea's side. She began to think more about his options. Going to Sinnoh could be fun, but Hoenn was nice at the current time of year. Shea decided before he went to either region he would got to Johto to see Mt. Silver. She just wanted to climb a mountain instead of questing for some legendary pokemon or artifact.

It was settled, Shea would go climb Mt. Silver.

"Come on Jade," said Shea, "Let's get to the airport." With that Shea stood and walked towards the airport. Jade close behind.

Jade would never leave Shea's side, no matter his challenge. Jade loved Shea more than life itself. When Jade first hatched she found herself in the arms of Shea and hadn't left him since.

The happy duo walked through the largest city in Kallos together on the way to the airport.

Shea would find himself running into someone else. This man was immediately recognizable as a rather well known movie star. Of course, he was occasionally signing autographs for others, but was otherwise unoccupied, sitting on a bench with a Gardevoir on one side of him, and a Florges, with an unusual blue body and it's flowers colored red (one of many colors), on the other side. The Gardevoir seemed to admire the attention, keeping a mild and cool attitude while the Florges seemed shy at how some people petitioned for autographs from her (although Valve aided her in the signings regardless).

Valve of course was dressed nicely, wearing formal clothes, white gloves and a white half mask that bore to deflect some would be pesterers by virtue of somewhat camouflaging him. His voice was suave and calm, without much care as far as his situation goes. He could probably be described as someone with a great sense of humor and able to roll with punches.

Now, Titania, don't be too shy. You and Arielle are the stars of our current film. You'll be more popular after its done. Hahaha.

He was chuckling at how Bashful his Florges was. It did entertain him quite a bit seeing her fidgit, unsure of attention, the attention only compounded by her odd colors (for she was what was oft called a "Shiny").

Perhaps we'll get you a mask.

, he quipped to his Florges, the quip met with a somewhat cross pout. In any case, Valve and his companions seemed unoccupied as a general state, Valve's hands idly fidgeting with a pocket in his suit.

Shea noticed the movie star, but he couldn't quite put his finger on who he was. He decided to walk up to the star. Jade tugged on Shea's pants as if saying, "We are going to the Airport!", but Shea ignored her.

She walked up to the movie star and pointed at him, "You! You're..." Shea snapped his fingers a few times while he was thinking, "Valve Vlanderson!" Shea had heard of the actor before. Shea hoped that Valve knew who he was as well. Shea had gotten a few things on television, like his exploration of Mt. Coronet.

"Nice to meet you!" Shea extended his hand to the Movie Star, "The name's Shea Deadman. I'm an explorer."

Jade eyed Valve's companions. She hadn't ever really gotten along with other Fairy types. Not so much that she didn't like them, they just didn't like her because of her typing. She was a Fairy type, sure, but she was also a Steel type. She wasn't sue if all Fairy types weren't fond of her, or if it was just the one's she and Shea had met.

Valve nodded and smiled, before standing to return the handshake. As he stood, Arielle also stood, taking one of his arms in hers, smiling at him as she apparently transmitted something to him via telepathy.

Oh? I suppose we should ask about that, Arielle. Well, first, a pleasure to meet you, Shea.

Valve smiled.

Now, Arielle says you seem very familiar. Do you perhaps have a television show?

A valid question to be sure. He continued with the introductions however.

In any case, these two are two of my companions. The Gardevoir, she's Arielle. She's practically a life partner how long we've been together. The other one over here is Titania. Bashful, but beautiful nonetheless. Mind telling me a bit about your friend there?

Titania hovered right next to Valve's other arm, slightly shy at seeing Shea and Jade possibly giving her glances.

Shea took notice of Valve's to Pokemon. A shiny Florges, that was quite interesting. It appeared this man liked to have his Pokemon out of their pokeballs as much as Shea liked to do the same.

"Well..." said Shea, "I don't have a television show per se, but I have had a couple of specials on the old tube. As for my friend here, her name is Jade. She is a Mawile. She was my first Pokemon. She hatched in my arms. She has refused to leave my side since." Shea pulled a locket from his shirt pocket. The locket had a Key Stone affixed to the front of it. Jade had a Mawilite on string around her neck.

"She was also the Pokemon that I learned how to Mega Evolve with," pointed out Shea, "She's even prettier when she Mega Evolves. Isn't that right Jade?"

Jade appeared to blush and she turned away. Jade was already shy, and now she was hiding behind Shea.

Valve finally returned Titania to her Poke Ball at her requests, retrieving a Luxury Ball to do so. Once that was done, he smiled at Shea and Jade.

Well, that sounds like quite a story. Keep that charm safe, okay?

Valve lifted his mask back to his face. As he did so, a bracelet was revealed around his left arm, possessing a similar stone.

Losing it would be troublesome.

Arielle fetched the amulet she had out of Valve's bag, donning it. It looked like a prop piece of jewelry, yet possessed what was possibly the Mega Stone a Gardevoir needed.

Valve spoke again.

Ever consider an Elite 4 Challenge? Beating all the regions' Elite 4 allows you to try for Grand Champion you know.

Shea shrugged. He had never thought about challenging any Elite Four. He never wanted to. Shea had just wanted to explore. This reminded him of his plan to climb a mountain. Jade tugged on his pant leg. Shea chose to ignore her.

"No..." Shea began, "No I don't think I'll do that. I don't want to be a champion. I just want to explore. I want to be famous for discovering something great that will reinvigorate the exploration community. Perhaps I'll find a Legend in a mountain or deep in the ground. Perhaps I'll discover the secret of the Unown."

Jade let out a cry that punctuated Shea's point.

Valve smiled and nodded.

Ahahahaha! I see, I see. It seems Jade wants it too. Perhaps we're holding you guys up. If you need to get going, by all means don't let us stop you. We should be going to actually. We need to get to Jotho for the next scene. We just finished up something at the airport, and now, following the fancy flight sequence on an airplane, the future scenes are in Jotho.

Arielle nodded with a smile of her own as Valve stood to leave.

We'll get going then. Nice to meet you, Shea! I hope I see you on TV someday. You seem like you'd make an exciting show.

Valve extended his hand as for another shake.

Shea looked off the bow of the boat that he had rented. He was recording an adventure for a television special. He turned his camera on himself. "Hello World! This is Shea Deadman. I am here at that Whirl Islands to see if I can't find Lugia. I've been told by a number of residents of Johto that the Legend could be found here."

Shea then clipped the camera to the hat he was wearing. He Looked down at Jade, his Mawile. She cried out in readiness. Shea returned to the helm his rental boat. He set course for a cove he could dock the boat in. Hopefully this adventure would prove to be eventful.

Shea pointed at the camera. "This is a camera," he said, "It records events so they can be watched later. It is a good thing." Shea stood in awe at the Pokemon. He had so many questions, but he didn't know how to ask them. The most important question involved a selfish request. That question would not be asked by Shea.

"I... I want to know something Lugia," said Shea, "How long have you been slumbering?"

Meanwhile Jade took solace in Lugia's words. She calmed down and went over to Widowmaker who was floating idly. Jade tugged on one of the Aegislash's arms. Widowmaker took no notice. Jade tried again as if to say, "Look Widowmaker, it's a legendary pokemon!" Widowmaker didn't care, only one legend existed and his name was Shea Deadman.
