Setting
There is a fighting tournament, an arena for it, a few Arcane Universities, and this is even where the HQ of the Mages Guild resides. Needless to say, this location is extremely important.
Which is probably why, like the Capital, it has its own department of Dragon Knights, armed with the latest of weapons and armor, to fight threats.

And when Demor mentioned busting in...
"As much as a few of my brothers would love that solution, I would not recommend busting into a possibly fortified enemy compound, filled with who knows how many defenses and enemies, wielding who knows what kind of magic and technology" Ivera told him. "Plus, who knows what sort of traps have been set. No, you need some special card to play to throw everything into chaos first".
Ivera knew all about that, as he kept multiples of those on hand at all times.
"Oh, as for empty spaces, I suppose there could be an open lot, though people might be watching through the windows. I would say down by the beach there might be a place, but a few Eldritch Horrors have been popping in and out of existence around there, and spacial configurations are even more distorted then normal. Oh, I suppose one of the rooftops of the nearby buildings would be possible also, if that works".

She glanced down at the flashing indicator, and the flickering screen that indicated a signal lock.
"We may not have to find a rooftop." She admitted, holding up the small device. "I wasn't told for sure because I lacked the security clearance, but the new Bifrost system doesn't require us to be outdoors." She said as she examined the device, placing it back into her pocket, and withdrawing a pair of sunglasses.
Placing them on her head, she turned to Demor and Ivera. "Look away." She instructed, before producing a small pen like device.
She held it up to the Manager and flashed him with a brilliant white light.
"There was no one looking into the strange man with glasses, the people you saw here today were cosplayers."
Putting the device away, she looked to the man who was in a stupor, and pulled the sunglasses from her face.
"Let's go, they're waiting for us." Kathryn said, pointing the first device out in front of her, and pressing a button. Moment's later there was a deafening crack, and a swirling vortex of rainbow light erupted in front of them. She gestured for Demor, and Ivera to go first.
At the order to cover his eyes, Demor did so, looking down and into his cloak in time to not see the flash of white light. Something felt off... was she messing with his memories? Was that possible? He hadn't even heard of a magic capable of completely erasing and replacing memories.... that wasn't possible, was it?
After a few seconds, he looked back up, and saw the manager in a daze, and blinked a few times. Before he could wave a hand in front of his face to make sure the man was okay, the portal opened, and his Predatory gaze widened in awe and wonder. Kathryn made the gesture to go forward, and Demor wasn't one to argue much. Keeping his eyes glued to the portal as he stepped forward, all of his body language pointed to him being on edge. Either he was getting a weird vibe from the other side of the portal, or his awe was putting him into a sort of fight-or-flight response that he wasn't aware of due to the circumstances.
Either way, he stepped through the portal.
As she brought up the memory flasher though, he decided to look away as well. He was a bit curious about the device though, and considered the concept behind such a thing. Perhaps the flash targeted the brain through the ocular nerves, and which allowed it to less mess with memories and more put it into a form of hyper suggestivism?
Either way, once the matter was all done, he decided to follow the two, making sure to send one last message before hand. "Alright, lets do this".
A feeling of weightlessness, and a full body tingling sensation accompanied by a powerful sensation of vertigo followed.
They were being hurled through the tunnel, spatial eddies tugging at appendages, but the tunnel of light slowly began to give way to an all encompassing flash.
>>>As quickly as the ride began, it ended aboard the Psalm Every Day
Somewhere on the outskirts of Questrios City
The sleek black Aschen corvette sailed silently through the skies, it's active camouflage shielding it from prying eyes, prying scanners, and all manners of eyes that could be watching the skies.
Parking itself several meters above some short buildings, and a cul-de-sac street, the Night Flight engaged it's gravity lift, the bottom of the ship appearing out of nowhere, as the hexagonal plates disengaged from their active camouflage mode.
It was night time, and they were operating carefully under the cover of darkness, a large purple beam of light shot down from the bottom of the ship.
The ship's Intercom chimed, and alerted everyone on board.
"We've reached target coordinates!"
Kathryn was the first to move into the middle of the main hangar bay, where a large circular door was opened up, and the purple light of the gravity beam shone brilliantly from the ceiling, and onto the ground below.
Two Aschen marines were waving in a black SUV, which slowly pulled into the light, the gravity beam pulling it into the center of the shaft of light, and then gently lowering it to the ground.
The SUV pulled forward, making room for a cargo van where their equipment was being held, this van would serve as a mobile command post, and it was this van that Ivera would spend most of his time.
Kathryn stepped into the beam next, jumping off the edge of the platform, she carefully sailed down towards the ground, landing Gently before Khaine, and Solis joined her on the street below.
The Marines looked to Demor, Appollonia, and Ivera, gesturing to the gravity lift.
Kathryn looked up briefly, then she checked her radio.
"Alright, New Directions..." She said aloud.
Besides money, anyway.
Unused to the Gravity beam, he sort of flailed briefly before calming down, body and tail stretched out for a moment within the confines of his outfit, which thankfully was comfortable and formal enough for this mission and its setting. As soon as his feet hit the ground, Demor followed Kathryn to the SUV, and offered her a smile, beginning to get into character.
"After you, my dear." he offered with that mischievous smile.
